Fantastic experience: I have not actually been in this building however I recently took my cat to vets4pets and they were exceptional, I have therefore given a 5 ⭐ review.

Positive experience: Flea and tick subscription £15 a month , but you have to remebr to call and ask them to order it because "we have a lot of pets so we wouldn't be able to order it all our selves" . You then call to order it and they don't even text or email say uts arrived so you forget for another week the vets then selves for other vet bits are amazing , and the flea treatment is the best I've ever used . Love this vets but they need to sort the subscription out , I get it makes then money because you forget and end up paying more but it does make me look at dofferent vet options

Fantastic experience: I took my cat there, and even though I was late as I'm new to the area and got lost , they dident make me feel bad we went strait in, the vet was really good she new roughly what was wrong with her as she hasn't had test bust gave her what she needed and it wasn't over price, I always took my cats to pets at home with are over priced and not as good, I'm takeing her back next month and hopefully I'll see the same vet,

Fantastic experience: We always have the best experience at hill lane vets4pets. Our vet Sandie is always brilliant and caring and compassionate. They take a £30 deposit for all appointments which is understandable and their pricing in general is very fair. The reception team are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this vets!

Positive experience: Very lovely vets and nurses but extortionate prices

Fantastic experience: Took my dog in for nail clipping, warned the nurse he could be a pain and would need 2 to hold him. Sure enough they could only do a couple of nails and said he would need calming. They gave me some medication and to bring him back in a week having administered the meds. Worked a treat so future manicures will not be a problem. Excellent service and care.

Positive experience: Very relaxing atmosphere and lovely staff. They were very helpful when we had to rush our cat to the vets, and they're very understanding and patient. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: The vets are always kind and treat my cats like they are the only one they've ever met, so they are fussed over and treated really well. They listen to me as an owner and i feel comfortable with their handling and trust them to make the correct diagnosis. Great vets!

Negative experience: Really bad service in general, not welcoming at all

Fantastic experience: Love these Vets. I moved away from them once and it was such a collosal mistake. Our cats are treated with genuine care and they take their welfare personally every single time. They even stepped up against my crafty insurance company that tried not to pay out which honestly blew me away as I never expected them to go that extra mile, and I was truly grateful to Emma for her help there! Today I saw Nicola after it was recommended I come in asap with Koda, Nicola saw to Kodas needs beautifully. She was absolutely brilliant. I felt like my concerns were heard and Nicola addressed everything raised. We walked away fully equipped to take on Kodas UTI, having his sample checked in house. Thanks Vets4Pets Hill Lane!

Fantastic experience: Have to say this is the best vets I’ve been to! Always scary to register with a new vet, but every appointment has been so wonderful. Nicola is a fantastic vet - we always feel comfortable with her. She’s knowledgeable, kind, empathetic and friendly. She always puts your mind at ease and if there’s an issue, she raises it in a very calm and clear way without judgement. The nurse we saw today, Ruby, was absolutely delightful. She made us feel very calm and informed about an upcoming teeth cleaning, whilst also being extremely kind and sweet. Can’t thank her enough. The staff here really do love animals and it shows. The staff on reception are lovely too and always happy to answer questions. Overall fantastic experiences here, I would recommend to anyone :)

Fantastic experience: Thank you for treating the stray cat we brought to you yesterday (without charge). All of the staff we saw were very friendly and helpful, and we were given pain meds for him for seven days. Much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant staff who are very accommodating to even the fussiest of pets. My dog is absolutely terrified by the vet to the point that he is shaking just from the car journey since he knows the roads near the vet. The vets are brilliant and will come and treat him in the car. They have given him treatments that have massively improved his quality of life and don't push anything unnecessary on you. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: We are Vets4Pets registered members with our kitten. Whilst in Southampton we needed emergency veterinarian care, as our kitten got into a fight with a rat. This Vets4Pets veterinary practice declined us, stating they had the availability but it was not our local registered practice. We persistently mentioned it was just for emergency care and a one off whilst travelling. After coming back from checking again with her colleagues our emergency treatment was again refused for our poorly kitten despite being registered and the practice having space. Our local vet, after travelling 1 hour was surprised and disappointed, as were we.

Fantastic experience: First time there with my little kitten, great experience. From the reception staff to the doctors everyone is lovely, professional and caring with the little furry ones.

Negative experience: Sad that policies ate more important than pets. My dog suffered after catching fleas from a squirrel, all over his face. I explained we had to travel home and weren't registered due to not living in Southampton. Due to insane traffic we didn't get home as quick as normal. I do understand rules, but not at the expense of an animal suffering

Negative experience: I seems to very unlucky here as it appears i never provided the full information from the Vets and stuck with a larger than expected bill! They advised i could claim through my insurance however did not confirm until after the operation that it should have been preapproved... i had spoken to them on 3 different occasion prior to the operation and not once did they advise this. Very poor customer service. Also forgot to email pre op paperwork, i had to request this.

