Fantastic experience: They have looked after our dogs for the last 12 years. Reception staff are welcoming and friendly to the owners as well as the pets. Vet staff always helpful and discuss treatment.

Fantastic experience: Over the 16yrs lve been at Park View Vets lve experienced a big improvement in both the vets and receptionists. The staff now are the nicest, professional helpful people lve seen. The receptionists are my first point of contact these ladies really know their stuff, they have helped me many times and are simply a pleasure, the vets that l tend to see are Rob Maunders and Cristian Keresztesy as my dogs prefer a male but then they melt for the nurses now they are getting older. I’ve got to say overall the medical team have been excellent with all my six cats and two dogs. I’ve recommended Park View Vets many times over the years and will continue to do so.

Negative experience: If I could have put 0 I would. Do not take your pets to this veterinary hospital. They are incompetent and have put my animals in danger. I have had so many bills I don’t understand what I am paying for and then I get messages about missed appointments I have not made. Our pets are our family, please just take them somewhere else

Negative experience: Predatory pricing model. Got a quote for a surgery, was told the process, how they would do it, what we'd have to do, of having a three day post check up and pain/antibiotics for care afterwards. Happily paid for the surgery, thinking, obviously that the things they said needed to happen would be included in the price. No. These hidden costs increased the price from £550 to over £900. If they'd be upfront with the actual cost I wouldn't have any complaints despite the price. It's the vile way they add these extra costs that makes me mad, as it's a classic guilt trap. 200 for medication so they don't suffer, 70 for the post op appointment so we know they're safe, 90 for blood tests before the operation so we know they're actually safe to go into surgery. The care itself is good, the staff themselves are lovely, but the way they monitise is the predatory and disgusting.

Fantastic experience: Took my puppy for second round of vaccines and all the staff were lovely and helped so much and made sure he was looked after. 10/10

Negative experience: This surgery is not the same as it used to be dont get calls about when dogs medication is due- when on a pet plan- not the service it used to be-and not as friendly...staff at front desk for sure

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal team at park view, really do go the extra mile, My dog Arlo hasn’t been registered at the vets too long as we’ve not been living in the area long, this vets is the best veterinary practice to date, if you want your fur babies cared for, I definitely recommend, the team always go above and beyond to ensure the best care is given to the animals they care for.

Fantastic experience: I noticed a small lump on my dogs leg and rang the receptionist first thing in the morning. I was offered the last appointment of the day to see a vet. Despite the vet running a bit behind her schedule she was really lovely with our dog .She took time to explain what the skin issue was, what to look out for and what could possibly happen in the future . We never felt rushed even though the surgery was already taking in their night staff. I was so impressed. The reception staff are very friendly and the reception area is clean . They offer a selection of good pet toys & products too. We've used Park View since our dogs (now 4 years old) were puppies . I've never been disappointed by the service provided. Vet fees are expensive as we all know but the health of our animals is what matters most to us. I'm so grateful to have this veterinary hospital so close to us and would recommend them to other people.

Negative experience: Being the emergency vet in Lincoln, I called last night as had an issue with my cat. Please do not get me wrong the gentleman I spoke to was helpful, warm and understanding. When explain how much the consultation was, just the consultation, I was absolutely gob smacked at the amount £330 and some pennies for them to just look at my cat, no treatment, just the exam. How they can justify that amount is vile! Luckily my cat remedied his problem so I didn't have to take him in (i am insured so I would hope the bill would be covered) but that is not the point, that amount of money to just look at an animal is insane. No wonder animals are left to suffer, people just can't afford that kind of money!

Fantastic experience: Although I had my own vet, and a dog that was Insured, a week before Christmas she got so unwell I had to take her in, treatment consisted of what I could pay for and not what she actually needed!! They wouldn’t even give her antibiotics as I couldn’t pay for them so this amazing vets was found via a million phone calls and emails all over the place, and they found a solution for us, they even took my insurance policy and claimed direct so I didn’t have to find the money first! Something my own vets Wouldn’t do! And the vets are very thorough, it’s all about the well-being of animals and not money. Needless to say this is now my new vets

Fantastic experience: This isn't the first time I've said this, but the staff on reception really make this vets the best one I've been to. So often I've encounter coldness on a vetinary reception but not here, not only are they warm and friendly, but they're so personalable and easy to talk with. We all have that feeling of wanting to do right by our pets whilst being anxious about the cost of vet fees, and I know we all feel that pressure and doubt whilst a vet tells us everything they're going to do and prescribe that we wonder about the cost and necessity of. But after my appointment the receptionist was so understanding and non-judgemental, she gave me time to think about each item and was forthcoming with individual pricing so that I could pick and choose by priority. She gently upsold me by noting the 10% discount from the pet plan without making me feel pressured. I really hope the staff are treated with the respect and appreciation they deserve because this truly is a make-or-break for which vet service I use.

