Fantastic experience: Great vets. Good advice, recommended

Negative experience: 2 stars just for the lady at reception she’s very disrespectful when she saw I didn’t want vaccine for my cat. She started make fan me at me and she may give me luck very disrespectful to my cat doesn’t die just because they want to charge for the vaccine otherwise they don’t do nothing else.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Vets for Pets. Every staff member, from receptionists to the owner, demonstrates exceptional professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for pets and their owners. Dr Badr El Alaoui is an outstanding vet. He gave my cat the most thorough and compassionate examination, noticing every detail with remarkable precision. He reviewed my elderly cat’s notes carefully and demonstrated an exceptional understanding of her medications, their interactions, and potential effects. He spent so much time observing her behaviour, explaining everything clearly, and provided research-based leaflets that helped me understand her condition and future care needs. He was also incredibly empathetic and reassuring to me throughout the visit. His expertise, dedication, and compassion are truly exceptional. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Fantastic experience: Nurse Morgan Goring is an excellent nurse. She is patient. Professional. Understanding and a phantom of knowledge

Positive experience: Overall, I’ve been happy with the vets I’ve seen at Vets for Pets in Quinton. However, the experience with the reception team has not been the same unfortunately. There’s one receptionist in particular who is very blunt on the phone. She interrupts while you’re speaking, talks over you, and comes off quite rude. She’s also not very upfront about the costs involved when asked and tends to be quite critical rather than helpful. I think some training would really help. On a more positive note, there’s another receptionist with red/ginger hair who’s usually lovely – she’s friendly and a lot more approachable. It makes a big difference.

Fantastic experience: Always had brilliant experience from the whole team

Negative experience: I would never use this practice every again. They are all about the money. Pointless tests done on my cat when she would never have been able to have her tumour removed due to it's placement but I was gaslit as I dared to question why they were doing it. It was the most horrible experience. I wish I'd trusted my gut. Complete lack of empathy.

Negative experience: The worst experience I have ever had after my dog was put to sleep. This practice takes simple questions, won't answer them, lie and call it harassment when you keep asking questions. Asked to speak to owner and I have never heard back. Unhinged and one to avoid.

Negative experience: Just called for some pricing, trainee on the desk which I understand, but telephone manner isn't good, put me through to someone else who was the opposite, very sharp, rude attitude on the phone, won't be going there as to me that shows how you would treat my pet!

Fantastic experience: The staff are always lovely and helpfuf.

Negative experience: Don't use this vets they charged me £50 / £70 for a tiny bottle of eye drops £3 at chemist for human ones ! Ask for the manager to be told not there and never heard off them again only reason I left it was cause it was treatment for my dog

Fantastic experience: best place to take you 4 legged babies always look after you and animals

Negative experience: I want to start my review by saying that the receptionists and nurses that we dealt with were fantastic. They were empathetic, friendly, and welcoming. However, one of the vets we met with disappointed us considerably. We took our rabbit to the vet as she needed surgery to remove a mass. We were very anxious about this, and knew nothing about it. The vet we saw rushed through her consultation, recommended an extremely expensive surgery with zero explanation, and showed an absolute lack of empathy or compassion. We were appalled at the service we received and have now changed vets. It’s a great shame as the rest of the staff are lovely. We simply did not feel as if our pet’s best interests were at heart. So if your pet is in need, I strongly advise against visiting this practice.

Fantastic experience: Great service as always. Fast and friendly. Clear with communication and above all caring for our pet and keeping us worry free :)

Fantastic experience: I came in to get my dog spayed today in which I was already nervous but they was all so friendly towards the dog and did not forget her as being a big dog some people are wary of her but they was lovely to the animals and the owners. Thankyou so much

Negative experience: Had a worst experience I could have ever expected when making a serious decision for the future of my dog the woman vet was trying to rush me didn’t put any consideration of my circumstances and was telling me I had to make my decision outside as she had “other customers” waiting when there was no one else waiting outside and showed lack of professionalism and has no care for Animals it showed me it’s just a job to them And not a career they have a passion for I wouldn’t recommend any new customers or existing customers to stay with this branch as the staff are not in it for the good reason.

Fantastic experience: Always good at what they do best. Been with Quinton vets for over 10 years we have a dog and 3 cats registered at this place and always treated them with respect and love what more do you need? When we couldn't afford for an operation and they made sure our cat was looked after and we paid off the cost in 3 months which we were very grateful for

Negative experience: We went to the quinton vets for pets. The first vet we saw was great. The 2nd one wasn't very informative, did no checks on our cat and made us feel guilty. Unfortunately we had to have our cat put down, but again the vet was unempathetic and didn't seem to know how to deal with the situation. However, the nurse and receptionist were amazing and cannot fault them. Also just be aware if you are asking them to do a claim for your insurance they charge an admin fee, which I am unsure is ethical. So, hence if we have more pets we won't be using them again.

