Fantastic experience: I’ve used these wonderful vets for a few years now, what I love is that they not only treat my cats with respect and compassion, but also the owners the same way. All vets are on the pricey side. But honestly they are worth every penny, and no I’m not rich I save so I can take my cats to the vets whenever they need to go.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was absolutely amazing! Especially Sali, who looked at my very nervous cat, Dibble. Sali was very patient and careful with her.

At 14 years old, Wispa is struggling with both his front and back legs, and it’s been such a heartbreaking and emotional time for me. He’s not just a pet he is my absolute rock, my world, and my best friend. Sali showed such genuine kindness, empathy and understanding, she truly listened to my worries and treated Wispa with the love and respect he deserves. It means everything to know someone cares for him the way I do. Wispa is now on medication that Sali recommended, and I am so grateful for the way she’s supported us. She never makes me feel rushed or silly for asking questions she’s always patient, understanding, and gives me the space to process everything and make the decisions that feel right for Wispa. That means the world to me. Thank you, Sali, for your kindness, your patience, and for always listening.

Negative experience: Should be called "Scam for vets"! Took my dog in for some liquid seeping out his neck, was told by the vet that its hotspot and this is common with dogs with a double coat yet she didnt even check properly just over my shoulder. (Turns out he had a small cut and thats why he was seeping) She then told me she NEEDS to shave around the area. And when it was to much for her said she no longer needed to. She didnt clean the area, so i had to. And then turned around and told me its 190 something pound and if im happy to pay. I told her no ive had to do everything, you've done nothing and she replied with i got the medicine ready. She then told me to wait in the reception while she got my dogs medicine. As i was waiting in reception she quickly dropped the medicine to the reception and ran off back inside and put a note on my invoice "Please dont book in with me I cant control the dog" So ive just had to pay for medicine that wasn't need because of a bad diagnosis of my pup, having to do all the work myself, because the vet didnt attempt to even make any sort of reaction with my pup, other than trying to cut his fur, but proudly said "i prepare the medicine" absolutely shocking!!! Took this up with the branch manager who just laughed down the phone at the matter. And when took it 1 step further, was told to find another vet bcuz of issues with my dog and bcuz of this review. It was already in my plans to find a new vet!!!

Fantastic experience: Last week I was terribly worried about my dogs symptoms on our walk that morning. I called vets for pets right away. I was able to book an appointment that morning and also had the choice for an afternoon appointment. The service I received was top tier from the receptionists to the nurse when I picked her up after her day of being in for ultrasound checks. I was made to feel at ease with phone call updates throughout the day. And, when my dog was ready to be collected the nurse helped me with aftercare treatment and advice. All staff were absolutely brilliant during this stressful time. Thanks again.

Negative experience: Vet for pets is not vets for pets they are more like vets for scams. I took my dog in Jan for an operation to remove a mammary tumor. They charged me over £1200 for the op. They then told me that she would need an x-ray to see if the cancer spread and they wanted an extra £1700 for the x-ray and blood tests. They also stated that they could not read the x-ray so they would send it off. So I went to another vet out of Leicester and they were going to charge me £400 for the same apart from sending the x-ray off as they could do it internally. I went back to vets for pets and told them the price that I got from the other vets and vets for pets reduced the price to £800 instead of £1700. So I went back to the other vets because it felt like that vets for pets is not for the pets but for the money. It's hard to pay the amount of money that vets for pets want when your out of work. Sadly my dog had stage 4 cancer in her leg and a brain tumor and sadly past away. I will never go back to vets for pets as they are scamming their customers and ripping ppl off with there over priced quote. Do not send your pet there the care is sub par and vets do not seem to know what they are actually diagnosing pets with.

Fantastic experience: I have used this Veterinary Surgery since I got my first dog around 2 and a half years ago. They have been incredible with the services and care they have provided. The vets can be an intimidating experience but the team here are so welcoming and knowledgeable. I recommend to other pet owners to have a membership plan as you are able to have prescribed flea and worming treatments alongside other benefits. For how much you will probably use the vets for advice etc especially with dogs and cats, it is definitely worth every penny. It’s also very cheap too when considering your treatment plan will be personalised to your animals needs, for example my dog was switched to tablets as we wasn’t getting on with the liquid solutions for flea prevention. The team are incredibly flexible with the care they provide also. I regularly take my dog here for his nail trims too as he’s so fussy after having his quick cut a couple of times. Recently, a weight clinic has been added too although I am not sure if other surgeries offer this. My dog was very overweight and has since lost a significant amount which will lengthen his life span. It is common for owners to overfeed but the vets are very understanding and empathetic. They have directed me to a more suitable diet and made me become a better owner. Surgery is done here too, my dog was also neutered here. It was done to the highest standard and as a result we never faced any issues. I was particularly impressed by the aftercare offered. This vet is able to take insurance over a certain amount and I have found them to be very patient when waiting to hear back from my provider too.

