Fantastic experience: My Westie Dougal had a discharge from his eye and I made an appt to see the Vet, she was very thorough in her examination and prescribed Dougal with gel . I found the whole experience very helpful and everyone was very pleasant to me. I've been attending Sandyhills for many years. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: Been using ScotVet for past 3 years with champ, they have been absouloutly brilliant. The care plan has saved us money, with visits. Vaccinations and flea and worm treatments included in the plan. Recently champ required emergency surgery, Staff were on the ball and had him sorted swiftly, and thanks to their experience in dealing with insurance companies our claim was paid in full, I can't thank them enough, and Champ recommends them highly

Fantastic experience: I had taken my wee pup for his second vaccination yesterday. Right from the moment he went through the door he was put at ease, girls were brilliant making a fuss which he loved. The vet was great answering all my questions and was really great with Vinnie to the point he didnt realised he had been jagged. Great first appointment which will make it easier getting the dog to go back.

Fantastic experience: Super attention & follow up care via the 'phone recently due to one of our dogs having a really horrible skin infection on his nose. Now resolved. Our two dogs are very well cared for by the whole team. Always able to get appointments quickly. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Had Gunner a 12st Dogue de Bordeaux at Scotvet Sandyhills on Friday a got a clean bill of health although they keep an eye on his weight he just loves the girls and a wee treat. thanks to the Shettleston Team. Highly recommended place to take your pets for great advice and care.

Fantastic experience: After joining the Scotvet lifetime care club my french bulldog Clyde was due his kennel cough drops so took him in yesterday he got weighed, had a full check up got his flea and worming tablet all for the £25 I pay a month great vets great service would recommend joining its well worth it, I can take him as many times as needed with no cost if medication is needed that’s all you pay for.

Fantastic experience: Very caring and compassionate as well as reasonable cost which helps, only Beto have dealt with who send a wee card weeks after having to say cheerio to a fur family member. pets all my life had a few vets and this one is by far the one for us as a family.

Fantastic experience: Daisy is quite nervous but everyone is very calm and encouraging with her. She was having a check-up before getting calming medication before all the fireworks begin. This has been a great help in the past as she used to be shaking with fear. Now she is calmer and goes into her safe place and lies down and is less stressed. Thanks to everyone for being calm and mindful with her.

Fantastic experience: I ran to sandyhills vets in my first week of having a new puppy. I was completely distressed after my little one had diarrhoea and sickness. I was looked after (and my pup was tooby a wonderful girl called jenna, she was so patient with me and my pup. Advised all the right medication and things to follow thru over the next few days. I have to say my pup was back to great health the next day because of Jenna. I registered with sandyhills vet that evening and would be happy to boost about the fabulous care that day from the staff.

Fantastic experience: I took my wee kitten to Scot Vet for her jags and flea treatment i found the staff to be very caring and helpful. I took out Insurance and a Pet Plan with them and will be going there from now on and Im sure wee Daisy will be happy when she pays them another visit. Thankyou to everyone at Scotvet

Fantastic experience: Fantastic vet care from opening the door till leaving our three staffies are registered here amazing care when our oldest had to be pts .. our youngest attends regularly for her ears she loves going to see her vet and our middle boy is very anxious he was great and was allowed to sniff around as much as he wanted until he settled at 12 years old he has became very sensitive to loud noise traffic, banging even the orange walk he hides away ... all vet staff and vet professionals are amazing always welcoming will assist with any questions at all and do anything to settle anxious pets very hands on .. never had a bad visit

Fantastic experience: Maverick had an abscess that needed immediate treatment. The vet was lovely, took her time to make sure the dog was comfortable. He is highly strung but she managed to keep him calm with her empathetic manner. Operation pending so will further update.

