Trinity Vet Centre: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Looking at some of the negative reviews, and as someone who worked in the customer service industry a very long time, I can guess that most are probably those types of customers you absolutely dread to see enter the building. A one sided fake ‘truth’ because something didn’t go their way or they were perhaps called out on their inappropriate behaviour. I’ve always found the staff to be polite, hardworking and caring towards my pets. Thank you for all that you do :)
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 5* review- the team appreciate your kind comments :)
Negative experience: Rising costs, reduced service, and add-on fees. I recently attended Trinity Vets for my dog’s annual check-up and vaccinations, and unfortunately the experience felt disappointing compared to previous visits. The appointment felt rushed and less thorough than I’ve come to expect. I had to specifically ask for my dog to be weighed, and only minimal checks were carried out overall. Despite this reduced level of service, the cost has increased. The visit came to £68, which felt poor value given how limited the examination was. On arrival, I was also ignored by two reception staff who remained on the phone throughout, which didn’t create a welcoming or professional first impression. During the consultation, the vet asked whether I wanted a urine test, but no explanation or clinical reason was given. I agreed, assuming it was a routine part of the annual check-up. Only afterwards did I ask reception whether there was an additional charge. They didn’t know the price, had to ask the vet, and returned somewhat awkwardly to say it would be £48. I found this extremely concerning — I could easily have been charged without informed consent. The vet himself was pleasant, but overall this visit left me uneasy. Rising costs, reduced service, and add-on fees that aren’t clearly explained are worrying trends. It’s no surprise the government is now pushing for greater transparency around veterinary fees. I’d advise others to ask very clear questions about what is included — and what isn’t — before agreeing to anything.
Thank you for your review. We don’t appear to have a record of your appointment. Please contact the
practice directly and we’d be more than happy to discuss your concerns
Negative experience: A terrible vets. Receptionists rude and uncaring. Please see numerous reviews stating the same thing. Care provided in an emergency situation was not up to standard. Asking for half of the estimated cost when my cat was having emergency procedure. Even when I was crying there was no compassion shown. Because I told her she was unprofessional and uncaring, I was banned from going in there again and wanted my daughter who has autism and struggles to communicate to go in alone. The manager is also very rude. Not a good place to go In response to your reply, please read the many other reviews which reiterate the rudeness of reception staff. It isn’t just me. There is no reason to ring or have any communication with yourselves as you hate any form of criticism. A good veterinary practice would listen without acting like a toddler on the phone, hanging up or banning someone!
We would like to assure you that the entire team is dedicated to the welfare of our patients and we are saddened to hear your comments. We would also like to reiterate we do not tolerate any form of abuse towards our team members. The manager has not had any communication with yourself, however if you remain unsatisfied with the treatment Luna received, please contact us directly in writing on [email protected] so we can investigate your concerns fully.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant service for my elderly dog’s wellness check

Fantastic experience: Thank you for the time a very nice people that work there and I had a nice and good chat with the people as they have done my ferrets very nice service and they are very caring about the animals and it was a pleasure thank you
Hi Brad, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review, we really appreciate it :)
Fantastic experience: Good service all staff are caring
Fantastic experience: We travel from the other side of Croydon for our Chinchillas to be treated here. Can't rate all the staff highly enough.
Hi Aly, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review, we really appreciate it. Always a pleasure to see you and the Chinchillas!
Negative experience: When my guinea pig had overgrown molars I felt helpless, so I tried my best to find someone who can help but due to my lack of experience, it was something I don't want or any beloved animal to go through again. I have been to two local vets in Sidcup and one exotic vet in Maidstone. I visited Trinity "experts in exotic animals" because of the positive reviews, my hope. Bibi was examined, this time the gentle lady vet used a special scope and immediately identified the problem. When the vet left to get the paperwork, I didn't expect it to be my last moment with Bibi. He quickly climbed up to my chest to seek for comfort, who then felt at ease when held, starts to purr and nuzzle its head against me... I signed the contract for them to go ahead with the dental works; the vet did not mention going under general anesthesia will kill my pet, actually, no vet mentioned about the risks of GA. I left my guinea pig overnight. By next morning, she phoned me about Bibi's death caused by anesthesia complication; all apologetic of what happened and to cut the £150 charge in half then mentioned about cremation costs if interested... I felt devastated to think. Saying sorry won't bring him back especially if the animal is in no relation to you. Sorry, I made the fatal mistake of choosing you... Bibi, I feel I have failed you for leaving you in a strange place overnight and sending you to your premature death. I understand if it is a big operation when GA is needed but if not then the vets should find a way to adapt. Some larger animals young and healthy, also die of GA if it is just a routine teeth cleaning. Now, the only solace I get is I am able to post pictures online of my Bibi to state he actually existed. Cat and Rabbit clinic in Northampton was