Negative experience: Very cold hearted place showed no compassion for my boy. Joke of a bill got squashed by higher up after complaining.

Fantastic experience: The most amazing place. They’ve taken my cat ASAP as an emergency - the lady at the reception, nurse and vet were all amazing, the sweetest souls. They’ve perfectly taken care of my cat and reassured me that he’d be all good. They’ve been very understanding and supportive of me panicking and crying. They’ve most amazing people.

Fantastic experience: I took my new rescue dog for an appointment. She suffers with anxiety and other issues. The receptionist booked me an early appointment so not to be around other dogs. The appointment was spot on time. And the vet was so patient and understanding with my dog.This really helped. They were all exceptional.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this vet practice. They were efficient, quick, and polite from start to finish. I was seen by a lovely Spanish vet who was incredibly caring and clearly has a real passion for animals. She took the time to listen, offered really helpful advice, and explained everything clearly. The treatment she prescribed is already working, and I feel so reassured knowing my pet is in good hands. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Excellent communication with the team in reception and the veterinary team. They were all so helpful from the very beginning. The vet herself was very polite and listened to my concerns and in return explained things to me clearly. She was very attentive to my Milly Moo.

Negative experience: Be very cautious before signing up to this vet practice. In our experience, the staff have been rude and unprofessional — completely lacking in compassion or understanding. We were on their monthly plan for our Rottweiler, Loki. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen housing issues (we rent), we could no longer keep him. We notified them of this, yet instead of support, we were hit with excessive charges — including £83 for just three flea tablets, which is frankly shocking. Had we been told the cost beforehand, we never would have agreed. To make matters worse, Loki was once given an injection here that made him very unwell. No explanation or accountability was given. We paid everything required during the time we had our boy. Now they’re essentially punishing us for needing to cancel the plan — as if grieving pet owners or those forced to rehome should continue paying for a service they no longer use. So be warned — if your dog passes away, gets stolen, or you’re simply unable to keep them, don’t expect any understanding. What you can expect is a hefty bill and cold treatment. Absolutely awful experience.

I was worried about bellas treatment and leaving her but was reassured they would take good care of her which they did. I was informed of excatly what was exspected and what had been done and what to do going forward. Thankyou monica and team for taking care of my fur baby. Highly reccomended this practice.

Fantastic experience: Just updating my review in February 2025 - we now have our own cat and took him here today for the first time for a general health check. The vet was so helpful, friendly and kind. Big Tommy was scared at being in a new place but the vet was very careful and patient with him. I'm happy to bring him back in future November 2024 - Just took what we truly believed to be a stray or feral cat here and the staff were so helpful and kind and resolved everything quickly and most importantly made sure the cat was well. We intend to get our own cat in the near future and I'll certainly bring him or her here for any medical aid

Fantastic experience: Lovely practice ,staff are very friendly, lovely attitude to customers and their pets , A few years ago my older cat died of cancer and they were so kind and caring and sympathetic towards me ,letting me have as much time as I needed with her after she had passed ,even after they had closed surgery. I received her ashes and they were so kind and supportive Now I take my younger cat there and feel safe in their hands

Negative experience: I do not recommend this clinic. when my beloved dog passed away, I asked for an urn with his ashes, I expressed my request verbally and completed the documents regarding private cremation. Unfortunately, the employees of this clinic are incompetent and made a mistake, and as a result, my beloved dog's ashes will never come home. me and my 4 children are desperate and heartbroken and the case has now gone to the high court.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing practice I had a very very poorly kitten unfortunately passed away but I know they did everything they could to save it they really care about the animals you can tell the vets were lovely really nice and even let me watch them as they were treating what happens if she was abandoned on a farm we rescued her but unfortunately she died due to the complications of the poor condition she was living in we only managed to spend about a week with her until she passed away the vet practice and the vet hospital in Glenfield was both fantastic team I also have another cat who is also signed up to the vet's here thank you

Fantastic experience: Very professional Vets with helpful staff.

