Fantastic experience: Amazing vets!! had an emergency because my dog went though the bins and ate a chocolate brownie, they saw her almost instantly, gave her the treatment she needed and sent her home with medication, the took bloody to be safe and would contact me if there was anything untoward. thank you!

Fantastic experience: Receptionist very helpful and do their best to give you an appointment that suits you. Vets are kind, thorough and explanatory. Understand how important your animal is to you. Maybe not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: first time we’ve been to the vets with our kitten. and wow. was so impressed with how amazing the staff were. i believe we had a gentleman called mario, and he was absolutely amazing. slowly eased our kitten into his treatment and was very gentle. 10/10 service, will most definitely be back

Fantastic experience: My cat had recently had a little fit and I took her to be checked over. I was extremely worried but initial checks could not find anything wrong at the moment. Will keep monitoring her. I was treated by a lovely lady vet who was very compassionate and reassuring. I wouldn't trust any other vets with my pets and have been with them for over 30 years.

Fantastic experience: This was a secondary review of my dogs condition carried out by Jorden who was very thorough in her examination. We still have some way to go but I was reassured this is the right path to take including a 3 week plan which will hopefully resolve my dogs condition.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit to the practice. The reception area has seperate waiting area for dogs allowing a stress free wait for cats and other small furries. The receptionists are friendly and informative. There is a good range of products to buy and a good range of information on display. We saw Mr Carson who made us feel at ease making the visit almost pleasant!. The only negative is their policy owners being unable to administer subcutaneous monthly injections as I have done since Covid. A small and understandable issue for registering with a highly recommended practice. All in all we're very happy to have registered with Godiva Clinic. Thanks for taking us on.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this clinic enough, my dog has been operated in here 2 times in 7months and vet Kamil was just fantastic with explaining all the procedure and what to expect after. Fantastic experience: After very recently leaving our vets of 7 years we were recommended Godiva Vets by our Grandaughter....We registered and made our first appointment....On entering the practice we felt "easy" and were greated by a smiling receptionist and advised what to do. we waited in the air conditioned waiting area with background music playing, we felt again as ease...We were called in by a male vet named Ross, again a big smile and felt again reassured we had chosen the correct best Vet for Bella....Full examination given questions asked and answered both ways..... no treatment needed just advised to carry on as we had been.....At no point did Ross attempt to "upsell" us anything no creams no tablets or medicine......quite refreshing we must say as all previous vets seem to do that regardless....So thank you Godiva for a pleasant experience and a woof woof from Bella to..

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Godiva vets enough. We booked in to see Jordan with Joey our 13yr old Cockapoo. She’s very knowledgeable, brilliant with our very anxious dog and you can see that she genuinely cares. All of the staff are brilliant and I wouldn’t trust my dog to be seen by any other veterinary practice other than Godiva. Thank you guys keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: We called for an Emergency appointment for our Cocker Spaniel “Eric” who had chewed a toy and swallowed some rope / string. As this is dangerous we were quite concerned.Although they were full , they managed to fit us in for an appointment.We really appreciated this , the VET examined Eric and reassured us along with some sound advice.

Been a client here for 28 years and been dealing with Conor for about 26 of those. Genuinely a kind and caring man, and never rushed out of your consultation Edit Just had an emergency appointment here 5/8/24 My dog suffered an injury, was seen very quickly indeed and unfortunately she needed to be admitted for some stitches, she has some pre-existing health issues regarding her neck and back, this was noted down and they were great with her. Got her home a few hours later and she's happy enough today. Excellent service and care as always Update 15/10/24 Had to visit yesterday with one dog and today with my other dog, both have stomach issues and saw 2 different vets....both very thorough, explained the treatment plan and next steps should the need arise, rang this morning and seen within an hour. Excellent service as always from all the staff Updated 21/8/25 Had to visit several times over the past weeks, one admission and an ongoing treatment plan...staff as always lovely Updated 15/10/25 Back to see Conor Day again today, as usual brilliant! Very patient with my unsettled dog and a treatment plan put in place. Lovely to see Sue and Angela as well who were both friendly and helpful Updated 4/11/25 Just been in to see Jordan, she was absolutely lovely and explained everything...very helpful and I am very much reassured Visited the practice this week to get my new pup spayed, excellent service from start to finish , follow up call the day after surgery to check she was doing o.k

Fantastic experience: Speedy appointments when needed. Staff and vets are always very welcoming, helpful, kind and caring. They are brilliant with my dog who gets anxious when attending. They take time to talk through issues and make sure you understand whats going on and what happens next. Highly recommend this vets.

