Fantastic experience: Always had a great experience at this practice. Our silly cat, Frodo was recently rushed in after he became very ill and needed emergency surgery. Fati is a great vet, explained everything clearly and really looked after him with great care.

Fantastic experience: Honestly we have had such a lovely experience each time we go to Vets4Pets for our dog Otto. We heard of them from one of their lovely nurse Paige out one day after struggling to find a vets that felt reliable and friendly. We are often welcomed by Lauren and Linzy on reception who are so friendly, super helpful and always interact with Otto. It's easy to get in touch by phone and they are amazing at calling you up to remind you of appointments as well as providing you with all the information you need. The clinical team always make Otto feel as settled as possible in the practice. We had Otto in for his castration and tooth removal this week. Vicky kept us up to date on how everything was going via WhatsApp with cute pictures throughout his short stay. Shannon then gave us all our post op information and brought him out to us. The rest of the team have always been great when attending check ups. We both feel like this is a practice that not only treats Otto but really takes care of him. It's nice knowing that when we leave him we know he is in good hands. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Superb place with very friendly attentive staff. With superb pricing! I never feel as though they do more than is necessary to charge you more like others do but do always go above and beyond expectations!

Negative experience: Went to Vets4Pets last year with my dog , she had a lump on her gum, seen the vet Michelle she looked and said it was cancer and there was nothing they could do because she had just had an operation on her back and because of her age she wouldn't pull through, I asked for a biopsy to be done on the Friday they said the results will be back Tuesday or Wednesday, I was still waiting on the Thursday and when I phoned and asked they come back the day before but didn't have time to ring me, the lump come back benign it was an abscess on a tooth got antibiotics and it went. To your response below I did speak to Keeley about it and you never got back to me.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and caring staff. Helpful, knowledgeable and didn't try to sell anything we don't need. Highly recommended. My only complaint is they all said bye to my pet but didn't say bye to me

Negative experience: Scam vets only after money. Took our new cat to them, and the vet pretended to find a flea. Absolutely impossible for the cat to have fleas. Then it was hard sell time for flea sprays, medicine etc. When questioned she backed off and said she could have been mistaken. It could have been a black piece of dirt!

Negative experience: All round terrible. Misdiagnosed my pet which resulted in death and are only interested in your money not the welfare of your animal. Wouldn’t even recommend them to my worst enemy. Complaints procedure isn’t even up to date which shows how much they appreciate and value their clients.

Positive experience: Great staff on reception, expert vets, clean rooms and excellent animal care. A little expensive, as all vets tend to be, but not the worst out there. Great consultation and care advice when my dog injured her leg recently... And thanks to all involved helping Minxi's paw

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking place to go all thay are intrested in is your money it’s as simple as that offer you things that do not work etc but then try offer you them again well if it didn’t solve the problem first time round how will it the second I had a pet plan cover with them and the male vet tried charging me for the consultation is shambles pulled my dog out of there as they do not have a clue he has had the operation that he needed now with the new vets I have decided to sign him up to said there is nothing wrong with his skin when vets for pets wanted 179 pounds to sort the issue out when there was no issues absolutely shocking place to take your pets

Fantastic experience: Fantastic vets, from the vets themselves to the support staff. Our puppy, Perry, is around 5 months old and they look after him so well. They remember his name and they help encourage him to the point where he enjoys going to the vets now because the staff are fantastic with him. They cannot do enough for you and your pet, providing end-to-end care for him, and are always willing to offer advice on him specifically and his breed. Their pet plans are also extensive but yet so affordable! Cannot recommend them enough, they're a wonderful support.

Negative experience: Had to take my cavapoo there twice in the last 2 weeks as for the 1st time he started having anal gland problems. First vet we saw was a guy who really hurt my dog, looked newly qualified. Took him back the same night as my dog was bleeding from his bum. The vet huffed and had an attitude as we had gone back. Went again yesterday, saw a different vet and once again came out without the problem being fully rectified. The lady vet we saw said we can monitor him again in 10 days, course u can at almost £40 a visit without getting it sorted. Got a quote for a teeth cleaning whilst we were there, £300, absolute joke!! Really not happy with this vets at the moment, i agree with other comments they just want as much money out of u as they can get.

Fantastic experience: This vets is good in everyway as they are caring & very friendly

Positive experience: Great staff, they were INCREDIBLE when our old dog passed away, treated him and us with such respect and kindness, and did paw prints for us. The only negative is that I wish they were a little bit more open minded regarding raw feeding, if they accepted our choice there it would have been a straight 5 star!

