Negative experience: They overcharged for indorex fleece sprayer. Anywhere in uk cost £15 for 500ml they charge £27 . Shame on all

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs ! They made you wait 1hr not even saying sorry also they overcharged us for a indorex sprayer for fleece. They sold it to us for £27 and in uk all over is like £15 same amount . Shame on entire stuff

Negative experience: They care about money only £80 for antibiotic?!?! When I paid already 125 for a visit. Not a first time when I feel like that with this practic. Upsetting when your dog ia not well

Fantastic experience: Our beloved 10 year old rescue dog became unwell on a Sunday whilst we were away from home - nightmare. We called asking for help and they returned the call quickly. The vet who saw us was called Justin we believe, and he’s truly a credit to the place. He examined our dog on the floor without being asked to when we mentioned she gets shaky and scared on vet/grooming tables. He explained everything very thoroughly, including what to watch out for and what would happen if treatment didn’t work, and administered injections very gently, also taking lots of measures to let us know our normal home vet would know what happened should they have to pick up her care later. We left feeling reassured, albeit scared, but knew exactly what to do. He also said he knew we’d been warned about surcharges for an emergency/not-patient appointment, but he didn’t apply those charges, which was extremely kind. Currently we are hoping our dog recovers well and as planned, but wanted to take a moment to thank Justin & the reception team for their care and kindness!

Fantastic experience: Sadly, my cat had to undergo euthanasia yesterday which was the absolute last resort. The night prior to this, my cat, Summer, was uncomfortable, unable to eat, drink, or sleep; showing no signs of improvement and that's when we rushed to Pets At Home Fort Kinnaird in the afternoon. The veterinary nurse, Daniella, was absolutely fantastic with Summer and was so gentle. She extended a supportive hand to both myself and my Grandmother and went through the process with us. Summer was delicate, so Daniella was really careful with her and made her as comfortable as possible in my arms, and was so softly spoken with us as we were grieving the loss of what was not just a pet, but a fantastically loyal companion. Daniella being there made the experience a lot easier for us as we managed to see in Summers eyes that she was not scared or anxious, she knew that she was in good hands. I couldn't have wished for a more appropriate and better send-off. The standard of care that we have received at this Vets4Pets over the previous 11 years has been out of this world. If you're looking at registering your pet here, please do. They extend that care to absolutely every furry friend and their families. We thank you once again.

Fantastic experience: Vets for pets@fortkinnard have been looking after Mylo for 9 years, when he started having seizures about 5 years ago, they explained everything so well, great support, I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Tizer, up until a few years ago, was a regular monthly patient at a different vet practice. After moving to this practice and receiving excellent care and a long term treatment plan, he has only been to the vet once this year, and only twice last year (one of them being vaccinations). Tizer's, I would say, primary vet is Stratos and he sees Justin when Stratos is off, and has seen Lesley too when both are not available. The care he has received from this team can't be over stated. Tizer's health would not be as good as it now, with him very nearly 14 years old, if it weren't for the knowledge and confidence of this team to think outside the box and provide the appropriate medical care at the right time. Also, the nursing staff can not be spoken of highly enough. The support and information they gave me at the early stage of moving to the practice when Tizer was regularly poorly was greatly appreciated. Regarding cost, I have always found the vets very considerate in recommending only appropriate investigations and medications, and always outline the costs regarding these with no pressure to go ahead with them (unlike other vets who are not so patient and forthright). Very glad for Tizer to receive such excellent care from this team.

Fantastic experience: Vets4Pets Fort Kinnaird are amazing and caring veterinary team. Our boys love to come there, as they always have cuddles and treats for them, with lots of patience for our Jethro who is 100% "drama queen" and often panicing when someone trying touch his paws (he is panicly scared of nail clipping). Our boys had/have several health issues which are always toroughly investigated, explaned and treated by this great team. Everybody always have time to answer on my many questions and assuring me that everything will be ok. And we will never forget your sensitivity, kindess and support when Reksio crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. I won't be overstating when I say that you are the best veterynary clinic and we are imensively grateful for taking care of Reksio, Jethro & Falcor (and their parents) for all those years.

Fantastic experience: Been really good with my Fox red lab named Theo - He's normally in for a nail clip as he's been really healthy (touch wood) Nurses really good at treating excited animal with biscuits and reassurance

Negative experience: I phoned to make an appointment for my 12 week old puppy to get her 12 week vacation they told me someone will phone me back I'm still waiting 2 days later I have now phoned a local vet and got an appointment straight away for a week later just a waste of time if you ask me. best looking at your local vets and not use vets for pets complete time wasters

Negative experience: I’ve had a good experience in the past but this time I phoned to get a somewhat urgent appointment for my very small dog that was repeatedly vomiting with diarrhoea laced with blood, which we’ve experienced in the past and was treated like an emergency by a different vet. I was told I’d receive a call back from a vet but I never did. Thankfully my dog recovered on a plain diet and rest but pretty scary to think what might have happened if it was something more serious and they never bothered to check.