Fantastic experience: Getting through on the phone took several minutes but after that we were able to make an appointment on the same day, saw the vet on time, and she was helpful, kind and prescribed appropriate meds. Impressed!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and great advise too. Our cat had a mouth operation. It was explained to us clearly along wirh the cost involved and all went well. We are so happy with this practise.

Fantastic experience: I had to visit here under really sad circumstances and as an emergency. The staff were absolutely amazing, Emma the vet was so compassionate, my little dog was treated so gently and we were given time to say goodbye to her. I would recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin. After recently moving to Southampton with 2 dogs and 1 cat it was becoming near impossible to find a vet that was registering new pets at their practice. Our one dog was having an allergic reaction and we still hadn't found a vet near us that was opening up registration. I decided to look further and contacted Vets4Pets that morning, the lady on the call was so patient and understanding with me. Registration usually takes a week or so to process - they got Scooby registered that morning so that he could come in and see the vet. Then there is the incredible service we received from the vet (I'm so sorry I don't have her name but she is Australian) who was just so good with our boy - I couldn't sing her praises more. Thank you so much Vets4Pets!

Fantastic experience: Sandie and Nicola are both excellent Vets and we know they will always treat our Basset hound Seth as if he belonged to them. They are always friendly, interested in Seth and his well-being and will do everything they can for us and Seth. We couldn’t be more happy with the service they provide. The nurses and reception staff are always polite, professional and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff from reception through to the nursing and vet team, did everything they could to help us keep our boy in this world and everything was explained so well, despite our medical backgrounds which we really appreciated! They’ve been so quick to respond through phone calls and emails, and I can’t fault a single thing they are doing, have done and will be doing with our boys!

Fantastic experience: To be able to get in at such short notice on christmas eve was enough for me to show how caring the practice is. One receptionist could of been abit different but overall happy to just be able to get him sorted before the christmas period really began

Fantastic experience: We have been with our previous vet for the past 40 years, through a cat and four dogs. They were taken over by another group recently and their philosophy seems to have changed from caring for your pet to seeing them as a cash cow. Our dog was diagnosed as having diabetes and the treatment they recommended seemed to us inhumane so we went to Vets4Pets for a second opinion. The diagnosis was obviously the same but the treatment we felt was much easier for us and our dog to cope with: the vet was very understanding and focused on our dog's quality of life as well as his health.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful welcome on our first visit. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff who took time to explain things and answer our questions. Our puppy had a great time and didn’t even notice his vaccinations!

Fantastic experience: A wonderful group of caring people who have your pets best interests at heart. They are patient and understanding explaining everything clearly, making sure you fully understand what is going on. They explained exactly how much I could expect to pay ensuring, as much as they could, barring any nasty surprises. The care they provided for my dog was/is second to none. Working around his insecurities. Everything was done to limit his stress levels and keep him calm. I was fully informed and kept up to date with everything in a no nonsense and caring way. I will continue to go here for all my pets needs. I would most definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I needed an urgent appointment and this was made for us trouble free- we could see the vet within an hour. Dog was treated very kindly and everything was explained . He was able to have prompt treatment to prevent any other complications. we did not have to wait long to be called in once we arrived a the vet. Very grateful for such great service

Fantastic experience: Took my kitten here for a check up before her spay, reception staff were lovely and welcoming. Vet that I saw explained everything I could have asked, made sure my cat felt comfortable and ensured I knew everything I could before the procedure. Booked in for just over a week later, very impressed!

Fantastic experience: Our cat hadn't eaten for a couple of days, got appointment same day, had to phone on arrival then let in when time to see the vet. All really caring staff, did blood test and gave antibiotics. Still not right next morning, so taken in for fluids and antibiotics over the day, allowed home overnight where ate us out of house and home, took back next day and where given tablets and sent home with call us if you need anything more. They just couldn't do more to care.

Fantastic experience: Explained everything they were going to do step by step. I asked about nail trimming and they where happy to do this while my kittens were under anesthesia. Very happy with the service here and would recommend to anyone with animals to come here.

Negative experience: Arrived for a 3.30 appointment doors were locked, after knocking a Nurse/Receptionist came to the door, and asked me to wait outside until they were ready to see me. Good job it was First Registration and not serious. Totally unacceptable very poor customer service. I walked away after 10 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and polite Receptionist, who also explained the treatment plan. Vet was also friendly and kind; made a fuss of my puppy. It was his first visit and she gave him some treats for the vaccination. Very warm welcome and lovely staff.

Positive experience: On Friday I had to have my cat put to sleep unfortunately because she was in their from 12pm until 5pm the end Bill was £495 She was Insuranced to but Apparently they don't use it until after treatment? And I still have the remaining balance to pay £129 ..its all about money with them
