Fantastic experience: The staff were brilliant and the vets put us at ease and our dogs were okay and were quick we were there and back home in just over an hour although was very expensive visit but cannot fault the staff who were all lovely and treated our dogs so well.

Positive experience: My dog was injured in a road traffic accident and needed urgent out-of-hours medical care. The service and care for my dog were excellent. However, without pet insurance the costs were extremely high, with each bill reaching thousands rather than just hundreds of pounds. I now have a £7k vet bill, but luckily she didn’t need surgery and should make a full recovery. I’m just grateful I still have her. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Took our dog here after sustaining a deep cut as our vet was closed. Excellent service from reception right through to vet treatment. Costs explained and care for our pup was brilliant. Couldn't fault anything but the cost. £1800 but could have been a lot more.

Fantastic experience: Sadly, we had to rush our old boy in last night and ended up making to decision to let him go. He was seen so quickly, and I just wanted to leave a review to say the vet on duty, Suzie, could not have been more compassionate. She gave us all the information we needed to help assure us we were making the right decision and was so kind and caring the whole time we were there. I think the nurse was called Kelly as well who was also so lovely. A really horrible situation made so much easier by the compassion of the team last night, thank you.

Fantastic experience: Our dog , a much loved 13 year old Labrador, was referred for possible surgery on his airway . He was examined, we were given comprehensive advice, he was admitted , operated on and I received a phone call from the surgeon reporting on the surgery within 3 hours of our arrival in Glasgow. He came home the next day and seems to be recovering well . The surgeon, Donald , was reassuring , confidence inspiring and showed great empathy with Dougie the lab and his owners!

Fantastic experience: First time visiting Vets Now - staff were really friendly and building was really nice inside - they had coffee and water machine - was triage quickly but did have to sit and wait for a while but that was to be expected as was very busy - was seen by vet who explained what he thought was wrong going by symptoms- luckily it was nothing serious- so very smooth visit for us

Fantastic experience: My experience with Vets Now was exceptional, they looked after my fur baby Robbie with love & care. Robbie was admitted on Tuesday night with excessive bleeding from a dental procedure at our own vets. Since we walked in until we picked him up on Friday evening their care for him was totally amazing. They all kept me updated with two phone calls a day & let me know every procedure they were doing. I can not fault the team in any way at all. With their dedication to Robbie, we got him back, when I thought it was the last time I would ever see him. I can't thank them enough for everything they done for my boy. Thankyou so so much to everyone who cared for Robbie

Fantastic experience: I'd just like to say a massive thank you to vets now. My very silly 9 months old raided the kitchen bin and ate 2 hot cross buns this evening. Vets now treated us quickly and efficiently. They gave us a room as Appa is very protective of me and since it was just us two, he's even more so and let me supervise his puking. He was sick the 2 hot cross buns and has came home with a goody bag of what I assume he thinks are treats. Thank you again to everyone who helped him, he really is my whole world and my very best friend. I am so grateful ❤️.

Fantastic experience: We were very happy that this service was available when our dog became acutely ill on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone had highly professional approach; the telephone and reception staff and the triage nurse, and the vet who saw our dog. For us there was a happy resolution this time and it's reassuring that they are there. Expensive, but worth it.

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank the vets enough for seeing my rabbit so quickly and adapting to his needs. My rabbit was very critical with stomach issues and they absolutely prioritised him and ensured he had everything to make a recovery. 3 days later and he’s now eating on his own and thats all thanks to the vets in Glasgow for understanding his needs and helping him. I also can’t thank them enough for taking my calls when I’ve been a paranoid wreck and ensuring me I’m doing the right thing and listening to my concerns and giving me advice and feedback. Fantastic experience: Geoffrey is a 9 year old labradoodle. He had an allergic reaction and was vomiting. My local vet was closed and Vets Now, in Glasgow were around for any "out of hours service". We were seen by Vet Claire. She examined Geoffrey and explained her plan of action. Her communication skills were exceptional. She suggested an ultra sound, blood tests, an injection for nausea lasting 24hours and an injection for the hives produced by the allergy. I think the whole process took around 1 hour. She took time to explain her findings from her examinations and was very patient and answered all of my questions. I thought her interaction with Geoffrey was very natural and friendly, put him at ease, a very compassionate lady. Claire gave me some instructions and we then went back to reception to settle up. I am insured with Animal Friends so it was all very straightforward. I actually visited the practice twice, approx 21.15 Friday and 05.15 Saturday. The first visit, the clinic was packed. We waited for about 1.30 and decided to go home as Geoffrey had settled down. Reception asked the nurse to have a quick look at my him before we left. I was also told if there were any other problems we could return. When the itching/rash became evident I decided to go back. The clinic was empty. Considering how busy this clinic is, everything was done in a very friendly, well managed manner. One gentleman was pretty upset he had not been seen. The staff managed the problem extremely well. At that time around 22.00 there appeared to be 3 receptionists and a nurse visible. I felt that they also supported each other well causing minimal commotion A jewel in the Crown for out of hours support for animals and their parents With grateful thanks

