Fantastic experience: Excellent vet practice, very pleasant staff (mostly, see below!) and my dogs have always been treated so well here. Wide range of services available too. Editing the review up to 5 stars, as most recent visits over last couple of years have been excellent.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting the practice for several years with my dogs, they have always been so good with my girls treating them with the upmost respect & answered any questions I may have. I recently had to say a sad farewell to one of my little girls and the vet was so good with us both from start to finish we wasn't rushed and she was so nice understanding & gentle through out the whole sad process. And a few days later I received the most beautiful sympathy card & poem which I thought was a very nice thought.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to share and say thank you for how wonderful the staff were when we very sadly had to put our dog, Poppy, to sleep on 15/01/26. They were so patient, kind and respectful throughout, the cremation service is very well done and the presentation of what we received back was beautiful. The whole tragic experience was greatly softened by the above and beyond care we received. Forever grateful. From the whole family.

Negative experience: Worst experience, took my german shepherd to get his paw treated. The vet didn’t interact with him or even acknowledge him properly. We told her he wouldn’t let her touch his paw so we can hold it up and she can look but she decided to go behind him and touch him anyway! My dog got scared and she reacted unprofessionally . Charged me £59 for a few tablets. She didn’t bring up the vaccine overdue after she got scared of my dog, she was trying to get us out as soon as possible. She gave me backlash about how i should look into training, my dog is not aggressive and he wouldn’t have reacted the way he did if she had interacted with him when we walked in or even listened to us. Horrible experience, showed no compassion or understanding he is only one and in training, it’s unfair that she did not listen to us when we said don’t touch his paw.

Negative experience: BEWARE - ALL THIS PRACTICE CARES ABOUT IS MONEY!!! THEY ARE NOT HERE FOR THE WELFARE OF YOUR PETS! Awful experience with this vet practice. Bought my female dog in after complications with her birth and they supposedly found a dead puppy inside her after scanning Told on the phone consultation was £52 when there was told is would be £70-£80 - after questioning this they then reduced it back to £52 No scan was shown to us but we went ahead with the operation as that’s the humane thing to do. They told me there was 2 options - a c section at £2500 or get her spayed for £750 (then ended up being £800 when looking at bill which I challenged and then went back down to £750) I’m not quite sure why the amounts kept changing from one person to the next??? - I found this quite strange that they even offered me 2 operations as the puppy was ‘dead’ as they said so no c section was needed to save the puppy so why even offer that? They told me her uterus was all looking well and after I said to go for the spayed option they said that this is the best option…why even offer Whilst in her operation they rang to tell me her uterus had shattered as there was a big infection and that it had gone into her intestines. This meant that they had to keep her in to watch after the operation as it was ‘extremely touch & go with her’ they charged us £300 a night for her to just be there, with fluid iv & antibiotics on top of that. Every time I called the bill went up £150-200 even in a matter of 30 mins. They didn’t offer for me to bring her newborn puppies in and didn’t really give me much help on them and what to do with them as they was only 1 days old. We then found out that after her being in there nearly 3 days that the vets that had been there after the operation didn’t realise she had a litter and after trying to keep her in for another night agreed with us that she should come home to her pups. We was told she didn’t have any issues with her milk and that the pups should go straight back onto her…we did this. Whilst she was in there one of the smaller pups passed away - we then rushed another pup the next day into the vets where we said on the phone before bringing him that we thought they had the same thing as the first pup that passed - we thought it was dehydration for them to just rush him out the back into an incubator, feed him glucose and send him back home, where he died the next day. We got charged a consultation fee but we never received a consultation, they never asked us what issues he was having, never ask if they had diarrhea, never asked if he was feeding ok, just told us he was cold and that was that. I challenged this and they told me they went through a thorough consultation out the back before putting him into an incubator… Since then all my puppies have passed with the same situation. I tried to take the last 2 into emergency vets last night and all they was focused on was that it was £250 each puppy for a consultation, I challenged this also and said they don’t need one they have the same as the puppy that went in the day before that I’d already had a consultation for and that it was all the same issues as the last 2 that’s had passed. At no point did they mention that they may have an infection that’s affecting the whole litter, all they cared about was what money was owed and how much was what. So inhumane and definitely not here for any animals welfare. How can you charge for a consultation when you haven’t even asked for all the details which in turn means you cannot treat the animal correctly? And how does other puppies warrant £250 each if you’ve already done the consultation with the previous puppy that I’ve paid for and you didn’t care for the puppy correctly! Which in turn passed Away….and in turn the others have also passed away due to negligence on your side YOU SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES - HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!