Fantastic experience: Ross was superb with our toy poodle, an exceptionally gifted, calm and kind vet. Ross took the time to explain in detail some of the problems our little poodle is suffering with and strategies to assist. we left our appointment feeling reassured and out little poodle left quite calm and happy. Fantastic experience: For many years we have had complete trust in Ross because we are confident that he provides us with the best possible advice and treatment for our dogs. Currently our focus is on one of our three spaniels, who is 12-years old and has a heart condition.

Very good at explaining everything and genuinely caring. We have used Godiva vets for over 20 years. We tried a different place recently but came back to Godiva as they are just better in every way. Fantastic experience: I really rate this practice, so far. The staff are just lovely and very efficient. And the vetinary team are friendly and professional. I like the separation in the reception for dogs and cats. Parking is a little limited though.

Fantastic experience: So glad I found this vet clinic, there aren't many independents left. My dog is comfortable here and by working together his paw chewing is under better control than in previous years. Everyone here is friendly, its well laid out to keep dogs and cats comfortable in the space and we'll continue to keep coming back. AND THEN....... another trip to vets with the new young collie, sadly monty- mentioned above - is no longer with us. Max is a rescue and is finding the world a bit scary. However, despite all the unpredictable behaviour and challenges hes thrown at the wonderful people who work here, he got the right treatment. Some flexible approaches and quick thinking to work out how to keep him calm(er!) made everything work out. I didnt know there's a implant for boy dogs to control fertility. For us it was a easy choice, at least for now anyway.

Fantastic experience: We had a vet consultation for our dog, Monty, today with Conor Day who was wonderful, for example, calm and compassionate and clearly cares deeply about our pets. Godiva Veterinary Clinic has a calm, inviting atmosphere on entry, immediately creating an environment conducive to the health and wellbeing of our cat, Ollie, and us. Abbey, the vet, had such a lovely manner and Ollie seemed quite happy to be examined by her. I particularly liked that Abbey took into consideration my health background when choosing how to communicate with us. We really felt included and valued. In terms of the assessment, Abbey was clearly very skilled, and she communicated verbally, non-verbally and in writing highly effectively, including, following the appointment, Abbey sent us a detailed estimate for dental procedures which was very clear and concise. In terms of interventions, I am extremely satisfied with the choices given and the outcome. Ollie seems to have improved slightly already, although Abbey did make us aware that the treatment takes a few weeks to really kick in and took this into consideration with Ollie's short-term pain management plan. In sum, I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you :) *Update following second visit* A wholly positive response, in line with my original one. Extremely satisfied. On this occasion, Ollie was seen by Abbey again, who has been consistently excellent all round (see previous review). It was a different team on reception, but they were equally as welcoming and attentive as previous staff and quickly and efficiently completed processes. Ollie continues to amaze us with his progress since being on Solensia for osteoarthritis, for example he jumped from the couch to the bookcase yesterday chasing a laser beam, which we haven't seen him do for at least a couple of years. *Update following third visit* This time, Ollie's visit was with Sharon, a fantastic veterinary nurse with excellent clinical and communication skills, for example a holistic approach to Ollie's assessment with an evidence-informed, patient-centred and collaborative approach, including, on weighing Ollie, I expressed concern that he had lost weight. Sharon sourced different scales and documented which ones Ollie should be weighed with on subsequent visits. Furthermore, she showed empathy and compassion, which immediately put us at ease. *Update following fourth visit* Ollie saw vet nurse Beth today. Beth was very gentle with Ollie whilst examining him, and met his comfort needs very well i.e.she sourced a thick blanket for him to sit on during the interventions. She involved us throughout. I never worry about Ollie being unnecessarily stressed when we go to Godiva thanks to the positive effect of the staff and environment. Thank you again. *Update following another visit* I am still very happy with Godiva Vets. Thank you. *Update following fifth visit. Another wholly positive response thanks to the staff and the environment. This time we saw vet nurse, Holiie, who was fantastic, for example she handled Ollie in such a manner that he was very easy to examine and relaxed. Also, she was very thorough from start to finish, and even booked our next appt. as part of the consultation process. Really impressed :) *Update* Ollie has had a dental procedure this week, and, again, I can't thank the team enough- from reception staff through to clinical. You are such a lovely, dedicated, empathetic team. For dental investigation and diagnosis, this practice is desirable as it has dental x-ray equipment thus our cat, Ollie, was checked for issues which cannot be identified otherwise. In terms of process, it was very thorough, for example, pre-assessment in arrival by one of the vet nurses, Kerri; very reassuring phone call mid-afternoon; post-surgery consultation with vet (Kamil, I think...); next day phone call from vet nurse, Becky. I can't thank you all enough :) *Update* Our dog recently saw Connor Carson who performed a thorough examination quickly and expertly and his candour was reassuring.

