Fantastic experience: on a trip to Sheffield I had stopped in Leeds to let my dog out in a quiet and nice looking park. within 10 mins he was attacked by an off-lead pitbull who came out of nowhere. I rushed him to the nearest open vets and these guys looked after him immediately. can't thank them enough for how fast they acted and sorted us out.

Fantastic experience: I want everyone to know that if your beloved pet is in need then this is the place to bring them, Simon is the best vet I have ever been to and this is talking from being a doggie owner for over 20 years having visited vets all over the UK. Simon being faced with a very difficult case never gave up on Teddy he gave him his all and tried new medical procedures and thank the lord he did, Teddy went from the brink of death to three months later very nearly being back to normal. I would like to thank everyone who had been involved with teddys care you are all amazing, there has been many dark days over the last three months and I don’t think she knows it but Jackie has been keeping me going she takes the time to talk to me and has a lovely warm nature, caring and sweet. Thank you for being there for Teddy and myself we couldn’t have done this without you ❤️

Fantastic experience: Been using this vets for the last 10 years for my cat Tenka. Being an outdoor cat he often gets into fights and he's been through the wars recently (literally). They are beyond thorough as Tenka was taken in for a tooth clean but under further investigation they have found a large lump. We are incredibly grateful to Laura and the rest of the team!!!

Fantastic experience: Our loved labrador cassie went over the rainbow bridge and the staff and vets were so understanding and caring for her we can't thank them enough ,they even came out to the car to see her so we didn't have to put her thru too much stress ,and this morning we had a lovely and thoughtful card from them they went above and beyond thank you so much , from all of Cassie's family x

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend this vets enough. My fur baby Simba unfortunately had to have emergency surgery for his eye. Everyone here was amazing from the receptionist I can’t remember her name to the vet Alice who took care of him. They really do have the biggest hearts ❤️a big thank you to them all

Negative experience: Took injured pigeon here, which involved physically handling it - left without washing my hands.

The pigeon is currently being cared for and doing really well so thank you for taking the time to bring it in. We do have hand sanitiser on reception for customer use, but if you feel you want to wash your hands, you can ask any member of our team.
Fantastic experience: A few weeks ago, we lost our as our boy zapper and I can’t find the vet enough for what they did for their compassion and loyalty throughout a big thank you to the vets

Fantastic experience: Staff great and nurse my dog saw was super with my dog, she genuinely loves animals, it shows. There again today, this time to see the vet, again my dog can't wait to get in, barks to let them know she's there and rushes in to the room as soon as the door opens for her. Glad she's like that as she has to go every month. They're so good with her. Can't recommend them enough.
Fantastic experience: We have two dogs, a husky named Mowgli and a German shepherd named Max and their uncle Danny works at vets4pets and we just love visiting. Every staff member is warm and welcoming and always puts both our rescue dogs at ease. I’m bias because Danny is my big brother - he is so knowledgable and always there to answer any questions we have. I’m so proud to call him my big brother even if he does paint warhammer in his spare time. Anyway - back to my review, thank you Leeds vets4pets, and thank you to my big brother, we wouldn’t want to take our boys anywhere else and we would recommend this vets to everyone. Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the staff here and so do my 2 dogs my big boy make a bee line for Jackie on reception and she always makes a big fuss over them both
Negative experience: Took my 3 week old kitten to them recommended by pdsa. All went well at first untill the vet brought a young lady in who stood watching while I was taking to the vet the kitten walked to the edge of the table and fell off. The girl did nothing to stop or pick him up leaving it me to do that. The vet fobbed it off. I put a complaint in on line. Received a call from the vets an apology. Was told she was work experience and first day. But she didn't use any common sense. Sorry this is not acceptable the kitten was a rescue found on a street.
Fantastic experience: These guys are lovely, they make me and my puppy feel so welcome and my last dog actually looked forward to coming here! I do like the paid monthly plan that they offer too. Definitely recommend
Fantastic experience: I don’t think 5*’s are quite enough for these amazing humans. We’ve been coming to these guys for the last 3 years & they always go above & beyond for our 2 girls. We’ve had numerous surgeries performed & each time, they’ve always shown great love, care & compassion. Negative experience: I booked a neutering appointment with it being my second one, I previously missed the first one due to some circumstances and at the time I did not call to opt out which I acknowledge is my mistake and I could’ve tried to find the time to do that. I arrived for my second appointment at 8:13 being late 13 minutes which again I take full responsibility for being late, but when I talked to the receptionist and she asked if I was the 8:00, I said yes then while looking at her computer in very condescending way said “Late” I said I was sorry and I hope 13 minutes isn’t too much but mid sentence she again interrupted me saying “Late”, after that she tried to see if she can fit my in but that isn’t a guarantee. I personally would’ve been completely fine with her saying that I was too late and had to rebook but at least in a nice way. I did manage to get the neutering done that day and the vets themselves were amazing.
Fantastic experience: Amazing service , friendly and just a pleasure to community and visit given that I had previously had my pet registered with another Leeds Vets 4 Pets practice . If you want to feel valued and your pet adored and to be treated with respect then this is this practice to go to . Thank you for making us part of the Vets 4 Pets family and keep up the good work .
Fantastic experience: I really like this vets even though I don't have a cat or dog (but I go with my Bessie mate and her dog if she needs me to go for support for her and her cute little dog) The only thing is that Vets never have a proper price list up