Fantastic experience: I had to put my furry baby down the other day. It was a very traumatic time for me but the staff crew helped me to go through all this process. They all were very kind, helpful and understanding. They gave me as much time I needed to say goodbye and after procedure. The lady who performed procedure explained me every single step. She was lovely. The way how she treated my cat was amazing, she talked to her, she was very gentle and looked her time to assest the situation. That was very helpful to me. Thank you so much for everything you did and your support. That means a lot to me. I'm highly recommending this place to all my friends.

Fantastic experience: Had to leave my review here because the on-site feedback client got stuck before completion. The Park Vets were incredible. I called on Saturday morning as my boxer had hurt her leg and from the beginning the receptionist was friendly and registered us with them. We were given a 10am appointment that day and from the moment we arrived I knew it was the ideal place for my Chica. All of the staff are so kind and the facilities are clean and well presented. Once we saw the vet who I think was named Kian - I could see he was so professional and explained everything in a way which was easy to understand. My dog immediately took to him which is very telling as she seems to sense who is a kind-hearted soul and who isn't and we left there thoroughly satisfied with the entire process. I would totally recommend The Park Vet Group to anyone in need and want to say a big thank you to all of you who work so hard in there! Cheers

Positive experience: While overall this is a good vet practice I find it hard to understand why there are no pre bookable appointments and I need to phone on the day. This is what GPs do and people do not find it helpful. I have also checked online from todays date onwards and there aren't any appointments. Having to call back on the day is difficult when working full-time and having a busy family life. I had just found a moment of free time to call. Truly, I do not understand this approach to making appointments

Fantastic experience: Took my German Shepherds puppy to them she had Intussusception and they operated on her. Can't thank them enough for looking after her. Everyone was great Vets kept me up to date with what was happening with her. Just great service from Glenfield, one very big thank you.

Andrew Hill Posted on Google 5 months ago

Negative experience: Took a healthy animal here for transport to Kibworth Wildlife Hospital at their request because they have a partnership, vet said they euthanise because they don't have a box! Euthanising a healthy animal because you're unequipped as a practice is highly unethical.

Susan Merry Posted on Google 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: Kind, friendly service from everyone concerned. Easy to get an appointment to suit my availability. Interest shown in my pet with genuine warmth. I felt comfortable with asking questions and received helpful & knowledgeable guidance & advice.

Fantastic experience: I have high praise for this vets. Last year I received an outstanding service from them as an emergency service for my regular vets. So much so it made subsequent care look substandard and lacking. When I had a new dog I registered here and they are very professional, efficient, friendly and I have confidence in their service. Thank you

Bhavika Chauhan Posted on Google 7 months ago

Negative experience: Horrific and misleading experience at this clinic. On my first visit, I specifically asked at reception if the healthcare plan or charges included the consultation, and I was told no — that it was free and I’d only pay for medication. Later, I found out they did charge me for the consultation, which was dishonest and untruthful. Because of this, I immediately cancelled the plan (well within the allowed cancellation period by email). Despite following their own terms, I was later told I had to pay cancellation charges — which makes no sense. It’s not my fault if they fail to check their emails on time. This clinic is misleading, unprofessional, and not transparent about its charges. I would strongly advise others to be very careful before signing up for their so-called plans or trusting their “free consultation” claims.