Fantastic experience: A lovely friendly vets. Morgan the Head nurse is superb. If you have a dog with temperamental problems with visiting the vets, ask for Morgan. She is brill.

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff and great quality care given to our dog today during her dental surgery. Couldn't have asked for more from them, highly recommended. A special thanks to the nurse who cared for Ruby today and met us when we collected her.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience here Do not take your pet here for an emergency My puppy is now dead due to lack of proper instructions and after care They just took my money and got me out of there very quick so they could finish their shift (if they knew they closed at 2pm and couldn’t have enough time to care for my puppy then I could have taken him to a vets that was opened for longer with adequate support and care for my 11 day old newborn…. ) DO NOT TAKE YOUR SICK PET HERE £250 down the drain And all I have now is a dead puppy that I now have to painstakingly bury in the garden I’m soo sad soo soooo so sad

Fantastic experience: Parents’ dog got I to difficulties giving birth so we dashed up to the vets . They were brilliant , gave her jab to speed up contractions and made a bed in the consultation room where she gave birth to her puppies . Ursula and her assistant were so good with her and so attentive . So thank you Ursula and your team from Bella and her puppies

Fantastic experience: Reception staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. They took time to answer any questions I had. The waiting area was very clean and tidy and also smelt clean. The vet was lovely too. She explained everything about my rabbits injections and possible side effects. She checked them over thoroughly and explained what she was doing. We also discussed their diets and general health and she was very pleased with them both. Overall, it was a very good visit and I would recommend to friends and family. Many thanks to all staff.

Positive experience: Had to visit recently due to having an unwell cat had to pay consultation with medical fees and was told I'd need to return a week later where i had to pay another consultation fee for a checkup that lasted five minutes cat was given the all clear with no further medication, Staff were welcoming and friendly excellent service so would recommend.

Negative experience: they have not offsetting my deposit because of being late for couple of minutes. What easy money for quite short time ! They are not Vets4Pets, RipOffs4Pets would be ideal.

Negative experience: We've been set up with them for our Kitten for £15. However, there's no clarification what services are included in that and every time you come they charge you extra. For example, my kitten had a small wound due to fleas itch and i didn't knew it was because of fleas. Called them and explained them, they took £20 deposit but didn't mentioned it is for consultation and you might need to pay more. Also, none of this is explained on their website as well. Anyway, my visit was only for 1 minute and the vet said its because of fleas and nothing to worry. No medication or treatment was provided. After that, when i enquired about £20 deposit, i was shocked to understand they've asked for £19 more. Upon discussion, they mentioned it is consultation fee whereas non of this was explained over phone or on website. As a result, I'm cancelling my direct debit and changing my vets.

Negative experience: Avoid. Overpriced and Very rude male receptionist who is racist!

Fantastic experience: It was our first visit to the vet. I called beforehand and was enquiring about flea treatments. The receptionist was very informative and helpful. She explained the flea cycle with a lot of detail and offered an appointment on the same day. Once we got in, the receptionist offered a membership for our cat and explained the pros and cons of different plans. I thought the plans were very good value and just what we needed. The vet was very helpful and really sweet. We were incredibly happy with the service provided at your vets and thought the services were priced reasonably.

Fantastic experience: First time visit with Snoop to the Quinton practice and I must say, the receptionist are a lot more friendly, and interact with your pet better than our previous practice in Halesowen. Much more room at Quinton practice, and your able to enter & wait inside.

Fantastic experience: My daughter's dog Bruce had a sore eye let sam know she booked him an emergency appointment and they were absolutely brilliant not only did they find he had scrached his eye he was in pain they looked after Bruce who is ten years old very well I'm glad to say he has fully recovered after a few day's of treatment thank you for your support and kindness with Bruce his now as happy as he can be ttxxxxxxx

Negative experience: Went in to get my puppy vaccination, I asked regarding a full health check and their response " we can check any immediate concerns you have" . I was willing to pay for a full health check but it's like they didn't offer that service or they didn't want to offer it. Anyway I'm going to another Veterinary to get my pup a health check .

Fantastic experience: I was running late for my appointment as I made sure it was known that I was apologetic for this, and the vet was wonderful and gave Squash all the time he needed to get the treatments he needed. The reception staff are very friendly and approachable and explain things to you so you can understand what is going on, this is my first pet, and I wasn't made to feel silly for not knowing or asking questions. I have a pet plan now and this is because it was explained to be so I could understand what I was signing up for.

