White Cross Vets

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I went to see this practice after a previous awful situation with my large Alaskan Malamute who is anxious and reactive. As soon as we arrived the girls welcomed us in, my dog accepted treats (unusual) and we were able to stay in a quiet area. The vet was not scared and used behaviour techniques and distraction to calm my dog. The annual vacs were prepared, the room clean. My dog growled when the vet went to sit by him sideways but he didn't panic and in a few mins everything was done. I know this vet was a locum but he was brilliant and made the visit much less stressful than I had previously encountered at another vet. I have no hesitation in attending the practice from now on.

Fantastic experience: Recently rejoined the vets due to a problem with my dogs teeth. All staff were very caring and helpful. The place was very clean and well organised. The treatment was well done with a very high level of care and professionalism. Charges are no worse than anywhere else and they offer a monthly discount scheme which takes the sting out of expensive treatments. A great vets!

Negative experience: BEWARE!! This vet is trying to coerce its customers into the belief that it is a legal requirement for cats to have a yearly health check. This is absolutly NOT the case. It is optional. It would not surprise me if they are also using this legal threat for other animals treatments and supplements etc. Please be very careful. We were told that they would no longer provide the worm and flea treatment unless we pay £150 for our cat to have his annual health check. This borderline criminal establishment is not the sort of company I would like to give my hard earned money to and I will therefore be using a different vets from now on.

Fantastic experience: We were not with White Cross however when our Kitty was sadly found deceased in a neighbours garden and was taken to them they treated her and ultimately us as a family with upmost compassion, respect and dignity. The complimentary paw print and hair clippings they gave us is such a thoughtful gesture. We will forever be grateful for their care and closure we received at this sad time.

Fantastic experience: The loveliest reception staff ever at a vets! They genuinely love all the animals and are great with people, couldn't do enough to help. Dr Reluca-Stan is an exceptional vet and my dogs love her, we all do! All the aftercare nurses are so informative and compassionate, just lovely people. Wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! And the pet plan is a hassle free, affordable, peace of mind ...well worth the money! A great vets that love your animals like their own! Thank you all so much ❤️

Fantastic experience: White Cross Vets have the loveliest, most kind hearted and competent vets, nurses and staff my family have ever known from a vets practice. We’ve been to a few over the years but we can honestly say that they are just brilliant here. The care they show your animals and you is very reassuring and you leave feeling like your animals are in the best of hands. We wouldn’t want to go to anywhere else and I just hope that none of them leave because we love them all!!

Positive experience: The staff on the reception very helpful when I phoned, I have no personal knowledge of their care, it’s online feedback is good, however after visiting I found the Wolverhampton practice is now closed on both Saturdays and Sundays so have chosen another local vet instead.

Arranging a pets cremation is not an easy thing when you are devastated at the loss of your pet, but everyone I dealt with, in person and by telephone were understanding, sympathetic and made the whole process easier. It's wonderful to see a vets practice truly put your fur babies health and care above all else. Been to many vets in the past and this one by far I give 10/10. Negative experience: Took my dog with a small lump on ear, one look and talk of tumour, cancer, biopsy etc. Needed removal. Seemed extreme for small lump so asked for quote, £981. Took her elsewhere for 2nd opinion without saying a word, its a simple wart, no treatment needed. Would love an explanation!

I would recommend this vets to anyone and do, only thing that could be better is parking can be tricky at times and can be a little stressful. Negative experience: Not good anymore they ramped up price for dog booster from around £38 to £62 from my last visit so won't be going back when I found a local vet charging £34 for same service.

Fantastic experience: Super nice staff, great vets, customer service is thier no.1 thing. Car parking can be a little tough some times and getting appointments can be a little hard, having to call at 8:30 to make sure you get an appointment on the same day is best. There's disabled parking right at the door too.

Fantastic experience: Superb, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Made me feel very welcome and my gobby cats felt nicely reassured and calmed. Always happy with the service. Online booking of appointments is also lovely and convenient, including the ability to easily amend the appointment when I caught covid and couldn't attend. Exactly what you want from a vets. Somewhere I'm happy to leave my precious furbabies.

Negative experience: I arrived with my large breed puppy for second vaccinations and had to stand holding him for 10 minutes while the receptionist was having a friend to friend chat about horses with a gentleman in the waiting room right next to me. I was never even acknowledged by her or checked in and she was the only one there. Eventually the vet who was peering through the door called me through, she appeared to be working solo and having to do reception duties too. She was professional and fine, but considering this practice charges some of the higher prices (almost double some) in Wolverhampton I was completely dismayed by the lack of professionalism from the reception staff.