Phoned to make sure it was cancelled and was told my appointment was today it most definitely was not because I have a text message proving it., she was a bit rude to be honest!.. Fantastic experience: Unfortunately we had to put our baby Bella of 17yrs to sleep a week ago very sad. I must say the empathy that was shown to us by certain staff was incredible, when we went in that dreadful day we was shown straight to another room and Alison the lovely vet came in and explained everything and she went at our pace giving us time. Alison first give Bella a sedative which allowed Bella not to be frightened and she was very relaxed and went to sleep, again Alison give us more time. When she came in to give Bella her final injection Bella within seconds was at peace and Alison checked her heartbeat she was gone. Again Alison give us time. A week later we got Bella’s ashes back with some paw prints of her and a lovely card from the staff which we was touched by. We miss our baby very much and the house is quiet without her but we are grateful to the vet Alison, thank you xxx

Fantastic experience: Reception staff, vets and nurses alike are very caring and understanding. They show incredible patience with our grumpy old dog and you don't feel rushed in your appointment. I feel confident that they always treat my dog in the way that is best for her and us.

Fantastic experience: My dog was in severe pain with h8s neck thinned disc causing him pain took him Monday morning by tue night time he had an xray tablets and a plan in place easy to understand the vet Simon followed up on Thursday dog was 1000% better and improving everyday. Nice staff easy to talk too aswell

Fantastic experience: My cat, Ziggy, has to go to the vet every month for a painkilling injection. Everyone, from the receptionists to the nurses to the vets, is always so helpful, friendly and caring. Today he had a dental procedure under anaesthetic. He'd had a problem last time they attempted to do the procedure but was really well looked after and Alice was very thorough in explaining what had happened and what they would do differently this time. While he was in they found he had a sore infected toe and cysts on his chin which they treated at the same time. He got lots of fuss and strokes as well. As a bonus the total was less than the maximum quoted as they didn't use everything. Very happy, thank you!

Fantastic experience: My cat, Molly, has been with this vets for 14 years. From a kitten in January 2010 to March 2024. Sadly on 11th March she was put to sleep due to kidney failure. The vet, Alice, was amazing. Very professional and caring, as are all the team. When I adopt my next rescue cat, I will register again. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Simon did the surgery for my little Freuchie 12 weeks old for cherry eye ,he really explained procedure and Archie went with him no problem he was great also gave us advice for our other pups skin and reception are always lovely very helpful even followed up with a phone call day after surgery

