Fantastic experience: if you have guinea pigs and you're looking for someone who will handle them with care and expertise, you can trust this vets. the talented staff here have performed, on two different occasions, successful spays due to cysts which were frankly miraculous. the first on an older pig who had lost so much weight that she was barely more than skin and bone (she is still happily chugging along three years later) the second yesterday on a pig whose cysts had grown so big so fast that by the time they were removed they were literally the weight of an entire extra pig. (if you want numbers, she went from a stable 1.2kg to 1.57 over the course of 2 months, and is now 914 grams, having had removed 656g, barely less than the weight of her little elderly companion who was the first spay) i don't have words strong enough for my gratitude with how this vets has handled my pets, and for as long as i have pigs and this surgeon works there we will visit them for all our pet ccare needs.

They know their stuff when it comes to guinea pigs, they’ve given the best advice and have treated the piggies so well. They talked me through everything that they were doing and why it’s happened. Very thorough with care.

Positive experience: Attended 6 monthly check up which is always a good opportunity to chat through pets health, the vet was wonderful very professional & compassionate towards my elderly little dog explaining in great detail the health issues that come with age and the options to manage these. Only reason lost a star was cost of medication which whilst happy to purchase for my dog was shocked at the difference in price from online pet pharmacies, hopefully moving forward I can obtain a prescription & purchase online is the medication will be ongoing.

Fantastic experience: A bit difficult to find first time. Felt like I was driving into someone’s property, but it is well signed. It is MediVet but signs etc say ‘all creatures’.

Fantastic experience: I can’t praise this vets enough. When we put our beautiful dog down they handled it so well being so kind to my family and giving us the time and support we needed. They gave our dog Bobby dignity and respect in his last moments and I can’t thank the Nurse and Vet enough.

Fantastic experience: Our family lost our beloved Bella. Our grandsons grew up with her and for 11yrs Bella was the most loving and faithful dog. Our thanks go to all the staff at Medivet, Horsford for the care and treatment Bella was given while under their care. A massive thankyou to the Vet who administered the injection that took Bella away from her pain and suffering the way both you and your colleague conducted yourselves was exemplary and caring, thankyou.

Fantastic experience: Booked one of my dogs for his annual vaccination. His is large and very nervous at the surgery. The vet who attended him was sympathetic and open to the suggestion of perform the exam/vaccination in the back of my vehicle, where the dog was more relaxed and easier to mange in confined space. All done and dusted quickly and efficiently. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: We struggle to find a vet who will see Birds as we have lots of chickens and pheasants but we have taken two hens now to Medivet and I’ve had 100% perfect service from knowledgeable reliable and reasonable. The vet we had yesterday was called Monica and she was Fantastic, our chicken had peritonitis from a blocked ova duct She drained the fluid and explained everything perfectly and while the chicken isn’t better yet on day two she certainly seems a lot brighter And his breathing much better already

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough about George the vet. He was great with a pet Lizard, and has recently saved my husky's life by removing a toy from her guts. He waisted no time in diagnosis and promptly operated. The 6 month check up He was again great with explanations and happy to answer my questions. Horsford vets are the only vets I will use as all the staff are pleasant and helpful. Experience with other vets I cannot say the same.

Unfortunately, the next day I received a 'spam' email from Medivet asking if I wanted to send in a cute photo of our pet. This was incredibly insensitive and such bad timing.

Fantastic experience: Took my 5 week old puppies for a health check. He was very thorough, checking all 6 puppies eyes, mouths, hips, hearts, giving each one a good check. Felt most reassured.

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling. Got robbed over 4 times the amount for flea and worm treatment, because the plan had ended and o was notified. They deny any liability because a letter was posted. Not signed for or guaranteed delivery. I never got the letter. Reception just talked over me every time I tried to express that in this cost of living crisis they have a duty to make everyone aware whilst they transition whatever nonsense system they use. AVOID.

Fantastic experience: I've taken Levi for regular appointments and twice for medical issues. The receptionists and vets are really nice and easy to speak to. They went over several possibilities over the phone to make sure Levi actually needed an appointment. They don't just make appointments for money. Lovely place.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to ‘allcreatures’ since 2019 when we sadly lost our beloved Misty. The compassion they showed during such a horrific time was truly amazing and an experience that I won’t forget. I have since had my Labrador with the practice since Sep 2019 and they really are about the pets. Following this my cocker spaniel is now registered and he’s had a dental scale and polish and they were fantastic with him. I highly recommend All Creatures / Meditvet as a professional compassionate practice.

Negative experience: I have now left this vets as the service has degenerated since Medivet took control. My impression is that they are a money orintated group. We left a previous vet as they were swallowed up by a large group, All Creatures were then independant, the lure of gold was too much for the owners, so they sold up. I have found a truly independant vet now and for the time being, happy.

Fantastic experience: All Creatures have always cared well for my pets. Recently we had to make a very difficult decision. All Creatures handled our pet's care with compassion and made us feel very well supported at this difficult time.

Negative experience: Booted from the health plan with zero warning, essentially, they are trying to push people to a more expensive and less comprehensive plan without giving any details not even prices. and they fail to respond. Will be going elsewhere. Seems like the practise is going downhill.

Negative experience: Sadly my poor dog wasn't offered a blood test to see why he was loosing weight and falling over. I was told he had arthritis and needed monthly injections. As he was 14 I didn't want to do this. A few weeks later a friend suggested I visit Rackheath vets which I did, they throughly examined him and took bloods while I waited. Our poor boy had kidney failure and it was too far advanced to treat. We said a peaceful goodbye to him yesterday at Rackheath vets in the hands of a caring vet and staff. After many years previous good service at All Creatures in the end our dog was badly let down by a vet whose aim was to get our dog on an expensive treatment plan that would not have helped him.