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer at this veterinary service for many many years. Different pets of course and sadly have lost some through old age but the staff here are absolutely fantastic and always remember you even when you haven't visited for a couple of years I cannot thank Connor Day and his colleagues enough for theit expertise and skills, and for the way all pets are treated with such Tenderness and care and love. I have recommended this veterinary surgery to many friends who all Echo my comments. Reception staff always pleasant and helpful. They have their own car park but should there be the odd occasion when this is full, there is plenty of alternative parking. Separate seating areas for cats and dogs. 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this vets. The receptionist are all absolutely lovely, so kind and caring and nothing is to much trouble for them. The veterinary nurses are so attentive and professional and they really care. We had our appointment with conar day and we can not fault him one bit. He completed a thorough examination of our cat Ernie and he took his time with everything. He had to deliver us the sad news our cat needed to be put to sleep but the way he calmly explained the news really lightened the shock. The whole procedure was made easier to endure because of conar and the lovely nurse who helped him. This vets goes above and beyond from the moment you walk into reception and your greeted with a fresh and clean environment right through to the vets room. I have recommended this vets to others and I wouldn't use another vets now. My other cat is now registered with godiva as well and it makes me feel relaxed knowing this vets actually cares about pets and owners. Fantastic experience: Everyone at Godiva vets is extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, and I am always happy that Smudge has had the best possible treatment. If you have questions about treatment just ask away, you will be given straightforward answers. I never feel pressured to hurry along, Smudge always gets the time needed to fully diagnose his condition, and it is always explained clearly to me, and any options for treatment are clearly explained.

Fantastic experience: Yet again, I was able to get a prompt appointment for my dog, who had an inflamed eye that only became obvious after his trim that day. I was also able to get a follow-up appointment two days later to monitor the prescribed treatment. Excellent service, as always!

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Godiva Vets is polite, friendly + have our pets wellbeing at the forefront of everything they do. I have had to visit several times over the past few weeks with Freya +, hopefully, we have now some idea of her tummy problems. At no point was I made to feel as if I was overreacting + there was never any indication of doing invasive procedures that were not necessary, altho I asked for them. It is sometimes difficult for me to get to Godiva but it is an amazing practice + I will stay as long as I can + will always recommend it to anyone who asks....thanks to everyone

Fantastic experience: All the staff are very professional and caring; they understand how a sick animal is a major concern for owners. You can normally get an appointment the same day and you are given lots of information and advice during every consultation. I cannot fault the exceptional care (and importantly the patience) they afforded my family, when we had to have our glorious Stanley PTS. Thank you.

my ashes have finally come home.
 I am Chopin, and I was a very good boy. I had all my vaccinations and boosters on time.
I attended every health check faithfully.
 My vet, Ian, cared for me with kindness,
and I was never ill. I was never off the lead.
 My sister Debussy-Lucy and I played safely in our private garden,
chasing a ball under our master’s loving eyes.
 There were no flower bulbs, no poisons, no dangers — only love.
I was innocent. Yet you, Dr Day, accused me of leptospirosis
and shut me away in isolation,
 claiming it was for fluids.
 But tell me — was I yellow with jaundice?
 Did I have a fever, or vomit,
or drink and urinate beyond measure?
 You knew the answers were no. Still, you gave me Cerenia.
 You gave me an antibiotic.
 You gave me methadone.
 You did these things secretly, without my master’s consent. Did I really need them?
 You did not give me the fluids which I needed and which were promised. 
You even returned the unopened fluid bag to my master. When I left your clinic, I collapsed.
 A puddle of blood spread beneath me on the pavement.
 My master’s cry for help echoed through the air —
but instead of compassion,
 you falsely branded her aggressive, violent, abusive
because she was desperate to save me.
 You spread those lies across Coventry,
closing every door that might have helped. Afterwards, at another hospital, 
I suffered respiratory and cardiac arrest
during a simple procedure.
 My heart was healthy —

Positive experience: Very pleased with early access to see Vet as dog was suffering quite a lot and it was unusual for her. Meg was very stressed and shaking. Connor was very thorough and helpful. Meg is on tablets and I am waiting for her to recover, but expected to take a number of days.