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful vets they couldn't do enough for my mum(Mrs Edna Haggerty) when they put her beloved wee westie Bruce to sleep. The care the vet gave Bruce and us next to none. Fantastic experience: Staff Were Lovely, caring, compassionate and very professional towards our Fur Baby Lottie and ourselfs for the 2 week Journey We all Had. Lottie Loved her Belly tickles and that would have made her Calm on her 3 Night Stay With yourselfs Elena you have been Amazing with us and Lottie. Your Communication was greatly Appreciated twice a day to keep us informed of Lotties recovery and treatments and your manner around us and Lottie has been outstanding and we cant thank you enough. To the night nurses understanding Lotties anxiety through the night in a busy built up area and taking on our anvice to get lottie to potty outside. To the Reception Team for being very efficient and pleasant on the phone with us, when we called for updates or to ask for advice has been very well done. Thank You so much. Lottie is finally on the mend and back to her we self again. Im sure you all wont forget her.

Positive experience: Staff were lovely from greeting to leaving. Very friendly and helpful. My dog was triaged right away and then seen by vet minutes later so barely any waiting. Expect to pay more for emergency care but would not have agreed to antinsickness jag only lasts 24 hours when dog hadn't been sick for £60! There's something on bill (I had to call next day and ask for) about blood donation and would be so angry if they took him back and took blood off him if not and it's just £1 donation then fair enough but should've been asked. Charged for collar that wasn't even the right size for my dog and having gone to normal vets next day, saw the couple 9f days worth of meds were up to 4x the price from the clinic and even my own vet asked if I wanted to buy some myself out chemist as they do same thing at fraction of price so £218 consultation ok fine had to be done but final bill £399 not OK for stupid plastic cone and a couple of days of meds my own vet gave him for much much less so don't see neeed to over charge there as already paid x5 I would for normal vet consultation - surely making enough money from that not to highly inflate the rest and no transparency or option for a £60 needless jag I didn't even see administered. Invaluable service but hope I never need to go back as happy to pay out of hours consultation fees but not the unnecessary hike in costs for the rest. PLUS I send insurance form to them to fill in a just few details and was charged £35 just for that and not even had a courtesy email to say they have recieved paperwork or processed it.

Fantastic experience: We sadly found out Marley had a mass on his lungs at the start of the year by our local vet and were given the impression that nothing would be able to be done about it, which left us feeling devasted. After asking about treatment options , we were quickly referred to the amazing oncology team at Vets Now and saw the team within a week or so. Marley underwent surgery, and Paula was so thorough and explained everything so well and he spent a few nights with the team whilst he recovered, we were kept updated throughout his stay there which was a great peace of mind. He has since been receiving chemotherapy with Pamela and the oncology team who have been great, Pamela certainly knows her stuff and no question is too silly, even when we go in with a million questions written down by two panicked owners, she always answers them so professionally and courteously. The nurses and reception staff are great too, and we're always made to feel like Marley is a wee VIP each time he visits! We are so grateful for the additional time Vets Now have allowed us to have with our boy, and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I had what I thought was an emergency with my dog but wasn’t really thankfully - amazing staff and big shout out to the very kind and professional vet Doc from Minnesota who gave me complete confidence that my dog was actually okay and gave clear instructions on what to look for in coming days. This is my 3rd time coming to this clinic and this place is a must for any pet needing urgent care. Fees were clearly explained in beginning - though I think the service they provide on such short notice and in middle of night is more than fair and very reasonable all things considered. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: We are very grateful for the out of hours care we received after our 5month old puppy was ran over by a jogger and broke her leg. Vet Kaja was empathetic and went through many options with us, including estimate costs for the in-site ortho specialist. She agreed to show me the xray too which I really appreciated. The facilities behind doors looked neat and tidy, and my wee one seemed comfortable cuddling with a nurse. Freya is now recovering from surgery and is doing much better. Thanks a lot

Fantastic experience: Vetsnow veterinarian hospital is a professional,dedicated and sympathetic organisation which has looked after my pet cat and myself.They will sit down with the pets owner and will patiently discuss the pets condition and treatment..I would recommend Vetsnow.

