Vets for Pets - Milton Keynes: Reviews
Fantastic experience: We have had an incredible experience with Vets for Pets who have been looking after our 20.5 year old cat, Nico. They have put us at ease, and treated Nico like their own cat - which has made us feel a lot less anxious. The vets, nurses, recepetion and pharmacists have been on hand whenever we need them, have been so helpful over WhatsApp, ensuring emergency vet consults are arranged and have been supportive with exploring remedies to help support Nico. They have not been pushy with getting us to try routes we aren't comfortable with, and have been honest with us every step of the way. I was initially nervous bringing Nico here, as we wanted a vets closer to home, being quite a big, corporate vets linked to Pets at Home however I would recommend anyone to bring their loved companions here. Even on our first visit, where they were finishing up building works, the owner (I believe) took time out to find out our pet's name, to come and speak to us personally to apologise for any wait or disturbance which I felt was a very personal touch. Probably the best vets I have been to in my many years of owning pets, and I would recommend highly!
Positive experience: All the staff are very friendly, and always provide the best possible care. Only negative is that vets are expensive.
Negative experience: A complete joke! Receptionist made a big deal about 4pm being the latest a nurse will work for our pet to have after surgery care laser therapy, so we moved what we could around to do those times, unfortunately i was too unwell to attend but an hour and 30 minutes later, my wife is still waiting with our pet to be seen! When my wife approached reception at the hour late mark, about whats the hold up and how much longer she may have to wait, she is simply told the nurse has gotten a little held up and will try to get to her when she can. Not good enough to me, no care or concern for how long my wife's been waiting, after such a fuss that 4pm was the absolute latest we could get this appointment and we certainly would not be able to have rocked up an hour and half late without consequences!
Fantastic experience: Just noticed that I left my review for these folks on the Pets@Home link. The whole store is well managed with lovely staff, but I just want to put my specific Vets for Pets review here. Hope that's allowed. ("Cleo" is a feral stray that I adopted when she was pregnant...) Once again, I'd like to compliment everyone's treatment at the Milton Keynes "Vets for Pets". We had a nurse (Emma) for our appointment - which saves a bloody fortune - and she was extremely thorough. She was slightly concerned about Cleo's gums, so took her out back for the vet to inspect. It turns out that the vet in question (Yasmin, I think?) was the same one who did Cleo's neutering and she said that her teeth are perfect and her gums are actually improving. Amazing, given her hard start in life. Cleo, not the vet LOL. We also had the opportunity to thank her (via Emma) for her incredibly tidy (neutering) surgery work. What looked like an ugly scar turned out to be a scab that fell off a couple of days ago. I know people who've had keyhole appendectomies that aren't that tidy. Incredible. Lastly, Emma wasn't faking her love for Cleo and the kittens. She idly stroked all of them with genuine affection while assessing them, and even after she was done with each of them. I'm afraid she might've spoiled Ruby! Thank you all, especially Vicky, Emma, Yasmin and of course Lynda, who did so much for us when Frankie passed away. Your love and compassion is well above and beyond, and I know all six of our kitties appreciate it! HIGHLY recommended. Kitten tax...
Negative experience: Vets4Pets Milton Keynes you massively failed and let us down and all you can offer me is a memorial plack and a sorry I'm actually so angry I don't even have the words.. We paid for a cremation service of our dog that was supposed to include paw prints & clippings of his fur, we never recieved the paw prints or fur as they did not do it!! I will add this wasn't something we was expecting to have to do with our dog or we would have done these things ourselves had I known they were going to fail us like this. I can never get those paw prints back! Its breaking my heart i can never hold my boy again unless its a god dam box! The one thing we all wanted was those paw prints! I can never see him again and you took the one thing we wanted away from me and my family by not providing the full service we paid for! And all I get is a sorry....