Fantastic experience: Took our pup here for the 1st time and everyone was lovely and helped keep her calm. She loved being fussed and had no problem with her injection. Her little chew treat was an added bonus. I did my research before picking here but was swayed by their payment plan. Having 2 other animals I know how easily they can become injured and how costs can mount up. Combining the plan with my pet insurance means that I won't get any nasty surprises. However, even if I hadn't wanted to go for the plan, it wasn't shoved down my throat to buy. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and so far I am highly impressed.
Negative experience: Shocking just felt like they was there to take money off me. Pushing things on me my dog didn't really need. They booked me in for a checkup after 2 week but didn't say I'd have to pay 50 pound for them to see my dog (looked in his ear said he was fine , but i might need some cleaner incase the infection came back ) i was in ther 5 minutes. Supposed to be there for the pets and owners yet the hard reality is they are just there for a wage. ( just reply to your massage if a ear infection wasn't identified in the 1st appointment why was I sold ear drops for an ear infection ?? )
Sorry that you felt the service you received wasn't necessary. An ear infection was identified during Jacks 1st Vaccination and treatment plan agree, improvement was noted during the 2nd vaccination 3 weeks later but still showing signs of moderate inflammation and soreness. A follow up consolation was recommended 2 weeks later and agreed and we were pleased to see significant improvements and Jack no longer showing signs of discomfort and soreness.
Fantastic experience: Reception were absolutely fantastic very friendly, being a rabbit owner for the first time it was stressful however vets4pets were really good in providing peace of mind and ample Information

Fantastic experience: We came here to put our beloved pet rat down after she had been ill for a long time. The vet made the whole experience as positive as possible and left us feeling supported on a very difficult day. She explained the process and talked us through the options in a way that was sensitive and understanding. I'd highly recommend this service.

Negative experience: Vets fantastic - attended for 10 years. Office manager aggressive - accused me of not paying when I had. Receptionists not the same since Lesa became ill. No longer attend. However, changed Kylos diet, stopped insurance and manage his skin condition my self. All going very, very well. Unlikely to use a vet again - too much hassle and too expensive.

Fantastic experience: My knowledge for my puppy was very limited as it is the first time I've had this breed. The vet helped me with a lot of things to do with her breed. Also the yearly plan was explained to me so that I knew exactly what I was paying for.

Negative experience: Procedures not explained properly, was not seen by vet after my dogs surgery to let me know how it went, I was just handed my dog back by nurse. After treatment I Had to get a second opinion from different veterinarians who identified that my dog no longer needed to be on the treatment or weekly check ups I was being advised of by Vets4Pets. Very pleased I have switched to an independent practice.

Fantastic experience: Have had 2 of our cats done here so happy with the service
Negative experience: Very Bad experience, the vet was very poor, she only cared about selling her insurance, she didn't care about my cat's condition, I asked for a pcr test for my cat, she didn't accept it, I raised cats over 10 years, I could feel that she was not suffering from a common cold. But the vet only gave me a few tablets of anti-inflammatory medicine, which led to my cat's sequelae, very bad medical experience, the vet's standard is very low, the service attitude at the front desk is also very poor, environment is narrow and cold

Fantastic experience: It was our first visit to the surgery and was very happy with the treatment both us and our pets received. It is easy to find, good location and clean, but it can do with some odor eliminator of sorts in there as it didn't smell too good. Everything else was good.

Fantastic experience: As always, Mario is well looked after and I think secretly he enjoys his trips to go see Laura his vet! Always get the best advice and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Our Mario is 16 years old now and wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for John. Mario had a tumour in his thyroid gland. 2 years ago John operated on Maz and removed it. We can never thank them enough.

Negative experience: my cat has an infection, I don't know why, I've been to this clinic twice and I've been charged £100 each time, but my cat always gets it again, and when I call them they tell me to come to the clinic and pay another the same amount, they just want money but they don't give their interest