Positive experience: Received great care for my 1 year old puppy by a brilliant vet, my only issue was the uncomfortable seating in waiting area, they were fine at first but after 3 hours waiting my back was in agony, I understand they were very busy with seriously ill animals so the waiting time was not a real issue, also it was fairly upsetting to witness owners of unfortunate animals being extremely upset, I'd suggest an area with some privacy for them to show emotions with some peace and quiet. Although the care provided was first class, I have to comment on pricing as I was over £300 for a puppy who'd eaten way too much mud and was constipated, an injection and some laxatives were just over £80 but just to walk in the door costs £218, that's really expensive and I was lucky I had spare cash otherwise my dog could have been suffering all weekend. The whole industry really needs to reevaluate their pricing as they are making money from our love of our best friends and it's not really right. Yes the vets are well trained but the pricing of all veterinary care is extremely high, which needs to be looked at, out of hours services are essential and I know the hours mean staff are paid more but surely there needs to be a comprise to ensure all animals get the care they need. So with all that being said, I was very impressed with the hospital but I do hope I never have to visit again, only for my pups sake and my wallet.

Fantastic experience: Only place I never want to visit, but on the occasions I have had to come to vets now, I am always delighted with the treatment and aftercare my animals have had. My cat was operated on once and the outcome was amazing and still is. Staff are nothing short of amazing. Where would us pet owners be without all you amazing people.

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend Vets Now more. They are absolutely professional and done an outstanding job of our wee dogs surgery. They made sure we knew everything to do afterwards and have been extremely helpful with any follow up questions we had. For what has been one of the hardest things we’ve done, Vets Now have made it as easy as possible the whole way and I’m sure they will continue to support us through the whole journey.

This was mine and my girlfriends first tome taking our kitten to the vet and it ended up being the emergency vet. we were absolutely terrified (she only hurt her leg, we were being so dramatic) and the staff there were so helpful in answering all our questions, helping us with a financial plan, and talking us through every step of the care. Never once did they make us feel bad about not having our kitten signed up to a vet or not being able to afford it. we genuinely could not have asked for a better hospital to have went to. Thankyou so much team!

Fantastic experience: Staff were very good and thorough with my poorly dog. The only slight issue I had was having to chase them several times for a referral they had to issue to another specialist. Otherwise, they were very professional and caring and therefore I would recommend.

Positive experience: Great triage, vet and treatment. Recommended especially for prompt out of hours emergency. Really, really good except for tiny things that if you are forewarned about... Not so good with paperwork after. Parking was an expensive nightmare. If you visit by car, go with a friend who can park the car somewhere cheaper. Also, insist on a copy of the paperwork. And confirm that they really have your own vets details. I believe they had got my vet details. But the important paperwork was missing.

Fantastic experience: Can't express our gratitude enough to all the staffs empathy and kindness,it was a hard discussion to make to put our baby girl to sleep but the professionalism of the staff was exemplary that gave us time to say our good buy's and when she was put to sleep we were with her to the end. That treated our girl with dignity and respect we were given a paw print and a key ring with a clip of fur the cremation was handled for us and the little touches gave us some closure. Fantastic experience: I took Dwayne in on the Friday afternoon with an incredible worry for his health. He’s only young. Just turned 1. Not even an hour had went by before receiving a call to update me on his wellbeing and the potential steps that would need to be taken. With everything going ahead and the amount of care Dwayne needed the staff didn’t hesitate to keep me informed. I got Dwayne back home on the Sunday and it was so clear how well they had taken care of him. I honestly could not thank the team enough for everything they have done for Dwayne and my family. We were genuinely so worried and the team have shown us that passion for the job and animals really does pay off. Dwayne has bounced back to his normal self quicker than I could have hoped for. I couldn’t recommend the Roundhouse enough or explain how well they handle pets with care.