recommended by TEAS, a sanctuary for guinea pigs. The dental work is carried out on a conscious guinea pig to avoid the repercussions of GA. I wished I had known this before putting my brave little soldier through unfortunate encounters. Bibi, was a quiet, very friendly and very affectionate Swiss breed guinea pig. The other picture is his buddy Lunkarya breed, Wiggy. You will be missed! xxx Swiss breed, 2 years of age. Passed away on Tuesday 2nd August 2016. RIP Bibi Here are the copy and pasted correspondence from TEAS: Simon Maddock is the vet who treats all our dental piggies and people travel the length and breadth of the country to have their guinea pigs seen by him. In almost all cases, he carries out dental work without GA. The only time he needs to do the initial dental under anesthetic is if the teeth are so overgrown that he can't get a file into the mouth to safely carry out the procedure. Because Simon does the dental work without GA, he can do follow up treatments regularly, therefore keeping the teeth in good shape, whilst the guinea pig starts to eat for themselves again. Then as the teeth begin to improve, the time between dental can be extended. In over 50% of cases the dental issues cure completely, whilst most of the other ones only need a quick tidy up of the mouth every three to four months. A few piggies need more regular dental work, and they can be managed very easily and without distress to the guinea pigs. All piggies are wrapped and held firmly by a nurse, whilst Simon files the teeth. The guinea pig isn't tipped backwards, but held in a normal upright position on a table, with all four feet on the table. Simon holds the head with one hand and uses the other hand to hold the file. The only reason TEAS exists is because we have Simon Maddock as our vet. We have had so many piggies arrive here with severe dental disease and in most cases, they have gone on to live a really good and long life. Monty needed two weekly dental but lived to the grand old age of 7 1/2. We couldn't have maintained his dental disease if he had needed a GA every time. I have been very disillusioned by a lot of exotic vets, as they just seem to want to make as much money and are not willing to even try to do the dental work the way Simon does it.
Negative experience: Good luck affording to bring your pet here. They are so expensive and don't even think to tell you that they are planning on using treatment and ask if that's ok. Nope here's the bill thank you!! Don't understand why they cant be transparent with charges.
Fantastic experience: Our local vet for our tortoise. A brilliant vet with lots of knowledge
Negative experience: Been a customer for years of this vets seen all the staff be made redundant to be taken over by a corporate company and been told to take my business elsewhere so I am. Pay for pet club was due to collect my medication wasn’t ready when went to collect now they will not give it to me and had a really rude women on the phone on the phone telling me she was ending the conversation and in a sarcastic manner saying byyyyeee. Listen to the call but as you told me you were going to at the end of our conversation without informing me before thats also illegal!!
Fantastic experience: Really friendly staff and very very knowledgable when I visited regarding my tortises - cannot fault at all and would definately recommend!
Fantastic experience: Had to get a emergency appointment & my dog was seen within an hour. The vet was fantastic & now Arlo is showing people his bandaged poor
Fantastic experience: Very friendly caring practice. Very reassuring when you are a worried pet ‘parent’
Positive experience: We had been using Trinity Vets for years for our cat. They used to be great, but sadly our recent experience has been dreadful. We noticed that the service we experienced of late had been reduced, with a very mixed experience. Our cat developed an allergic reaction to her annual vaccine last year, which resulted in her fur falling out and her skin becoming infected. We had several trips back about this issue. We were told by the vet to call ahead to book this years appointment and they would source a different vaccine / carrier product. I called 3 weeks ago and explained what was suggested at last years appointment and although our initial response was met with confusion, I thought that this request would be addressed. However two days prior to our appointment I was called to say that they were unable to source an alternative vaccine and it was suggested that I called around for a new vets. I find this appalling that this was the only solution. It was like take it or leave it, even suggesting that we didn’t vaccinate our cat. We found a new vets who have used an alternative vaccine and also injected our cat in an alternative site as opposed to the neck.
Fantastic experience: Excellent everyone at Trinity vets was helpful friendly and gave us time and helpful information on going forward with Speckles our Cockatiel Thank you to all at Trinity
Fantastic experience: Very good and very helpful and very polite definitely going there again and will highly recommend to any friends and family My first appointment was with Mark and he was very good and helpful
Fantastic experience: Started taking my rabbit here back around February/March time as we were having a bad experience with another vets. Personally I didn’t think my rabbit would survive as the infection was so bad, we were having to consider putting her to sleep. However Mark changed those thoughts and completely turned things around. From the minute he saw her he knew exactly what to do and was very caring towards her condition. After a few months of many appointments on strong antibiotics and cream, she is a changed rabbit. Happy and healthy again all thanks to Mark. Would highly recommend him.
Negative experience: The same conditions keep getting diagnosed differently by different vets (or even the same vet upon occasion). Different medications are constantly recommended at a additional cost. We were encouraged to sign up to pet plan to save money. Now although we get free consultations the cost of the prescriptions has doubled. Also the flea / worming medications included changed as soon as we signed up for the plan!?
