Fantastic experience: Neil has been our family Vet for over 10 years and has looked after all my kittens and cats over the years. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and approachable. No one likes to see their pets sick or suffering but I know with Neil they will receive the right treatment and care they deserve when they are at their most vulnerable. Thank you Neil and his amazing staff - Martyn, Suki, Mo, Coco :)

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience with Neil and the reception staff these past couple days. Everyone was wonderful, especially with accommodating our emergency appointment. Everyone we spoke with was down to earth, and helped keep our family calm when it was needed the most. Will be our choice of vet for the foreseeable future!

Fantastic experience: I have an anxious rescue dog who (as all dogs!) hated the vets when we got him - thanks to these amazing guys on reception, in appointments and everything in between he actually loves the vet now and they make such a fuss of him, you can tell everyone here really loves animals. Cant recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: Top vets, no bother ever. Great reminders via text. Can get in on short notice. Proactive trying to book you in for regular stuff like flea and worming. Neil is the vet we see and he is as you would expect. Always helpful and puts the animals at ease. He is so quick adminstering jabs etc that our dog doesn't even notice.

Fantastic experience: Staff made such a fuss of our little dog when he was neutered recently. So friendly and made all the difference at this worrying time.

I also took out the annual care plans for my cat and my dog which offer such good value for money. Neil, the vet, checked out both pets and was caring and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Very good service. My cat which had been a stray living in my daughter's greenhouse needed four teeth out. Neil did the extractions and I had to take him back a week later. His mouth has healed well. I have no hesitation in recommending metro vets to anyone.

Negative experience: After reading so many great reviews,we had such high hopes and decided to switch from a large branded vets where our dog was seeing a different vet each time to metrovets.Hoping to get to the bottom of bad painful stomach issues with our dog.We had an incline she had IBD from ongoing symptoms,and we suggested that.Immediately Neil adamantly ruled this out.Without a choice he decided stomach ultra sound and blood tests to be done together.I did ask for bloods to be done first,as this could help to indicate if she then later needed a scan.We weren't too happy with this as it's an extra procedure that can come after doing other tests first, so we decided to cancel the scan,and spoke to the receptionist where we said can we get the bloods first.Her attitude was extremely abrupt and rude,she told us it wasn't our choice it's the vets decision so we therefore left the practice. Finally we have found an amazing vet that listens to owners,and cares about the animals, and not just money from extra procedures,and has a wonderful reception staff too.Oh and eventually we found out that our dog is infact suffering with IBD,this could have been treated well beforehand.

Fantastic experience: We were recommended MetroVets by a friend who said they were the best so when we got our puppy Teddie and noticed quite quickly he was constantly itching and biting his fur this place was the obvious choice. Straight away we put at ease and Neil obviously cares about the animals. After getting tests done to find out the cause of Ted’s skin problems we were told he had a severe dust mite allergy and as you can’t 100% get rid of dust mites, this meant poor Ted would need regular treatment for the rest of his life. Neil showed us the report and gave us all the available options and we never once felt pressured. As there is no way we wanted our little boy to suffer, we decided to go for the monthly allergy injection which helps relieve his symptoms and have been taking Ted for his injection every month for pretty much 7 years. Considering most dogs hate the Vets and our dog knows he is going to get an injection, he pulls to go in every time and still wags his tail. Another thing to note is that when ted cut his paw quite badly, I took him in to get bandaged and asked Neil if I could get some painkillers and was told he didn’t need them which shows he is not about profit first.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Metro Vets to everyone. We have used them many times over the years & the care is five star every time. We came in for an emergency appointment as one of our cats who hasn't been well recently injured his neck today. The receptionists were very helpful & super friendly. The Vet was absolutely lovely - He is very professional & kind. I got quite tearful at the appointment as I was so stressed & worried, The Vet was very understanding and sorted everything out for our cat really quickly. We also got our female 6 month old kitten neutered there just 2 weeks ago - it went very well. Her incision is very small & neat. She's healed perfectly. I know every time we go to Metro Vets, our pets will receive the best care possible. Thank you very much, From one very grateful Cat owner!

Fantastic experience: Don't normally review, but i just have to tell everyone how great this vets is. Neil the vet has helped us so much with our boxer, he has a few issues going on which really effected my own mental health. Thanks to Neil, he took over and got my dog back on track. he is to the point, tells you what is needed and cares for the pets. Naturally this reduced my own worries and now i am enjoying owning a happy healthy crazy boxer! Cheers metrovets!!

Fantastic experience: Find reception staff very friendly, in the past 2 year's we have phoned for reassurance about some concerns we had with our dog (Meghan), Neil has always called us back with valuable information and assurance and called us in only if required.

Fantastic experience: Our Pip (JRT) is very wary of people touching her paws, ears and stomach, but for Neil she quite happily will lay on her back and let him examine away. You can trust a pets judgement of people, and she trusts them completely!

Negative experience: I thought Neil was great but my god make sure you don't cancel there OPTIONAL monthly health plan or else Neil will de register your pet without telling you and personally refuse to see your Dog in an emergency even when the receptionist explained the situation and then come out with the line "Go find another Vet as he isn't registered anymore" this was an emergency after over 10 years this is how my Dog was treated, disgraceful luckily Vets4Pets are giving my DOG the treatment he needs! I gave 1 star as it wouldn't let me give 0 stars!

Negative experience: Absolutely useless staff! Neil is a good vet but dealing with admin team to get an appointment or get anything sorted out is an absolute joke! Not worth the hassle no matter how good of a vet he is!

Fantastic experience: Great vets for small animals and have cared for my daughters guniea pigs really well, vet is excellent with keeping you updated on procedures and they give good aftercare too, nice to know as some vets won't look at rodents etc and in the past other vets have poorly prescribed medicines that were ineffective to treat a polyp that needed removing. Caring and friendly team all round and they've certainly kept my daughters guniea pigs safe and healthy as they get older.

Fantastic experience: Receptionists are great, a lovely group of young ladies, nothing is too much trouble and they are so friendly, couldn't ask for more.

Negative experience: Third time been Metrovets, unfortunately it is the last time also. Was told to change to other vet after return the medicine which is over charged. My dog is diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia today, then was shocking when paying for the recommended medicine with a month supplement: pain killer and joint support product. I google the same products after paid and left. Soon realized was charged with a shocking price: 3 times more for the pain killer and 2 times more for the joint support product. If I buy online, I can save £57 for the same products, same brands. Despite I went back for refund, however it never cross my mind to change to other vet because the support from Neil is good. Later evening I got a text from Metrovets who suggests me to look for other vet because of I return the medicine. I choose Metrovets after reading so many comments from other places. But now very disappointed.