Fantastic experience: We brought our dog Theo to the hospital two days ago after he experienced two seizures, and despite how stressful and frightening the situation was, our experience from start to finish was incredibly positive. Every member of the team was helpful, compassionate, and professional, from the reception staff to the vet nurse, and the two vets who examined Theo. We truly felt that Theo was in the best hands. The team took the time to explain everything clearly, reassure us, and make sure Theo received the care he needed. We’re very grateful for their support during such a difficult moment. Fantastic experience: I genuinely can’t thank everyone who helped my poorly cat on Friday night. The level of care and support was incredible.The lovely vet ( I wish I could recall her name) who took care of him was so kind and gentle and put us all at ease, helping to calm an already anxious and stressed cat. Positive experience: Arrived at 1.30 by 4am I was still waiting with my dog to be seen. And when asked how long it would be before I would be seen, an approx further wait of an hour or more. My dog had a temperature and was shaking. I decided to leave and go to my vet that morning. There I was seen instantly seen and was told. My pet had a huge abscess on his bottom and a high temperature. The notes came through from Vet hospital saying he had a temperature but nothing about the huge lump. The nurse at vet hospital did take his temperature but obviously did not see the huge lump on his rear !! 10 days of meds and he is back to normal. Don't expect immediate attention if busy. In par with the NHS, which is concerning when they're going to hit you with a huge bill at the end. That's all said the ladies on reception were lovely and very polite

Fantastic experience: My miniature long haired dachshund, Remi, took extremely ill, suddenly after a walk around the park. It seemed that his nervous system was shutting down as he couldn't open his eyes or move his body. He was uncontrollably shaking, crying and being sick. I rushed him to the hospital and the nurses and doctors took him straight away and prioritised his recovery. They found out exactly what it was and nursed him back to health. I cannot thank the nurses and doctors enough for their compassion, Teamwork and level of care they gave to my boy. I trusted them completely to look after my boy overnight, and he came back to me the next day so much better. It turned out he was poisoned by marajuana in something he ate at the park and it was toxic. The team gave him an IV drip, medication and activated charcoal and he has been nursed back to health. I will forever see VetsNow as my heroes because I dont know what would have happened if I didnt have their support. Thank you sooooooooo much. You are all truly amazing. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart

Fantastic experience: I was in a difficult situation being in Glasgow and two hours from my registered vet and needing urgent care. After serveral calls to local vets VetsNow were the only one who made the process extremely easy and stress free. They had me booked in within 5 minutes and seen me within 2 hours. (Probably only slowed by my ability to get there faster). Everyone at every stage was helpful, friendly and welcoming. Hugo went home happy and healthy again! Thanks from us both.

Every single member of the team was warm, friendly and reassuring. The vet explained the treatment plan in detail and called to give us an update later that night. Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my emergency call to Vets Now Glasgow on the night of 15/08/25. I phoned at 23:19 regarding my severely distressed and injured budgie. I was assured that I would receive a call back, but no one ever contacted me. As a result, my budgie passed away without receiving any veterinary attention. I later contacted the clinic and was told that my phone number had been written down incorrectly. While mistakes can happen, in an emergency situation this kind of error is completely unacceptable. It represents a serious failure in duty of care and in the standards expected of an emergency veterinary service. I raised a formal complaint requesting an explanation and details of the procedures in place to handle emergency calls, as well as what actions will be taken to ensure this does not happen again. Losing my pet in these circumstances has been deeply distressing, and I sincerely hope that lessons are learned from this incident.

Fantastic experience: Our Alfie was rushed in the emergency out of hours and before I had even finished checking in, he was rushed straight into ICU. The team immediately placed him on oxygen and, within just six hours, performed life-saving surgery. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication were truly outstanding. They kept me informed and reassured throughout one of the most frightening moments I’ve ever experienced. Thanks to their quick action and expert care, Alfie made a remarkable recovery and was even able to come home the very same day. Because of this wonderful team, our Alfie is now home, happy, and exactly where he belongs. We can’t thank you enough for saving his life and treating him with such kindness and care

Fantastic experience: Staff were amazing and couldn't thank them enough for looking after our Dalmatian puppy Toulouse last night. Called up and was seen to straight away. From reception to the vets everyone was lovely and we were well looked after. Medicine given to help relax her overnight and she seems back to her usual self this morning while she fights a urine infection. Thank you everyone.

Fantastic experience: We had an unexpected visit to Vets now with our Rottweiler Nala when we suspected she had eaten a nail in the garden. We were sent there directly from our local vet surgery. On arrival we were checked in quick and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We were taken quickly and Nala was assessed almost immediately. Xavier was brilliant with us and our pup. He was very transparent, open and honest and we really felt cared for. He explained all the treatments in detail and discussed our options as we progressed through each procedure should it be required. We never felt pressurised regarding the treatment plan or cost and felt that Nalas best interests were always their priority. They are a credit to the profession. Thanks to you all at vets now.

