Fantastic experience: Our first visit to the hospital today with our beautiful girl Charm. I can’t praise the vet, Kate and the student vets, nurse and receptionists enough! So thorough, explained everything to us in terms we understood, and were so kind to our dog, we have decisions to make and Kate assured us she will be there for us and help us with whatever we choose to do! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I took our Cavvy “ Trev” to have an examination at the neurology department today , what AMAZING care he received , he is a really anxious little soul and he was treated with so much kindness and patience from everyone at the practice ! Massive thank you from us for all the patience and love and care you showed Trev today , he’s home safe and sound and fast asleep , all good and nothing major found which was the icing on the cake !

Fantastic experience: I used Langford vets emergency ooh service last weekend as my 13 year old rabbit needed to be put to sleep. The staff were able to offer us an appointment immediately, were informative and kind throughout the whole process. If I were to get another pet in the future, I would not hesitste in using Langford vets as my main vets. Thank you for being compassionate and helping me through a very difficult situation.

Fantastic experience: The best vets I've ever been to. Everyone is so lovely there and fantastic at their jobs. They listen to feedback such as making the waiting area more cat friendly, everyone seems so passionate about what they do and it really shows in the care they give. They are very patient with my anxious cat who gets very stressed out at the vets. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have taken both my cats here for tests and scans and both vets (marianna and sophie) who looked after my boys, were absolutely lovely and you could see how genuinely caring they were towards my angels.

Fantastic experience: This is a place you really don't want to end up. It means your beloved pet has come a cropper!. However, having found yourself here, you soon realise you're in good hands. Everyone who works here from reception to surgeons has an air of quiet professionalism. The treatment my dog received was fantastic. I don't know if he's going to live or not, but I do know Langford have given him the best possible chance. I don't have a lot of money and my limit was lower than I would have liked it to be but at no time was I made to feel embarrassed talking about money and in fact the treatment came in under budget (so far). If you have a choice, Langford is everything you could wish for when you most need it. The best advice I can give is , if your pet is in need, hand them over to these guys and rest assured, they're in the best hands. Thank you Langford.

Negative experience: Very dissapointed with this vets. Massively overcharged and didn't like the way the vet pulled around with my dogs face when the lump was clearly what I thought it was, an abscess. Incorrect diagnosis proven at a different vet who carried out a dental and confirmed the absess upon tooth removal. Signs of plaque on the tooth under the lump were a big giveaway but clearly not to the senior vet here. Was very dissapointed and felt robbed. Will never go back there again

Fantastic experience: Our poor puppy got bitten on the head and it was so traumatic. Langford vets did an amazing job at looking after her and keeping us posted on her progress. Fantastic experience: Our cat, Bonnie, recently spent just over 3 weeks with Langford small animal referral hospital, for radioactive iodine treatment, which I am delighted to say was very successful. We could not have wished for a more kind, professional and knowledgeable team. They were brilliant with Bonnie and they updated and reassured us at every stage. I cannot praise then highly enough.

Fantastic experience: My kitten is registered here. Friendly, knowledgeable nurses and clinicians. The reception staff are also brilliant answering all the questions I’ve thrown at them. I feel the kitten bundle is great value as is The Langford Club.

Fantastic experience: Could not fault this vet practice. My cocker spaniel puppy became unwell & was admitted straight away for investigations, he was unfortunately diagnosed with Craniomandibular osteopathy which is rare, especially in his breed. However, I was so pleased they were able to find out the diagnosis so quickly , at such a worrying time. Thank you to everyone who looked after him whilst he was staying with you, I felt reassured knowing he was looked after by you all. A huge thank you to Clare who was overseeing his case. I would highly recommend this vet practice to anyone looking for a good vets in the area, the reception team are lovely & helpful & the nurses and vets are amazing. Thank you for all you do, I am so happy Marley is able to be back home with us.

Fantastic experience: The care for our cat was good but during the operation there was a problem and it now has a bad limp. The cost is very expensive and they charge for even the smallest care again and again

Fantastic experience: Very professional and thank goodness they are there. Our dog had to have an operation on his neck and the level of expertise is first class. Hope the trainees take away the experience and become as top notch as these guys in their own practice.