Girls behind the desk are always friendly out going and very supportive And the vets who have treated Frankie over the last year all been amazing haven’t had any issues , very informative regarding procedure , aftercare

Fantastic experience: Brilliant service from all concerned my wee dog had an eye problem and the team helped saving his eye,at one point we went 3 times in 1 week it was that bad but I only had to pay for the medication as I pay monthly which let's me take Xander anytime for check ups at no more cost ie £180 for consultation in one week alone seems to have worked back to his annual mot and jags and monthly flea and tick and worming medication lcourtesy of the monthly plan

Fantastic experience: Went along for a follow up visit with our Lakeland terrier,Cruz. The vet and nurse were fabulous with him, he is always a little nervous but they had a fabulous way with them, giving him reassurance. Always really helpful and kind. Receptionist gave me some tips for Cruz regarding a scratch board and how to make one for him to help with his nails. Overall satisfaction with service received and would recommend. Another visit with Cruz, Callum (vet) was so kind and gentle with him. He is really anxious about coming to the vet. Needed bloods taken, Cruz wouldn’t comply so we worked together to get the job done. Worrying time for us as a family as unsure what’s wrong with Cruz, Callum phoned early evening with results and planning action so we wouldn’t be worrying over the weekend. Can’t fault any of the team, from receptionists to nurses and vets, kind and caring.

Fantastic experience: Swapped to this vet a couple of years ago , best thing we did our two pugs love going here even when sick !! The staff are all friendly , professional and very kind , nothing is a bother !! They honestly worry about your pets welfare ! My Pug Pearl got rushed in for an emergency spey this week when they realised she had developed Pyometra ! Called in the morning and they fitted us in for appointment and a couple of hours later she’d undergone lifesaving surgery !! They keep in touch out with appointments by email and phone ! We also have the monthly subscription so don’t pay for the consultations which annually saves us a fortune

Fantastic experience: Our dog has had a few issues recently so we have been attending regularly and the treatment she has received has been spot on getting on top of her issues the staff at both sandyhills and bailliesron are great and always very helpful and patient with us as we have a hundred qustions everytime We asked to see the same vet for continuity during the treatment and callum is class and always helps us feel comfortable as we know our dog is in good hands

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Male vet was extremely kind and gentle with my elderly cat. Blood results were provided by phone before lunchtime next day. Vet listened to me and offered advice. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Second visit with my cat. Vet didn't give much advice during appointment. Quite disappointed actually.

Fantastic experience: On Monday 24th of March, we had to say goodbye to our beloved wee cat of 20 years, Chanel. The whole process of having her put to sleep was made easier by the compassion of the young vet. He was lovely and kind.

Fantastic experience: I took my cat to the sandhills scot vet yesterday for a little operation. Everyone from the receptionists to the vet that took my cat where amazing. The care was fantastic and they all absolutely loved my cat. As you can imagine my cat was nervous but the clam environment and clam staff made him feel right at home. The after care talk also was very informative also.

Fantastic experience: Received the best care possible from Dr. Louise Mooney, regarding end of life Care for my beautiful cat Simba, over the past few weeks. When the inevitable happened, the kindness shown to myself was exceptional along with the tender care given to Simba, allowing him to pass peacefully, lovinginly and without distress.Thank you so very much for your amazing attention.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I came to Scotvet last year for the first time. It was to collect a medication for my pet Indian ring-neck parakeet called Olive. Scotvet were very helpful I must say, and agreed to let me collect the medication myself as I was anxious about bringing Olive in on the bus and to be seen. Since then I have also brought my new guinea pig Pichincho for a consultation. More recently I have brought Olive in to be seen by the Vet and that was very helpful.

I was really nervous about the procedure and the staff were amazing about giving me all the information needed to ease my anxiety. The staff in general are all lovely and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Flint loves to visit the vet. Everyone is patient and kind. Flint is almost 4 and has been going there since he was 8 weeks old. He's never had a bad experience and he's always has a waggy tail when he drops in.

Fantastic experience: Been with this vet for around 5 years or longer. 2 very happy and healthy dogs. 1 dog loves them and another dog is scared of vets but they're so patient with her and calm that it's much less of an ordeal than what her last vets was. I never miss any appointments thanks to booster reminders through the post and and text alerts after you make an appointment. Staff are all so lovely. Thanks for being the best vets!

Fantastic experience: My XL bully was getting a pre op appointment to get dressed government rules the vet was so nice and the reception were petting Nova and gave her a treat after our appointment wonderful calm environment Nova was very happy ❤️

Positive experience: No quibble about the way my dog and I were treated but can't believe the cost The medication given to my dog cost just over £67 but can be bought online for £11:99 with prescription (£25) but I didn't know this and if course the vet didn't tell me 500% mark up shocking £50 consultation fee reduced by£5 for subsequent visits I was told I was paying for the vets expertise I was a nurse for 45 years and nobody ever paid me £50 for less than ten minutes for my expertise The sooner the government completes its investigation of vet fees the better