Negative experience: I have just returned from this vets, I went because my dog was not well. After 5 minutes with the vet, my dog had an injection to stop her being sick, and was given some cream to put on her food. She was also given 3 tins of dog food. I was then presented with a bill of £147, to which I objected and commented that it is no suprise that there are plenty of vets about at those prices. In the end, because my dog is on pet plan and has not had her free consultation this year, Incidentally she has never had a free consultation on all the years I have been taking her there. Anyway I ended up having to pay £57 which I still think is disgusting for the time she was there, but at that rate a consultation for 5 minutes would cost £90. No wonder there are plenty of vets at those prices, I am absolutely disgusted at what they tried to charge me

Fantastic experience: They treat our dog Mylo with care and respect and are incredibly patient with him! I am always fully informed and supported, the reception team are fantastic with Mylo and with me when we come to visit and I have never had any issues with the practice at all! I'm very grateful to have Park View as our vets for nearly 12 years now and as Mylo is entering geriatric age they are helping me better understand his changing needs - I know if I am ever worried I just need to give them a call and they are there to help. Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Parkview enough. I was devastated to have to accept our dog was failing and struggled to speak about it verbally so I emailed them to avoid me blubbering down the phone. They were so responsive and kind, added no pressure and supported us through the process. When the time came to say goodbye they made her as comfortable and calm as possible, knowing she was an anxious dog, and allowed us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes alone in the consultation room. It helped me so much to have that, to not see her distressed or anxious and to pass peacefully. Thank you

Negative experience: After our cat became ill at 11.00 pm I was advised to call these people. And they did in fact tell me they would charge £286 to see him. I thought considering the vet would have to meet us there at that time of night not terrible but was surprised to see they were in fact onsite with at least 4 staff and other clients ! I was a bit disgusted to be there less than 30 minutes, I knew they would have to put him to sleep, presented with a bill for £486.00 !!! No wonder animals suffer Beware if these people .

Negative experience: Went to the emergency vets on a Sunday after our dog was attacked. We were seen quickly and our dog was given a pain killer injection. We were not told about any after care, what to look out for, not to let it scab, signs of infection etc. It is now extremely badly infected and I feel that this could have been avoided should we have known what to spot. Really upset and disappointed especially due to the cost for an emergency appointment.

Negative experience: Our dog has had two Infections & 3 urine samples & on the 3rd we was waiting for someone to get back to us & when they did all they asked for was the bill, so my wife rang again & they said sorry for not letting us know that our dog has crystals, sorry isn't good enough when we've had to watch Mya be in pain! So we have now moved her to a new vet, avoid as all they cared about was being paid & obviously not our dogs wellbeing absolutely fuming

Fantastic experience: We have been using Park View Vets for about 10 years now. They have been tending to our cats on many different occasions from neutering, through routine check ups and minor issues to sadly helping them cross the rainbow bridge. All of the staff there is kind, caring and compassionate. Thank you for your good work and understanding. It means a lot.

Fantastic experience: Cannot praise everyone here enough! Quite literally saved Rue’s life! Following a traumatic experience with the vet I was registered with these guys saw us straight away, treated Rue straight away and the level of compassion and empathy for myself, family and my beautiful cat was exceptional! They were always honest with that the prognosis was poor but worked tirelessly to to overcome all the obstacles Rue’s condition (blocked bladder) presented for the 4 days he spent in their care. They would be getting this glowing review whatever the outcome but I’m elated to say all of their had work paid off and Rue is home, healthy and happy! And I will always be eternally grateful!

