Fantastic experience: Jo is outstanding. She explains everything clearly and takes her time with you. It is obvious how invested she is in her work and really cares for animals. Couldn't be more thankful for how she has looked after our pet. On top of that, the reception staff are always welcoming and extremely helpful. We have had an excellent experience at White Cross overall.

Fantastic experience: They take really good care of our cat, they are ALL great. Good service, great advice and I feel my pet is really cared for there. They are friendly and dedicated. There is a separate cat waiting area. They always call if anything needs doing, even if it's because we have overpaid and they owe us money after things are sorted with the insurance. I feel like our pet is cared about there.

Negative experience: I’ll never forget the time I brought my heavily pregnant dog here. As the cet was inspecting her rear end, a gush of liquid came out. I said “did you just break her waters” her reply was no it was urine. And sent us home. Anyway she died in labour at home.

Fantastic experience: We have moved here recently. And we’ve been insanely impressed with the care our girl, Bubbles is given. Firstly, our vet, Jo. She has really been a superstar with Bubs. She listens to both me, and my dad. Reassures us, and is super encouraging with Bubbles treatment with her allergies and weight loss. She’s celebrated our victories with us and has continued to give amazing care to our girl. The ladies on the reception are amazing as well. I have a goldfish memory and they constantly remind me and my dad book her in for her vaccines and check ups. I also appreciate the various appointment reminders. Bubs had a recent emergency as well. I don’t know who I spoke to but she managed to fit me in within two hours and offered plenty of reassurance. But everyone I have met at this practise is so lovely and friendly. Highly recommend anyone who is considering registering to do so.

Fantastic experience: White Cross vets in Roundhay, Leeds have been absolutely brilliant with our JRTerrier X Beagle. He's a rescue and gets very stressed at the vets. The staff have given us solid advice that has helped our dog have a better, more positive experience, meaning he can cope with full health checks, blood tests & having his booster. They have been patient and understanding over the past 2 yrs, who haven't judged us, as some vet practices did. They understand the complexities around a nervous rescue dog. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: As a relatively new pet owner, I have called the vets a couple of times about my cat and always got great advice over the phone, which has allowed me to monitor at home instead of coming in in a panic. I never feel rushed either - staff are willing to chat and discuss things properly and I really appreciate that. Yesterday I took the cat in for routine vaccinations and Jo the vet was great with her. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Positive experience: Good vets nice administration staff friendly good vet in particular Karen who is like a cat whisperer but changing staff often my furbaby has had an allergic reaction to some drops but is well always give you time and are thorough on advice

Negative experience: Miss diagnosed my dog saying stiff in his leg to the limping then months of librella injections, take him back now a lump developed under his foot causing the limping. Not proffesional id say miss diagnosis and struggling on disabilirty living with all ghis costs.

Fantastic experience: My concerns about Rose having eaten a large number of mince pies (Xmas) was listen to and addressed as immediately and medically appropriate treatment given. I am so relieved my 6/12 puppy is well and has not suffered the consequences of kidney failure.

Fantastic experience: The team are fantastic! They have been so supportive and understanding with our rescue Dachshund. He’s not had the best start in life and can very nervous around strangers, especially men. White cross have been so accommodating and supportive with him, always going out of their way to make sure he has the most stress free visits possible. A fantastic vets, highly recommend!

Negative experience: Disappointing service!!! My daughter took her puppy for first jabs and saw a vet who said she had a perfect healthy little puppy. On the next visit the nurse took her puppy to be weighed came back and said she thought her tummy was bloated and she was severely under weight and wouldn't give her the jab, instead the nurse wanted my daughter to collect poo samples for 3 days and take back to be tested at a cost of £150!! I spoke to them and said the previous vet said all was OK so why was there a problem the receptionist replied he's no longer with us because he was giving out incorrect diagnosis yet my daughter had seen him in the practise working half an hour before. The whole situation seemed weird. I complained on my daughters behalf and she was given a full refund. On taking her puppy to a different vet she was told her puppy was perfectly healthy and was the correct weight!! I feel Blue Cross vets were taking advantage of my daughters young age by trying to get her to pay for tests that weren't required and caused my daughter alot of unnecessary upset!!

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my Bichons here for 3 years. I've never been disappointed with the treatments they've received. The entire staff are brilliant. Very friendly always on hand to help. No matter how big or small. A+++++

Negative experience: Went to the vets with suspected arthritis in my 7 years old, after anti inflammatories didn’t work vet suggested Librela injection or x-ray blood etc £750. I agreed to Librela - no explanation of any possible side effect which I believe should have been explained especially with a dog with a history of a sensitive tummy. This is now 2 weeks of diarrhoea every night! Always do you research in whatever the vet is giving your dog as I don’t believe most vets do!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant vets. I have a very anxious and scared German Shepard who is petrified at the vet’s. Everyone there from nurses to vets understands this and treats her calmly without fear or judgment. I have been to other vets where this hasn’t been the case and I face felt judge for having an aggressive . Can’t recommend this team enough.