Negative experience: Took my dog twice for treatment for a lump on her paw and charged me £40 consultation fee for both visits ‘ which wasn’t a problem. When they wanted to charge me a consultation fee for a third visit when the all ready told me on the second what they we’re going to do i questioned this and they said it was procedure. When I called 2 other vets they both said they would have waved the fee for the 3rd visit as they knew what treatment they we’re going to do . I think they are just profiteering on the back of peoples love for their pets .

Fantastic experience: My cat needed vaccination booster after my previous vets cancelled the appointment last minute, registered through the website, had a call back to book the appointment and a month later I went to the appointment. Was seen within 5 minutes of arriving and was very quick and fairly cheap, will be using this vets from now on! :)

Fantastic experience: My boy is now very aware that he is going to be looked over and touched by people he doesn't know well. From the time walked into the reception area to the time we leave, every member of staff looked after his needs, showing kindness, patience and a genuine love of animals. The nurses, vets, and students explained every aspect of benefits, side effects, consequences, prices, alternative and various forms of treatment, also clarifying the risks. Second opinions and advice were sort from other medical team members of the nurses and vets that my boy had been examined by. I felt 100% confident that my woofer boy could not be in better hands. I can safely say that Noel Fitzpatrick has close competition with this amazing group of kind hearted people.

Negative experience: If the vet here had been more responsive & gave my dog IV antibiotics he may have lived! Instead of palming me off with £200 worth of pills which he couldn’t take orally without being sick!! Took him in on the Monday with a swollen paw, which they gave me pills for. then 24 hours later his whole leg swelled up! Took him back next day only to be given more pills! Consequently he died 24 hours later!!

Positive experience: First time visit for vaccine and microchip and it went better than I thought it would. I have a Bengal and he is very highly strung and fast but the vet put him at ease and I’ve never seen him so calm

Fantastic experience: I have used this vets for the last year now and have to say I have never had a bad experience. They have always managed to get my cats in straight away, and have been so nice, from receptionists, nurses and vets. Today was a particularly stressful visit, but they helped my kitten so quickly and helped me avoid a hefty emergency bill by getting me in so quickly. More importantly avoiding any deterioration in my cats health. I really love my cats, and would not take them else where because they have received the best care here. Everything is open in terms of fees, and things thoroughly explained in terms of options and medication administration. Thank you ☺️

Negative experience: I am utterly disgusted with the treatment my poor cat has just received based on a member of staff at this establishment making a judgement on whether we could afford to pay for emergency surgery or not. I am that angry I don’t even want to go into the full detail of our experience with the amount of upset this has caused. My 8 year old son has been unable to eat after having to witness his pet cats eye rupture infront of him without even leaving the vet practice after being told a senior vet had cleared him ok to go home after deferring his surgery for two days as we had raised an insurance claim- even though we had already signed paperwork confirming to proceed with the price agreed. DO NOT register your beloved pets to this corporate machine. They have no care for your pet whatsoever - there are literally no words. I am still shocked by the treatment received here and the prejudice staff making assumptions on affordability. Disgraceful

Negative experience: Unfortunately I am very disappointed with my recent experience. Receptionist is very very rude!!!! I have been using this vets for over 8 years and have never had an issue until now and am looking into changing because they are so rude.

Positive experience: The receptionist that dealt with us was very rude. A lady who then took over told me she wasn't a receptionist but the vets assistant but still no need for the rudeness. The lady who took over was nice but still swap our vets to fosse Park as wanted no dealing with someone who acted as if your not even there.

Positive experience: I'm very grateful for the help for my cat, they managed to see and treat her very quickly the staff were great, Miss Marlowe in particular was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. The pricing could be clearer, they give estimates and my bill was different than the estimate (it was lower) which confused me. When I booked my cat in I was told by the vet she would be released around 6pm, which was fine as I had another appointment but I was called hours earlier and told to get her at 2.30pm which was the same time as my appointment and I couldn't cancel they did let me pick her up later but I had to rush my appointment and leave early because of the change in her discharge and that was a little annoying.

I was offered an appointment later in that day but was so worried that I asked if it was possible for an appointment sooner. I was offered an emergency appointment which I gratefully accepted. As a newbie cat mama I had lots of questions and Pablo explained everything in detail and made sure I actually understood the lingo. Very warm and gentle, made me and my Girl feel less stress and anxious about our first appointment.