Fantastic experience: Kirstie is such a wonderful caring and helpful vet. The nurses and reception staff are equally helpful and polite. They have payment methods to help with bigger bills. They really care about pets and owners. Would never consider going anywhere else! Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: I'm honestly so shocked at the negative reviews here :/ I just came on because my bully girl was extremely sick last week and the staff at Vets4Pets really looked after her so well that I felt compelled to write a good review! Last month she also had to be spayed here and I was worried sick something terrible would happen! Again, everyone from the receptionists to the vets and nurses were absolutely wonderful - They're so friendly and attentive! My Bambi girl has the neatest spaying scar I've ever seen! Last week we really thought we were going to lose her after intoxication and by the time I went back to pick her up she was back to her old self again. I'm honestly so grateful for the service these vets provide and it makes all the difference to have such a kind and friendly team, the receptionists and nurses reassure you and treat you with so much care and compassion! The vets are also so thorough and make sure to explain everything to you properly before they go ahead and do anything. Thank you to everyone at Vets4Pets Rooksley, my family and our Bambi girl appreciate all that you have done for us
Negative experience: Awful! Beginning from reception to nurses vets. If you don’t love your job go work somewhere else, rude ppl don’t deserve to work with pets. Appointments never on time, usually late 30/50mins by causing stress to pets. It’s well overpriced place and you not gonna get services you been paying for. Avoid this place.
Negative experience: Awful service, management are disgustingly rude, staff can’t manage simple medication requests and hang up on you when you call up with a complaint! I’ve stayed at this vet’s for the last year for convenience despite the extremely high costs vs other local vets, but their poor service and rude staff are the final straw for now leaving and signing up elsewhere. If you’re looking for a new vets, do NOT use Vets4Pets.
Negative experience: If you’re gonna close the practice randomly for 2 hours in the afternoon without any notice at least have someone at reception so people can come pick up their pets medication… an operation with no common sense.
Negative experience: Firstly. Most importantly. Low score is not for the good people who work here. They do a great job. But - boy - does this company take the p on price. We love our pets. Vets4Pets love to drain our wallets. Any drug or service we’ve needed for our pet has been available for about half the price from elsewhere. Thyronorm? £80 a bottle (should be £40). Dead pet disposal? £79 (£30 elsewhere in MK). I want to swear now, but that would lead to this review being rejected. Go elsewhere if possible, please.
Negative experience: Awful. It is over two weeks that I am waiting for my dog treatment, had tick and flea check and they didn’t even touched the dog. I had to pay for the prescription to buy the treatment elsewhere and they sent an incomplete prescription so the shop can’t ship the treatments, but it magically arrived at their shop after I purchased elsewhere. I will never use this service ever again.
Negative experience: Why has my review been deleted..?!? Here it is again…! Morning I attended Vets Now out of hours on 7th July 7:30am - Walnut Tree MK with my Cocker Spaniel Betsy with suspected vestibular disease . I’m NOT impressed with the vet that saw her. She had ZERO bedside manners - especially when paying such an extortionate consultation fee £309 just to walk in the door! No smile or warm greeting…just ”can you get her on the scale”. Which I did, she then commented “that’s some weight” or words to that effect… which got my back immediately up. The dog has had an awful start in life (rescue dog) and has been on steroids for 4 years - to comment, THREE times on dogs weight - without knowing her history is bang out of order, very judgemental. Negligent when dog was on the table (I’m one side and vets another side - dog was in with vestibular disease so very shaky/no control) my dog almost went over on her side and would of fallen off if I hadn’t of grabbed her…..shocking and lack of attention and care. The coldest/worst vet I’ve ever seen, no compassion, no empathy or talking to soothe dog or me and seemed like it was the last place on earth she wanted to be. I regret that I didn’t tell her this at the time..(!) Vets Now seems very much a money making practice rather than genuinely care for your pets.. Reading the reviews for Vets Now in Milton Keynes this isn’t a one off, nor is it difficult to fix/do. They need some customer service training! I’ll now be looking to change to independent vet who does their own out of hours - I won’t be held hostage to your out of hours ‘service’ and extortionate prices.
