Fantastic experience: Our dog has been coming to Emscote vets since 2022 and we can't fault the care he has recieved. All staff are fabulous, so professional and kind. He really enjoys coming in and they make the process ao easy for us. He jas a repeat prescription which we ran out of, we requested this this morning at 9am and collected it at 12.30, absolutely incredible service and we are very grateful to have such a fabulous local vets!

Fantastic experience: How lucky to be a dog or a cat patient looked after by the team at Emscote Vets. And how lucky we are as their principal carers to be registered with them. From the warm and friendly help from the staff on the registration desk to the caring and considerate attention of the vets themselves, the entire experience is faultless. I often think I could quite cheerfully spend all day there, and invariably leave in a far better mood than when I arrived. Not naming names but some GP surgeries would do well to take note!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Emscote Vets. I had to register my cat, Oscar, really quickly due to an injury as I'd previously registered with a different vet in rugby (I was going to move there but Oscar had never been to the surgery). He was seen the same day! The surgery is clean, bright and comfortable with a separate cat area, keeping them safely away from dogs. All of the staff were really warm and welcoming, immediately putting us both at ease. All in all, a really lovely, positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately my much loved and adored cat was very poorly and we were in Costa Rica. It fell to our Trusted Housesitter to take him to the vet. He linked me up on WhatsApp to talk to Clare the vet and we discussed the possibility of Harry cat recovering. Sadly he was beyond saving and I decided he needed to go over the Rainbow Bridge to alleviate any further suffering. Heart breaking for me in Costa Rica and Mark at the vet. Emscote Vet have allowed me to delay payment till I return on 7 February. I can say they are exceptionally caring, professional and I can heartily recommend them. I have Harry’s brother and I will definitely stay with Emscote vets for any treatment he requires in the future.

Fantastic experience: My cat didn't bat an eyelid when he was treated by the vet. She was so gentle and constantly talked softly to him. I am grateful and very impressed with her .

Negative experience: They used to be caring vets when worked elsewhere until they set-up this vets. My dog was registered here for many years but it all seems to be about money now for them & charging for medicines that my dog clearly didn't need. Paula is very abrupt & makes you feel like you're a naughty school girl when she talks to you. Her notes on my dog were unreadable with so many spelling mistakes. I'm glad I moved vets.

Very reassuring, incredibly helpful with empathy to my concerns. Paula treated my cat and she was absolutely fantastic. My cat is very nervous yet she was made to feel at ease by Paula, reassuring her constantly. What could have been a traumatic experience turned out to be fantastic. I am extremely grateful to Paula and the team for looking after my cat. Superb vets. Fantastic experience: I cannot fault this vets and even recommended to family and friends. So far I have 5 cats neutered and spade and a few more to follow. I have had 2 visits in the last 24hours with seconds notice as i was worried about my Queen stitch following the birth and still birth of her babies. Paula and Emma, I cannot physically thankyou both enough for your help and wise words whilst i was in such a state and also the receptionist/s for passing me straight on to emma for assistance over the phone. Fantastic experience: I’ve never been with any other Vet surgery but Emscote are a lovely Practice. All the staff are wonderful and they go above and beyond. We did consider moving to a surgery nearer to our home but I’m not sure we would get the same personable service. The Vet we have mainly see has been Marleen who is incredibly hard working and gives the utmost care and attention to our cats. Thank you all so much at Emscote Vets for everything you do.

Negative experience: With a heavy heart I bought my beloved 17 1/2 year young Monty to be put to sleep 27/3/24 at 4pm. He was really a poorly boy.. Over a period of a month I had a couple of in-depth, informative conversations with the receptionist/nurse regarding advice on what to do when the time came for me to bring Monty in to be put to sleep. Both conversations I had the ladies were empathetic, sympathetic & human. I was so grateful. One lady even told me of her own loss of her own dog a few months ago & she went through step by step what she had gone through & what she did. She was lovely. Then I booked an appointment & we came in to the practice: * I was sent into one of the side rooms with Monty. * Punctually Kate came in. She didn't introduce herself to me. I only found out who she was after I looked her up on the website after. * She went through a rather torturous questioning into why I wanted Monty out to sleep. I was made to feel quite uncomfortable. I mentioned how Monty had stopped eating & had done for a long time & because of this he'd lost so much weight - Kate mentioned that isn't a reason to have a dog out to sleep. * Kate then went on to sedate Monty, she had put an old dog blanket on the filthy floor. I kneeled down to be & comfort Monty. * Kate bought in some treats for Monty. I could see they were Dreams cat treats. Kate mentioned, normally this would really upset a dog's tummy, but that's really not going to matter now & continued to feed him. * As Monty was becoming sedated & calm, Kate mentioned for me to go to the front desk & pay. Oh my goodness, I was absolutely a mess & distraught. Being on the floor with my best friend & all Kate could think about was me paying. I actually found a strength in myself & said NO!! I am staying with my Monty. As if I could go to the front of the desk where there were customers in the state I was in. Plus I was on my own, my choice. I was appalled & made to feel very angry. As if it wasn't upsetting enough to be there with my boy in his last moments. * Kate then administered the fatal injection. * Kate said she would leave & give me time with Monty & as she left she said "I will go & fetch your invoice". * She then came back & handed me the invoice. I was so sad how myself & Monty was dealt with. I am still disgusted to be honest. I have followed Paula's career & changed vets, as I have loved how she has treated my dogs & myself with a professional respect , care, above sometimes putting my dogs first, cancelling a surgery procedure 8 years ago to put my westie, Jasper to sleep he was also a good 17 years young. She was Fantastic. I'm hoping I will hear back from yourselves to tell me how this will not happen in the future to other poor animals in their need of kindness, thoughtfulness, sympathy also the people that come to you with their pets.