Negative experience: Our cat had what we suspected was a UTI. Vets prescribed him numerous antibiotics over 2 months, which we were obviously being charged for, but nothing would clear it up. We switched vet because a suspected UTI should have been cleared in a matter of weeks, not months and we weren't happy pumping our cat with antibiotics that clearly weren't effective. We seen our new vet once and the problem was resolved. All that was required was a change in our cat's diet and more water. No medication whatsoever. Staff are absolutely clueless and profit seems to be the priority rather than pet health. If you have any regard for your pet's health use another vet.

Negative experience: This vets, in my opinion, is turning into a ‘money factory’ long gone are the days of personal contact. (Even before Covid). Now it’s a case of automated phone options, endless list of details. Receptionist used to be nice, polite and welcoming, now combative and tries to put the blame on you (no, I can’t walk in behind the scene to collect my pets medicine!!). Their prices are becoming a joke, £32-£34 for named brand, nearly £30 for a generic brand (third of the size) I’ve had the excuse of ‘Brexit’ and ‘Covid’ for price rises... REALLY??? They really need to pick a price and stick to it, all too often the prices change within weeks. I’m in the process of looking for a vet now, not somewhere to throw money at.

Positive experience: The vet was lovely, he was very accommodating and explained everything really well. He was also very gentle with my cat when giving her her check up and vaccination. He explained the further treatment (wormer) he sent home with me and what was and wasn't covered in my health plan fully. My only concern in the whole visit was that the waiting area isn't great because its in the shop and noisy. I couldn't bring my dog in there to wait because he would get overwhelmed and I felt really bad with the poor cat. The reception team, however, were very friendly and efficient, as well as patient with me when filling out the forms (I'm dyslexic and missed a page but they didn't know that, they were accommodating all the same).

Fantastic experience: I always find not only the receptionists but also the vets and nurses who have attended to Oliver to be both professional and friendly. Always helpful towards me and respectful which is not always the case when dealing with other people and services in this day and age.

Fantastic experience: The 3 vets I met with were incredibly caring and compassionate. They took the time to explain everything in detail regarding possible diagnoses, planned investigation and treatment. I did not feel rushed in any way and felt very well supported. They really showed such great kindness and care towards my poorly dog, which was very comforting and reassuring. I felt that she was in the best possible hands. The reception staff were all friendly and professional, both in person and when I had been in contact by phone. They called me back when they said they would and were also very calm and reassuring during telephone calls.

Negative experience: Vets are shocking I went with my dog who has a lump to see if it was cancer and the vet Sung Lee told me he didn’t know anything about the breed and then said she was she was fine and in good health I’ve had to get a second opinion and they’ve told me the most devastating news ever but thanks to the vet for not checking my dog over no concern what’s so ever for your pets as long as there getting paid they don’t care for the health of your dog and the team are usless to get any help would avoid at all costs if you love your pet !!!!!!!I wouldn’t even give them one star

Negative experience: This ONE star is for the reception service. The care plan they emailed me £10/month. I gave my bank details and couple days later saw they charge £12.50 /month. I was at the reception desk today to find out why, the young lady informed me the price gone up. I asked to cancel the care plan, she told me I will be charged £30 cancellation fees and consultation fees for two days £90. Then I asked for care plan paper that I’ve signed up she gave me earlier, she said she already binned it. I again asked her to give me new one. She asked “what’s for” I said I still want to read what’s on the care plan paper. However on the care plan paper states if they change the price they should let you know 14 days in advance if you are not happy with the price you allow to cancel without paying cancellation fee. In the end I still decided to pay all that just because I want to walk out of that service I feel disgusting arguing about all this with her. I feel like I’ve been tricked into sign up the membership. I feel sorry for myself come across that service.

Negative experience: The shop is ok but the vets are useless. Had a new cat and signed up for their care plan a week later my cat started vomiting due to change of diet which I have found out myself as the vets had no idea. They gave him couple of injections and some paste and charged ridiculous amount. Care plan? They even charged consultation fee when it said it was free? Who knows. Canceled plan after a week as it’s useless and they charged me cancellation fee. I will be taking my cat somewhere else from now on.

Vets need to think and care like Doctors and nursing staff who deal with humans,as animals become family,you child ,and your dear friend,loosing Tigger is truly up there when i lost a human son Aaron,and i understand about making money,but sometimes its good to show compassion ,and truly show you care

The reception staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The vets on duty always take time to explain what treatment needed etc and are very caring. Fantastic experience: Lovely staff always keen yo help. We shop here often for dog food, clothes, beds etc and am always delighted with the choice available. We also buy one of our fogs prescription foods here (online) which is a lot less expensive than buying from anywhere else.

Negative experience: Recently took my dog in to get a dental check as her teeth has became a bit wobbly and she’s difficult to let brush her teeth and has been since a puppy. The staff including the vet at the store were very friendly and looked after her well. My issue was the price I was quoted, nearly £700 to potentially extract upto 3 teeth and then it would be more money if it went above the 3. I don’t think nearly £1000 for dental work on a pet is fair and to expect folk to pay out that kind of money when she has been under your care for just over 6 years. That was with a 10% discount for being on the health plan haha. I will be moving to another vet over this as I know this work can be carried out elsewhere at a fraction of the price.