Negative experience: They have grossly mistreated my cat. Because of their laziness, my cat has had to undergo surgery twice within two days all because they couldn’t be bothered to wait for him to do a wee so that we could know his bladder was working and they removed his catheter within 24 hours because he was too lazy to put it back in. Seems like a money making scheme to just keep your pets sick so you keep coming back and keep paying. The vet was extremely rude, turned up one hour late for our appointment (where we were bringing our cat from the emergency vet centre) and didn’t even apologise. I am mortified by this vets. I have had previous bad experiences with this vet but this has been the icing on the cake. No concern for my pets welfare clearly. Before a scan he required a small shave and the vet absolutely hacked off his fur. Absolutely disgusting. The vet needs to find a new field to work in as clearly he isn’t suited for this job. If I could give 0 stars I would. Everyone please please please be aware when you bring your pets as no pet should have prolonged suffering all due to laziness especially when you’re paying insane amounts of money for them to look after your pet. Everytime we call up receptionists are rude and uniformed about insurance policies. They demand payment straight away and said they were going to put my cats treatment on hold due to a £15 payment shortfall despite overcharging my insurance by crazy amounts we have to argue with the receptionist every time because they honestly don’t know what to do. It’s extortionate and unethical. They are now saying they might have to put my cat to sleep over complications that could’ve been avoided if he had been treated and looked after properly the first time.
Negative experience: All they want is your money and offer nothing in return! The reception is very unprofessional and keeps you on hold for at least 30 minutes. We recently had our two cats vaccinated and chipped with them as required by law. When we went in to do the same for our third cat, the process of chipping resulted in severe, nonstop bleeding. Later, we received a confirmation email from a completely different company than the one where our first two cats were registered. We called them for an explanation but were told that no manager was available, which is completely unacceptable. We then sent a complaint to their CEO but received no response. This place is a massive disaster; please avoid it.
Negative experience: Absolutely disgraceful, I had lost our beloved dog Red, who I did everything to protect due to laws, we lost him suddenly in his sleep during the night, after a lengthy discussion with vets4pets MK I paid for single cremation and his paw print to be taken and returned me, I was going to take the paw print myself but the service was offered to me from the vets so I thought it best to pay for it to be done professionally, they FAILED to order the print which I paid for, they advised me this was a mistake and that they are sorry but this kind of mistake is unacceptable and cannot be undone, I urge anyone that wants to do this to make sure you do it yourself as there mistake has cost me deeply and is not something that can ever be fixed.
Fantastic experience: Always super helpful and friendly. Put my little dog (who HATES the vets) as ease. Thank you!
Fantastic experience: Good clean reception, the vet was very good and handled my 14 year old Jack Russell with care.
Fantastic experience: My rabbit was transferred to Milton Keynes from letchworth due to a dislocated leg from the start it was explained what he had done and how they planned to put pins in his leg to secure it until mended etc, they have been amazing with Dexter they kept us up to date with phone calls and messages on day of both his surgeries, his surgeon, receptionists and nurses have all been so lovely and caring and it's clear they all love animals....well done and a big thank you to all
Negative experience: Money orientated. Poor service. Always running 30 mins late as minimum. Over priced drugs. Multiple visits for things that you would expect to be diagnosed straight away... diff vet everytime and inconsistant info. Good news is you save £7.50 for the repeat consultation and you will be back!! (absolute joke of a place) Use Any. Other. Vet!
Negative experience: Absolutely terrible service. Every time we take our dog to see the vet we are having to unnecessarily attend two to three appointments per time before being issued any kind of medication, diagnosis or treatment. This has left our pet in distress and discomfort several times now for prolonged periods. The last two occurrences our pet has suffered for a total of 7 weeks for not being treated timely or correctly. This way of working is raking up the charges for the consultations and the wrong medication and just wasting everyone's time. We have been asked to send pictures of our dogs symptoms, but the vets then telling us they cannot diagnose anything from a picture, we have to come in for an appointment. What is the point of sending pictures? Every appointment we have ever attended has been between 15 to 45 minutes later than what has been booked which is exceptionally disruptive as they are always during working hours. My husband has been overcharged for treatment and then not had it handed to him. They do not care about the animals welfare only the fees and money. They fob you off on multiple appointments to increase the charge. We are furious at the service provided from the last few times we have been and will be changing as a result of this.
