Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my 2 dogs and cat to Broad Lane for nearly 5 years and I can’t rave about them enough. They are so accommodating, so helpful. When my dog had surgery, they called me several times during the day to keep me updated and reassure me that everything was going well. The receptionists are always so friendly and full of helpful tips and advice! I have a chihuahua that is extremely scared of the vet, they’ve been nothing but empathetic, gentle and understanding. Thank you so much to everyone at Broad Lane for all the help over the years. I feel 100% confident that my beloved pets are in the best hands!

Fantastic experience: Our cat, Max, was vomiting repeatedly so he had an urgent appointment on a Sunday morning. We discussed the care options (including possible x-ray for a stomach blockage) and opted for the first stage of treatment which was an anti-emetic injection. Thankfully this worked very quickly and Max started to eat normally again within a few hours. Good advice. Good care.

Fantastic experience: We took our little Dusty for her annual jabs. She’s a bit of a spicy meatball (our daughter’s description) and not the easiest to handle, even for us. She needed a couple of sedatives before her appointment. Nadine pulled out all the stoppers giving her plenty of time and plenty of treats. So kind. Hopefully Dusty will remember this when she visits next year. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my cats to Broad Lane and Balsall Common Vets for 26 years and they have always been knowledgeable, diligent, supportive and empathetic. All of the staff are lovely, without exception, and there is a real family feel to the surgeries, with many people having worked there for as long as I’ve been going. Appointments are never rushed and staff go out of their way to keep you informed and up-to-date. Balsall Common is a lovely, quiet surgery and Broad Lane, whilst busy, has a separate waiting area for cats. My cat has recently been very poorly and the vets went above and beyond to see her at short notice, make sure we were seen by the same vets each time and to do extra research to ensure that she is getting the most up-to-date treatment available. They have taken the time to explain her condition in detail and discuss the potential impact on her previous litters and the other cats in the household. Special mention goes to Patricia and Laura this time, but all of the vets are fantastic. The free Vidivet service, described as being like 111 for pets, has been a useful addition and responses are generally immediate. We long ago moved to a Kenilworth, where a number of surgeries are available, but have chosen to remain with Broad Lane and travel the few extra miles, rather than move to a more local practice. Very highly recommended

Negative experience: My cat was registered until this evening with your practice. So my rating isn't 'fake'. Looking through your responses to other bad or poor ratings, sums up your practice. Most calculating and uncaring staff of a company I've had the displeasure of dealing with.

Fantastic experience: Delightful visit with Oscar. Very thorough and informative visit in a lovely friendly atmosphere. Oscar seemed very relaxed, however I’m not sure how he will take to his new diet !

Fantastic experience: Despite running behind our scheduled appointment, ours was not rushed. Lovely rapport with Freddy and he never flinched when is booster was administered. Great advice regarding dental routine and diet. Overall 5 star recommendation without hesitation- thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have all ways gone to Broadlane they are just brilliant. With a pooch that has extreme enviromental allergies, food intolerances they have just been the best . We have allways dealt with one vet and Chloe has just been the best and when we have not been able to see her the rest of the team are just brilliant also. What can I say about the reception staff they are so helpful and friendly . Guys keep up the good work!

Our last dog had quite a difficult final year of his life and they were so kind. They tried everything they could to help right up to his final visit. Current pup is similarly treated like the princess she is by all the staff! Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: We have used Broadland vets for 10 years. It is always easy to speak to someone and make an appointment, and every team member we have encountered has been friendly and professional. My latest appointment was with Sandeep and she was really lovely. She thoroughly examined Ali (my cat) and listened to a couple of questions I had and explained things very well. Sandeep sent me through some information after the appointment regarding some further treatment Ali would benefit from and it was very detailed. Thank you Sandeep.

They are not pushy in terms of treatment plans but rather take the time to discuss options with you and weigh up the best outcome for you and your loved pet

Fantastic experience: Have always used Broad Lane for all of my pets. Recently welcomed a rescue dog into our family and wanted him to have a check up as we don’t know his history. Very thorough and put my mind at rest. Also advised on treatments should they be needed and checked that his microchip was working.

Fantastic experience: Cat the vet was lovely and explained the options and implications and also provided a quote which is something we were really worried about after watching the panorama program on how bills can end up in the thousands. We naturally want the best for our dogs and would not want them to suffer but we are pensioners and funds are limited. Tilly clearly got good vibes from Cat and allowed her to take a sample from a fatty lump without flinching and wagging her tail. Due for operation tomorrow and hopefully all goes well. I know she will be well looked after

Fantastic experience: They gave my cat a very thorough examination, treated him respectfully so he wasn't at all alarmed, checked out one thing I was a bit concerned about, offered extra medication for him but didn't push it (like some places do) when I said I didn't think it was necessary. All in all a very pleasant experience, for both the cat and me.

