Fantastic experience: I brought my cat down on a Saturday which is for emergencies only but they still seen him, the lady vet(I think she may have been Spanish sorry I didn’t get her name) was fantastic, very reassuring and tried to make the visit as cheap as possible for me no money grabbing or trying to get as much money out of me as possible like a lot of vets do! Wonder clinic with friendly receptionists :)

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking service! The “care” they provided was appalling, if you care about your pets avoid this surgery. The vet won’t even come to the phone knowing fine rightly what they have done!! Wouldn’t even give 1 star but I can’t leave the review otherwise.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Braemar have been absolutely fantastic. After a not so great experience at another vet we moved our dog, Tess, over to Braemar for support. Tess had behavioural issues and was very wary of people outside our family circle which could come across as aggression, making normal vet trips very difficult. The team at Braemar made various suggestions such as video appointments, sedation for in person appointments as necessary (going as far as giving her a nail cut and tooth clean whilst she was out), and when it came to the end of life - came out to our home to make Tess as comfortable as possible. With various issues, the vets always made suggestions of how to make Tess feel at ease and prolong her life where we could. It is so refreshing to see a practice that looks at our pet as a part of the family, despite her behavioural problems. We have also received a condolence card through the post this morning, hand written and signed by the team which was a lovely touch. I could not recommend Braemar enough.

Fantastic experience: We had an emergency. They open late. A godsend for us. Yogi was badly hurt. Attentive and sympathetic care made it easier for us. And Yogi got through it. Great local vet service.

Negative experience: Just seen the vets yesterday,after reading the latest government reports into pet owners being overcharged I think that the very least any vets can do is to have a list of prices on this website, we're being taking advantage of.

Fantastic experience: My elderly dog Sasha is a very nervous dog but the vet we seen was very gentle and made up and Sasha feel at ease.

Fantastic experience: I go there with my cat Mishka every year for vaccination and whatever is needed and ive to say they never failed me. Not sure if other clinics are better or worse but this 1 is great and i dont plan to switch being there almost 10 years

Fantastic experience: Wee Lola our Cavapoo went for a 6 month check up on Friday 20th January where we'd discussed spaying her. She was booked in for that Spay on Monday 23rd January. We were kept up to date while she was with them and giving detailed instructions for her post op care. Follow up was brilliant and we have PetApp for all other communications. Would 100% recommend Shane and all the vets/nursing staff and receptionists at Braemar.

It's always spotless inside and the receptionist is very helpful when I need to book appointments or buy medication. The vets and their assistants are always informative and explain fully about any treatments or medication given on that day. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to change their vets or anyone that has a new pup.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Shane with all my dogs. We've had quite a few who had to be put to sleep. He is one of the most caring compassionate people I have met. He even came to the hse as my sister could'nt get to him. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Can't fault this place. I called at about 4.15pm today with some queries. I was in a consultation with a vet by about 4.45pm, and out the door with diagnosis and medication shortly afterwards. The staff were welcoming and put me and my dogs at ease immediately. The bill was a very welcome surprise too - much less than anticipated. Thank you to everyone at Braemar.