Fantastic experience: Freindly, kind, professional and I trust them with our dog 100%
Fantastic experience: I take my tortoise here and they always very good with her, saving her life twice now. Very friendly staff who are always helpful and accommodating. Free parking and easy to park. Fair pricing compared to other vets.
Negative experience: This vets has gone down hill. They don’t handle pets with care and sensitivity anymore. And when you question their handling they blame it on your pet. Not even an apology from them. Very unprofessional.
Positive experience: Years gone I would have recommended here 100%, but not so much these days. There's still some staff here doing amazing work, such as Olly and Emma, I cannot state how good they are, but other factors have brought this place down. They've been having staffing issues for months now, which has led to the week being shortened, and thus less care to go around for everyone. I can recall a time where they came back off from a bank holiday, which added further problems for the customers with the staffing issues, to be put on a waiting list to be seen and having to chase it up several times and go nowhere. Or be told "next week", contacting them next week and being told "no, it's still next week" which wasn't what was said. In the end we went somewhere else. Not all the vets are exotics, which I wish was stated up front. We had one gentleman refer to his book from vetinary school for our rat, which didn't instil confidence.
Fantastic experience: Been here a few times with a hamster and now guinea pigs and they are very professional and well organised, and the other pet owners all seemed happy. They treat almost all pets including reptiles and small mammals and rodents and dogs and cats. Not sure about birds.
Fantastic experience: Lovely staff with very good knowledge on tortoise care and health
Negative experience: Sad to leave a negative post. I have to say the veterinary nurses on two occasions and the vet was fantastic. I initially joined the practice in 2021 and initially staff were fantastic. Fast forward one year later, on the day of my pets appointment I had unexpected car problems, therefore I phoned the practice, informed them and apologised as this meant I would be late. I stated I was happy to pay for the missed appointment or I could attend shortly after. The way I was treated and spoken to appeared to insinuate I was making an ‘excuse’, bearing in mind unexpected events happen. Following this appointment the practice suggested/recommended the monthly payment scheme which I looked into and joined due to the discounts etc. Unfortunately I had unexpected personal circumstances and had to come off of the scheme. I phoned the surgery explained financial difficulties I was experiencing and explained I would pay the outstanding amount at the end of the month, which I did. They lacked empathy with regard to my situation. Since then in 2023, each time I phoned for an appointment the receptionist would keep me on hold for a while pretending to ‘search for appointments’ and come back with ‘we can book you but this is on a private basis as you’re no longer on the scheme’. I reiterated each time I was fully aware and choose not to re sign up to the scheme. The tone with the receptionists voice change, clear judgement and poor treatment made me decide this was not a veterinary practice I want for my pet. Whilst I completely understand and appreciate this is a business, it really comes down to how a business treats their customers. The way I have been made to feel on many occasions has made me lose faith in being seen there. I have not since returned and would not recommend to any friend or family
Fantastic experience: Very caring, friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. Vet was very informative and caring with my cat. Trinity Vets have been the best Vets my girl has been registered with, highly recommend them!
Fantastic experience: Absolutely first class experience... Thank you Mark. We learned a lot and as a result of your advice, look forward to many healthy Parrot years with Elvis.
Negative experience: Extremely disappointing experience. I had a health check-up appointment for my dog, which is part of the pet health plan I pay £29.99 per month for. Upon arrival, I was kept waiting for over 30 minutes because the nurse, Nicole, noticed that my dog had recently visited. Based on that, she decided to take another client ahead of me and left me waiting. When she finally called us in, her words were: “I don’t know why you’re here because your dog had a recent visit, but I can still provide the service if you’d like.” That was shockingly rude. My response? I’m here for a service I’ve already paid for. It’s not up for debate. Due to that unprofessional attitude, I had to leave and return the next day. On 9th June 2025, I submitted a urine sample for my dog as part of the plan. I was told that someone would contact me by the end of the week, as the test was to be processed in-house. Today is 23rd June 2025. I have received no call. I’ve called three times myself to ask for the results, and each time I was told that someone would call me back. The last time, I was kept on hold for 7 minutes. This is unacceptable. It’s become quite clear that Trinity's first priority is not your pet’s well-being, it’s your wallet. When I send complaints via email, I’m met with vague excuses from Laura and empty reassurances about how “great” the service is. Frankly, that’s insulting. If your service is really as good as you claim, where are my dog’s urine test results? And why am I being treated with such disregard & disrespect? Let me remind you: without paying customers, there would be no business, no salaries, and no practice. The level of disrespect shown is astonishing. Lastly, the reception area, including the chairs smelled awful. Do you follow any hygienic cleaning process at all? I sincerely hope this message is taken seriously. I will escalate this matter to the appropriate authorities to highlight the negligence shown towards pets' well-being.
