Positive experience: We take our animals here, friendly professional staff. Poppy recently had her teeth cleaned and some extractions, she's alot happier now and can give kisses instead of having stinky breath. Charlie was poorly recently and they diagnosed heart problems, resulting in edema so deiretics where prescribed, he seems alot better now. Lilly had renal problems and she had a prescription, but passed away later poor little girl.

Negative experience: Not been impressed with service especially leaving staples after c section and histrecmory hernia repair gauze 4 moths later new owners have to take her another hernia procedure hernia back. Which i will mention this to vets.also our pups when going to new homes they have full check up as some goes for showing twice now the vet said jaws are all OK and bites and they have not been on a second opion . We spend a lot of money on our dogs and won't the best service I am disappointed with service .

Fantastic experience: Fantastic vet practice. The Drop-in works well and I’ve never waited longer than 25 mins to be seen, even when the place has been packed. All the staff are lovely and really take their time to listen and explain options to you - I’ve never felt rushed and I often have a lot of questions for them!! They are also superb at answering emails and/or WhatsApps - I usually get a response within a few hours and it’s saved me bringing my cats in several times. When they do need to see the vet or have medication, the prices are really reasonable. Thank you Hall Court for looking after me and my fur babies!!

Fantastic experience: We sadly had to let our little beloved dog go over the rainbow bridge a few weeks ago, the care & compassion that was shown to us every step of the way was second to none, Aimee walked us as a family through every step of the way, taking clippings of her fur and little footprints for each of us, we are beyond grateful for the care and compassion that was shown to us at such a sad time. We never felt rushed into a decision and we never felt judged. Thank you so much for looking after her.

Fantastic experience: We have been using Hall Court vets to look after our various Labrador's for 40 years, I think that speaks for itself alone, they have always been independent, caring thoughtful and have done the upmost for our dogs, especially this year with Maggie, who was seriously ill, they looked after my best 4 legged friend impeccably!

Negative experience: I am honestly devastated and extremely disappointed by the service I received this time. I’ve trusted Choice Hall Court with all my pets for years, and I always felt they were kind, transparent, and reliable. But after this visit, I no longer feel comfortable coming back. I brought in my three cats to be spayed. Only one ended up having the operation, and while I can accept that the other two may not have been in the right condition, I cannot accept the shocking and unexpected costs. One of the cats, who didn’t even have the surgery, was still charged £155. The one that did have the procedure was £260. What upset me the most was the situation with the blood tests. During the consultation, we declined the optional £30 blood test. Later, the vet called and said the test was actually necessary for them to assess whether they could continue with the surgery, so we agreed. On the phone, the staff member only said the blood test would be sent to the lab—no one warned us that this would cost £95. When I saw the bill, I was honestly shocked and felt completely blindsided. I trusted this clinic, and it feels like that trust has been broken by poor communication and unexpected charges. This whole experience has left me feeling upset, frustrated, and incredibly let down.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful vets, very professional and caring, went above and beyond. We lost our Reggie( westie) suddenly last week, which was a very upsetting day. But we were comforted by the fact that, that they done the very best for him. He came home today, such a caring and professional staff to the end. Thank you

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been taking my pets to Hall Court Veterinary Group’s Dinnington branch and I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough. The staff are always warm and welcoming, and the level of care they provide truly feels like a five-star service. The vets are exceptionally knowledgeable and take the time to make sure both pets and owners feel at ease. While there can occasionally be a wait for appointments, it’s well worth it for the quality of service and attention you receive. I also really appreciate that they’re independently owned, so you don’t get the extortionate prices that often come with the large corporate veterinary chains like CVS. Hall Court Dinnington is a practice that genuinely puts pets first — and it shows. Special mention to Steph, who has incredible knowledge when it comes to travelling overseas with your pets; Amiée and Aoife for their calming presence and excellent expertise; Laura and Lynne, who are amazing nurses; and Zoe and Lauren, the fantastic reception team who always greet you with a smile.

Fantastic experience: It was very hard day today taking Buster to be put to sleep after being with us for 16 years 8 months. Sophie the receptionist was asked to help assist us. Sophie was very professional kind and caring a real credit to the surgery. Thank you Sophie and everyone else involved.