Ally Ward Posted on Google 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: Took my cat to be looked at as he had a poorly paw, the vet I saw was lovely, friendly yet professional, my cat felt clam and I at ease, the vet explained everything clearly and advised me on treatment, gave my cat treatment and now my cat is happy and healing well, a very clean and friendly place would definitely recommen .

Do I Care About It Posted on Google 8 months ago

Negative experience: Well rang the vets to ask them to inform the owner their cat had been found. Was told its not an emergency, ok I know that!!! Told to just let the cat outside again. Well due to your we don't care about it the cat was near a main road...... was near the main road . Well now it's on the main road flat as a pancake because you couldn't be arsed to just make a quick call. Now the council will have to scrap it off the road and it's owner will never know, all because you was so useless at your job and could not make the out of hours rip off charges. But bet you not scrap it off the floor or even care about how you could have taken 5 mins out your day.

Negative experience: Taken a long time to write this about this ‘practice’ its vets and managers. My 3 year old boy cat Xander had a bladder issue for just over a day so I booked in here for 6.15pm. They said I might even be able to take him home in a few hours. Great. So a few hours go by and no call so I called them. Keeping him overnight now as not urinated by himself. Ok fine, anything for my boy I said. At approx 6am I get a call from them plainly saying my Xander died at around 11.50pm. He wasn't even in their care alive for even 6 hours! His heart gave out they told me. They said they put him in his cage after the procedure then went back a while later and he was dead! This was on his medical records which I collected. They did not monitor his welfare! On his medical records they gave him Ketaset (ketamine) as part of his sedation. In the Contraindications of the drug it says fatalities can happen. (You can find online) So why use it at-all if there is a risk to life? Why was I not asked for permission? I mean if vets are risking animals lives with drugs that could cause death? It needs to change. I rang them to understand how he died, I spoke to the practice manager who said I had already been told how he died and put the phone down on me. What a disgrace. Doctors don’t treat people that way. The tone was ugly and I was upset I couldn’t believe this was all happening. We had a meeting with another vet and just excuses with no real reason. Thats when we collected his medical records and left to take this further. They wanted £1,000 before we saw him. No we said we want to see him first. He was presented to us with blood over his nose and face. I took photos. I hated what they had done to my sweet loving boy. What had happened? Why did he have blood everywhere on his face? How could they just present him like this? They wanted £1,000 for less than 6 hours of his life and no answers? The RCVS did their investigation. All the ‘vets and managers’ were questioned and had to explain themselves to them. In the end they said no ground for action and while some things may have been missed no action against. So I appealed. In the appeal I focused more on the Ketaset being used and in the end they said it was ‘just below the threshold for neglect’ and that it needs to be ‘far above the threshold of neglect’ for any real action. Ok, some they found in parts should have been done better. Alot better. Then, about a week after the appeal was finalised I get a snotty letter from Park Vets saying I have to pay the £1,000 or else bailiffs will be getting in-touch and knocking on my door if not paid within 7 days. 5 days later i had an email from these bailiffs (wasnt even the 7 days). I got a halt with the bailiffs for a few days. I wasn’t surprised by this vile behaviour from Park Vets. You would think they would feel bad for how they tret me and my boy. But its still all about the money. Also the wrong amount that was originally agreed (got the photos to prove). I mean I caused hastle for them so get they thought they had won but they hadn’t won and wont yet. I got in-touch with those who basically own Park Vets and others. These are called ‘Linnaeus Group’. They were extremely understanding and were concerned by this demanding letter Park Vets had sent me demanding money. Next? They squashed the bailiff’s, they squashed the £1,000 and basically told Park Vets no. They of course stated that it was ‘in no way an admission of any liability but a good will gesture’. Ok il take that by Linnaeus Group and what was said in the appeal by the RCVS. Id take it all back to get him back but it took alot of time and tears over this battle to get any kind of justice for Xander. I fought for him. All I can say now is i hope Park Vets Glenfield have learnt a harsh lesson from all the proddings and telling offs to them by RCVS and Linnaeus Group. Im sure Park Vets Glenfield have been told an eye would be keeping tabs on them. Good. Animals lives matter, and you would think they knew that better than anyone. RIP Xander, my sweet gentle boy xxx

