Fantastic experience: Very professional and honest vetinary surgery.

Fantastic experience: Been using these Vets for many years always a good service especially this week when we had to rush hour Labrador in after he couldn’t walk after many tests overnight stays More tests to discover our dog got diabetes massive shout out to the two Vets for being patient with us finally getting a dog to eat after nearly 4 days of not eating big shout out to Tom who the dog seems to love. I’m pretty sure he’s now faking it because he likes going back to see Tom nearly every day.

Fantastic experience: I sadly had to have my beautiful rat put to sleep here but I would recommend this vet to anyone the team from reception to vets did their up most to make such a painful experience as calming as possible form taking us back soon as we got there and giving me as much time as possible with my pet before and after to offering me nose, paw prints and fur to be collected so I'd have a part of her with me. Everyone on the team I interacted with was respectful, kind and empathetic about my situation even sending a condolence card in the post a few days later. Thank you all for showing me and my little one kindness in her final moments

Negative experience: Took my cat and wished I hadn't. Gave the wrong medicine and made my cat go down hill. If I hadn't took my car to the pdsa as a emergency he would have died due to these vets not doing a thorough check up and giving him the right medicine

Negative experience: I took my cat in a couple of days ago because I thought I could see something stuck in his paw! there was nothing stuck, £118 wasted on antibiotics he doesn’t even need no stars wasn’t an option

Positive experience: We have attend this vets for many years but the last few times we had been overcharged after being given verbal quotes. One quote given on the same day. Verbal Quotes are not recorded so if you have a complaint you don't have a leg to stand on! My Complaint was just dismissed and 2nd email not responded too after their original response. We will now be finding a new vets who see us for more than a number.

Fantastic experience: I am a wheelchair user, and there is limited disabled parking. The parking area is small and also busy due to the vet being situated on a small business park. The receptionists are always very welcoming, and there are seating areas on either side of the reception desk, which was very clean and tidy. My small nervous chihuahua saw a lady vet who was nice, friendly, and put my dog and us at ease. He had a thorough examination and was diagnosed and treated in a very calm, patient, and professional environment. I would most definitely recommend the Bulwell Vets4pets. The lady vet was wonderful. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: They found our dog Spud to have an inoperable tumour and sadly because it was bleeding internally we had him put to sleep. Vets4pets did everything they could showing compassion and understanding throughout.

We highly recommend him and he is honest, genuinely caring and ensures he's thorough whilst ensuring your aware of costs ect. I would like to also give a shout out to TASH her level of customer service skills is perfect always so polite and friendly and willing to help!!

Negative experience: My daughter was told her dog was going to die from womb infection ask if she wanted to have the dog put down there and then only to find out today that shes not dieing just as vagalittes to just watch if drinking loads is a bad sighn take back book in to be spade thats vets for pets for you all about taking your money

Negative experience: I have taken my dog in 3 times for an operation. Not again. First time I got no post operation information, and because of this I assumed that leash walks would be ok. Dog had stitches and they then came out because of the lack of post op info. Still charged me a second time to put them back in even though it was through their negligence. Before both the first and second procedure, I was given no information about pre-op, and so fed the dog. It was only on the second visit when they said ‘has she eaten yet’ and I said ‘yes you don’t need to worry about feeding her’ did they then say, ‘oh, you shouldn’t of fed her.’ Nice one for telling me. Third time I went in for a spay, the dog was still swollen at the second check up, was told Rhuemacam wouldn’t do any good and to see how we went. Went back as swelling still not gone down and surprise surprise was given Rhuemacam. No mention of cost or anything. Couple weeks later I receive a letter demanding the money. This vetinary clinic falls welllllllllll short with the surrounding information that is in the best interests of the pet. I’ve had 3 operations done there and every single one I’ve either been misinformed or they’ve just not bothered to tell me what I need to know. This will be the last operation I have there. Moving as soon as her next injections are done.