Fantastic experience: Been going to hall courts prior to Steph, we would never change I have had 3 dogs registered with these guys ( one sadly passed 6 years ago ) I have always found them friendly and caring , when my second boy needed emergency surgery, they could not do enough l, it saved his life, we found ourself in need of their care again 6 months ago with on going treatment, there is nobody else I would trust my babies either than Steph snd her team. Negative experience: Will never use Hall Courts ever again. I had a poor experience here a while ago but only just had chance to put on here now that I've found a fantastic vets who actually know how to communicate with their customers and actually understands dogs. I even spoke to the owner at Hall Courts to try and sort the issue as my family had used Hall Courts for many years. Unfortunately the owner came full guns blazing, was very defensive and would not listen to my explanation as to why I was disappointed in the exchange I had with the vet nurse. I was made to feel patronised and judged. I was left feeling deflated, very upset and questioning where I had gone wrong with my dog. Thankfully there are good vets out there who are experienced with handling bigger more challenging dogs, just keep looking because hall courts isn't it. To give someone hope that may be reading this and having similar issues, the vet nurse at Hall Courts refused to go near my dog (who was six months old at the time) and called her aggressive but my dog has since had her spay and multiple operations elsewhere. Just keep looking.

Fantastic experience: Always a great visit here. All the team do their best to make your pets feel at ease when visiting. Their vaccines offer a great level of protection. The payment plans are really great too as you get discounts for using it and 100% of what you put in goes towards your pets treatments.

Negative experience: visited monday with my westie for an ear infection unable to examine was given 2 days medication told to come back wed.same week.charged initial consultation and medication.2 days later same conversation unable to examine charged another consultation and medication fee which they could have done on the monday.Forgot tried to sell me an ear drop costing £95 initially.Question what there real focus is on this practice

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusted, our dog was supposed to have only his nails trimmed and he came home with severe pain in his back legs, I have the impression that the vets in this place, whom we should trust by giving them to care for our animals - are not qualified for this profession, how can you hurt a dog by pulling his legs because he is disobedient? I do not recommend this place if you are looking for good care.

Negative experience: Spoken to some body known as ''Vicky'' who told that she is in charge and head receptionist. An arrogant and full of herself person. We have attended this surgery many times before and the staff are usually helpful and nice. Two receptionists told me in the past (4 months before) that they take the help of a person who takes bloods from animals, works privately and charges money for the services, and brings the blood sample to them. This person, the name possibly was ''Charlotte'' didn't work for them but helped them. I was given her mobile number also by the receptionist whom I unfortunately lost and hence all this incidence. This person ''Vicky'' told me that they never had such person available and that they have never given such information. Extremely unprofessional and arrogant behaviour.

Negative experience: We recently took our 1 year old dog to this practice due to him hurting his back leg through playing. The first person we saw mentioned it could be his cruciate ligament and mentioned a price of around £3500 for an operation if required, which xrays would show if this was needed. Having x rays taken and medication which cost £500, we was informed the xrays would take up to two weeks to determine the injury. 5 days later after the xray my wife received a phone call wanting to book him in for an operation to which was a surprise because we had no results. The next person we spoke to said the xrays hadn't been sent and the vet confirmed this Very annoyingly I asked why they wanted to book him in for an operation if they don't know the injury? 2 hours later after my anger, we was told the xrays had been looked at and it could be his hip or patella or then again not? Our dog by this time had returned to full fitness and was absolutely fine. The owner of the practice apologised saying she told her colleague to phone to arrange an operation. Based on supposition our dog would have been put through an ordeal not necessary at all. The staff on the phones are also rude and sniggering laughter from a young boy called Tom was heared over the phone. The staff never asked how he was just more interested in commiting us to have him operated on. This practice is all about money and no care at all. When you place trust in someone and to have it taken away coldly and totally unprofessionally it makes you lose all faith. STRONGLY AVOID THIS PRACTICE ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY THEY CAN GET FROM YOU.

Fantastic experience: Took my dog in for a castration, 1 testicle was retained. The vet we saw (Emily) was excellent throughout the experience. The dog has been recovering well, and the operation was successful and neat. The follow-up appointment was free and helped to way lay any concerns. Obviously, it's not cheap, but not as bad as some.

Fantastic experience: My boy had a grass spur in his ear canal.today he was in a.lot of discomfort ..the vets were fab got him in very quickly had to sedate him as it was deep but he's OK now be it a bit drowsy . Bit pricey but the service was quick ..friendly and professional advice given....ashame they don't accept payment direct from pet insurance though it.only takes a.few days !

Fantastic experience: This is a lovely vets, they are often very busy but they give each and every pet and owner the time and dignity they need on a triage system. We have just had to have our cat put to sleep and they gave us a room to be away from the other animals while we waited for our appointment. They put us and our cat first and explained everything in a calm and considerate way. They let us stay with her until her last moments and were good with our 8 year old daughter as we all grieved. Would 100 % recommend.