Fantastic experience: Can’t thank all the staff enough for their support and love they had shown when my little boy fell asleep. When I went to pick him he was in a beautiful box with card and paw print that was requested. They listened and cared when I was upset. Every time I spoke with them they helped and sent me well wishes. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic experience: Had one of my dogs in for the day for an operation yesterday. From the get go Matt who performed the operation was amazing!. Greeted me and my pup in the morning , Helped me at ease with my concerns, answered all questions and then kept the communication all day with every step that my dog was going through. Never had a problem with any of the vets there but Matt yesterday deserves a big 10/10 for looking after myself the client and my dog. ❤️
Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend them, the reception are always rude and come across as snobby, my cat was neutered and she was sent home still half whacked out she wasn't event put in her carrier proper one of her legs was bent back my poor baby I had to move her out into a made bed for her, she couldn't even move she shouldn't have been let go that soon, she was far to weak, I also had to lift her head out of her water bowl in the middle of the night her breathing went all funny. So I was not impressed,I also find them to be money oriented (not the only one who thinks this) And they were not understanding of financial situations,in general I find them to be very cold hearted surgery with rude staff
Fantastic experience: Very good service very friendly staff. My dog had a blockage in his intestines. He had to have an operation turned out he'd eaten some wood .very happy with the service
Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic service from Matt today with our fear reactive Cane Corso. Our dog felt very comfortable with Matt examining him, as did we! He can be a very difficult dog for Vets to examine but Matt took it all in his stride. Not only that, after having 3 or 4 different veterinary opinions in the past, Matt immediately confirmed our own thoughts on our dogs eyes, finally we now have a treatment plan in place after 3 years of previous vet examinations! Thank you so much Matt and Leian
Fantastic experience: Good knowledgeable vets, I've used them for my dog and rabbits as they have a couple of vets who are trained to look after rabbits
Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Vets4Pets in Milton Keynes more highly! We had to rush our dog Lexi in recently, when she was stung in the throat. We were able to get an immediate appointment and she was rushed in for diagnosis and treatment. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and clearly love animals. Particular praise should go to Lynda who also had to look after my wife when she was taken ill. The whole process was very professional, and our insurance details were kept on file, making payment easy as well. Thanks for your help!
Negative experience: The one star is for the receptionists one in particular who was rude to my partner in front of other clients , she really isn't a good advert for the practice, she is after all one of the first faces you see and seems like she isn't interested at all. That said the veterinary side cannot be faulted matt and his team were absolutely brilliant in caring for our cat (5 stars for them) i would recommend them to anyone but would also warn anyone about miss miserable on reception who claims on her profile that she is always smiling not seen that in two and a half years
Fantastic experience: My dog had surgery here recently. We have been most impressed with the quality of care given to her. The op itself went really well. We received a good amount of quality communications throughout the day, follow up care has been so good. We have all felt very well looked after by what is a kind, caring, and highly professional team.
Negative experience: I would never recommend this practice again, I made the mistake of taking my dog here towards the end of her life and opted to take her home for euthanasia to be carried out privately. I then find that my poor dogs information had been wrongly shared in a professional capacity causing severe emotional anguish within my family. When discussed with their practice manager about this breach of client confidentiality, their sloping shoulder response was 'we don't know which member of staff it was'. Now they have the audacity to chase for the remaining amount that her insurance didn't cover (£138) after the amount of hurt that they caused over the distributing of these lies about the welfare and treatment of my dog. Don't take your pet here unless you want judgement and to be harassed for money that wouldn't even go anywhere near compensating for the amount of pain caused through a member of their staffs actions.
Fantastic experience: I have a very nervous dog and i dread for his annual vaccinations but the guys in this branch have great confidence and very helpful which helps with my dog. I highly recommend
Fantastic experience: Customer service was great, the consultation was excellent, my appointment was on time. Everything was good for me. Thank you so much.
Fantastic experience: staff very helpful and sympathetic towards me and my pet Tommy when he was very poorly .Very professional service and would recommend to all thank you for your assitance it was very much apprecaited and my Cat Big Bad Tommy is on the mend thank goodness
Fantastic experience: I have always been very happy with the Reception Team. They are always very friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable about treatments that my pet is currently on and the problems she is having. I never feel rushed and the Vets are so ready to. Help and explain anything that I need to know to be able to follow any treatments that I may have to continue at home. I have always been very happy with the whole Team and appreciate everything they do for owners and pets alike.
