Fantastic experience: All the staff and vets are so kind and understanding and extremely helpful. You are listened to and never hurried. It's a really calm atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Losing Bear I was deverstated and I was given 5* treatment, especially from Vineka, who I have never heard a bad word about. The staff remember your pets name, are friendly and caring. It's a great vets for pets and humans.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic staff, reception staff, veterinary surgeons and nurses are all lovely, they are welcoming, friendly to the humans and to our cats. Clearly all animal lovers. Everything is explained clearly. Everywhere is clean & smells clean. They have a little quiet area for the cats.

Negative experience: This vets group messed me around and wasted so much of my time. I would not recommend to anyone looking for an efficient and organised vets practise. I had booked an appointment with the vet for my dog’s worming tablet and pet passport sign off so we were ready for travel overseas. Closer to the appointment date I was contacted by the receptionist that the vet I had been booked in with was not qualified to administer the treatment and changed my appointment time to see another vet at the practice. I then received another phone call on the day of our appointment instructing me to travel to another Park Vet Group practise outside of Leicester as the Vet onsite did not have the stamp required to sign off a pet passport. This new practise was now over 30 minutes away from where I was staying. This totalled over an hour of driving for me. I will not be returning or using this group again.

I was kept informed about my cat .upon collection I brought up to speed on what to do over next week . Fantastic experience: Excellent vet surgery - great staff from reception to the vets. Understanding, respectful and caring towards cats. We have been really impressed with the overall service here, and have even had vets trying to help us with longstanding issues that flare occasionally, so we didn’t have to keep coming back. Much better than the Glenfield branch who we’ve used a few times for emergencies - they are not transparent, whereas scraptoft lane are!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Vets.. They really go out their way to explain your pets problem.. Very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The vet is truly amazing, patient and will go out her way to help you and your pet. The receptionists are so kind and compassionate. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for the help and kindness they shown me and my sick sphynx kitten.

Negative experience: I do not recommend the park vet group at all. Iv been using this vets for over fifteen years with family pets. I booked an appointment for my dog with concerns about his health with him nearly being twelve loss of appetite, not happy vomiting diarrhoea, swollen stomach rapid heart beat. The vet told me my dog was playing me I was over reacting. If I was concerned to book an appointment for an ultrasound. I made a complaint and of course the lead practitioner of this practice investigated and I knew I’d get fobbed of. Apparently it’s not in their nature to send a dog to out of hours for an X-ray if you have concerns. I’m sorry but I do believe the owner knows they’re dog best, which goes to show because two days later he died in a very horrible way. His health was going down hill and I believe they failed and left a dog to die and cruel and painful death. Not to mention the Glenfield practice didn’t do his paw print that I requested on his enthusiasm. I had to chase it up several times. Not to mention this stress and upsetting time this has caused me. I would never use this vet group if I was to get a dog again. For a nearly twelve year old dog the check up he received was appalling. Don’t get me wrong in his younger days for minor things the vets were good but for a more serious appointment I was appalled. I mentioned at rest his heart beat was rapid I was told because my dog was in the vet he had an elevated heart rate, I mentioned several times in one appointment his heart rate was elevated even at rest. I left the vets thinking my dog was fine only for me to wake up Thursday morning to him having a seizure, completely out of unresponsive. After out of hours did a scan he has internal bleeding and cancer. He shouldn’t of been left like this because as an owner I wasn’t listened to.

Fantastic experience: I have 5 cats and all are registered with park at scraptoft and I think they are amazing. I have always been able to get an appointment, I also used the emergency vet and again the way they treated my pet was fantastic. The reception gave me a blanket with calming spray to settle my baby and were so polite. The vet explained things the way I could understand and was open to my suggestions of starting with the least invasive first for my pet. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and even strangers if asked I can't praise them enough

Fantastic experience: I use the scraptoft lane branch. Spotless. Good parking. Reception staff couldn't be more helpful. Been 4 times now and always get swift, informative, reasonably priced service. It's obviously a happy place, well run and trustworthy. When I needed a prescription treatment (my dog won't tolerate spot-on), they advised me to get the prescription from them but not the medicine because it was cheaper online. I won't be using anyone else.