Fantastic experience: When our cat was poorly and our original vets couldn't/wouldn't fit us in for an emergency appointment, Vets4Pets did. They saw us as soon as was possible. They were very helpful and supportive in a very difficult time. We have now moved all our pets to they're surgery and continue to be very happy with the team.

Fantastic experience: Needed to have my dog anxious puppy weighed for her flea treatment renewal. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Cleared the waiting area and had me in and out in under 2 minutes. Let me wait outside with my pup to lessen her anxiety and brought out my prescription to me! Amazing!

Couldn’t ask for better. Also when called the next day - reception very helpful arranging a t-shirt for her with a short timeframe. Really grateful as it meant she didn’t need to suffer the cone collar all weekend. Thank you

Negative experience: Took the cat for a booster shot as my own vet practice didn’t have any appointments. When I arrived the door was locked so I had to ring a number to check in. The hold was long. The receptionist is sitting an arms reach away from me behind the glass chatting away and completely ignoring me. Anyway I have been told that my cat has an eye condition and I have to do this and pay that. I refused to believe it because I am a responsible cat owner. I would have seen if my cat had eyes discharge. I refused and took both my cats to my own vet in case it’s something contagious. No surprise! Nothing Was wrong with their eyes! Conclusion, This place would make up health conditions to get money. Avoid .

Fantastic experience: The staff was soo friendly the vet rang me up and explained what was going on with my dog, the treatment she was going to give him and overall they was soo good with how they treated him

Negative experience: We had to recently put our pet to sleep. I understand with the pandemic things are hard at the moment but we weren't allowed to say goodbye in the room and weren't allowed to be there during our pets final moments. We had the pet for 22 years, they have been by our side forever and in their final moments they were alone. We were even asked to say goodbye outside to our pet in their carry case, and not take them out. They whisked them away and that was the last time we seen them. It took us forever to get our pets ashes and urn and when we did it was a case of opening the door, the reception lady passing it us in a bag, whimpering sorry for your loss and then going back inside, the exchange took less than 30 seconds. When we went to another vets with our other very healthy pet, we were allowed in the waiting room, the consultation room and allowed to talk to the actual vets. They were mortified when we told them about our experience (and why we changed vets) Do not take your pet here, they have no humanity or compassion.

Positive experience: Lovely, friendly staff however check up appointments are a bit expensive in comparison to other vets and you aren’t even allowed inside. I don’t drive so I have to wait outside which isn’t convenient. It would be better if I can come inside and comfort my cat during the check up and talk to the vet face to face instead of over the phone. Overall good though

Negative experience: This place has gone down with customer service , the staff are so rude and obnoxious . If you need an appt they demand and bully you to make a deposit upfront or they hang the phone up. I was one of the first customers to register here approx 13yrs ago, the staff was caring and gave 100% customer service . Matthew who is apparently a customer service manager needs to revisit his role . He comes across so patronising and rude and I’m surprised Andre’s the franchisee still has him answering phones . The hospitals, doctors, dentists all are open to the public but these vets keep there doors shut and take the pets in from the door . They use “ covid” as an excuse now . Iv had 3 interactions with these vets since lockdown and all 3 communication with “ Matthew “ has been a nightmare . Really disappointed in these vets.

Negative experience: Just after money and no help at all. I have been referred stupid tests so many times even though they were not needed at all. AVOID AVOID AND AVOID THIS PLACE.

Fantastic experience: Ask for repeat prescription. Was told to collect next day. Phone on the way .To make sure it was ready .Phoned again when I arrived. All done in 5minutes

Fantastic experience: My Yorkshire Terrier is 20months old now had 2 seasons already because of lockdown and she had to wait for 3 months before we could get her Neutered and ytiday she had it done her. They allowed her there she got plenty of cuddles and I am very Happy with her care she got from them. They are so caring mot like other vets we have used in the past. Fantastic experience: Matthew at reception is always very friendly and accommodating. The vet was also very helpful in both dealing with my dogs small glands and diagnosing issues with my dogs eating. Vets for pets at Quinton always are able to see my dog if there is a problem and I am grateful for their service.

Fantastic experience: Cannot fault the practice or the service provider it is second to none, staff are lovely and always very helpful, shout out to Matthew on reception who deals with your calls quickly and efficiently :-)

Fantastic experience: Very friendly people, explanations very good, think they genuinely cared for my pet. No problem with getting an appointment. The only problem is you cant go in with your pet.