Fantastic experience: Lovely practice, trustworthy and friendly staff. Paula is brilliant with my nervous-aggressive cat, not even heard a growl out of her at Emscote and have been able to have her fully examined, where in the past she’s been untouchable due to her temperament. Paula took her tooth out under general anaesthetic yesterday and it all went smoothly. I also recently got a rescue dog who I was told was very nervous at the vets but she’s been to Emscote twice now and been very comfortable and happy the whole time ☺️

Fantastic experience: I moved away from the area and therefore tried several other vet practices but could never find one like Emscote Vets. I now therefore travel quite a way to ensure I get the best possible treatment for my dogs. I highly recommend this practice especially Paula.

Fantastic experience: EDIT: My dog has been registered in Emscote since he was a puppy and Paula always has been amazing with our dog and our endless questions! My Cavalier is a generally healthy 5 year old dog, recently been having back problems and we got him an MRI scan that showed a mildly inflamed disc. He’s been better with pain meds but yesterday he ran to the patio door when he saw a cat outside, started jumping and fell down. He didn’t get up. When I rushed there to check his hind legs were in a locked position and he looked paralysed. He Tried to walk to me with front paws, dragging the rest of his body. I rushed my dog to the Emscote Vets, in tears and hysterical, with no appointment, about to have a breakdown myself. I bumped into Fay, at the carpark who immediately took me in, got us in a room and let Marleen know. Marleen (absolute hero), was seeing another patient but she stepped out, gave my dog a check to ensure he’s not in a critical condition, organised an immediate injection and came back later to review. The whole time they were all super supportive, making sure not only my dog but I was ok too, Beth & Fay made sure I calmed down and all was under control, the whole time we were there. I’m so glad we have such a good clinic 3 mins from home, with great vets, nurses and admin team. They ARE the BEST. Great team, always helpful, always friendly, I’d give them 1000 stars if I had the option. They always make sure my dog is getting all the checks he needs done, has the best care and are always ready to answer questions. They’re head and shoulders above the best team in Leamington & Warwick area, probably in the country too!!!

Fantastic experience: We thought we would take Betty for antibiotics and painkillers for a fat paw but had to leave her for a small procedure. Everyone was so wonderful with her and us. She’s a rescue and everyone went above and beyond to make sure so wasn’t traumatised. We can’t recommend your practice highly enough.

Positive experience: Mixed experiences depending on which vet you get to see. Marlene is a very good, caring and efficient Vet if and would strongly recommend her. Would not recommend Charlotte we found her hesitant, distracted and very costly; sent me home with denta sticks for a dog that needed anti biotics for a bad mouth infection saying he was too old for an anaesthetic .

Negative experience: Sadly I cannot recommend despite the nice staff. Every single time I feel pushed to buy inferior quality good (kibble) or some other things we don't need. Some of the prices are ridiculous 3 times more expensive than what you can get from an online pharmacy. Also I'm abs shocked that anyone would recommend to a growing pup a food as low in nutrients as royal canine or even worst. Surely a dog's health should come first instead of marketing and sales.

Fantastic experience: Been my vets for many many years, originally for my 2 dogs and now for my cat. Always friendly, courteous, and professional and, very importantly, they really love the pets they treat, it's not just a business for them. Very highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my pets to Emscote Vets since they opened. We had seen Paula at her previous surgery, and were so impressed by the care she gave our animals that we would have followed her anywhere, quite frankly. The whole team are fantastic people - all animal lovers who really care, and treat our pets as if they were their own. I wouldn't trust the care of our animals to anyone else, and I highly recommend Emscote Vets to anyone with domestic pets (including small furries like hamsters and rabbits). 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Kate has been treating our dog Frida for many years. We have complete confidence in her and thanks to her Frida has gone from being a rather sad, poorly dog with a serious condition to being bouncy and happy & in remission. Fantastic experience: I have been with Emscote Vets since they opened and with Paula for a few years more. There is no other practice I would trust with my animals. They are so kind, compassionate and welcoming and always remember each animal and their quirks! They have been so kind when I’ve had to say the final goodbye to my animals, making an awful day that bit easier. They care about you as an owner too and your well-being which is so rare these days. My Poms love to visit the practice which says it all! I can’t recommend Emscote enough ☺️

Negative experience: Recently overcharged for an operation on my pet, when challenged flatly refused to reconsider.. only when referred to Trading Standards did they refund and compensate. Was then invited to leave the practice, shocking behaviour

Fantastic experience: I first used Emscote to help treat wild hedgehogs that I rescued. Paula was incredible and gave up a lot of time to help. She is simply a brilliant vet and is awesome with my nervous border collie. 100% recommend them. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The entire vet team is brilliant every time but particularly Paula and Nicky who willingly take on my grumpy cat whenever she has a visit. Negative experience: I am recently new to Warwickshire, did some research into vets and so registered my dog here (who is epileptic). I recently needed to take him to the vets due to lameness and when I got there I found that they hadn’t read his records properly (sent records several days prior) and didn’t even know why or how he was epileptic. He then proceeded to have an allergic reaction to the anti inflammatory jab he was given, he seized 5 mins after getting home (rang and explained) and didn’t get back to me for well over an hour! Not happy at all and wouldn’t recommend. I will most definitely find elsewhere! Also ridiculously priced! Was charged £109, £56 for consultation alone for just being told ‘I think he has a sore toe’ !!!!

Fantastic experience: I went with my vulnerable son and his new kitten. It was our first visit and a new experience for both of us. From the vet's carpark to the cats' waiting area, the examination and his cat's first injection the whole experience was a positive one. My son was so pleased with the cost of the treatments and the advice given that we have booked the next few treatments here.