Fantastic experience: Amazing team at Trinity Pets - excellent service - I would highly recommend. We travel quite a distance for their reptile care, which is fantastic.
Negative experience: The service provided isn’t bad. But bloody good luck getting in contact with them. Every phone call is a 10 minute wait. That’s if they even answer. Further Edit; do not use this vet for exotic animals. There is a vet available to help maybe once or twice a week, and when they are in, you usually get forgotten about. Took them 2 weeks to test a faecal sample, that I was told would be tested the day I dropped it in, if not then it would be the following day. 5 separate occasions (after waiting 10 mins for them to answer the phone each time) in the 2 weeks I was told; “sorry there is no vet here today, try again tomorrow”. Eventually had to seek help from another vet, and cancel my reptile health plan. Definitely would not recommend.
Negative experience: Mistake after mistake after mistake. Insurance claims are a nightmare. There is no real follow up. They make a mistake and don’t really attempt to resolve it. No after care or follow up. I’ve made a handful of claims and they’ve mishandled two thirds of them. Honestly, stay away from these guys if you value your sanity. They are truly inept. Please please not reward incompetence. Stay away.
Negative experience: Professional scam artists. I brought my Pomeranian to Trinity as he was clearly in distress. The initial consultation lasted no more than 10 minutes which resulted in a steroid injection, costing £80. We had no issue with the cost if it genuinely addressed the problem, and we were advised to return if the injection didn’t help. Unfortunately, that night our dog was extremely restless so we returned the next day, as instructed. Despite being seen just 18 hours earlier, we were charged another £53 consultation fee and fobbed off with only painkillers - bringing the total to another £80. We were told once again to return if the medication didn’t work (you guessed it, at another consultation fee charge!) The whole experience felt rushed, dismissive, and more focused on repeat charges than on our dogs well-being. £160 down and no interest on their behalf of finding out what was actually causing our dog distress. We have now taken him elsewhere and had a much more pleasant experience.
Fantastic experience: Took my tortoise to have his beak trimmed. They did an excellent job. Thanks.
Positive experience: Vets seem ok not sure i stay as they wavered my fee for cats I rehomed pepper and Smokey and they billed me other day for them annoyed me not sure now I want Trixie stay with them
Fantastic experience: Trinity vets are fantastic. We see Mark for our Chameleon and he has been amazing. The nurse is lovely too and so is the lovely receptionist ( the one with blonde hair) sorry don't know your name. Would highly recommend
Fantastic experience: The vet seemed like she new what she was doing and they see all sorts of animals which is why I chose them as most other closer wouldn’t have been able to see my bearded dragon, price was £45 for a checkup, not too bad considering what it said on the website and what other practices probably would’ve charged, got seen a little late but other than that was all good, the check was thorough and vet was able to properly diagnose stuff and give good advice
Negative experience: The vet was fine. But the gerbil came in quite perky. Just over twelve hours later and their request for feedback arrives as my daughter and I are mourning the poor little thing dying in my hands. I’m upset about the gerbil dying and also upset that it cost me £100. I can’t believe that I was charged a 400-500% markup on medication. I was so hesitant to bring the gerbil in as it was a real push for us financially just to have the consultation but the cost of the medicine was ridiculous especially after a 30 second google when I came home I saw the differences in price. I feel so upset and feel like I have been scammed. Absolutely heartbroken.
Fantastic experience: Lovely people, always very friendly. The practice is clean and I've never had cause for concern. Very happy to bring my cat here
Fantastic experience: Second time ever having to take a pet to the vets. I came here the forst time around 6 years ago and so glad I came back this time too! Came in on wednesday with my adult male green iguana 'Rusty' with suspected mouth rot. He was issued antibiotics and pain relief and the very next morning he started eating again (hadn't eaten for a week prior) and the mucus build up on his tongue seemed to have just fallen off which is excellent! He seems to be back to his happy head bobbing self! Highly recommened! Thankyou!
Fantastic experience: Fantastic practice. Warm welcome and a very professional consultant who looked after our small bird.
Fantastic experience: Trinity vets as usual is excellent. Harriet is knowledgeable about guinea pigs and clearly loves them. She was able to help me consider the options and there was no pressure on me to choose what to do. My guinea pig seemed to trust her to receive a needle without any fuss.