Fantastic experience: I recently got two beautiful mini-lops. Unfortunately, I knew something wasn't right with my girl about a day after bringing them home. I had already registered with All Creatures as my breeder had recommended them and they seemed like the best place for rabbits even though they're quite far for me (I'm in South Norwich). I rung them with my concerns over my bunnies and they saw me the same day. The vets are fantastic, very compassionate and run you through their concerns, etc. and the best course of action but ultimately leaving it in your hands to decide what's best for your pet. As a second time rabbit owner I was really scared and doing this alone because my partner is currently away in the States. They were so comforting and the reception team were great as well. It's not the easiest of places to get to without a driving license but it's worth it because I know they're getting the best care here. Thank you to the whole team for nursing my little baby back to health. She's still recovering but things are looking up and I can't thank them enough for their fast response and professional advice.

Positive experience: I find the Vets very good. Always good with our nervous rescue dog. We recently changed from a local larger Veterinary practice which we found just too big and impersonal so we are much happier here. My only negative is , the reception staff could be a bit more friendlier and outgoing.

Negative experience: My poor boy! Unfortunately, we've been patients of this terrible practice for over 5 years. My boy suffers with bad ears. They keep giving us all sorts of drops and tablets but never actually fixing the problem. We've been going there about my boys ears forever and all they ever do is charging us for consultation, give us some drops that i can buy online for less than half price and nothing else. We've been there only last month about his ears , £70 later and drops that calm him down for a week, we are back to square one! My poor boy is having same problems again! 5 years! And you never bothered to fix my boys illnesses. Absolutely do not recommend this place. Moving to another vet. All about money money money

Fantastic experience: Always so lovely and so helpful unlike some vets I have used previously. I have pet birds and rabbits and they have been checked over and treated and I’ve never had a problem. People who have mentioned not understanding certain vets at this practice need to be more careful of how they come across because if it wasn’t for them, I would be up the creek without a paddle as Norwich is poor for exotic vets. Always will be with these vets and always will recommend. Thank you again for being understanding and helpful when we found out our bunnies were boys instead of girls ‍♀️.

Positive experience: What a pity you found the need to be affiliated with a large venture capital company buying up vet practises all over UK. Something the Competition/ Marketing Commission are aware of and acting upon in some areas. The base line is Cash Generating Unit. However my pets are well cared for by your practise, thats the important thing.1

Negative experience: My dog came in with stomach pain. We went ahead with an X-ray due to an abnormal level of pain and luckily nothing came up. She was discharged on Saturday at 5pm with my family member as I was at work with no further investigation or pain relief and she was apparently fine? I felt they discharged her due to time and the day. My dog was back in pain an hour later after the sedation had worn off with what the pain she had originally came in with. No follow up care and no direct payments to the insurance for huge amounts of money. The vet did try to sort this out but the manager refused. The prices have appeared to have increased significantly due to the change over to medivet. I will be putting in a further complaint as I am disgusted with my dog being discharged like that.

Negative experience: Sadly finally given up with all creatures today, our dog is at end of life and clearly not well, so we booked him in for today, we arrived no one else waiting, a little while later a lady arrived with a cat and went straight in, we waited for another 40 mins and asked were we going to be seen, no other customers arrived, we were told not too much longer and as we approach a wait of one and half hours we asked again, then we were told our vet was sick, they had called us and there was no chance of an appointment till this evening, we left saying this was the last straw and we would move vets, so we rang another vet, they contact all creatures and they rang us and they just wanted to check if we wanted to move we said yes and they seemed very happy for us to leave, so we moved. But this came on the back of cancelling the pet plan in January for three of our pets, as we could never collect the flea treatments, we were too early or too late, they lost them, forgot wormer and we were even told they needed to order the cat treatment and when we collected it the medicine had expired before the course of treatment was complete. We found the vets were often not very experienced or in training, and the advice was mixed at best, but when our pet is ill and they clearly have no vets it seems a bit pointless, too many excuses to list, but be warned, the service here has declined.

Negative experience: sat in the vets today waiting to be seen, a couple in front left as they couldnt bare to be with there pet while it had to be put to sleep, as soon as the left the vet and reception started saying i bet the left to skip out on bill and vet was saying to chase them down on the phone asap. this practice only cares about money! avoid at all costs

Negative experience: They don’t care about the pets only the money. Said it’s better to put my pet to sleep than pay for the surgery.

Negative experience: Went to have a pet checked out. Was told it’s better to put down as no quality of life even tho pet runs jumps and plays fine just a big lump to be told by practice manager that she put her dog down because of lumps as it’s not worth it!! This women is a head nurse!! You wouldn’t put a human down as it has an infected lump! Then when I wanted odds and got upset as it’s a small animal I was kicked out!!! Don’t go here if you are going to get upset of show emotions as they will kick you out but don’t worry they still want their money! Head nurse even said if you can’t afford it best to put her down! What happened to save the animals as a vet this practice is all about getting money! Avoid if you love your pets!!!

Fantastic experience: Great place, great people. Every part of pre and post opp care for my pet was very well explained.

Negative experience: first impression awful from the outside, upon arrival first thing i noticed was the water stained ceiling all over the inside of the building. when inside the consultation room staff had not been communicating with why we were here today and the room had a bizarre smell.