Fantastic experience: I found a stray in the early hours of a Sunday morning, and these guys were super supportive and took him in. The staff I spoke to were really helpful, even when I rang in to check up on him. They all seem to have a really lovely approachable attitude and genuinely care for the animals that come through their door. I'd totally use them if I lived closer.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service when your worried about your pet and you need some expert advise this is the place

Negative experience: Less than one star really. Had a terrible experience. My bosnian rescue dog was admitted for post bleeding after an anal gland operation, vet James did tests that he did not have permission to do, told me she was positive for a test she had previously tested negative for, sent her to their veterinary center in Wells because they didn't have anywhere to put her out of the way of other dogs while she recovered from the bleeding. I had to pay the excess on my insurance and sign for all tests that i didn't eveen know was being done before i could even see her. When we got to wells they had been instructed by him to tell us that they were running more tests on her if they come back positive, which the tests are 90% accurate so they were sure they would, she will have to be put down. I brought her home a couple of days later, all the tests came back negative. The stress was unbelievable, and so not needed at a time when I was worried about my baby girl.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and friendly staff. Organized and efficient. If you prearranged it, you can collect your pet after hours if you work during the day. Wheelchair accessible entrances with lots of parking spaces.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with the vet at Langford vets small animal practice, he managed to get a muzzle on Perry, the 1st vet that has managed that feat. The worst case scenario could be surgery, he has injured his knee joint, we are first going to try anti-inflammatories and hydrotherapy as the least invasive treatment. The cost of treatment including consultation was no dearer than the vets in the high st.

Fantastic experience: Took our hippopotamus in there as it had dry skin, but they weren't able to treat it.

Negative experience: Great vets, professional and caring. Unfortunately, the company charged us for procedures that they didn't carry out and if you pay for medications there is a surcharge ( extra £ 400 for the medication plus the payment for the procedure that they didn't perform ) A mixed bag, check your invoice carefully.

Fantastic experience: I took Shadow here today for the first time. He has a mass & we don't yet know what the outcome will be, but the vet ( Francesco) was wonderful & the staff so helpful. I know he's in the best hands.

Fantastic experience: Refered here by our local vet after our dog had an RTA. Everyone here is highly skilled and extremely efficient. Also, of course, very caring. We had people waiting outside when we arrived to help get our boy inside. Once he was admitted, the surgeon explained everything really well, what the issues were, what our options were and the costs. Aftercare was top notch both in the ICU and the general recovery ward. Would recommend to anyone needing specialist vetinary treatment.

Negative experience: (Do your due diligence ) beware!! £12 a minute I wanted to know whether our Frenchy needed any sort of operations due to his breathing issues, We had a 30 minute meeting where the specialist took a look and a feel at our dog. £380 for the privilege and Insurance covered 60. No specialist tools was used just given some advice, ohh and some leaflets. To be honest I felt I could get all that information on Google in fact, most of what I was told, I already knew. Pretty disgusting really. Would have cost less to get legal advice or legal services.. (veterinarian Services taking advantage of pet owners. This is the pinnacle)

Fantastic experience: I am very grateful to the specialists of this clinic. I had to visit them for the second time today as my dog ​​ran away and was brought right here. Thank you very much for your sensitivity and extremely friendly attitude towards animals and their owners❤️My previous experience coming here was on December 31, when my cat suddenly became very ill. Almost all veterinary services were closed, and here we were given the help we needed. Thank you very much

Fantastic experience: Staff were absolutely fantastic, told us everything step by step phoned us every morning and evening. We didn't get the outcome we would have liked, but I take comfort in that they did everything humanly possible that they could.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would, they gave our lovely dog, Jess, a horrible drug called Librela for her osteoarthritis naively believing it had no side effects, it certainly does - our girl suffered terrible ataxia, back end weakness and eventual paralysis resulting in us having to say goodbye to her. If they had contacted the manufacturer, Zoetis, to check Librela's suitability for use in Jess then they would've been advised not to use it due to her pituitary adenoma making side effects more likely. I then had to email them multiple times asking them to report the side effects. No apology and a massive bill, which they chased us mercilessly for - even calling me right before Christmas when we were still trying to process our grief and trauma. I will never use this practice again and it has really damaged my faith in vets. Shame on you.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here by my vet and where do I start with Langford Small Animal Hospital ... Lovely people really even though they are payed to do the job but you can clearly see that they have a passion for it and they clearly want to help you and your pet to get the best outcome in order for your pet to have the best possible life after... sure, the prices aren't cheap but if you have insurance then it's very easy, for a very small fee, they will even do the hard work for you and chase your insurance for money, what more can you ask from them really, I was genuinely impressed about the services and would return here over and over again if I would have too... don't get me wrong, I don't want to return again as that would mean that one of my dogs is sick again, so I'm hoping for the best that they won't get sick again anytime soon, I'm doing my best to keep them as healthy as possible anyway but unfortunately you can't predict nature and what we had to go through . I would recommend them to anyone really, 5 ☆☆☆ +++ from me, keep up the good work guys !!!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful practice and staff. When my nearly 19 year old terrier/chihuahua had a 'strange turn' while we were on holiday we rang Langford Vets and were told to come straight away. Once arriving we were taken directly to a consulting room and soon Sooty was being treated with great care and patience. Thank you Langford Vets.