Negative experience: Have been to this vets for many years & never come across receptionist that are so cold rude & disinterested even after change in staff they are the same I recently went for my kittens 2 nd vax & waited at 2st desk where receptionist on phone she did not even look up after 5 mins I went through to cats reception & apologised for being late 15 mins owing to time waiting at other desk explained my husband has dementia & is very difficult to deal with especially if I have to go out was told couldnt be seen unless I waited 2hours or came back was then offered a appointment two days away As I have cancer that is the day I go for check up at hospital so now can’t be seen until weekend ! Kobe Davies Posted on Google 8 months ago

Negative experience: Complaint for vet *1 I think went in explaining the issue and how it had already occurred with dobby (rabbit, 6) and how he has a tooth that over grows and then cuts his mouth. They done their checks and long story short they told me I need to pay 3K for a CT scan and I need to consult a specialist and if I don’t get these things done my bunny will die (“may not last through the night”). I’ve since took him to his regular vet who weren’t open on the Sunday we went. They have said it’s the same issue as last time - dental £400 and job done. Also, this vets prescribed my bunny 26KG of metacam.. if you do a simple google.. FATAL. I had to call and it was adjusted. They’ve done this before with my cat.. you need this or your cat will die and she’s fine 2 years on. Side note: I watched a dog in the waiting room leak 1-2 pints of blood and all that was being done was a mop coming out. And everyone I saw leaving was crying. I will not be going to this vets again. I will drive to Nottingham for out of hours care. I was utterly appalled by the language used to in my opinion scare us into paying for stuff we truly didn’t need. Pure and utter emotional manipulation. I will be in any way possible seeking some way of getting a refund. Sadly I can’t do 0*. AVOID.

Fantastic experience: I came in today to collect my beloved cat, vienna's ashes. Last Sunday I sadly had to rush him to out of hours surgery. My poor old cat,of many years, had fallen very ill. Monica was amazing! She was extremely caring and understanding. She thoroughly checked vienna and agreed that it was time to let him go to cat heaven. Ive been a complete mess since, I miss him so much,he was my little mate and he followed me around all day. Having his ashes back with me today gives me some comfort that he's back home with me where he belongs. Thank you so much monica for being so wonderful and caring. It means alot.xxx

Fantastic experience: The practice has been taking care of my boy cat. Emergency appointment on sunday and overnight care. Everyone i have interacted with has been incredible. The perfect mix of caring and informative. We've called several times for updates and they have been amazing plus the updates we have recieved from them. Hes still there but we were able to come and visit him which as helicopter cat parents we were so grateful for. Genuinely kind and caring. Fantastic experience: Our kitten sadly passed away on the way to the out of hours service they offer and the staff here were unbelievable, from the initial phone call to handling her respectfully. Through to discussing our options and we decided as a family what was best, they even clipped her fur and made footprints for our daughter which was beautiful. Then 3 days later we got a really thoughtful handwritten sympathy card from the team. Couldn't rate highly enough! Thank you for such professionalism

Albina Avizen Posted on Google 9 months ago

Negative experience: I'm really disappointed with the service we received at this vet. They couldn't remove my dog's splinter on the first visit, and on the second, they didn't even try. It feels like they care more about making money than actually helping animals.

Fantastic experience: Visited here in emergency with my girl princess (medium large dog) she was very poorly and it was unexpected aswell, x the staff reception, vets doctors everyone were absolutely amazing! Seen to our dog straight away no time wasted ! Fantastic experience: We arrived promptly, but we thought something was amiss as all the other pets and people went in to their vet.We had wait over half an hour (not that we were worried) until the vet nurse fetched us.But the service we received was really very good.Thank You.