Fantastic experience: We have used this Vets4Pets Rooksley team since moving to Milton Keynes in 2004; they are amazing and every Vet and team member in Huw’s team never fall below expectations. They are, quite simply, extraordinary.
Fantastic experience: The receptionist team are always lovely there, they seem to really like animals themselves and comment on the animals or speak/stroke the animals. It’s good when they show they care. The vets / nurses again are always nice and friendly, there. We have one pet who has been with you for ten years and we registers our newer dog there also, even though we live a lot closer to other vets.
Fantastic experience: Have been using Vets4Pets MK for over 12 years now. Highly recommend. Great people, great service, amazing care.
Fantastic experience: My experience for the past 5 years with my cockerpoo and for the last 14months as I now also have a yorkie poo has been excellent.. always helpful .. would never want to change this vet practice
Fantastic experience: Everyone is very friendly and helpful sometimes the information can be contradictory from vet to vet on the odd things. Expensive for some treatment but overall cheaper than most places. They should not make patients pay £7 for 7 normal paracetamol that is not necessary.
Positive experience: We always get good service here but waiting times on the phone can take a long a while.. a few instances of 30mins + (maybe victims of their own success in this regard) once in though the team are very professional and you feel in very safe and competent hands. Treatment is pricey but comparable with other alternatives. The vets always offer good advice for aftercare as well so provide a very complete service. I would very much recommend.
Positive experience: Lovely service from all the staff here. Often difficult to get through on the phone but very helpful and kind once you do
Fantastic experience: Lovely vets, glad I've brought my elderly dog here they are very caring.
Fantastic experience: The intention of ,my visit was top collet working and flea treatment for my dog. I didn't have to wait long to be seen, answered a few questions then within a few minutes received the treatment.
Fantastic experience: Friendly and professional at all times, explained the procedure in layman's terms by Vet Raya. When I called for an update, Jasmine Nurse, advised she had been giving her plenty of cuddles, while she waited to be Spayed. Very reassuring.. My Dachshund Rolo, came out a little groggy but relatively happy considering.. One Highly Satisfied Customer.. Thank you
Positive experience: Vet himself was very professional while caring an compassionate. Receptionists very friendly and helpful. Did not like the fact that for 3 days there were no appointments except for few emergency ones for premium price. Bit shady. Last year I had an emergency and been told to come in and wait, yes it was extra but it wasn't scheduled appointment.
Fantastic experience: My dog has dog aggression so waiting in the waiting reception was a problem but the vet asked anyone when I had finished to please sit in another chair so I could control my dog on way out so helpful and friendly love all the staff there
Fantastic experience: My experience with vets4pets MK (Rooksley) has been a very good one every time we needed them for any of our pets and sometimes for the painful experiences as well the team here has been great in comforting us and finding the right way to help, Janine from reception has been very kind , compassionate and reassuring. Thank you for everything ❤️
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, fun store to visit even just to have a nose around. Vets team are great, really good with our little furry monsters.
Fantastic experience: Both nurses explained everything thoroughly and were both very warm and friendly which puts you at ease when handing over your beloved pet. It was very clear when we collected Charlie , from the nurses feedback , that he had been very well cared for. Thank you
Positive experience: Very friendly staff, know their stuff. Has split seating for dogs and cats in the waiting room which is a great idea.
Fantastic experience: There is no problem with vets4pets but we experience a problem when we got home our pet dog Caody had a fit within an hour after returning home. we are not sure if it was an effect with the booster jab he had but he did have one after the previous jab so it may be allergic reaction. Vets4pets have been informed and they have noted it in there records.
Fantastic experience: A friendly place where all the team are helpful, and do their best to put your pets at ease. My sometimes nervous dachshunds are happy to visit.
Fantastic experience: The vet checked my rabbit thoroughly, to make sure she hasn't get any dental problems which my put her off her food and explained how to administer her medication.
Fantastic experience: Janine on reception is a delight. Always so friendly. All the staff love Bentley. Kirsty the vet had researched Bentley's illnesses and explained everything to me. Im always made to feel at ease
Fantastic experience: The vet I saw was absolutely lovely Very sweet and caring to my nervous dog and very thorough in her assessment she wa amazing.