Fantastic experience: My dog years ago went there. I had tesco insurance thankfully for my dog. I didn't need to pay as I handed over the paperwork, they sorted all fees with Tesco! Treatment for my dog was exceptional, she stayed at Langford vets for 2 nights until well enough.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional service. I never want to take my pooches anywhere else, ever again! The time they take with my nervous dog just fills my heart to bursting. Fabulous humans doing fabulous work. The puppy paddock is a great idea too.

Fantastic experience: Langford Vets saved our 11 year old cat Fatty after he suffered a multiple fractured maxilla caused by an animal bite. The staff were informative and most helpful regarding options for the future. He has been left with a nasal fistula. This may require a future operation. He is now eating normal food, but it's still early days. As a pet owner, I would like to thank the staff at Langford Veterinary Small Animal Hospital.

Fantastic experience: Always very thorough and loving towards our two kitties! We live an hour away but drive up every couple of years to get the furries vaccinated. We use PureVax vaccine and none of the practices near us carry it. We have indoor only kitties and I love how everything is tailored to them and we're not forced to give them shots they don't really need. Fantastic experience: Picked our dog up this afternoon after 6 days in the hospital. This admittance was an urgent referral, can't praise the team at Langford enough, eased our concerns after a stressful 48 hours. We have had regular updates daily. On collection everything was thoroughly covered before we were given our dog.

Fantastic experience: Wasn't there long but the site is so pretty, spotlessly clean the reception is full of information and they provide refreshments and magazines and again so clean and tidy. The vet I saw was outstanding, she was so informative and friendly and nothing was pressured onto me she gave me all the options and reassurance I needed. I would absolutely use this vet if it was closer.

Fantastic experience: We had the misfortune of needing a referral to langford vets recently due to an injury to our dogs neck. We were seen extremely quickly by the practise with a thorough consult before advise on treatment options. We were seen by Faye, who really went above and beyond to help us get our dog out of discomfort and on the mend. She replies extremely quickly to any email questions or advise that we need and gave clear explanations of everything going on throughout the process.

Fantastic experience: If you've not got your pet insured you'll need a second mortgage! but the best care for it any animal

Positive experience: Brilliant vets couldn't fault them we took our boy in on the Monday as we had been battling for 2 months to make any sence of what was going on after consulting with our vets plus with Vale vets hospital we didn't get any further with a diagnosis or anything so Langford was the last result in which numerous of test were done bloods ect after exhausting every avenue they then booked him in for MRI scan plus a Lumber puncher in which by the Wednesday the 21st it was apparent it was a Brain Tumor in which I had been saying for a while. I wasn't best happy with the nurse that discharged Casper as when he brought him out through the doors he gave off a loud yelp and I said did you just catch his feet on the door he just said yeah sorry that's the only complaint I have with Langford other then that I would like to thank you all for the care you gave in the last few days that my dog had left Many thanks A Waite

Fantastic experience: Our Golden Retriever Dougie was referred to Langford Neurologist Tom absolutely first class vet friendly and calming, totally made us feel relaxed and well informed about all aspects of costs, surgery aftercare etc. Outstanding care and attention given by all staff. Would not hesitate to recommend Langford Vets small animal hospital your beloved pet will be treated with love, kindness and respect.

Fantastic experience: My boy, Hector, was admitted to this hospital as an emergency. Despite everything that was done for him, he was so ill that I had to make that heart breaking decision. I would like to thank Leo and his team for caring for Hector and doing everything possible to make him comfortable, especially at the end. I thank you for keeping me informed throughout his stay and for showing such compassion and understanding. This animal hospital is simply the best.

Negative experience: My dog has been seen here for the past 6 years for all her out of hours emergency treatment. I’ve needed her to be seen urgently by a vet today so called to make an appointment. The person booking the appointment made me feel unwelcome and a nuisance, an appointment was reluctantly made only to have someone call me back a few moments later and refuse to see her due to the lack of a mandatory blood test for brucellosis. ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: We visited with our beautiful rescue dog who seems to have a lot of issues. Sagi and the team were brilliant and gave us so much advice and support. We has to get a vet referral to attend the behaviourist meeting and had to wait a few weeks before we could be seen but it was well worth it. Really lovely place in a beautiful setting.

Negative experience: At the first points of contact they where very helpful and thorough. I was referred too them from my vet as my dog suffers from epilepsy. A few phone calls asking details of my dogs previous medical history. Then a phone call from Richard explaining the procedure of an VNS implant, only too be told at the end of the consultation that he didn’t know if they had an VNS device available. Richard said he would find out if they had one and would ring back to tell me. He didn’t, had too ring back and ask only too be told there was none left. There Webb site offers Vns but they cannot give this, they should remove this from there website. Absolute joke

Fantastic experience: We love Langford vets. Its nice to help out in a small way to to give trainee vets some experience. Always treated courteously. The receptionists love my dog they always make a fuss of her . The main thing is the treatment, first class with the senior vets always on hand to back up the diagnosis.