N J Posted on Google 9 months ago

Positive experience: The vets and vetinary nurse staff are really nice and friendly and do their jobs efficiently. However, a major let down of this practice are the receptionists. Most I've met seem to hate being there. I mean, you'd imagine if you are a receptionist at a vet practice, you would at least pretend to like animals. They are always unfriendly, sometimes bordering on rude. I feel anxious every time I have to speak to one. The worst is when I have a query regarding my pets health, and they give unqualified vetinary advice! Sometimes they do go and speak to the vet, but even then, it seems like a favour is being done. I think it is only this branch. Once, I had to go to a practice at another branch, and the receptionist there was lovely. She voluntarily left her desk just to come check on my kitten and offered calming wipes. Yeah.. you can't even hope for that here, because even just a friendly smile is difficult to get... genuinely don't think I've ever received one.

Tracey Pochin Posted on Google 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: Was very happy with the outcome when I had to take my dog to be groomed and dematted as other places I've tried failed to get back in touch with me. Was very happy with the overall service provided and the staff were polite and friendly and explained everything clearly and answered any questions I had.

Keighley Rogers Posted on Google 10 months ago

Negative experience: Receptionist are rude and unhelpful, they value dogs and cats over small animals and they cancel life threatening surgeries with no explanation. Awful vets.

Beata Posted on Google 10 months ago

Negative experience: I recently received a text message from this clinic, registering a pet under my name and phone number—despite never having used their services or registering any pet with them. When I contacted the clinic to have my details removed, I was met with confusion, delays, and a refusal to take immediate action. The receptionist confirmed my details were in their system, but I was asked to provide even more personal information to resolve the issue. What is deeply concerning is how easily they accepted personal information without verifying identity, proof of ownership, or consent. Imagine the potential for misuse, fraud, or even identity theft if sensitive details are stored and shared without consent or verification. This means anyone could potentially register a pet under your name and phone number, and the clinic would store that information in their system without asking for confirmation or proof. This is a serious data protection risk. The lack of accountability, the difficulty I faced in getting a clear response, and the overall experience is very concerning. I would strongly advise potential clients to think twice before using this clinic, especially if you are concerned about your personal data being handled properly and securely.

Fantastic experience: We saw Benjamin yesterday, I’ve met some very caring vets at your practice however Benjamin was exceptional, I would only want to see him in future. He took great care of all of them, was so genuinely interested in them, sat in the floor with them and after such an outstanding level of attention, he uncovered issues they had, updated us in some of their previous conditions and we came away with a future plan of treatments and priorities. He understood our financial restraints and made us feel assured moving forward. Oh and he literally has saved Molly’s life! We are forever grateful, thank you.