Positive experience: Lovely staff very helpful, my dog actually likes going, and always as a wag for the staff

Negative experience: My cat's appointments where cancelled 3 times during last 7 months. Today's appointment was cancelled 20 minutes before. When lady saw me in reception she was shocked because as she said 'I rang your husband and cancelled' , but she did not mention she rang him 5 minutes ago !!! when I was on my way to the vet !!! I do understand emergency situation but nobody will give me back lost days at work. I have been with Vets for Pets Netherfied for 17 years before and I was NEVER cancelled. Last time my cat was nearly overdue with her vaccination and the nurse in very nasty way did tell me ' next time try to make appointment earlier , not when cat is over due ' This 'lovely' lady had no idea my cat was overdue because they cancelled 2 previous appointments. Really do not recommend this place.

Negative experience: Twice I've been made to feel like a garbage dog owner by the vets there now! The guy vet there is lovely tho. My poor boy has a skin issues and has an ear infection, he's an anxious boy too and yet she insisted on sticking things deep in his ear and then tells me off because he's trying to bite her and is yelping from pain, but keeps insisting on doing it again and again and again..is it any wonder?? It doesn't feel like they care and very much feels like a money making scheme...felt judged tonight because I couldn't afford £200 just like that for a lab to test his skin. Will def go to another vet in future.

Negative experience: Took my dog for vaccine. She said my dog had fleas but I told her it's dried blood from warts . She rubbed it which I asked her not to but she ignored me and made them bleed more. She needs to listen to customers . I also had to return because she forgot to charge me correctly

Fantastic experience: Excellent vets very knowledgeable as you'd expect always put my dog first, my experience is very good with this vets practice unfortunately on my last visit I had to have my girly put to sleep but the whole horrible experience was greatly eased by the professionalism and friendliness of the vet and the staff on the reception desk I also received a condolence card through the post hand written wich is greatly appreciated and shows these guys and gals care for you and your pet greatly especially under horrible circumstances just shows these guys and gals go above and beyond for you and your pet if I ever do have another dog in the future I know exactly where I'll be returning for there expert advice and care I wouldn't go any where else

Positive experience: Normally I’d give a five star as I’ve always had a good experience here and I will say the reception staff would still get five stars but the vet I saw today I’ve never seen before and I have to say her people skills were not great and I found her really hard work like I was stopping her from being somewhere else and the way she spoke to me was as if I was stupid. Will definitely try to avoid this vet in the future. Everything else was fine and the rest of the staff were friendly and the place was clean and tidy.

Negative experience: I had a 9.15 am appointment and although they said there was an emergency people after my time have gone in. There was no explanation and I have been waiting over an hour now. I would not recommend due to poor communication.

Fantastic experience: Can’t fault the staff here. They looked after my boy from a puppy until he passed away aged 9 which included allergy maintenance and a cruciate surgery. The receptionists are lovely and they really do care about your pets.

Negative experience: It was my first time taking my new puppy to this vets, and it was very unclean , it cost me £46 just for her to be seen and the vet couldn’t tell me what was wrong with my puppy’s skin. I won’t be using this vets again

Negative experience: Charge you a fortune for work on pets all prices should be reviewed before you take your pets as it is very expensive and the staff need to smile when you see them

Fantastic experience: Very caring and lovely staff throughout, felt at ease when I was very stressed when my cat wasn't getting into his carrier and I had to cancel. They were very understanding.

Negative experience: Bought my French bulldog in a few weeks ago as she had passed out a number of times also moving gear head in a weird way (neurological).so we came to here thinking the brand alone is enough to no I am going to get the best for my pet. The vet wanted us in and out as soon as possible in my opinion as it was 6.30 roughly and home time obviously calling. Anyway upon telling him the problems showing a video and informing him of an existing grade 2 heart murmur I was advised she was passing out due to heat and was told to make her comfortable until she comes around other then that she is completely healthy. Yesterday around half 3 my children got back from school and as usual would fuss their new pet only for her to unfortunately have some sort of fit or seizure and sadly she had passed away. It is heartbreaking writing this review but I feel as if the vet himself has failed us and most importantly my dog, my freind, my family I have spoken to a manager and she was brilliant and has advised me on what to do but for now while I no this vet is still practicing there and has already failed my own dog wich has resulted in such a loss. I will advise anyone to be cautious in taking pets there atleast be certain and happy with what your told before leaving this is a heartbreaking time and shouldn’t of happened so please be aware

Fantastic experience: Took our dog with a skin problem, the vet was very thorough gave us plenty of options going forward, told us various recommended medicines not just the most expensive. Thank you for looking after daisy and our pockets.