Fantastic experience: We had to make the difficult decision to have our beloved dog pts. He was in end stage kidney failure. Eliott the vet was patient and gave us all the information to make the correct decision for our dog. On the day Eliott and the rest of the staff were kind and understanding on what was the worse day ever. Thank you so much to the team.

Fantastic experience: Friendliness of all staff. Knowing that vet knows my cat's history very well and always takes an interest in her Reassurance re her terminal problem and treatment explained well by vet.

Negative experience: Great vets and they looks after the pets very well. However I purchased a 3kg cat food recommended by the veterinarian at the vet, what I didn’t check was the expiration date. After using it for 2 months I checked that It was going to be expired in a week. I bought it from them for more than it usually sells for at any pet shop or supermarket etc. They should have warned me that the pet food was going to expire in 2 months because I still have more than half of the food left and it’s expired. I called for some help regarding the expiry situation and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. In conclusion, the are great people to get your pets checked from but DO NOT buy any of their products. Instead you can buy the same thing at any supermarket or pet shop for a much cheaper price.

Fantastic experience: Helpful and friendly receptionists with good availability of quick appointments. Both vets were very professional and friendly. Highly knowledgeable and explained things in a clear and concise manner. Again, both vets very competent which in turn gave me confidence in the treatment plan for Mia. This was the first time Mia had been unwell so we were quite worried but the care and service we received was efficient and quick and gave us peace of mind should Mia be unwell again . Thank you to all for great service :)

Fantastic experience: As always, reception staff at the Swinton branch are welcoming and friendly. The vet was great with Hector, who actually likes going to the vets. His problem was sorted efficiently, thank you! .

Fantastic experience: My dog isn't the easiest to work with as he can be very nervous and feel threatened but the vet still managed to give him his vaccination :-)

Negative experience: Took my dog into the surgery to be told within 10 minutes that she needed emergency surgery. She was apparently put on a drip for dehydration for approx 6 hours. To bring her home and end up at PetMedics out of hours because she had GASTRO not a foreign body that i was told she needed emergency surgery for. Was also severely dehydrated even though she had been on a drip all day. Shocking vets and all about the money! Glad i didnt fork out for the surgery because it wasnt needed. Will never ever use this vets again. Made me feel like i had no option but to bring her home and let her suffer. Didnt even check for any other illnesses just wanted to do surgery. Was also told that the vet wanted to go straight in without doing scans or x rays.

Fantastic experience: The vet was friendly and welcoming and patient with my pug who is a wiggle bottom. I only asked a couple of questions but he was knowledgeable and understanding. I’m very thankful for currently and in the past, that the vets and nurses haven’t judged me for owning a pug, they’ve always been helpful. I know there are vets who aren’t huge fans of brachycephalic breeds due to their well known health issues so it’s nice for my pug to receive a warm welcome and treated the same as other breeds by all the staff.

Fantastic experience: I was highly satisfied because it was a vey pleasant visit. The reception staff are lovely to speak to, the wait for the appointment was very quick. The nurse and vet handled my bunny in a way to not make him nervous about his vaccination, did a health check on him and clippe dhis nails.Both were also very lovely to talk to and gave me good advice on any questions I asked.

Negative experience: Charged twice for consultation when the second visit I was asked by the nurse to come back. Ridiculous prices. Cheaper to get a prescription and order online for medication

Fantastic experience: Elliott was very professional in his manner but also very caring, taking the time to explain the terrible situation our Yorkie was in. His insticts, regrettably, proved to be good and the biopsy did indeed confirm an aggressive cancer. When Holly passed away a few days later, which was as peaceful as possible due to the medication prescribed, the receptionist that dealt with us showed remarkable professionalism and fortitude in how she handled us, as we were both utterly devastated. Being allowed to spend some time with Holly in private was very, very much appreciated and it made saying goodbye just a little easier. I did have one concern, however, relating to whether I had followed the treatment program correctly. I sent a message asking if Elliott could set my mind at rest but I did not receive a reply. It would have just been nice to have received, perhaps, a quick follow up call to establish the circumstances around and the cause of Holly's deathk. Just knowing would have made me feel better. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience of dealing with Vets4Pets at Swinton, albeit in such sad circumstances.

Negative experience: Never will I go back to this practice again. They will not accept liability for endangering your animals, then make you sign a gag order. Discusting service. Also have done this to countless pets in last few months. This place needs shutting down!!!