Negative experience: PLEASE READ! First of all it's taken me alot to get myself into a position to write this review. The date was 28/10/24 around 1900 of indecent with park vets glenfield. I use a few vets around the midlands but on this occasion my very special dog Sargent (Doberman) stomach dropped out of hours. With glenfield being 24/7 I decided to go to them. Sargent had nothing to eat that day but his stomach dropped after having some water. Imidiatly I knew it was gdv. Sargents brother major died of gdv and his dad, also I've had other dobermans died of this. I know with gdv if you catch it early you have a chance, so to park vets glenfield we went Imidiatly! The vet charged over £600 to see him and an ex Ray, whilst he was having his xray I called reception and said. Sargent isn't just any dog he's very special I own many dogs but he is something else, he's been in films and is loved by many people and we also worked together in the security dog handling industry. When I went back to see him they advised the operation for gdv is £6000 but he doesn't need it, he just has gas and will be fine in 24 hours. I questioned it but she assured me he will be fine. I was extremely happy to hear this news he was going to be OK. 24 hours passed and that's when panic set in, as I could see Sargent was dying. I again rushed him to a different vet out of hours. They looked at the xray from park vets glenfield and said something isn't right with that xray, it looks like a partial gut flip not full and something in his stomach. They gave me the options to do the operation or put him to sleep. I did the operation and said if he's struggling to put him to sleep. I said goodbye to one of the most magnificent dogs I'll ever have the pleasure of owning again and shed my tears. The operation was successful however, due to the fact of how long Sargent went and how long he suffered he didn't respond well to surgery. I had to make the difficult choice of ending the life of something I loved so dearly. If the operation had been done sooner Sargent would still have been here. I listen to the advise from the vet at park vets glenfield and what hurts the most is that my magnificent dog suffered just picked the wrong vets to help my amazing dog. I have absolutely nothing to say to park vets and i dont wish to speak with them. I am in the process of seeking legal action. I'll never be using park vets glenfield again. I advise anyone else to do the same! Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'll forever be a broken man due to this, Sargent is tattooed on my right hand and that shows how much he meant to me. He wasn't just my dog he was like my son. Sargent died on his 5th birthday. I did the best for him from start to finish and that is all I have to hold onto. Update 18.12.24 I asked for sargents records at park vets glenfield to take matter further. On receiving them and looking though it advised they are aware dog had died due to my review. They also stated they didn't think was gdv and that I didn't want the operation. Also that they advised keep there or take home and monitor. Why would I agree to an operation when they have said it wasn't gdv but they actually got it wrong, it was a partial gut flip and clearly something in the stomach which they missed. They assured me he will be fine in 24 hours and to take home and bring him back if needed. I know this as I questioned at the time. I have my own evidence of what was advised. I truly believe they have edited the notes to make themselves look better. Just wow! I've emailed questioning this with still no response date today 07.01.25.

Fantastic experience: Took my cat Skye for her annual booster vaccination. The clinic has a separate section for cats with areas to place your cat off the floor and towels to cover your carrier to make them feel safe. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The vet we saw was Eleanor and I loved how she interacted with Skye, talking to her all the time and making her feel safe and relaxed. I would give 10 stars highly recommended.

Negative experience: We are absolutely disgusted with the Glenfield practice. The customer services team haven't a clue how to talk to customers and are downright rude at times! We have been treated like thieves because of a mistake on their part, which they won't admit too, or even apologise! All they seem to care about is money and that's if they can get the amount right that you owe! We feel we've been sold medicine that's not suitable for our cat all at astronomical rates and cheaper to buy online at 50% cheaper! We've been with this practice now for 17 years with another branch and feel very disappointed and frankly ripped off by these sharlatans. Having read the other reviews, it seems all they're interested in is your money. We are now hoping to speak to a practice manager so I will update you as soon as we've done this. Update: We won't be taking our cat back here, they will be getting no more money from us, whatsoever! Avoid at all costs unless you want to be patronised, ripped off or completely ignored! What an absolute shambles!

Fantastic experience: What an outstanding experience at the Park Vet Group in Glenfield. Plenty of parking and we were immediately greeted by helpful and friendly reception staff, rather than a bank of plastic screens. Nothing was too much trouble and I love that they have a completely separate, well equipped waiting room for cats. A special thank you to Millie, the vet we saw. She explained everything very clearly and I really felt listened to. I can't say that Bubble enjoyed the experience (she never does), but I'm sure she secretly liked the fuss Millie made of her – she sends kitty kisses x x. Thank you to your whole team for a job well done.

Negative experience: I was referred to this vet clinic as my normal vet was due to close and did not have available appointments over the weekend. My cat had a swollen paw and was limping. I rang through and spoke to the receptionist at approx 6:10pm who informed me they had an appointment at 6:30pm. I explained to the receptionist that I would be on my way but it was at least a 20 min drive to the clinic. I arrived at the clinic at 6:40pm and was told I would have to pay for an emergency appointment. Total disregard for the wellbeing of my cat and it appears they are only interested in maximising financial gain.

The Park Vet Group in Glenfield

Thank you for your review and we are sorry that you found that the service was not to your expectation. As this was a weekend appointment all our appointments past our closing times are emergency consultation prices due to out of hours provision at this time. We would always regard animal welfare as the most important part of our roles here at Park. If you would like to discuss this further please feel free to email to us for review at [email protected] FAO Client Care Manager and we will happily get in touch. Many thanks and we hope your cat is doing well.