Positive experience: Took my gsd x malinois rescue dog for his very first visit Roxanne was very patient with him as he is quite reluctant when being approached by people he isn't familiar with. All in all it was a pleasant experience for us would recommend hall court it's nice not to see the eyes roll to the ceiling when the dog doesn't engage for a few minutes

Negative experience: Paid £45 to have a Nurse put flea treatment on my cat's back where he was able to lick the poison, he was extremely distressed, panting with mouth open, when I phoned them up, there was little concern for my pet and all they said was I'd have to pay extra as it was out of hours. Not happy.

I have tried to take it with a pinch of salt over time but the customer service skills are so bad I feel like I need to say something. She talks over me when trying to explain what the issue is as in to rush me on like she does not have time for me, very blunt and rude attitude. I’m wondering whether a client facing role is right for her when she seems to hate talking to people?

Fantastic experience: After our beloved dog Jack took poorly on Sunday 2 weeks ago I rang Hall Court who we had been with for a long time and explained we couldn't get Jack to the surgery as it would be too distressing for him Amy the emergency vet said she would come out but she had an emergency in the surgery, she kept in touch by text and came as soon as she could, she was very caring and compassionate with Jack and didn't hurry or influence us into making the decision to put him to sleep and reassured us after that we had made the right decision, both Amy and her vet nurse were so lovely, Amy gave me the number for the crematorium and said to let her know if there was a problem, they were closed so I rang Amy and she rang me back with another number she'd even rung them to make sure they could take him. Thank you Amy for making a very traumatic day that bit easier

Negative experience: Genuinely one of the worst vets I’ve used . Poorly organised. Misdiagnosis numerous times, generally a lack of care . Terrible

Negative experience: My dog was unwell so I took him to this vets as it had been recommended. The vets were very good and quickly diagnosed my dogs condition. I had to take him back several times for blood tests and monitoring and soon became aware that money was the main focus of this practice. He spent a day with them as he was dehydrated and was told that they would bring him out when we had settled the bill. Unfortunately his health deteriorated and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanise him. My husband called them and rather than express concern all they talked about was the fact they'd have to charge £140 just to look at him as it was out of hours. Absolutely no empathy at all. I have no idea who makes their policies and understand it's a business but surely the well-being of the animal is what's important. Needless to say We took him elsewhere where his final moments could be treated with dignity. I've mailed them to express my disappointment but have had no reply. I think this speaks volumes. I would certainly never use this vets in the future!

Negative experience: Took a lost, injured cat here and asked to be kept informed before a decision was made on its future as we had people who would finance it's operation and treatment. We found the owner but by the time they arrived it had been put to sleep without contacting us. Shocking lack of communication. Glad I haven't got my pet registered here

Positive experience: Vets are pretty good, but it's a walk in first serve service, so check house busy they are, if its not a life or death situation, you could be there a while.

Fantastic experience: We unfortunately had to put our loverly girl shar pei to sleep this Saturday. We wanted our vets at wildboar worksop to come to our home to do this as our shar pei was very poorly and couldn't walk , we couldn't carry her as she weighed over 36kg and we are in our 60s and didn't want to put our pet through anymore discomfort. We called hall court vets and explained and the lady we spoke to came out to us within 2 hours. We can't thank you enough for what you did for us and our dog. She is now out of pain and discomfort. The vet reassured us we was doing the right thing and she was lovely. Wish all vets were the same thankyou. R.I.P PUDDING

Positive experience: Been a customer for 20 years and staff are always great and vets very friendly, efficient and empathetic. June 22 update - Still a very good veterinary practice. Staff very friendly and professional. Gets a bit crowded at times but handles the post covid new normal well.

Negative experience: There more interested in charging you out of hours charges than caring for your pets £167 pound for ten mins at 11 clock. How is 11@m out of hours I've used these for a while but will be goin elsewhere. Sent a email Friday and heard not a peep back. Didn't even check my dog out properly had injuries they didnt even look at cos they couldn't be arsed

Positive experience: Some of the staff needed to show a bit more empathy towards the clients owners especially at sad times. I accept covid did not help.

Negative experience: I'd avoid this place at all cost staff are not helpful and the prices are extortionate! Times are hard enough as it is then you get places like this charging well over the top if not double of said other vets! £82.50 for a puppys first injections what a joke!