Fantastic experience: I have visited Trinity Vet Centre several times and they always provide such a fantastic service. The staff on reception are always incredibly friendly and helpful, both in person and on the telephone. Also, the Surgeons, Nurses and Assistants are knowledgeable, caring and empathetic. I can see why so many people travel such large distances to visit Trinity Vet Centre, as they have such a fantastic reputation - I can see why. Please keep up the great work, as you provide such an important and invaluable service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fantastic experience: Excellent experience and my dogs were far less stressed than I expected knowledge vet that helped with behaviour advice and put the dogs at ease while they were having their vaccines Friendly welcoming reception staff I am so pleased I found this vet
Positive experience: Vets are nice and treated me and my tortoise really well, always had a pleasant experience with them, apart from today. After telling the receptionist I was there to drop off my tortoise to be cremated, she proceeded to say "Perfect, which plan are you choosing for the cremation?!" With the cheeriest of voices. Surely she could have followed with an "I'm so sorry" or something like that, but no. It was extremely transactional, she didn't even say anything remotely nice to a person who was on the verge of crying because her pet passed away. I wasn't happy coming here, and I'm leaving a bit worse.
Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough about this vet practice. Receptionists are always friendly and welcoming. Nurses and vets are caring and provide the best advice and five star treatment. I wouldn’t take my dog Nellie anywhere else. The most genuine place.
Fantastic experience: The best avian vet. Our parrot was handled with care and confidence while making out he was being murdered.his treatment was quick and precise to limit any stress .
Fantastic experience: Trinity vets looked after our cat Patch over her 17 year old life. They were fantastic with her, reassuring us of the best care throughout our cats life. On Saturday we sadly had to say goodbye to Patch and Richard (who was Patch's favourite vet) was caring as always making sure our last moments with Patch were the best they could be. We could not have asked for better care for Patch or us. Thank you Richard and all the wonderful staff at Trinity vets.
Fantastic experience: The vet was extremely professional and reassuring. The waiting room and reception were very welcoming and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a loo. I thoroughly recommend this practice.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback
Fantastic experience: Excellent veterinary practice, especially for our exotics. Can’t recommend enough, especially if you have guinea pigs comatose is, Birds, what other exotic species. Really really good
Fantastic experience: This is the best vet we've ever had. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, communicative and caring. I needed an emergency appointment for my dog and they fit me in right away, took excellent care of my dog, and were empathetic, helpful and accommodating with me and my special needs son. I felt very welcomed and helped during a stressful time!
Thank you so much for your lovely review.
We hope Uchuu is recovering well from his food stealing!
Negative experience: They only pretend to be exotic vets.to cash in on the gap in the market. Don't take your exotic pet there whatever you do. My experience with them has been horrendous, false diagnosis, missed diagnoses and alot of money wasted and the unnecessary death of my bearded dragon. Incompetence is off the scale. You think your pet is being seen by a qualified vet, you are not told they were a junior trainee..
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you felt the need to change your review. I have tried to check our system but it only shows appointments from 2022.
We take all feedback seriously and if you would like to make a complaint or discuss your feedback please call or email us at the practice.
We only have qualified vets seeing our patients, although we will sometimes have student vets watching practice, these students are never allowed to lead consults for sick animals.
Negative experience: Excellent caring vet. The vet that I saw has left. Had no confidence in the vet I have seen recently. Do not take your pet to be euthanized. We have had a terrible experience. Our dog was petrified. They wanted to take him away from us to have a cannula put in. I begged them to let him stay with me but they insisted on taking him and said they would be 2 minutes. He was gone for 15 petrifying minutes. We kept asking where he was as they had said 2 munutes. He finally came back to us and I spent time calming him down. The vet came in to do the procedure. Halfway through the needle came out of the cannula she had trouble getting it back in. So I feel the cannula was a waste of time and his suffering being away from us for that long wasn't justified He finally passed.
Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of Toby.
Thank you for your review and we are sorry that you were unhappy with our service, especially on such a sensitive appointment. We value all feedback and if you would like to discuss this further please contact us at the practice or by email.
A cannula is always placed in these types of appointments as it will keep intravenous access open even if the needle slips (and we do not need to poke with a needle more than once, just place the needle back into the already placed cannula). It also reduces the risk of the anaesthetic agent used going under the skin and causing further discomfort or pain.
Fantastic experience: Amazingly friendly staff. Always a warm welcome for human and pets alike! Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!
Thank you for your lovely review and the very handsome picture of John! <3
Fantastic experience: Amazing team and incredibly knowledgeable. Started initially with taking my guinea pig following referral from Vets4pets as they felt he needed more specialist care and I wouldn’t ever take my guinea pigs elsewhere. Richard especially is amazing and empathetic, with unmatched expertise and all of my guinea pigs have been so comfortable. Very grateful for all of the support from Trinity and the additional time we got with our furry friends as a result. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much for your lovely review and kind words.
Fantastic experience: Outstanding and compassionate service. The staff, especially Lauren & Emma (and I’m sure other staff behind the scenes) went above and beyond and we are truly grateful. Would highly recommend Trinity Vets.
Thank you for your lovely review.