Fantastic experience: Moved my dogs to Broad Lane Vets as the vet I trust and respect has moved here. On this ocassion I was not able to see her, however, I saw another vet who I was equally impressed with. The vet even allowed me to access the treatment room via the back door, as my dog does not deal with small yappy dogs well and there was a JR barking their head off, so we were waiting outside. The reception staff were brilliant and overall it was an excellent experience. I am happy to be at an independant vets as opposed to a big conglomerate. Thank you Broad Lane Vets.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. I really think my dog might have passed away were it not for the quick thinking of the vets here. Put on a drip and kept in for the day and provided after care the next day. So gentle and caring with her and the reception staff are warm and comforting. Utterly amazing

Fantastic experience: My large male cat recently had some major pain which caused him to growl and hiss when I touched him. I called the vets and they found a slot for him to be seen within the hour. Becca was really gentle and checked everything was OK on his back and tail and that his heart was thumping away merrily, and concluded there was most likely a sprain or minor soft tissue injury which some painkillers and rest would sort out. Sure enough he was very subdued for the rest of the day, but then up for some scratching by evening and even purred and allowed a stroke and some brushing. Now he's back to 100% but will keep having mis meds for another few days. Top Result. Thanks to the lovely Becca and Happy Christmas to the team.

Fantastic experience: Razzle was at the vets for his annual vaccination and health check. As always very friendly, kind and knowledgeable vet who also clipped his two back claws for me as he wasn’t looking after them and they were quite long. The vet also applied his Bravecto for me as I had just collected all of my cat’s flea and worming treatments. I will look forward to seeing you again in January, February and March for my other 3 cat’s annual boosters and health checks. Many thanks to you all and your lovely reception staff and veterinary nurses. Also the cat waiting room is always a calming place for our cats to wait as unfortunately none of them care for dogs too much

Fantastic experience: Quick and easy to get an appointment, very knowledgeable vet, very reassuring and helpful information regarding my cat. Also the vidivet that comes with registration to broad lane vet gives peace of mine if need advice when vets are closed without going to emergency vets.

Despite being Saturday and despite our panic the practice booked us in and went to great lengtns to reassure us to what was going on and what we would need to do moving forward. Fantastic experience: I recently visited Board Lane vets due to my fur baby being unwell , it's not often within her life time that we vist but she needed some help . I was really pleased with care that she had the time to explain about what they thought it was and how we go forward with the right treatment . Definitely recommend the practice as they are really helpful and the quality of care they give is outstanding

Fantastic experience: My dog can be difficult to handle and goes over threshold very quickly. In the past some vets have refused to treat him or insisted on double muzzling as a condition of seeing him again. The team at Broad Lane handle him with sensitivity and have several vets that are not put off by his behaviour. They are calm when they treat him and this approach seems to also calm him. I know I can use this practice with confidence that we will get the best possible results.

Fantastic experience: We’ve recently adopted two kittens so have been going to this vets a lot recently for vaccines, spaying, check ups. Im a real worrier when it comes to the cats and they get quite anxious for the vets, but Broad lane have been amazing. They take a real gentle approach with your pets and give them time to relax and get used to the environment. All the staff have been amazing and so reassuring and every time I have been assured my cats are in safe hands, you can tell the staff really care about the animals so thank you!

Fantastic experience: Very quick appointment availability; very friendly reception staff who alway make a fuss of my dog; vet Ms Kaur was outstanding; she listened to what I needed to tell her, asked questions and clearly explained why she made the diagnosis she did. She prescribed meds and went through what she expected to happen and what to do if I had any ongoing concerns after a few days and made a review appt. I left with a clear plan and treatment. Great service ! Definitely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I took my Cockerpoo- Reggie to see Sally at Balsall Common practice on Monday, for his annual vaccinations - she gave him a thorough check over and lots of practical advise too!!! Excellent consultation!!!

The reception team are kind and caring and will always check in with us owners as they know how important our pets are! They are always on hand with information when we have called for advice in the past. The app is amazing at relaying information and the addition of VidiVet is fantastic! We unfortunately lost Teddy’s brother when he was only a few months old to suspected FIP. The staff were amazing at the emergency appointment they were quick and very helpful and kind throughout offering advice and support through what was a very confusing and difficult time. As a self confessed neurotic cat mum I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our fur baby. The cat friendly waiting area and clinic times are a god send. Thank you so much all!

Fantastic experience: All really good, yet again, this is the 3rd year Oreo has been for his injections at Balsall common. Vet was brilliant with him. She had read his notes and was aware he wasn't keen on kennel cough up the nose but after a discussion with me she administered it perfectly. Much better service than I get from the GP .

Fantastic experience: Pet was seen quickly even though I had to postpone the original time due my wife arriving home from hospital. The consultation was done very efficiently and the medication quickly supplied. Top marks all round.

Making appointments is easy, both over the phone and online and I've even used their recommended video vets service recently and was pleased with that too. I have been to the vets with my dog 3 times recently (for different reasons), he's quite nervous of the vets and they have always been kind to him. Our most recent visit, we saw Ali - she was fab!! Really took her time, she was very thorough, gave lots of information and care. She did her very best to try and make my dog's experience positive. THANK YOU!
