Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to Luke, Jo, Evie, Sara and the rest of the team who were so helpful taking care of a stray I found. They were so loving and caring towards him and helped get him check out so he could get the help he needs. Fantastic experience: My dog has historically been very nervous when visiting the vet due to a previous bad experience (former vet; we changed to BBB last year). The staff are friendly and warm and the vet we see is so very patient during consultations, which helps her enormously!

Positive experience: My cat wasn't eating. He had bloods taken. He had various injections. Came away with tablets and fluids. Cost £511. No clear outcome. The vet didn't have a clue, could be this, that...f I wanted further analysis of the blood - extra £200+ I returned for a check up 2 days later - another £60.50. Shouldn't the follow up care be included?

Negative experience: Giving unnecessary vaccinations, only interested in making money,i will NEVER use this practice again.Got quoted over £300 for Titre test, when it should cost no more than £85 and they tried charging me £64 for talking to the vet for 10min about vaccinations, i refuse to pay and got told it will be chased...good luck with that one,you don't even deserve 1star

Positive experience: We went here with my husband and I for a yearly check on our dear cat , it's accessible and easy to find , the vet doctor were good same as the front desk people however it's just a minor thing that front desk didn't check the prescribed medication instead of us getting 2 and it's late for us to see that we only got 1 in a sealed box and it's long way drive for us to go back .. They could have done a lot better and save the customers time by double checking every little thing other than that everything went well and our cat is happy.

Negative experience: Very disappointed, I had two puppies to vaccinate and to do the microchip and been charged 325 pounds after I’ve been told that would be 105 per vaccine and per microchip for each Puppie over the phone, very unfair. A month ago another vet charge me for another 2 puppies (vaccine and microchip) 148 pounds, 325 pounds it’s more than double in this case.

Negative experience: Arrived 15 minutes early and been told that my cat doesn’t registered there even though the email stated that me and my cat is registered in there. Took a day off to make sure my cat got sorted. The lady on the desk make it sound like the fault is on me that I came to the wrong branch, which is unacceptable and quite rude since the email I got is a proof of that. The only good thing is she managed to request appointment in the other branch which is in the other side of the city and is quite hassle to get there because of the distance and there is an repair on the other place so the parking will be a nightmare. Please own it if you made a mistake, that’s the point of the customer service. Don’t make it sound like your patient made a mistake and make us feel bad about it. My cat is already stressed, me and my fiancé also struggle about it, but please please don't make us feel even more worse with trying to put the blame on us. I really appreciate that you manage to get the appointment sorted in different place on the same day. Thank you for that. This review is for the service from the front desk customer service and the system, not for the vets since this is my first time there. Hopefully the service in the front desk doesn’t reflect the quality of the vets for Daisy.

Negative experience: I don’t even want to give this Veterinary practice a one star . I am deeply disappointed with the level of care and professionalism at this veterinary practice. My experience has left me questioning the clinic’s commitment to the well-being of the animals in their care. During our visit, it felt as though financial gain took precedence over genuine concern for my pet’s health and comfort. Following treatment, my pet returned visibly distressed, unclean, and lacking the compassionate handling one would expect from a dedicated veterinary team. It is disheartening to encounter a lack of empathy in a profession centered on the welfare of animals. I would strongly urge others to consider alternative options for their pet’s care.

Fantastic experience: Very caring service for care of Bella (cat). The vet was gentle and excellent at keeping her calm during treatment. Cost was very reasonable unlike another vetenary practice nearby that I thought were very excessive in their cost of treatment. Through my experience, I would 100% recommend.

Positive experience: Lovely people! The staff are so friendly and I love the monthly pet club which pays for all the regular vaccines, flea and worm treatments! The only thing is I got told I had to book appointments to pick up prescriptions when really another person a few weeks later said I can just come and collect it .

Fantastic experience: I was able to get my new catlet in for a checkup within about a week of getting in touch, which was a good start. Staff were all lovely (and said how gorgeous my cat is, but that's beside the point). Easily accessible with a car park that looks like it should be plenty big enough, even at busy times. Didn't smell bad, which was nice. Maybe vets don't these days, but I thought it worth mentioning.

Fantastic experience: I've used them for thirty five years..Always been impressed . kind..compassionate..always so well trained and professional..the current generation of vets..nurses..reception staff and all..have the perfect blend of the practices traditional quality of care and service and have embraced the modern diverse world so sensitively and they are always on the crest of the next wave of veterinary medical innovation..when I ran a pub many years ago they would treat the dogs of homeless who occasionally turned up..i always offered to pay..would have had a whip around on a busy night to help but Mr Bell always refused..Im sure he is proud of how the Bell..Brown and Bently legacy is today