Negative experience: I brought my hamster in a just over a month ago for an appointment and wasn’t impressed with the service at all. Communication was poor. Also was trying to force my hamster into a surgery that I couldn’t afford and only offered that or putting her down and said that she would only have a few days to live. What a lie that was as she is still alive now bless her and I could have put her down for nothing a check up and a brief scan costed £60! The vet barely did a thing with my hamster and for 10 minutes costed that amount. I will not be returning honestly very dissatisfied with the service. All I wanted to do was have my hamsters teeth trimmed down but after all the hassle and false information I declined to have it done. I said no to the surgery in total 3 times and when I went to pay I was told about bring my hamster back in the next day for the surgery which was nearly £500! Which by this point I snapped and said I have told you 3 times now no I cannot afford it. Emotionally trying to get me to budge to pay for the surgery just to get money out of me is shocking.
Thank you for leaving us a review and we are sorry you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service.
I cannot seem to find your details on our system but if you'd like to contact the practice we can investigate the complaint.
Fantastic experience: Was recommended to this vet practice. Really lovely vet who gave my tortoise Galileo a complete check over , answered my questions and was very informative about tortoises and how to look after them. Will definitely be back. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.
Thank you for your kind review
Fantastic experience: A very Professional and friendly service. We recommend Trinity Vet Centre to our family and friends with exotic birds etc. Thank you all Munchkin now happy again..
Thank you for your lovely review.
Fantastic experience: Thank you Richard for giving Sosig our elderly dwarf hamster another 5 and a bit months of happy and active life with us by removing her tumour. She sadly left us a few weeks ago, cuddled in my hand, but she was loved, cherished, and treated like the queen she was for every single extra day we had with her thanks to her successful surgery. We will never go to any other vet now.
Thank you so much for your kind review.
Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say Thankyou to Richard and the staff for caring and understanding that no matter how small a pet is they are very precious. I miss my little Guinea Pig, Nugget, but I know that she got the best care I could’ve wished for at Trinity’s. Much appreciated and highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: Can't speak highly enough of the people and care. Lovely practice. Everyone is attentive and friendly. They all appear to love what they are doing. The vets are very knowledgeable, I have a leopard tortoise, and take time to explain things clearly. Cost wise, as vets go they are very reasonable.. Bonus: they have parking
Fantastic experience: We were recommended to go to Trinity Vets by our local vet because our rabbit was very poorly and Trinity Vets were more knowledgeable with the problems our rabbit had. When we then became the lucky owners of our miniature Dachshund we stayed with Trinity Vets. We travel from Gillingham so it’s not local to us but we want the best for our pets. The staff are all very calm and caring towards our pets.
Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this practice enough. We have a 5 month puppy Roscoe. He is our first pet so whenever I had questions or worries, I would reach out asking for advise and the staff would always reply to me very quick. Thank you, team and keep up the good work
Fantastic experience: Wish I had known about this vets before when I had younger dogs, they are very friendly at reception and the vet also. Didn't feel I was being ripped off as price for consultation and medication was reasonably priced. They also have a scheme for you to pay into to avoid big bills or unexpected treatment. So I can't praise them enough, and bonus they are open on Sundays.
Fantastic experience: Amazing staff , receptionists are always warm and welcoming , the vets Richard, Harriet and Alex have all been amazing with all our animals ( MAINLY BEARDED DRAGONS) , as we rescue them we do t always get the good news we want to hear but all staff here are always there for a hug . All I can say is thank you all so much for what you do and your lovely condolence cards we receive. Highly recommend Trinity vets .
Fantastic experience: Richard has provided an outstanding service looking after Roxy when she needed her microchip and vacinations. He took the time to help her feel comortable and relaxed, even offered her few yummy treats which she really enjoyed. Thanks to Richard's patience and calm approach I am possitive that Roxy will be happy to visit Trinity Vet Centre again when is time for her check up.
Fantastic experience: I really recommend them; kind, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and respectful of your opinion as the animal’s human! This is a great place for an animal to heal and get better. Thank you
Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to go if you have exotics. My leopard gecko had a huge abcess behind or under his eye, came to see Richard ( awesome guy ) who quickly saw what the problem was, basically popped the abcess and loafs of gunk came out, had to feed Rex a liquid type diet as he wasn't feeding himself, but today is the day he had 8 yes 8 waxworms so hopefully he will carry in eating and now start to put weight and fat back on. Thank you to Richard and Harriet who basically saved my baby dinosaur Before and after photo's
Fantastic experience: Very helpful and caring. The first guinea pig (Barney) we took there unfortunately had to be put to sleep. The vets/staff there were very caring and you could see they really care about the pets taken there. We took one of our other pigs(Toffee)there yesterday for an eye injury and he received a full check up and some medication. Again excellent service. A couple of days after Barney passed we received a card from them with his snoot and paw prints on. A Really nice touch and kind words which really helped my son. Highly recommend them. Thank you
Fantastic experience: Totally trust Richard and Harriet with our guinea pigs, their understanding of how these gorgeous but sometimes complicated little creatures function is great.