Fantastic experience: Carmen and her team were incredibly professional and compassionate throughout what was a very difficult and emotional process. They made us feel that Molly was in the best place possible, which was a great comfort. Molly survived her illness, but we were conscious that the team were also dealing with pets and owners with different outcomes. From reception staff to vets, we saw them deal with those cases with respect, composure and compassion, without it affecting their professionalism, when they, no doubt, feel every loss acutely. You have a wonderful team in Glasgow and it is a comfort to know that they’re there.

Negative experience: I want to give 2 stars because my experience was mixed. First of all, the reception team on Sunday afternoon and again at checkout were very professional and empathetic — honestly, they deserve 10 stars. My issue is not about the cost; I would pay any price for the health of my family member (my pet). I also understand that clients should know the costs upfront. However, when I arrived and tried to explain what was happening with my puppy, the person who first spoke to me (not sure if she was a doctor or a student) started talking quickly and focused mainly on the price instead of listening. That felt cold and dismissive at such a stressful moment. Then, on checkout the next day, we were dismissed without a clear diagnosis and by vets who were quite rude. They claimed to be pet lovers — and maybe some truly are — but professionalism should come first. You mentioned that most of the costs go to wages; if that’s true, please make sure you’re rewarding and keeping the genuinely caring professionals, because they make all the difference. On our second visit, my puppy was finally helped — but only after we were transferred to another doctor, who immediately understood what was going on and gave us answers. That made me wonder: are you not even a little bit ashamed that we left your clinic the first time without any diagnosis? There are good, caring people on your team — but also others who clearly need more training in empathy and communication.

Negative experience: Staff all incredibly kind and friendly, however we were sent away with our dog that turns out had internal bleeding. We went to our own vets the next day as we really weren’t happy with the outcome from our emergency appointment. Just felt like we were overlooked cause it was clearly a horrible night in terms of everything else they had to deal with around us. Just disappointed as we weren’t advised to take him to our own vet etc, that was us just being uncomfortable. Had we not looked for further help, my dog would be in the worst way right now. Just disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Whilst visiting family in Glasgow, a long way from home, our young Chihuahua pup seemed in distress. One call to Vets Now secured an appointment within 30 minutes. On arrival we had a short wait in the clean and tidy waiting room. A very helpful nurse assessed our pup thoroughly before discharging us. A completely professional and confident service. Excellent.

Fantastic experience: My dog was seriously ill when he was admitted. My vet phoned ahead to let them know I was on my way and he was taken to intensive care as soon as I arrived. I had constant updates and was allowed to visit daily during his 4 night stay. I couldn’t make it to visit 1 night and they emailed me pictures of him for peace of mind. Everything was explained to me all the way through the process and upon discharge the aftercare instructions were very clear. The staff undoubtedly saved my wee man’s life and I am eternally grateful!

Fantastic experience: Our border terrier Charlie was admitted 4 days ago to have a cruciate ligament operation. From when we went there, it was absolutely 5 star from start to finish our consultant/Dr and all staff have done an excellent job. We were kept up to date every day by phone. Charlie was very well looked after and in a very calm happy environment. We are just overwhelmed with the care and work Vets Now have been. We would definitely go back in the distant future, and recommend anyone to go here . The Premises is light airy spotless . Reception staff are lovely. Negative experience: Would not use vets now out of hrs vets basically did not listen when I asked them to put my dog on antibiotics for a serious infection.left my dog for 5 visits fluids only no antibiotics given until my dog was that severe she was dying. Critical care team got on on antibiotics 6th day ,fluids,oxygen to save her life. Unacceptable treatment would never take a hamster near them let alone my dog again. They seem clueless. Quite frightenly clueless the out of hrs vets to the extent I asked the vet if she was qualified. Never never again My bill in total caused by their prolonged treatment £9000

Negative experience: Our dog was just out of surgery when we arrived at vets now. We carried him in carefully and the vet put a lead on him and made him walk. She had no idea he had been in overnight 2 days prior. On collection he pee’d all over the place, but had apparently just been out . We hope we never have to use them again. Also worked our bill out with a pencil and paper!!!

Fantastic experience: My dog needed an emergency opperation and staff could not be any more helpfull aswell as trying to find the best option for us at such a difficult time. They treated my dog like 1 of there own. Very happy. Shes on the mend now.

Fantastic experience: After experiencing one of the worst traumatic situations to happen to our family - when our dog Coco got knocked down by a car in a hit a run - Vets Now gave her the best care and were so calm and understanding. When we thought it would be a very different outcome, they treated Coco and got her back home to us. Thank you very much for all your care and attentiveness.

They were always so kind and patient with me when explaining his diagnosis, and would repeats things as many times as I asked and never made me feel stupid. I felt they really cared about him and had his best interests at heart ❤️