Pets app is efficient for ordering medicine and we are very well looked after. Everything is fully explained,we are not rushed and our concerns are listened to and answered. Fantastic experience: I registered with this vet because I had recently moved to the area. The reception area is very clean and well-presented, even the outside looks inviting because there is a bench outside. Even the fellow pet owners here are friendly and smiley (animal lovers usually are I find!) I have taken on a cat and took her in for an overall check-up and then, at a later date, spaying and micro-chipping. The prices were explained clearly and there were no hidden charges. They made my pet feel calm and relaxed while in the consultation room which is paramount. I have been to other vets' and they seemed insular and impatient when my previous pets were tense. Godiva Veterinary Clinic really do care and do not seem like other vets that seem to be in it for the money!

Fantastic experience: Excellent treatment as always. Very impressed that I was seen by the vet who operated on Daisy last year, just in case the problem was related (it wasn’t). Highly recommend this practice. Clearly run and staffed by genuine animal lovers, which isn’t always the case.

Fantastic experience: Hi, yesterday I phoned the surgery and was greeted by a lovely receptionist who managed to fit me in early afternoon with my young cat Murphy. We saw the vet Jordan who was so lovely and friendly to me and of course Murphy, asked me my concern’s with Murphy and within a minute she had identified a problem, which she talked me through and so gave Murphy the medication he needed. Jordan was friendly, precise and professional, what more could you ask for. I only joined the surgery in February, for my two newly adopted cats, which I now realise was a very good decision. So, thank you Jordan and thank you Godiva.

Fantastic experience: I was very relieved to bring my cat on Saturday morning as he is very elderly and his health is up and down. The vet was very kind and helpful and put my mind at rest.

Fantastic experience: Visited for the first time with Sammy, to register him and seek advice regarding his cough. Was seen quickly at my appointment time and was very happy with the examination and advice given by the very pleasant vet. The receptionist went to great lengths to explain and demonstrate how to give Sammy his medicine. Overall a very satisfactory visit. I would definitely recommend this practise who were also very kind when I had to say goodbye to my previous dog, Monty last year.

Fantastic experience: Been using Godiva Veterinary Clinic for almost 10 years and I cannot fault them. The friendliest staff, so much empathy, really make you feel welcome. My last visit was so efficient, and really gave me peace of mind. Would 100% recommend, I don't think I'd use an alternate vets whilst living in Coventry.

Fantastic experience: Amazing vets, I really like Jordan (vet) she's amazing with my dog always really good at answering any questions I have or any advice I need. Connor Day is also a fantastic vet he also takes the time to explain everything and is really gentle with the animals. Also the blonde lady on reception is really friendly she always remembers my dogs name and is always really helpful. There prices are standard to any private vets. High but I feel vets on a whole are expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. Strongly recommend this vet practice.

Fantastic experience: As always I and my dog Lily were treated with the utmost care and respect, the vet who treated Lily was very gentle with her and reassuring. I'm happy to say that Lily has been a lot better since her treatment and the vet has advised me to monitor her progress and to call immediately if I have any concerns.

Fantastic experience: I have had some bad experiences with vets in the past so I was very cautious about seeking a vet for my new dog Luna. On registering Luna over the phone I was able to get a same-day appt to diagnose Lunas newly acquired severe limp. On attending our appointment the vet (dont recall her name im afraid) was polite, friendly, efficient and after a quick examination gave me two options of the way forward so I was able to choose which route to take, I wasnt pressurised into taking the more expensive option ( I chose anti-biotics and inflamatories) which, Im happy to say had Luna back on four paws in a couple of days and now fully recovered. The overall price, considering todays cost of living and inflation I found very reasonable too. I hope we wont be regular visitors for the best reasons -but if we do Im really happy Ive found a vet that I feel comfortable to trust my best friend with.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Godiva vets rushed my dog in with a suspected spinal injury even though they were busy they went above and beyond to accommodate us quickly giving her the pain relief she needed and referral to a specialist. Vets explained everything putting my mind at rest that there’s hope for the future.

Fantastic experience: Initially the phone was answered quickly and my appointment was made with no problems. The receptionists are friendly and efficient. My vet, Ross really cares about animals and their owners. His knowledge is expansive and provides excellent, easily understood instructions for the care of my dogs. I left feeling relieved that all my worries had been addressed.