Thank you for your lovely review and beautiful picture! ❤️
Fantastic experience: I've been using Trinity Vets for the last two years for my cats. They're always lovely and helpful, listen to my concerns and fit us in same day when they have an issue. Staff genuinely care about animals and it shows! Really recommend.
Thank you for your wonderful review and beautiful pictures.
Fantastic experience: Just had my 2nd visit with my tortoise to see Richard. Such a friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring vet, and all of the reception staff are so friendly and welcoming. Prices are reasonable too. Well done.
Thank you for your lovely review and kind words
Fantastic experience: Very good... We were concerned that our Lab my have ingested something whilst out in the park.. He seemed decidedlynunder the weather.. Just took A phone call and the practice fitted us in within the hour on a bank holiday Sunday... It turn out or lab was fine but we were greatly reassured after he was thoroughly examined and assessed .... Never delay if you're in anyway concerned about your pets heath ... Greatvservice from all at Trinity Vet Center..
Thank you for your kind review. If anyone is ingesting things on walks it's the labradors! Hope he's doing ok. ❣️
Fantastic experience: Our little Hamster was unfortunately misdiagnosed at Vets4Pets so we got a second opinion and saw Richard at Trinity Vets who knew straight away that our little one had open pyometra and not wet tail, as originally diagnosed. Unfortunately our little one didn't make it but Richard and the entire team were amazing with her and tried their absolute best. Thank you to everyone at Trinity for your compassion and for trying your best to save our little girl. I would highly recommend anyone who has a hamster or a little furry friend to sign up to Trinity Vets as they are specialists and have so much knowledge. We can now only wish we found them sooner.
Thank you for your lovely review and kind words. ❤️
Fantastic experience: Our tortoise had an overgrown beak so took her in to have it filed down. The vet checked her all over, weighed her and took her off for her beak work, which was done there and then in a few minutes. Very happy with the service and information given and also very happy with the cost.
Thank you for your lovely review
Fantastic experience: Highly recommended for support with chickens! If, like us, you keep chickens as pets and feel treatment is money well spent, then you will get excellent service here. Often, you hear of vets who always resort to put to sleep, but we've always been offered the opportunity to try treatment, often successfully.
Thank you for the kind words. Chickens are family too ❤️
Fantastic experience: Easy to find, no problem parking and they did a great job at a very reasonable cost. I live in Tunbridge Wells but none of our local Vets handle so called exotic pets and one of my Parottlets needed a beak trim which was soon carried out, thank you.
Thank you for your lovely review
Fantastic experience: Excellent service from the team at Trinity Vets, especially Harriet. We were very reassured by her knowledge and calm manner when dealing with our parrot
Thank you for your lovely review
Fantastic experience: I came here with my older guinea because our normal vet had said over several visits that she wouldn't survive investigations under GA due to her age and weight loss. (I am assuming it is because they aren't specialists - they have been fantastic with my dog and cats in all fairness). They recommended to euthanise her. I decided to be stubborn and ask Trinity for help. Richard saw my girl and assured me she would survive investigations under GA and risk was minimal. After Xrays, dental checks and blood tests, turns out "all it was" was an ear infection stopping her eating. Wish I had changed vets sooner (for the piggies). With several medications and syringe feeding she is starting to put weight back on and can continue to nag her younger sister some time longer. If I had listened to the previous vet my baby would now be dead over something so fixable. I am so grateful. The team was fabulous, booked us in immediately. Best of all asked to bring both guinea pigs so neither was lonely. I never experienced a vet team before who truely cares about small animals. Treated them as wonderfully as I could hope. They even treated the guinea pigs' teddy bear and his ear infection - love it. Now all guineas and teddy bears are happy. Thank you Team Trinity !!!
Thank you for your kind words. ❤️
Fantastic experience: Richard and the team are second to none, been with them for a number of years now after a terrible experience with sandhole in snodland. They have operated on my girl saving her life and more recently having to put her to sleep. Couldn't have wished for a better service at this awful time, Richard even secretly took a paw print and put it on a card without us knowing and sent it to us. Absolutely amazing care and service, Couldn't recommend them enough.
Thank you for your kind words and review. We are glad the card turned up safe. ❤️
Fantastic experience: Alexander (?) Vet, she's a great vet. Knew what the problem was straight away but obviously bloods would be needed straight away to confirm it. She's a caring vet, goes above and beyond to help and care. she clearly cares about the animals. Not many vets I've come across are like Alexander. Thank you to her.
Thank you for your lovely words and kind review ❣️
Fantastic experience: I had to take my very poorly water dragon to see the vet. Unfortunately it wasn't the news I wanted to hear or a decision I wanted to make for my lizard, but I expected it and sadly I had to say goodbye to him. The vet was very professional, informative and compassionate. I would thoroughly recommend Trinity Vet Centre. It will definately be my vets of choice when I'm ready to get myself another scaley friend. P. S. I received a hand written card through the post signed by Richard Trinity himself, it was so personal I cannot describe how touched I was. It was truely priceless. Thankyou Richard.