Fantastic experience: Friendly reception staff. Clean and tidy waiting area. The lady who treated the cats was amazing, gave us lots of information and answered all our questions
Fantastic experience: Huw is an excellent vet and has been looking after my dogs for 15 years now. He is patient with my moody chihuahua and always goes many steps beyond. Bridgette is Coco’s favourite nurse and will only allow her to do her mani pedi, she always finds time to fit her in so that she is comfortable. I’ve never had a negative visit and there’s been many over the years.
Fantastic experience: I have never met a 'bad' member of staff at this practice. The reception staff, vets and nurses all go above and beyond. On previous visits ive suffered with panic attacks which i presume isnt in the job description of any staff there to do anything about but they were so kind and attentive to both my dog and me. Its so heart warming to feel such care in that place. I am so grateful to have them locally :)
Positive experience: I had been going to this practice for 2 years. I only changed now because we moved away. The vets are really professional and lovely. My only gripe with this place was that I encountered the same rude woman at reception a couple of times. E.g. she dismissed me when I asked about insurance claims and has just a general rude demeanour of talking to people.
Negative experience: Paid for medicine for my poorly dog. Told would receive a call when it arrived but no contact, left messages but still no reply and dog in serious pain. Now having to find medication elsewhere, not happy!
Fantastic experience: The receptionist was very polite and I was very impressed with how quickly I was able to get Dylan in to be checked. As it was an emergency, I felt that my dogs needs were met straight away. Everything was explained to me fully by the nurse and the vet. Both were absolutely lovely and I even liked being shown videos to help me understand what was wrong with Dylan. My overall experience was impeccable. I was told that Dylan would have to have an operation on his teeth however, the price of this is very high but I know it needs to be done. I just wish the fees of everything wasn't so high. That's the only thing I would say. Not everyone has that amount of expenditure. We will have to save for Dylans' operation. Apart from that, I am so impressed with everything from the minute I walked in, to the minute I walked out!
Positive experience: As mentioned in a previous answer, I didn't know that if your booked in with a vet, you may get transferred onto another vet list if they're available. I will make sure Scooby will only see Huw or Matt, as he knows them both, and he's just getting used to them!!
Fantastic experience: Can not rate everyone at vets4pets enough. The care and compassion they showed not only my dog but us aswell unfortunately it was not an outcome any of us had hoped for but the care they have given us has most certainly helped and its a comfort to know they cared so much for him in his final moments.
Fantastic experience: We were given emergency appointments for the last 2 visits due to the seriousness of our dogs illness. Everything was carried out with kindness and efficiency. The process was stressful but the vet was understanding and very helpful
Fantastic experience: The staff are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. I think in these tough times at the moment the staff are coping very well. They are always ready to answer questions on the phone. I would recommend this practice to any one that needs a good vet.
Fantastic experience: Always so helpful whenever we have needed their services. They never make you feel that you shouldn't be their and genuinely care for the pets that they see. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: Vet nurse was excellent with both our kittens, they're now a year old, there was a bit of delay going in for booked appointment about 20 minutes, worried with kitten's being in cage, Vet made up for ,surprisingly the kittens both behaved and in good health, thank you all, excellent team customer service
Fantastic experience: I have only joined vets4pets since January 2022. And so far all I have been met with is, kindness, understanding and patience. It is a lovely place go and u will never feel unwelcome.
Fantastic experience: the staff where very knowledgable and put us at ease when explaining. We were able to pay and book new appointments with ease. Having earlier opening and late closing is also great.
Negative experience: Such a shame we have had to leave the practise . Some of the vets are good kirsty has been brilliant but the communication and set up is a joke always messed around don't share information with each other and don't up date systems or leave notes on account ,the receptionists apparently know more about your animals than you or the vet . Introduce policies don't tell you even though you are paying for the service then try to pretend it's a legal measure. Gone down hill massively. it is just a cash cow now no care .
Fantastic experience: The staff were all very caring and looked after my cat Lucky extremely well when he had to be seen an admitted as an emergency . Great service!
Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Vets for pets for a few years now and they have taken care of them so well. They keep my pets at ease and help them have a comfortable experience which is a priority for me. The staff have been incredible and so kind and professional. At this current moment I cannot fault them at all. I’m a very happy customer. I feel they care about my pets as much as I do.
Fantastic experience: Excellent vets. They had a look at Emily who had a tick .They removed it for meat no charge. We had joined the total care plan so they gave us a tick collar and changed her flea treatment to a tablet.Everyone was very helpful ,it was a pleasant experience.I would recommend this practice.
Fantastic experience: Friendly. Wasn’t impressed with my first appointment prior to this one. Waited over 1 hour passed my schedule appointment- my kitten was upset - she pooed everywhere in her carrier. It was a traumatic experience I wouldn’t want to experience again. Visited again and it was great! I do like vets4pets. They are very knowledgeable and I got seen straight away. It is a busy surgery
Fantastic experience: This was our first appointment with the vets. Outstanding customer care from start to finish. Friendly, knowledgeable, caring employees
Fantastic experience: Fantastic lovely staff here. Really good pricing too. They really do give fantastic care & attention to your pet. Everything clearly explained. The only place we trust to treat our dog Bentley.
Fantastic experience: Phoned as an emergency as my practice doesn't actually have a vet atm, and the best they could do was 60 mile round trip to their sister surgery. Was so impressed I have now registered both my pets with them.
Fantastic experience: I have been having appointments with Vets4Pets for more than 11 years, for my little dog. I have always been impressed and satisfied with the service I have received for my pet. I have an annual check up and vacations for my pet.
Negative experience: 4 weeks to get an appointment. Waited 35 minuits after my appointment time when only 3 other people were there the whole time. They forgot I was there. Dog had a mouth infection came out of there with artherites tablets. Six months later only after insisting she had her teeth cleaned, they also had to pull 2 of her teeth out. She suffered unnessary all that time.

Fantastic experience: Ive never had to book a vet before for my pet, the whole situation was easy to manage, I was worried about the wellbeing and the vet at the time had talked me through everything, answering every question with no issues. Will be coming back if I ever have any issues :)

Fantastic experience: from the moment "Milo" was booked in the reception staff made him feel special and myself comfortable. He was given treats both before and after his appointment. The lady we saw gave him a thorough check and explained very clearly the problems. As a pet owner it was really nice to visit a vets where the pet and not my wallet were the primary concern. The price i paid for the care and attention given by all the staff we met could not be better value. Milo was booked in as an emergency appointment as he was not registered with a vet and i am very grateful to all the staff and i could not have found a better practice to take care of him.
Fantastic experience: Friendly reception staff and very good communication through email and text, especially reminders for flea and worm treatment. Vet was very good with our pup kind and caring. Only negative when reception give advice they don’t ask who your pet is. Example; I Phoned to speak with a nurse and the reception lady gave great advice however she did not ask about my puppy or his history or document my phone call and advice she had given.
Fantastic experience: Friendly caring helpful service from the vet and reception couldn’t have been more helpful explained everything thoroughly right down to the receptionist going through all the plans to make sure I was happy very very good service
Fantastic experience: Great team of vets and lovely knowledgeable reception staff. I was able to get an appointment at short notice and follow up the next day and discuss different treatment plans for an unexpected but serious issue with my dog. I'm very grateful for all the staff and the service received over the last few days.
Fantastic experience: The staff are lovely there, very attentive and helpful and are brilliant with the animals. My dog Ruby is strangely so excited to go to the vets she always wants to go out the back with the staff. Can’t praise them enough.

Fantastic experience: The Vet was very welcoming to Rosie and put her at ease. She recognised that Rosie was a little anxious so advised against having her claws clipped (they were not too long anyway) on this occasion. She was absolutely lovely.

Fantastic experience: My cat had got into a fight and really damaged his leg/paw, I rang and reception were really good at keeping me calm, consulted with the vet and gave me advice and got me an emergency appointment that was within the hour. When I got there they were really nice and the vet explained everything to me and made sure my cat was comfortable and gave me advice and signs to look out for. Reception team even asked afterwards if he was okay and showed obvious interest in his wellbeing I couldn't have asked for anything more
