Vets4Pets Norwich Longwater

Fantastic experience: Been a client at Vets4Pets Longwater for almost 6 years and they are absolutely amazing! As we have several dogs, the majority of the team there have gotten to know us quite well and to us they’re our friends now. Always so friendly and caring. When we have had to say goodbye to a few of our older dogs they have been so incredibly kind with lots of hugs for us. The veterinary team were able to come out to our home each time that we had to sadly say goodbye to some of our old dogs and their compassion was beyond what we could of hoped for. They made those heartbreaking times more bearable. Never had an issue getting an appointment and highly recommend them. An amazing team who all care so much about our pets and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Receptionist staff have been really warm, and welcoming to me personally and always have a nice ‘chitchat’ whilst waiting. Been a few times in the past 2 months with my cats, and have to say every experience has been a lovely one. I have seen 3 separate vets on different occasions and they were really kind, and thorough. All reception staff I have come across have been really accommodating but one in particular, I believe her name is Georgia, is really helpful, and so kind. Really happy with my experiences here so far, and hope it stays like this

Negative experience: Absolutely appalled, after a good relationship being the “go to vet’s” I've sadly recommended, very rude and obnoxious receptionist, and same sort of attitude from the vet when he discovered we’ve taking our custom else where. Rest Assured, those recommendations have been corrected. I recognise this may be an isolated incident but i can not reward such disgusting lack of manners or compassion with repeat custom.

Positive experience: Can be expensive for some stuff but great choice for Dogs not brilliant choice for cats , nice staff , vets are ok pleasant reception staff but I have to question medication prices seems expensive compared with online prices

Positive experience: Staff great. Vet great. Very convenient. Consultation fee is going rate, tad high maybe. Meds at around £40 for 3-4g is higher than elsewhere but not uncommon sadly in this industry.

Negative experience: Went to pick up my little girls prescription- two receptionists in attendance. Totally ignored and made to feel uncomfortable. Very poor service and very poor experience- avoid

Fantastic experience: Reception and vet staff are all lovely, they were there every step of the way when we had to go in to put our family dog down. gave me tissues and a glass of water when i needed to step out. Phenomenal ladies that made the horrible experience much more bareable

Negative experience: Receptionist rude regarding missing an appointment. We had a family emergency meaning we missed the appointment. We have never missed one before but rung as soon as we could to explain what was happening… to be told we should of rung the day before and cancelled as if we could see into the future about what was going to happen. Have paid the cancellation fee but really shocked at the service considering we have been a customer for 6 years.

Negative experience: I recently had my dog admitted for care and treatment I strongly feel my dog was not looked after with a caring nature and found the vet in practice to be rude and up herself my dog was given pain relief medication afterwards I soon learned through a different vet service that vets4pets might aswell have given him sweets as the medication was a very weak dose for the high levels of pain my dog had experienced

Fantastic experience: My little RSPCA rescue had to go in to be spayed here three weeks ago. All the staff I dealt with were polite and helpful, but I can't thank Angela enough for the whole process and her help in the few days after Nelly's op when she was really poorly. Nelly has now totally recovered. Thank you.

The only suggestions I would ask is monthly payments by direct debt as cost of living now is hard and harder when it's time for treatment and spending £100 in one sitting on low income is hard other than that perfect

Fantastic experience: The vet gave my cats a good check over , one had messed in his carrier and the vet kindly washed this & him and gave me some 'bubble bath' to help wash him once home. he needed some dental work doing and a quote was sent so I could pass to my insurance company and given advise on how to reduce the plaque for the future.

Fantastic experience: I can’t find fault for everything from answering my queries, to booking an appointment, up to the time my dog was seen by the vet. They were all professional and kind. The only issue is the very high vet bill, especially when the reason of the visit is due to an illness, just sad that this is how it is.

Negative experience: Quite frankly it would be a zero if I could. Last year I moved out of Norwich and cancelled all x3 pet plans I held there. One pet went to live with relatives following the move. My relatives went into mistakenly to get worm flea treatment etc......and were give it without question.....I now get a debt collection email taking legal action against me! How dare you.....I cancelled my account for all 3 pets 7.10.20... Any response will be gratefully received. An apology might be nice too xx

Fantastic experience: The process was easy and staff polite. The two rabbits are recovering well and we got plenty of medication and printed information to help ensure a swift recovery, with no complications.

Negative experience: We have had our animals under the health plan for almost 3 years and to start with, the staff could not have been more helpful, but in the last year or so, all the customer care skills they have acquired have been ditched and the staff, particularly the reception staff, are very rude and patronizing. I have been pulled up in front of an entire waiting room of people regarding an outstanding bill I was unaware of and told that the small amount of outstanding money owed had been passed to a debt recovery service and then made to feel stupid and irresponsible when my cat got pregnant and abandoned her kittens, this was despite me explaining that we had sat up with her whilst she gave birth until 4am and then tried to revive the kittens stating we had contacted an emergency vet seeking advice. I am now looking forward to the expiry of the companion care plan we have in place as when it has expired, our time with these people will finally come to an end

Fantastic experience: Cannot fault the care my dog has received from the vet at Longwater. Diagnosis of puritus, picked up by the on site groomer. Quick appointment with the vet, thorough examination and treatment, and my dog is now receiving monthly injections. Vicki, the receptionist was amazing. She sorted our insurance claim ( well worth the small £5 admin fee), and our insurance company quickly paid for initial cost ( minus excess), and continuing to pay for treatment. Highly recommend CC VET at Longwater

Fantastic experience: Happy with the experience here, a regular visit to have my rabbits teeth trimmed. (Although a little costly when this is an ongoing periodical need / every 6 weeks - I understand you pay for what you get!). The nurse is always friendly, informative and observant, as well as respectful. Able to keep him calm and perform the procedure quickly. Never left waiting in the waiting room too long either. Been happy here for my other pets too. Thank you.

The reception staff were very friendly. After the visit, which was for an ultrasound, the scans were sent to me very quickly.