Thank you for your kind review and we are glad the card turned up safely. ❣️
Fantastic experience: Richard the vet always Shows genuine care and attention and puts your mind at rest
What a beautiful picture, thank you for your lovely review
Fantastic experience: The lovely Australasian vet dealt with my cats end of life care was such a lovely guy. Apologies for not remembering your name in my distress! Thank you so much x
Fantastic experience: So impressed with this surgery. Called up just before they closed on Monday and whilst I was on the phone and distracted, the most tragic and horrific accident occurred with our other pet resulting in them passing instantly. The nurse I was speaking to could not have been kinder, she was so so gentle and caring, sorted an appointment for our unwell pet to save us the added stress of calling back the following day for an "on the day" appointment, and when we arrived for the appointment, she came out to offer her condolences and comfort and speak to us for a while, her genuine care and concern meant so much to us. What lovely lovely staff work here, with a true love of what they do. The vet was kind and competent and thorough, everyone was lovely and ensured we knew we could contact them with any concerns, the surgery was clean, the wait time was minimal and even though we live further away, I was advised to try this surgery by another, more local, vet, saying they are the "go to" people for exotic pets (we have gerbils), and I would definitely return. Thank you so much for your kindness and care.
Fantastic experience: The best care for small pets in Kent. Kind, compassionate and a full recommendation from me. We've been taking our rats there for over a year now and I couldn't ask for better care. Thank you to all of the wonderful reception staff, veterinary nurses and doctors. You really are an asset to your practice.
Fantastic experience: This is the first time I have had to take one of my lovely chickens to the vets. I was very concerned that she would have to be put down. The vet and receptionists were very friendly which helped a lot. Unfortunately, there was nothing the vet could do about the tumour, but he told me what I could do to make her more comfortable and reassured me that all the time Bernie was eating well and walking around then she should be fine. He explained that should she start to deteriorate then it was probably the end, and I should take her back there. He treated her very kindly. I would certainly recommend Trinity Vets to others.
Fantastic experience: I was there with my ill parrot for few times, very nice comunication, well explained everything and they do the best for any pets. Thank you very much.
Fantastic experience: I live out of area but could not find a local vet to see my tortoise who was extremely poorly, I phoned up and as soon as I explained the problem , the receptionist asked how long it would take me to get to them, and the vet agreed to see my tort as soon as we could get there, great service, very welcoming and very helpful
Fantastic experience: I've visited this practice a lot the last few weeks, each time seen by a different vet. Richard, Alejandro and Harriet are all superb, and very knowledgeable. I travel quite a distance to come here as they are great with exotics (in my case hamsters) and so helpful. I was very upset in a few of the appointments and they were very reassuring.
Fantastic experience: The best exotic vet in Kent. Receptionists were very kind, easy to talk to and knew their stuff. Vet was kind, confident handling our snake and very reassuring. Pricing is reasonable, easy parking just behind the clinic and overall a terrific vet :)
Fantastic experience: The care my reptiles receive when coming here is incredible. It’s a friendly, professional environment and they always get them seen promptly. Would recommend this vets to everyone!
Fantastic experience: Took my little hedgehog Elmo here as he had a mass in his mouth. The vets couldn’t have been more lovely and you could tell they genuinely knew what they were talking about which, with African pygmy hedgehogs, not everyone would. They performed surgery and honestly I am so glad I travelled to visit. I was actually surprised that the bill was also a lot less than I thought it would be. Thank you for helping my little one :) glad I registered here.
Fantastic experience: Richard was so helpful when he saw my daughters pet Bearded dragon. Unfortunately he was too sick to recover. She was devastated when he died. It was so lovely to receive a condolence card through the post. So very thoughtful and completely unexpected. Thank you for being so considerate.
Fantastic experience: I can't thank Harriet enough for the ongoing care and support she has shown me and my poorly rabbit Russell. All the staff have been amazing and really caring. Special thanks for Charlotte for completely reassuring me about Russell's anaesthetic and making sure she kept me informed every step of the way! I've moved away now and I'm gutted I can no longer use trinity vets, but I highly, highly recommend them!
Fantastic experience: Excellent service from all the staff at Trinity. So kind and patient during stressful times. Feel that the vets and nurses really care for your pets to the fullest and try their best.Very knowledgeable, puts your mind to ease to know that your beloved animal is in the best care. Thank you for everything you have done for our animals.
Fantastic experience: Always had such caring, friendly and reassuring help when needed. You just know that these people live all the animals they treat and are exceptionally knowledgeable
Fantastic experience: Never been to this vet before. Needed help with little zebra finch. They were able to fit me in same day. Vet was friendly and explained situation and I learnt things I didn’t know.