Negative experience: Wish I could rate it 0 stars. Wasn't happy at all with my visit! Told me it could be a couple of things bearing in mind I get better help off Google... my cat had no symptoms of what they said it could be! They wanted over £300 for a bloodtest and her to be put on a drip because shes skinny (shes always been a small cat and well looked after, sorry she isn't obese)... told them I'll go PDSA! Didn't realise I had to pay anything and the receptionist rushed me at the door and put the contactless card machine basically in my face! She was very rude! £39 consultation fee, ridiculous, rob dogs! Update! She had pyometra which pdsa fount out straight away... and had immediate surgery as she was dying, can you imagine if I did stay with vets for pets and went on what they said, she would be dead! Do you even know what you are doing? So unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: One if my cats has an eye condition which we were going to book him in for surgery. The vet examined his eye and recommended a test which. If she is correct with her diagnosis will save him undergoing surgery, and we can get a cure.

Fantastic experience: My dog is a rescue and really didn't want to go inside the vets. The vet tried really hard to calm him down and even took him out the bag to give him his jabs. All the nurses took the time to fuss him to allow him to get his injection.

Positive experience: Very good for day to day, routine stuff, but not sure I'd be entirely happy with a more complex issue. Great prices for regular flea and wormer, nail clipping etc. Just make sure you ask lots of questions, and get a clear treatment plan before you proceed. Wonderful staff who are happy if you want to get a 2nd opinion

Positive experience: I've been going to these vets for years now. I have always received professional and helpful advice from the vets and their supporting staff. On this occasion, I was early for my appointment and was seen immediately. Fantastic experience: I spoke to Tracey at reception who advised me very well. Saw the vet Tom who was lovely to both me and my dog, my chihuahua was very sick the previous vet wanted to put him to sleep but Tom sorted my dog Andy in 2 days! He is now on the mend.

Positive experience: Running a little late on pick up, but were wonderful with my rats castration and explained everything really well. Fairly priced but not overly experienced with small animals. Fairly impressed with how much reassurance I was given about the operation and aftercare. The nurse really explained everything in good detail.

Negative experience: We took our poorly puppy in after she became unwell. Whilst the vet was lovely, the receptionists were rude and horrid. We were told our poor pup probably wouldn't survive the night, which left us upset and my daughter in tears. My daughter went into the waiting room,visibly upset, and the receptionist started hoovering round her! At one point actually pushed her feet out the way with the hoover head! No compassion whatsoever.

Negative experience: Receptionist was rude. We were already waiting 30 minutes late to pick up our sick puppy to be told she may not make it through the night. I walked out early to collect myself and was met with no support by the receptionists, when my parents followed me out promptly afterwards the first thing they asked for was payment, not if everything was okay or checking up on us, payment. When we explained that no one had discussed this with us her answer was unhelpful and quite dismissive "every vet expects payment at the end of the day." Terrible customer service and frankly made the already difficult situation worse.

Negative experience: VERY EXPENSIVE Cat Vaccinations compared to a lot of places i have phoned £68 JUST FOR THE FIRST 2 ""WOW"".average price i have been quoted is £50 to £52

Negative experience: We took our dog for a visit a couple of months ago and were told to regularly wash his dry and overgrown paws. 2 months and £800 of treatment later he's been diagnosed with a skin condition. Why wasn't this considdered in the first place and why wasn't a more comprehensive treatment offered?

Positive experience: Luckily enough have never had to see a vet, just the nurse for flea and worm treatments but always on time and very helpful.

Negative experience: Wanted to sign up and get my cat vaccinated but they say they cart because of Covid-19 and there struggling with their own patient at it is and they don’t have any vaccinations for cats anyway at the moment

Fantastic experience: Rang to say my 17mth old dog had caught and broken his front dew. Got same day appointment medication and peace of mind. Amazing service and staff highly recommended.
