Negative experience: An unpleasant experience with vets4pets beeston , sorry for being late but the vet shows impatient attitude with my cat. He treated my cat rudely during the process and showed an unprofessional way. Push us to make a decision quickly but don't explain professional principles to us. Won’t come back again. In comparison, vets for pets Leicester central has better service there. I moved here so I have to get my cat treated here but to be honest I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Vegard highly enough. He has been looking after my Westie since he was around 6 months old and has been simply brilliant. I had a couple of false starts trying other vets but it wasn’t until I came here that I felt totally comfortable. Ace is my first ever dog and is 14.5 years old now and this year has had a few issues but Vegard’s calm demeanour and knowledge has meant I have felt totally comfortable (even if I am prone to panic and worry!!). No one at the practice has ever made me feel stupid or silly for feeling this way. I trust him 100% with Ace‘s life. I have just returned from holiday in Scotland and had to consult 2 different vets (one in Inverness and one in Glasgow) after Ace took unexpectedly unwell and whilst they were good, they made me realise even more what an outstanding practice this is at Beeston. The costs and the service you receive are simply second to none. Would never want to take my little man anywhere else!

Negative experience: Very good service. Crippling extortionate charges. I believe a external body is looking into vets charges soon. I doubt if anything will be found though on the side of the consumer as usual. How on earth can these charges be explained !! Especially prescriptions!!

Fantastic experience: I have two cats and a dog that I bring here for all of their care. These vets have always been excellent and I come away feeling that they've had the best possible care. The premises are clean and well kept and the car park is also very good for a town centre.

Vet gave thorough health check and listen to my questions and gave sound advice. I have had this specific vet take care of my dogs over the past 10+ years and been very happy with his service so I was confident seeing him this time with my new dog feeling confident that she would receive excellent care.

Positive experience: Lovely vet, my dog was relaxed with her. The only downside is trying to pay, the card machine was so slow and declined my card twice plus a go at manual imput. Ended up finding enough cash to pay. The receptionist was very nice and said I could phone later and pay if I wanted to.

Negative experience: Not great for anything other than routine appointments. We were told there was nothing but herbal remedies for our cat with chronic cystitis, anxiety and compulsive overgrooming. We tried that with no success. I went elsewhere for a second opinion and our cat is now 2 months on fluoxetine and is a changed pet. Her fur has grown back and the cystitis issues are gone, plus she is much happier and more relaxed. Recently we rang up in the evening in need of an emergency appointment for one of my exotic pets as he was very unwell and we thought needed to be put to sleep. Vets4pets would not see him because he wasn't registered there, although we as owners are registered. We only take him elsewhere because he sees a specialist exotics vet an hour away, obviously not possible in an emergency in the evening. We were treated rudely and were left calling up alternative vets in the area, the first one we called booked us in 15 minutes later (despite neither us nor the pet being registered with them) and provided kind, compassionate care. We've now unregistered our cats/dog from vets4pets and registered them elsewhere. I don't want to take the risk of not getting seen, plus the service I have had at other appointments hasn't been good enough really. Fine for yearly boosters and the like though.

He was thorough, helpful and kind and I felt confident in the treatment recommended for my dog. I have appreciated the efforts of everyone at the practice since I joined a couple of years ago, as all the staff and vets are brilliant. They have continued to provide an excellent service under difficult circumstances during the pandemic. It would be hard to find a better practice.

Covid19 has changed the way you see the vet as we cannot go into the surgery, the vets/nurses come to you and if needs be take your pet for a consultation, on return they explain and advise on what they found. Vets4pets Beeston Nottingham is always welcoming and kind.

Fantastic experience: Due to covid 19, the way the practice used safe measures via their car park to collect our animals for their appointments is well organised, sad not to be alongside your four legged fur babies but they still maintain great friendly service that puts your mind at ease knowing your pet is in good hands.