Negative experience: We recently had to make the heartbreaking decision of having our boy put to sleep. We chose vets for pets on Easterly Road because we had heard/read good things about them, unfortunately this was not the case for us. The receptionist was so lovely and kind and very understanding, however the vet we saw was the complete opposite, I won't name them as I'm far too polite. We were seen late, with no apology or explanation. As soon as we entered the room we were asked if we wanted to stay, of course we said yes. I was expecting the vet to talk us through what was going to happen but instead I was just passed the consent form and asked to sign it. Our boy was very stressed, which was understandable, so I asked about sedation, but was told it wouldn't be necessary. I thought the vet knew best so didn't question it. After trying multiple times and causing our boy unnecessary pain and humiliation the vet decided sedation was probably best, but it was going to cost an extra £40, which we didn't have on us. We'd already paid upfront for everything else. After standing around for a good 5 minutes trying to figure out what to do the vet agreed to let us pay the extra cost later, but made it very clear that it needed to be today. We were obviously upset about our boy, but the vet was more concerned about money. We thought things couldn't get any worse but unfortunately they did. As our boy was taking his final breaths the vet was trying to engage us in conversation and at one point told us that 9 was still quite young for a dog, which of course isn't what we wanted to hear. During the appointment our boy had had an accident and was a bit messy, so I asked if I could clean him as one final thing for him, the vet agreed and got me everything I needed but then proceeded to do it themselves. Afterwards we were barely even given 2 minutes alone with him to say goodbye one last time. I asked if we could move our boy from the floor away from the door as it felt wrong leaving him just laying there, we were told no and were rushed out as the vet had other appointments. We waited in reception for some paw prints, which were smudged and very messy, which just added to the overall upset. Before the appointment I was lead to believe that euthanasia would be painless and peaceful, but that was not the case at all. The whole appointment was very rushed and the vet was very unsympathetic and cared more about money than our poor boy. We left feeling as though we had made the wrong decision and had let our boy down, and we will not be using this practice again in the future. We received a condolence card a few days later which was a nice gesture but didn't make up for our awful experience.

Fantastic experience: Great value for money.. When we had to have our dog put to sleep after 12yrs with us the care and support shown by the staff was outstanding, they really did go over and above for us. Although we don't live local we still attend now with our new dog for the reasons stated. ❤

Negative experience: Quite terrible service. After leaving a bad review, we were told that their services had been withdrawn, and we could not return. We had been mostly happy and uncomplaining clients at this point, for over 10 years. This reaction from the practice manager has been experienced by other clients who left bad reviews because constructively complaining has not got them any resolution. Eventually and after multiple emails, the practice manager Stephen, agreed to refund the difference between what we had been quoted on the telephone, to what we had to pay on admission on the day. This was then contorted and twisted by him so that the refund was much less (we were quoted as recalling one amount over the telephone, not the amount we actually said we were quoted. "Prove it", was the attitude). In essence, we were quoted 350 pounds approx for a dental scale and extractions. When my dog, with toothache, was admitted we were told it was actually closer to 800 (before they had looked at him). We paid it anyway, but there was no empathy or understanding regarding our shock at the 150 per cent approx increase. We also had a very poor and traumatic experience of euthanasia here with another dog, which was upheld on complaint to a partner. The nurses and receptionists are simply lovely, we are sad that we will not see you again. Some vets are excellent, others poor. Never quite sure what you are going to get. What's worse, the manager and some vets gaslight and make you out to be the problem, when you are being totally reasonable and polite. I hope they read this and strive to change the culture of some staff members, rather than just labelling us as difficult clients in order to avoid taking a long, hard look at things
Fantastic experience: Cooper was really naughty at the vets and it was our first visit to Ves 4 Pets. The staff were really brilliant especially Lisa and a young man who's name I didn't know. They both went out of their way to help me with Cooper

Fantastic experience: My cat (fluffy) was having his teeth checked by the nurse but when I got him out of his pet carrier he was struggling to breathe properly so the nurse put him straight on oxygen he was on it for quite a long time, got him home and thankfully he's ok now. Vets4pet you were great. Thank you. Xx

Fantastic experience: I recently acquired a puppy and so went to Vets4Pets for his inoculations. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost, so signed up for a years worth of flea and worming Treatment. Again the cost was very reasonable, £16pwk, so I paid for a year in full. They appeared professional and caring. There was no pressure to use their services. It just gives me a bit of reassurance in the event my pet does need medical care.

Fantastic experience: My overall experience at Vets 4 Pets was flawless start to finish. We took the hard decision to take my elderly dog Zorro in for a dental, racked with nerves but knew it was for the best. From dropping off to picking up, I couldn’t have asked for anymore from the whole team at Easterly Road. I had calls throughout the day to update me how she was, which really helped. I’d like to say a special thank you to Simon & Lauren for taking such good care of Zorro.. there was so much risk involved with this surgery and I couldn’t have chosen a better vets for it.