Fantastic experience: A special mention for our vet called Ariel, and two vetinary nurses, Stacey and Claire who fought for my dog during and emergency on Friday. Ariel is professional, knowledgeable, comforting and was very helpful in doing everything in his power to get my dog through her ordeal so I can't thank him and the girls enough. If not for them I wouldn't have got more precious time with my girl, and she may not have even made it through if it wasn't for their dedication. You could not ask for a better vets or service. The surgery is big, clean and the staff are absolutely amazing.

Fantastic experience: My cat Cairo ws badly harmed by someone and could see he ws getting worse, the vets made an appointment especially to squeeze me in before emergency hours, the nurse and the vets were so thorough and patient I must of took up 2 hours of their time with assessments and scans, medication, they were both fantastic at their job and honest about best treatments even if it ws a cheaper product, I will always use them, even if it cost £5000 to fix him I’d of found the money somehow…thanks guys for being there for us pet lovers, your absolutely fab!

Fantastic experience: We've unfortunately had a very poorly cat who was given a 10% chance to live but thanks to the the vets' intervention and perseverance, she's happy and healthy and her condition is well managed, many months later. The vets at PVG Glenfield are very informative, and always have the pet's best interests in mind. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else after having such great experiences over the past year with PVG Glenfield. Pricing is also very fair and it's very easy to book appointments.

Fantastic experience: Was struggling to find a vet that would see a sick stray cat, but from the moment I called here, I knew I was speaking to people who genuinely care about animals. Had to travel a fair way to get here, but was greeted by very friendly staff who I could see loved animals and would take very good care of the beautiful, but sick cat I'd found. Literally about 10 minutes after leaving the cat there, I was contacted by the practice who had already checked that the cat was okay, and also kindly put me in touch with it's owner. PLEASE ALL, MICRO CHIP YOUR PETS!! I would highly recommend this practice, if this is how they treat strays, I can only imagine other pets must be treated like royalty here. Thank you to all at The Park Vet Group Glenfield!

Fantastic experience: The fantastic compassionate team have worked tirelessly this week trying to save our Harry, keeping us updated with everything + allowing us to visit, they went above and beyond even taking in their own dog to provide a blood transfusion to try to save him. Sadly he didn't make it but we will be forever grateful for all the love + care he received during his stay, special thanks to Hannah and pooch for his donor, we got to say goodbye to him in a quiet room where Millie did a 3D memorable paw print for us. It's perfect + looks like a teddybear paw xx Thankyou for everything Tracy + Ian Hicklin

Fantastic experience: I have visited the practise twice in the last four months. Same pet. Both issues were thoroughly talked through and I felt listened and a part of my pets issues when discussing options. I felt respected for my care decisions and not pressured into spending money or having treatment without fully understanding my options. Ellie is kind but firm vet and her treatment ethics are really good. Thank you reception and surgery staff who all remain professional but friendly to both animals and the public .

Negative experience: My experience with our three cats under their care has been of concern over the hit-or-miss Evaluations , and of acknowledged overdosing two of my cats , and of mixing up the tracking microchip numbers on two of my cats, and of dispensing the wrong medication to another cat. I feel their reliance on apparently unsupervised trainee or low experienced vets have repeatedly put my pets in danger. I wouldn't recommend this Vet service.

Positive experience: Excellent clinicians who provide quality advice and care. They just need to keep to their appointment times - the waiting times can be far too long especially when you have a pet that is very anxious. A bit pricey. But the quality of the clinical care outweighs these issues which is why we have continued to use them over the last 10 years.

