Fantastic experience: We received wonderful service from all the team here. They are compassionate and efficient, I can’t thank them enough for the support they have given us in a trying time. They made a really tough time as stress free as they possibly could and really helped us in our journey of letting our beloved elderly cat go. They allowed us to be there the whole time and spend as much time as we needed after saying goodbye, which was something that made the experience a lot easier to deal with. I have had bad experiences in the vet practice nearby and it was a completely different experience in the Quedgeley vets4pets. We really felt as if they cared, whether it was regarding appointments or payment. They even sent us a handwritten condolences card, what a beautiful gesture. Fantastic experience: Can not recommend this company enough to pet owners. Everytime we’ve had a problem with our animals they have sorted it with care and compassion. They have gone above and beyond for our animals and for us. We can’t thank them enough. Special mention has to go to Shey and Amaan.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to these vets for about a year for our boy. And he was old I knew it was nearing the time. Zack was incredible and kind. He shared our concerns and genuinely cared. He spoke to Bentley and would stroke him while checking him over easing his nerves. When the day came to have him put to sleep unfortunately for us Zack was off that day. However Jake was just as good. He slowly explained everything to us and let us have as much time as we wanted. The room is small and clinical. If there was room it would be lovely for there to be room where it’s a little less clinical like a home from home. But that said I wouldn’t have wanted to go anywhere else. I trust them so much. And after the experience I had with another vet in Gloucester I lost all trust. Zack definitely helped restore my faith in vets. Thank you for looking after our beautiful boy. We miss him so much

Fantastic experience: Caring and compassionate, a week and a half half ago I found out my 4 year old girl has cancer . The vet we seen , Amaan has been nothing short of amazing , we are day 2 post op the whole team have been amazing answering the phone with all my worries and questions leading up to her op and now with her after care. Thank you so much for helping our Bonnie girl after having such a bad experience with my old boy who passed away vet clinic , you have restored my faith ♥️ the genuine care for the animal is clear

Negative experience: We lost two of our 4 pets in the year or so we were registered here. Our cat was referred onto Woods vets and recieved great care. Our dog sadly we were told had liver cancer and a very short time to live. We took her home for a few days on steroids but she was utterly miserable not wanting to do anything, eat or go for a walk. She was suffering. When we took her back she had not responded to the steroids and we were told she might only have a few days. It was implied we would take her home again on high dose steroids still/ wait for her to die, and I just couldn't understand why the vet could not give us the advice that she should be put to sleep. Instead we had to come to that decision on our own and didn't feel fully supported. The clinic was obviously busy and the vet obliged and fitted her in. There's no private room to go to, we just sat on the floor of the treatment room. We had our other dog with us and staff said they would look after her. We asked that they didn't let her see anything but they let her look round the door. We felt they were in a hurry to have the room back and we were then escorted out through some kind of theatre. It's no one's fault that us or our dog were were put in this situation but we felt it could have been handled better. We moved our pets here for cost reasons and to be honest after going through this I wish we hadn't.

Fantastic experience: We have 6 rabbits, 2 cats & 2 guinea pigs. The standard of care and customer service at this vets is excellent. Can't fault it. Highly recommended

Negative experience: Was absolutely amazing but recently gone down hill. Not impressed my dog is without medication due to yet another error. Looking to change and go elsewhere as my dog is suffering.

Fantastic experience: Simply the best vets in the area, Jake, Ben, Zak and Jess are without doubt the most professional and caring vets we have ever used, we have all 8 of our dogs registered and the new owners of our recent puppies have also registered too, we simply had to insist as there is no one else we trust. This practice should be seen as a flagship for your franchise’s, just the way it SHOULD be done. Well done all you are all amazing

Fantastic experience: The nurse checked Cass (my great dane puppy) and realised straight away that she needed to see the vet. Ben the vet saw her immediately, he fully explained the problem and dealt with it there and then. All the time he made sure I understood what was happening and he was so good keeping Cass calm the whole time.

Positive experience: I never had problem with this vet, but this last time I visited The vet with my dog The senior vet was quite rude and he was assuming I could Not pay the bill and that may be my insurance was not going to cover for it. He stressed my out for nothing. At the end my insurance paid for the vet fees My dog is fine.. Very unhappy with the general service this time.

Fantastic experience: We were recommended by a friend to register at this practice some years ago and we don’t regret following their advice. We have four naughty little pugs so naturally spend a decent amount of time here. Most of our dealings have been with Jake and Ben who are simply brilliant. Ben in particular has performed a few procedures on our girls for luxating patella and widening of the nares and soft palate trimming, all to great success. A big shout out also to Jess and Zack too, who we don’t see as often but are always lovely to deal with. Strangely we very much enjoy going to the vets! Front desk staff are also very helpful and bubbly and very assistive with insurance claims and making appointments.

Even though we moved out of the area - we would not ever change our vets and will happily travel the distance to see them. Thankfully this visit Bailey finally warmed up to Zac and showed very little fear and absolutely no aggression thanks to Zac’s quiet and distant examination and more importantly, patience

Fantastic experience: We love Companion Care - Gloucester, and so does our dog. He will run faster than his legs can take him into Pets at Home, past the toys and straight to the back where Companion Care is situated. The staff team in general are caring, kind and knowledgeable and are as helpful as they can be. The Vets, I have been in contact with all of them at least once Jess, Jake, Zack and Ben have all amazing, but Ben has become our Vet that we see all the time. Our dog has quite a few health issues and he has been with us the whole way, doing surgeries, referring where needed from personal experience with the same family of dog breed of his own to go by. He is calm, patient and understanding of my dog, his problems and also us as dog owners. I am a anxious dog owner, he is my little baby, and Ben has done everything he can to keep me updated when in a surgery etc, he will answer emails efficiently and call when I need advice. Daisy, one of the nurses is amazing as well, she has a great bond with our dog as well, she knows his needs as well as we do, and she has given us extensive help and guidance with our insurance claims and any questions we may have. Overall, Companion Care - Gloucester are a 5 star vets in my opinion, prices are high but aren't all vets?! so this isn't anything against Companion Care. The staff make my dog feel at home and safe and that's all I can ask for! Thank you guys!!

The care plan is excellent particularly as I have 4 rabbits, being able to pay monthly and being able to spread the cost is brilliant, and knowing they are protected, from disease, fly strikes is such a relief... Companion care vets are second to none, really care about animals and helping owners to look after them properly in an affordable way. I would recommend to anyone first class service in every way.