Fantastic experience: The reception staff nurses and vets are always brilliant with my dog Luna, as well as friendly very helpful and always ensure they are thorough when we visit. We are always given an appointment whenever we need one and they are a great surgery!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic vets, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Took my dog for a termination due her not being able to carry puppies. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and supportive. Injections were administered in a calm and loving environment where the most important thing in the room was my dog. No side effects from procedure a now happy and healthy pet. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thank you all so much for all of you’re help and treating my dog like a queen ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: As always, every member of staff we encountered were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Both dogs were treated with care, and even though Wilson suffers with anxiety, and becomes very unsettled thus needing to be muzzled and held tightly by my husband. He was treated with gentleness, patience, and understanding. We are always at ease when we know that we have to bring either of our dogs there, and that is all due to the staff that work there.

I was really dissatisfied with my last vets as I felt they were rude, arrogant and unwelcoming whenever I called them to book an appointment they never made me feel confident to take my dog to them and that it was just a business. Swinton vet4pets were totally caring and understanding and I will be happy to go as and when I need to from now on.

Negative experience: I never leave reviews but feel i have to in this case as i am very shocked. This vets is a complete SCAM!! I paid £90 and my cat is still very sick. I went in with my cat as she was scratching too much and leaving cuts on her head, the vet told me it was probably allergies. My cat was given an injection to help the itching but no actual medication was given to help with her allergies so my cat has continued to scratch too much and has gotten worse! I don't understand why I wasnt given any solutions or medication to help with her actual allergies? After speaking to my sister and my friend who use to take their pets here it seems all they do is half a job so your pets won't fully recover, you'll have to bringing them back and you'll have to keep paying even tho they aren't getting better. It's very disappointing and extremely upsetting:( I will never ever take any of my pets here again. It's just very sad because all you want is for your pets to be okay:( I've since found a new vets who have helped so much! Park veterinary clinic is where we go now, i paid half the price here as well as they fully explained everything that was happening with my cat and gave me several different options on how we can help my cat get better.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for the last 2 years with my dog. The staff have always been polite and helpful. All the veterinary staff I’ve met have been lovely too. I pay £12 a month care package for all his flea and worming treatment, and you do get discounts on other things too so I do feel my dog is well looked after.

We had to take our pug to be put to sleep around 3 weeks ago and they were all absolutely lovely. When we went to pick up his ashes they wrote us a beautiful card and printed his paw prints inside for us, something we will treasure forever. We have since got a new pup and have brought him here to have his vaccinations and care, and will continue to do as they are a fabulous team, the girls on reception are great! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Would recommend to anyone. Receptionists always helpful. Nurses are very caring to both animals and their humans. Vet was brilliant when I had my dog spade. Always been very satisfied with service and care at each visit. And I get a txt reminding me to administer worming and flea treatments and a reminder when her jabs are due. No complaints at all.

Fantastic experience: The staff are friendly whilst being professional, I have been with this vets for a number of years they always manage to fit my cat in the same day, although he doesn’t like going there ! They are so kind and on every occasion have helped us both, Keeley is the main vet or owner I think and she is absolutely brilliant with my cat. The practice is immaculate, easy to access for disabled clients, and has always maintained COVID precaution measures which has been especially important to me it’s definitely a 10 from me

Fantastic experience: Have both our cats registered here, 1 year and 7 year olds. They've been fantastic with both and give good advice as your cat goes through different stages of life. The staff are friendly and professional, always helping in any way they can. As a pet owner we can often worry about our pets, but the staff do everything they can to reassure us. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I called to ask if they'd put my elderly cat down as he was in so much pain and it was beyond upsetting to see him like that. I called on Monday and they told me the earliest availability was Thursday! No compassion or care that the animal was dying in pain.

The Vet Diana I have never met before but she was excellent, professional, thorough, interested in my concerns as a pet owner and knowledgeable. She also arranged follow up. One of my most satisfied visits I've had with a Vet.

Fantastic experience: From the initial phone call to make an appointment to the actual consultation (on the same day) the service I received for my pet was excellent as it always is at the branch I go to. The staff are always friendly, approachable and efficient whenever I visit and all have an obvious love for animals which shows in the way they treat their patients. Fantastic experience: We have been using this vets for many years now with our dog Bailey and we are very pleased with the service we receive. The staff are very polite, friendly and knowledge.

Fantastic experience: The reception staff were absolutely wonderful from the moment we stepped in. They made a big fuss over my Pup which I feel put him at ease on his first ever visit! The Vet was wonderful and gave him a quick check over before administering his first vaccinations and explained everything really clearly. Overall I'm extremely happy with the service and the overall quality in practice, and am looking forward to returning for the second round of vaccinations!