Fantastic experience: Update - June 2024 Took my cat Noodle to Park Vet as he has his UTI problem again, vet was so good with noodle, checked him through and had a chat with us, recommended some supplements as well as give some painkillers when he needs it. Vet was very understanding about his weight issue too, rather than shame us, she suggested to keep him active with toys as he’s an indoor cat, obviously gets less exercise. This time, the vet divided half to dog waiting area and half for cats, think it’s a great idea. They also have some areas for cats to “hide” and blankets to cover them if they are too nervous. My noodle didn’t need this facility but it’s a brilliant idea for some nervous cats. Overall, great experience with the vet and all staff. Thank you ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Visited Park Vet last Tuesday as my cat (Noodle ) had a problem with his eye. Staff was polite on the phone, instruction was clear what to do as COVID situation. Vet (so sorry forgot his name) was absolutely wonderful, friendly, caring & professional, he’s so good with my Noodle. Vet bill is reasonable. Noodle’s eye was a lot better after using eye drop for 2 days, of course we will carry on with meds til end of the course. The place is very clean, with hand sanitiser in many places. All owners & pets wait in car park and only go in when vets / appointments are available, and it’s an one way system. I have heard good reviews about this vet, and I now can confirm they are good.

Negative experience: They miss diagnosed my dog without even examining her. Told she had epilepsy and when I phoned about the medication because she was getting worse was told we had to pay another £220 just to get advice. She was later diagnosed with diabetes but she was too ill by then and had to be put down. My partner was angry with them on the phone and now they won't even talk to me. How would they feel if it was there dog...was told by another vet that if treatment had started when we took her in she probably would have been ok. We didn't sleep for 5 days because our little dog couldn't stand up...we had to hepl her do everything. We are broken because she should still be here. We were telling her to fight and she did so hard but it was useless because she wasn't getting the correct treatment. Please can you call...my partner apologies for the way he spoke but he is beside himself with grief...and he's blaming himself for not acting sooner. We miss her so much because she would have had a chance but that chance was taken away from us by the vet who couldn't be bothered to examine her. We borrowed money and my partner sold his PlayStation so she could get the drugs sooner but what was the point...she wasn't getting better because of the advice your vet gave us. Please phone...I beg you

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment here with my German Shepherd who’s nervous at the vets! The Vet here Emily made us both feel at ease and worked with us to help blue to have the best experience he could, I wouldn’t say he loves the vets just yet but coming to the Park vet group in glenfield and meeting Emily has got us off to a positive start and made us have a better relationship with the vets. All he needed was a nice vet to tell him he was a good boy and he got it here

Fantastic experience: Receptionists are polite, knowledgeable and listened to my concerns before offering a same day appointment, despite being very busy. Practice is convenient with good parking. Was welcomed upon arrival and, although there was a short wait (due to how busy they were), was seen relatively quickly. Vet listened to my summary of position/issues before clearly explaining her main concerns and the treatment options (including likely costs). Annabel in the hospital was truly brilliant, using her initiative to tempt my pet to eat, thereby avoiding the need for sedation and scans. She then explained the situation and recommended revised course of treatment very clearly. Can't thank her enough, a real credit and asset to the practice

Negative experience: I had been with The Park Vets Scraptoft Lane for 15 years & all the staff there are great. One of our cats has epilepsy so is on regulare meds which are paid by Petplan. Due to "new systems" - mainly insurance claims I left September 23. My last claim I waited 7 weeks (& 4-6 prior since the "new system") they are now done offsite by an "Insurance manager" at the Saffron Lane branch. Who I found to have a surly attitude when chasing up claims.....I emailed the Practice Manager re my concerns as I was upset by the way I was spoken to & the time I had to wait for my claim. In short I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously so after a lot of thought changed to a different vets. My insurance claims are now completed & paid within a week, & they meds are nearly half the cost what The Park charged me. Your new systems are not customer focused anymore.

Fantastic experience: I have been using the park for 30 years and in all that I only had one vet that had attitude so I just avoided seeing that person. I only have good things to say about this practice I know it's expensive but they have always been great and sorted my pets out and those who do complain about the price my advise is get pet insurance.