Negative experience: This is my honest review of my recent experience with this veterinary practice. I brought my Amazon Parrot that had a serious chest infection. The receptionist was friendly, the female vet appeared to be seriously concerned about the parrots condition. She took it into a back room to put the parrot on oxygen, i waited outside for approximately 25 to 30 minutes. I was called back in and the vet told me the parrot had a bacterial infection caused by a parasite after viewing a fecal sample.The vet prescribed Baytril oral antibiotic to be given twice a day. The vet had also given my parrot a dose of Baytril antibiotic by injection, however i cannot confirm this because i never observed it. The whole consultation took in total 30 to 40 minutes at the most. I went to pay for the consultation and medication and was shocked to see i was charged a 'whole' hour of oxygen use for my parrot. Come on now this is totally unfair. Furthermore i was told to put the Baytril antibiotic in the parrots water dish so the parrot would take the medication. The problem here was the parrot could hardly breath let alone drink. The next few days my parrot got worse, the breathing was heartbreaking to watch, worse my parrot was sneezing/coughing constantly 24/7 at least every ten seconds. I hated to see my pet in such distress, i took it upon myself to adminster the medication directing into the parrots mouth, hoping things would improve. The vet did telephone a couple of times but by this time i realised the vet was out of her depth regarding parrots, she meant well but was at a loss. The vetinary practice telephoned me again on the third day to now advise me to collect a fungal medication, but not at their practice because they didnt see it practical financially to hold such a medication. The medication was a common fungal medication used mainly in cats to cure ringworm, however it can be used on parrots. I was directed to collect it at a Vet4Pets store locally. I was told that it would be ready for collection when i arrived at the other vetinary practice. However when i arrived at Vets4Pets i had to wait for a whole hour because this veterinary clinic didnt seem to bothered about its customers. The excuse they used was they had an emergency arrival, however i had arrived at a empty reception a good 30 minutes before any emergency arrived. Furthermore this other vetinary practice had its vets chatting and laughing relaxed with the reception staff right in front of myself whilst i just sat there watching. I meanwhile was not knowing if my parrot would still be alive when i got home. That evening i administerd the fungal medication directly into my parrots mouth. Sadly the next day my parrot passed away in the evening, still gasping for air, just as it had done at day one. It was only at the end that i realised my parrot was suffering from the fungal disease Aspergillosis. Antibiotics will not work on this fungal disease at all. The fungal medication i had finally been prescribed at day three, that i had to collect and wait for an hour for whilst my parrot was suffering, had been prescribed far too late even to help alleviate the parrots suffering. During the evening of day four my parrot passed away, still gasping for breath just as it did in those first minutes of day one at the vets, however in a far more distressed and frail state. Now please dont get me wrong, i know Aspergillosis is basically terminal, at best it will be a reoccurring illness for my parrot, that my parrots condition couldn't really be improved. However if the vet was knowledgeable of exotic pets that includes parrots she would have realised prescribing Baytril was useless for Aspergillosis. I was given false hope, if i had been told the truth at day one i would have ended the parrots suffering immediately. So i basically paid for a consultation fee, fecal sample diagnosis (that was wrong), antibiotics that were never going to work, both orally and via injection, oxygen use for an hour? Much worse my parrot suffered terribly. Like most vets of today its all financial

Fantastic experience: Rang around a few vets trying to register a new arrival to the family (puppy) with no joy. Rang Bell Brown & Bentley straight in no issues. Staff were super helpful and friendly and you can tell that everyone there loves animals. Nice and easy access to the reception, clear areas for cat owners one side dog owners to the other (genius move) Highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Despite hanging spent thousands here over a 10 year period on my dog with many inconclusive tests, I went through a patch of being unable to afford the monthly blood tests for my dog and the vet agreed I could get the blood tests done elsewhere and just go there for meds and treatment. The same blood test was about 40 quid cheaper elsewhere. My dog had not needed treatment for several years and I called to ask about euthanasia and some tests as my dog is very old. To be told they are not taking on new patients and only have time for their regular patients. I'd say the fact she had emergency surgery amounting to thousands in 2019 and monthly blood tests, skin scrapings, ear surgery, monthly flee and worm treatment until she got too old to go to the park, pretty regular. But it's not enough for BBB VETS. Samples from my dog have been used from this very vet and sent to be studied as David Bentley had never seen such results.

Fantastic experience: Good service nice polite staff, excellent vets and a very thorough examination by the vet (Gill) really care about your pet. Wouldn't change from the practice ever, have been using BBB for 30+ years

Negative experience: My elderly cat took a drastic downhill turn, and I knew it was time to say goodbye. I rang the LFE branch (having dealt with them over the last year). The girl on reception told me to bring her immediately (within the next 15 minutes) so we could euthanise her. I explained I was alone, and that it would take me at least an hour to gather her lovingly and have some time with her. I also wanted my partner to have some time to say goodbye, and he was at work. Her attitude was absolutely disgraceful as she said 'well just get your partner to drive to the clinic to say goodbye, as we are really busy today so can only get you in now!' I've never been so upset! I wouldn't mind but I've been there lots of times over the year and they make me wait! I don't think I've ever been seen on time. So upsetting for goodness sake are you heartless? Anyway, we said goodbye to our beauty having contacted anothet vet, and she came to our home within a few hours so we had time to say goodnight to her our way, and my lovely cat died peacefully in our arms.

Fantastic experience: Our vet knows our cats well and takes time to make sure they, and we get excellent care and support.The reception and nursing staff are generally welcoming and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I needed to make an appointment urgently and I was pleasantly surprised I could get one to suit my needs. The vet explained in great detail what the problem was with my cat and treated her immediately and gave us treatment to take away. We were very happy with our appointment

Fantastic experience: Excellent Practice with very caring staff. Our Scottie was totally relaxed when being examined today. Clear, consise advice was given by knowledgeable and caring staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