Fantastic experience: I have just done an update on my previous review posted and it went AWOL! Anyway, as promised - if the lead vet at this practice managed to change the procedures at the point of euthanasia for pets, consultation, form filling, double checking etc that I would change my review back to what this practice deserves for the medical care of your pets. This I have done. I'll give it 5 stars. Great vets, always available in emergencies, great receptionists. Wishing Park Vets all the best for the future from me, Dawn and Sheba. Thanks for looking after her while she was alive. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: This would have been the 2nd time I have used park vets as the first time was in July with my poorly cat who sadly had to be put to sleep and the vet was so understanding and this is why I've registered my new pet with park vets they have the time and understanding to help

Negative experience: VERY POOR NOT RECCOMENDED Took our cat in for renal check including blood profile.. No proper check given. Weight only. Then bloods. Not happy at all.with exam and blood results booked into Glenfield. Full exam.given. Found heart murmur. Fluid in tummy. Full blood profile done. Vet so concerned admitted to hospital within the hour. This was only one week later. First exam 6 June 2024. Put to sleep June 24 2024. Gutted. Complaint made . No action taken on vets negligence.

You feel so relaxed and it has a “warm vibe”. Romily was really happy being there, it’s nice to have an area to walk your dog(grass). Fantastic experience: Took my cat for his annual check up and vaccines this morning. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist as always. We were seen by a new vet, Kian, who was so lovely to both my cat and I. My cat is usually nervous at the vet but was very calm with Kian’s gentle approach. I was really happy to see my cat so relaxed when getting checked and appreciate the advice and reassurance given to ensure he stays fit and healthy. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice as I have been taking my cat here for nearly 8 years with no issues.

Fantastic experience: My puppy had a medical emergency yesterday after a rare reaction to her jabs,the minute I walked into the practice she was taken immediately to be monitored and treated. The vets,nurse and receptionist allude sure I was kept updated as her treatment was being administered. It was an extremely worrying time for myself,however they dealt with her medical issues and thanks to them shes here next to me chewing my phone as I leave this review I will be forever grateful 3 years ive been registered with scraptoft Park vets and I wouldn't consider anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this vet for years. Receptionists are lovely. The vets are thorough and explain everything so well. My dog has lots of problems, so she's a regular, unfortunately, and I've always come away feeling satisfied! Wouldn't go anywhere else =)

Negative experience: Polite warning If you have booked an appointment with park vets in advance (we did in October 2022 for 7th Feb 2023) make sure you take the letter confirmation with you. If you don't and you phone the day before to confirm everything is still okay to go ahead as arranged, you get told yes and confirm all the details. Then turn up in the morning of the day of the procedure to be told you don't have anything booked and needed to see written confirmation that it had in fact been booked, despite being told by them the day before everything was okay. (Luckily we had the letter on us) Please also be aware that when they book the appointment for you and provide an estimate for the procedure it is only valid for 3 months. They don't make you aware of this when booking and only inform you when you bring your pet in on the day and time of your appointment. (An increase for us of £130) They also request you to sign a consent form to make sure you agree to the higher price. Which they don't tell you to take your time to read. Instead you have to sign before the procedure can take place. They require you to speak up and tell them you need a few minutes to review or discuss it with someone else. These are some of the things that I wish we knew to make the process less stressful than it needed to be for us. We have been with park vets for a number of years and had raised this with them to hopefully improve the process for others however are disappointed with how we were treated.

My family are heartbroken, but the vet and the receptionist at the scraptoft surgery were so kind and compassionate towards us and (most importantly) Roxy. They allowed me to spend all the time I needed with her, they were so reassuring and explained everything to me. They listened to what I wanted, even though I know I was waffling. Thank you xx