Fantastic experience: These vets are amazing. They always go above and beyond with offering lots of different treatment options. They also offer cheaper ways of doing things like giving our cat a saline drip ourselves instead of having the nurse do it. The nurse showed us how to do it and set it all up so we could safely administer it. They don't try to rip you off like other vets I have come across. The reception team are always polite and helpful and try to get you an appointment as soon as possible.

Negative experience: I had only respect for this vets practice until I took the cat for her injections and they gave her a dog booster injection rather than the correct one. Horrifying hey?!? The vets themselves were apologetic and did what they could to look after the cat once the mistake was identified. The cat has been sick a number of times since and we obviously don’t know if the dog booster created any lasting damage. :0( I left the practice under the impression they would cover the costs of all the medicines I received that day (for the cat and our dog) as a goodwill gesture for the stress they caused myself and my niece (it’s her cat) for their mistake. Sadly their customer service is severely lacking so they’re now threatening debt collection for outstanding monies and claiming they did a thorough investigation when they made no attempt to contact me to discuss it. I appreciate vets are human and make mistakes sometimes but their customer service would score zero for compassion and 5 out of 5 for revenue protection over putting the customer first.

Negative experience: Took kittens vet said they are all okay, but stomack was big they said that's okay, and to use flea stuff for 8 week kittens on day old and my kittens I refused and now kitten has died from her stomack ether blockage of some sort.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, never had to wait long. They are always very patient with our dog who is a bit nervous.

Negative experience: My dog had a lump that appeared, i took him to this vets and they said within 5 days you will have the lab results to move forward with treatment this costing me £560 before treatment. After a long week seeing my boy ill and no results back from the lab, i decided to take him else where. Then the vets phoned me after 18 days from my first visit with the lab results which by that time he had already had the surgery costing me another £670. Im not happy with the service provided and wouldn’t recommend this veterinary practice.

Positive experience: My dog is very nervous, so I booked a late slot when it wasn't busy.we went straight in, and everyone was friendly and reassuring.

Fantastic experience: We had to unfortunately put Rosie our dog to sleep last night would like to thank all the staff for her care and the emergency vet at Glenfield emergency centre last night for making it so comforting to say goodbye to her fin will still be visiting and missing his mum massively thankyou all

Fantastic experience: Went today with my nervous dog. Met Gary the vet nurse. He was absolutely brilliant at keeping the dog calm whilst carrying out procedure. He is an absolute credit. He was also very reassuring to me. I hope and pray he is there next visit. There are not many like him out there. Well done on both professional skills and people skills.

Fantastic experience: Excellent vets, staff are very friendly and helpful, very clean surroundings. I was never kept waiting any longer than a few minutes. They are a bit pricey but the care they give makes it worth it.

Negative experience: Just been told that even if I have insurance for my dog I need a minimum of £155 in the bank for my pet to be seen and to make a claim. What a joke, they claim to care about animals but obviously don't care if the animals in pain or not. Really no point in having insurance if I have to pay upfront now is there

Negative experience: Zero compassion. turned up there with my mums dying dog half an hr before they closed. they point blank refused to see her (she only needed to be put to sleep) the vet said we do have a life out of this place totally shocked that a vet MONICA would come out with that. they had half hr to go before they closed so they could have seen and treated my dog but told us to go to Glenfield obviously paying £200 just to be seen, all there interested in is money. The hygiene in the place is also diabolical the cleaner just stands outside smoking when she should be inside cleaning. vile! after using them for the past 20 years NEVER again. also the new receptionist is vile (long dark tied back hair late 40's id say) again ZERO compassion.

Fantastic experience: I've used this veterinary surgery for some years now and the staff are really pleasant and welcoming to pets and owners alike. I've brought my own greyhounds and a couple of foster greyhounds for treatments, medication and surgery (some major) and always received the very best care. Any concerns /questions are thoroughly explained and my mind put at ease. The surgery is lovely and clean.

Negative experience: AVOID THIS VETS - Harriet the practice manager and Natasha in accounts are incompetent and unsympathetic. They are just a money making facility they’re care for animals and owners is no existent.

Fantastic experience: I found a stray dog near by. Took her there to see if she was chipped, thankfully she was so without hesitation they kept her so they could contact the owner. The owner has just called to say he's got her back. Amazing service in an emergency.