All staff from reception to the vet are very friendly, dedicated, professional and have a wonderful understanding and manner if your pet is scared like my Nero! Rachel, who checked his health, was very calm, made Nero comfortable and provided me with all the information. I definitely reccomend it!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly vets who care deeply about animals. Billy Bob was absolutely scared but Rachel's calm nature helped Billy Bob calm down and he was okay with her giving him his injections. Definitely recommend for your pets check ups and vaccinations

Fantastic experience: Took my cat here on Wednesday for neutering through the Cat protection scheme. The outside and inside is clean and the staff are really nice and polite. Only downside.... They don't remove the cats voice box or the claws

Positive experience: I've always been a huge fan of this practice but they have recently had a pricing restructure. Being part of a massive chain I doubt the staff had much of a say in it as they actually look slightly embarrassed when talking about the cost of treatment. We've found a local vet who will come and treat our dogs at our home for the same consultation fee so it's a no brainer.

Negative experience: My dog was registered here last year and I found it to be a joke of a place. They didn't bother following up with previous vet to get my dog's medical history. When my dog was getting a general health check I had to ask her to check his eyes as she failed to do this. He needed drops for his eyes and they had none in stock so they had to order it in and I was told I'd get a call when it comes in. A week later I found out that the order wasn't placed. So glad I left. So unorganised and all over the place and so glad I left. I would not recommend. Zero stars if I had the opportunity.

Fantastic experience: The staff are brilliant throughout the whole process. My dog gets very nervous when visiting the vets. This also makes it a stressful experience for me. But the staff make the experience as easy as possible. They are very supportive and understanding.

Negative experience: Really not happy. Been sent home twice with wrong size collars for my cat. Now got one too big. Because of poor treatment and advice my cat now has a worse wound on his leg and he is having to wear a collar for even longer. Was told I could bandage the wound and then today I was told by a nurse that I shouldn't as his leg could get infected and he could lose it. High priced treatment that does not deliver on care.Too many inexperienced nurses left to deal with customer care. I will be moving elsewhere

Negative experience: Policy regarding repeat prescriptions a joke in my opinion, why the vet has to "examine" your dog every three months before issuing a prescription for apoquel is just a money making exercise and also the price for medication compared to online needs an investigating

Fantastic experience: Always look after my dogs. Manage to secure urgent appointments and always listen. My dogs are nervous in vets but they are very good with them. Have used them for almost 9 years and never had an issue. Would recommend them 100%

Fantastic experience: Super helpful staff. Called and Katy on reception answered super helpful as we have a 12 week kitten she hasn’t had her injections or anything yet and had been sick through the night although being short staffed they got us in that afternoon and gave her a full check up and the vet was lovely. We now have a very healthy little girl. Thanks guys will highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I booked as my regular practice was busy and my pet needed treatment. The receptionist was very helpful and told me the price of a consultation so there were no surprises. The practice was clean, tidy and well stocked with appropriate products which were not forced on customers and reasonably priced. The vet was very knowledgeable, taking her time with the examination checking Wilbur thoroughly, I felt confident she had his welfare in mind and wasn't just recommending treatment for financial reasons ( such as other vets have done). Treatments were also reasonably priced and I will definitely use White Cross again.

Fantastic experience: Excellent vets. Can't think if any negatives. Staff are great and facilities too. My two Cavalier King Charles tell me that they both enjoy visiting and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Shocking experience at this vets. Would not recommend. Cheery hellos does not = quality care and compliance with RCVS code of conduct. Ask for records and have your phone on record! Concerningly others have shared concerns affirming my experience and their necessary legal engagement

Negative experience: Staff have a generally sunny disposition (save for one) however this disguises an unsatisfactory service and a history of complaints. Absolutely would not recommend this vets to any other person

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency. Was given an appointment the same afternoon. I arrived anxious and shaking. The vet wasted no time and was able to reassure me that my cat was going to be ok. I was able to buy meds at the surgery, tso treatment began as soon as I reached home. The premises are clean and modern with some parking off the road. There is a separate waiting area for cats. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: My dog has been spayed and also had booster vaccinations here and I’ve always found the reception staff and the vets very kind and knowledgeable. They all genuinely care about the animals and go the extra mile to put them at ease and treat them as if they were their own pet. This makes me feel confident that my dog will receive excellent treatment. The surgery is spotlessly clean and socially distanced with spaces between the waiting room seats. I would highly recommend White Cross Vets to everyone who has a pet.

Fantastic experience: We had buddy in for x Ray and surgery to remove something he ate . Treated him quickly and showed effection supported me through the process. Buddy is recovering well and getting lots of care

Fantastic experience: Cannot fault this vets in anyway at all. I contacted them as our present vets wanted to amputate our cats leg due to a growth. They got us in straight away, did tests and an operation. The care and support they offered our cat and us as owners was exceptional. They always got us in when our cat was in need and showed us and our cat respect and understanding. When it came to having to have our beloved cat put to sleep the care and understanding the vet showed was also exceptional, giving me time to think and also options for the time. I wasn't rushed in anyway during the heartbreaking process. They even sent us a sympathy card complete with hand written note and forget me not flower seeds inside. Again I cannot thank this vets enough. You are all exceptional, kind and caring vets and receptionists. Thank you for all your help, care and support.

Fantastic experience: This was the second vet I went to concerning my cat, at the first the veterinarian told me he had no idea what's wrong and that he didnt like her chances, at white cross I was given a diagnosis and options on what to do next, which was far more reassuring and have me peace of mind. To top it all of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, I'd be more than happy to entrust muffin to their care again!