Fantastic experience: Our 3 year old cockerpoo Bella took poorly early this year, our previous vets kept saying she had a UTI and kept giving us antibiotics, they booked her in for bloods and a scan but she was rapidly getting worse, not eating, drinking, couldn’t go out we had to carry her everywhere, we were sleeping downstairs with her then on the night she took a really deep breath and I said to my husband she’s dying, we rang the emergency vets which was park view and they told us to bring her straight in at 4am on a Friday morning the staff were amazing did all the tests and within 1 hour we were informed she had Addisons disease, she was in a critical condition but was hoping she would lead a normal life, Bella stayed at the hospital until Sunday (we carried her in but when we picked her up she ran out of the vets) She’s now visiting the vets regularly for her treatment but living a normal life and we couldn’t be more thankful to all the staff there. A big thank you, you are all amazing

Fantastic experience: I love this vets. My Cat who was traumatised at our last vets is so much happier here. The staff are lovely, whether it's the vet, veterinary nurses and reception staff, all are lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. Value for money and I haven't found long waiting times.

Fantastic experience: We have not lived in the area very long and we have been delighted with the service from Park View vets. Unfortunately, we had to have our beloved cat put to sleep recently and Park View were excellent. They were sincerely sympathetic and understanding. It really helped us at such a sad time and they made the process straightforward. They sent a sympathy card and some Forget-Me -Not seeds, such a lovely thought. We have a dog too and know she is in safe hands!

Positive experience: I always find the vets very expensive, not sure if it's this expensive across the board?? the staff here are really, really nice though, and can't do enough to help you! .

Negative experience: I have to agree with 'S' on behaviour of the Practice Director. The PV team made our oldest Greyhound very ill with a yearly check-up procedure where he was administered a new combined booster vaccine after which, we were charged to correct this procedure with additional medication. Furthermore, we were also part of the pet plan subscription for both of our pets and we have now withdrawn from the plan. During the COVID period there were substandard levels of service delivered whilst the practice continued to charge the full level for both pets which amounted to over £500 per year. We were particularly frustrated with our treatment from the practice after being loyal customers since 2015.

Negative experience: The vet was fine and knowledgeable, but the admin is not up to scratch. Feels like the fees are paramount.

Negative experience: Disgusting wait time, 50 minute wait to pick up worm and flea after pre phoning through and said it would take 2 minutes, staff didn't care less and didn't even seem bothered about my wait, if I'd not reminded the staff I would have had a longer wait as I think they forgot, the person who came in 20mins after me for same thing got served 1st, been using this vets over 8yrs and the quality of service has definitely dropped off each time I use them, time fir a change of vet I think.

Negative experience: Sarah, the Practice Mgr, has an appalling attitude to customers and I am not the first to state it in these reviews. She tried to make me feel guilty about asking the cost of a consultation and said rudely and incorrectly I was only interested in the money and in addition she lied about hearing a conversation with a colleague when she was on a different floor. When I discussed the medication she made out that it caused internal bleeding and liver issues and I correctly said obviously not with the right dosage otherwise it wouldn't be a popular and registered medication for a dog, she didn't like someone correcting her so she started to argue and shout over me and when I confronted her aggressive and bullying attitude she put the phone down. Absolutely appalling that you are made to feel as if you are an inexperienced and frugal owner when you've had the breed of dog for over 30yrs and are only asking standard questions. She is arrogant and needs bringing down a peg or two as she obviously thinks she is untouchable which she isn't. With the number of complaints about her on here she obviously is connected to the owners in some manner as no business who values customers can afford to have a liability like her in the team.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting. Constant jibes at my expense every appointment. Final straw was being falsely accused of being abusive and being pulled into a room where I was shouted at by the branch manager about a. Something that didn't happen the way it was being portrayed and b. Something that wasn't my fault at all. Given differing information depending on who I spoke to and generally making their business a horrible place to be involved with. I requested an apology and was met with refusal and argument. I will be taking the issue further.

Fantastic experience: Since changing vets I have realised how much my old vet let me down. My dogs issues have been properly addressed and follow up appointments don't have to be decided by me when I think she might need them; they are booked at the time I first see the vet at the correct time for the medication to have an effect and progress to properly monitored. It really shows me what vet care should be and I know my dog is in good hands as she's not anywhere near as scared as this vet as the old one.

Negative experience: I took a 19 year old cat for an elderly lady. Sadly we knew that the cat would need to be put to sleep. The vet agreed with the decision without a need for examination. £178 later I left. Ridiculous prices, particularly£47 for the consultation which was just the vet agreeing.

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful caring practice. I had to have my cat pts last Wednesday. They were so kind and considerate. Thankyou Took my other two cats for flea treatment this week. Again the staff were polite and caring