Negative experience: Euthanasia - On both occasions today AM and PM. All he was concerned about was payment! Unbelievable considering the circumstances of the appointment. Right after the PM Euthanasia, I’m talking minutes after the procedure, last cuddles etc, the “Vet” couldn’t help himself but say ‘so there’s just the outstanding balance of £138 to pay’. And comes out whilst we was putting our lifeless pet in our car, looking agitated after he told us to put our dog in the car. Again making sure we’re going to pay!? In the end I was just like I’ll do it over the phone Seem very money originated, even in times of these situations. Yes they have a business to run, and do this procedure day in - day out. But have some respect!! I for sure will be moving my other dogs from this practice after todays experience. Disgusting.

Fantastic experience: The receptionists and nurses were wonderful, they were very caring, empathetic and helpful with everything. One of the receptionists even insisted I bring my dog in after hearing her symptoms, and she was entirely right to do so (she had pyometra which is an emergency as it can be life-threatening). The vet (Simon) was professional and seemed knowledgeable, he did a great job with my dog's surgery, but he seemed a bit rushed in his explanations and I felt like I didn t have enough room to ask all the questions I would've liked to ask. It might just be my impression, but I felt like he didn't like me very much or the fact that I was trying to ask extra questions. I am very happy however with how promptly he treated my pet, a scan and surgery on the same day as the appointment, and my pet walked out on her own feet after surgery. In that sense he was brilliant, no qualms. UPDATE: 2 years(?) later, my dog is perfectly healthy and the surgery site healed with almost no scar. Still 5

Positive experience: Friendly staff & vets. Know your pet by name & send reminders when check-ups due or it's time to administer flea & worming treatments. There's a car park (of sorts) here but it's shared with the 7-11 on the same row so parking can be an issue at times. There are steps which are quite steep but there's also a ramp so access for most although an automatic door would improve access for those in a wheelchair.

Fantastic experience: A quick review for the member of staff called Rosy Mason. Absolute gem. Dealt with my giant cat by cutting his mats out in, minuittes. She is like a cat whisperer, she handled the giant lion on her own, and made the impossible possible. She was soo welcoming and acknowledged everything. If any management are reading this she definatley needs employee of the month, pay rise or some form of recognition, it would be very disheartening if the management don't recognise what great employees they have on the front line, they never make any job seem big enough. I would also like to add on people leaving low rated reviews, leave low rated review for every other business too, sso theres nothing wrong with the service provided at vets for pets, there's something wrong with the person who rates every one low and is never happy. Negative experience: Brought my dog Kobi here last Saturday to have his claws clipped and was very distressed. The Nurse was lovely and really did try with the help of Simon but they didn't want to put him through anymore stress than he was already in and I appriciated that. They advised that we brought him back the following Saturday and prescribed him some tablets to take on the morning and try again. I have just got back from the vets and I am fuming. Laura the vet was very unprofessionally rude. She asked why I had brought him for his claws to be cut because she didn't think they looked that bad Why prescribe my dog sadation tablets to come back a week later at £38 pound if they wasn't that bad ? Why have the lovely nurse and Simon try their best the week before if they wasn't that bad ? Why put my dog through another morning of stress and sedation if they wasn't that bad ? Laura clearly couldn't be bothered and didn't even want to try untill I said something. Again the other lady was lovely and did try again but couldnt do it so we left it there. Im taking my dog out of this vets because there was no care at all from Laura and just advised me to teach him on not jumping up. He is 10 month old Laura.

Negative experience: If you have hidden disability AVOID at all cost you will be challenged by the receptionist no matter what, and then banned from the practice for not sanitizing hands even though I have contact dermatitis stephen ransome also handled my cat inappropriately.
Fantastic experience: Originally they weren't able to fit Neo in but managed to squeeze an appointment in for him taking into account my work commitments. The vet was great, lovely and friendly and explained everything in detail and also wrote down the name of a website I could visit to check out any further information on Neo's condition.

Fantastic experience: Brought my 6 month whippet puppy Harvey in this week after an accident where he collided with another dog whilst playing. He wasn't previously registered but the staff made the whole process an absolute dream. Got Harvey in for the surgery he needed within 24 hours of my first call, and we've just brought him back home. I can't recommend this vet highly enough. They've been so accomodating, friendly and personable throughout and I will have absolutely no hesitation in bringing him back here for years to come. Thanks so much to every member of staff we've come into contact with so far. It truly has been the easiest and most worry-free experience that it could possibly been and I feel like we've been so lucky to have had everyone's care and attention for Harvey (and us!)
