Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant, professional and caring. Strongly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We have used Vets4Pets for over 3 years now, since moving to Herefordshire, and can not fault them. The service is excellent - from a helpful, informed front desk to excellent, kind, vets and nurses. They have been brilliant with our nervous Cairn Terrier and have gone to great lengths to help him feel more relaxed when he comes in. Vaccinating him has become a task but Jess was super patient and we got there in the end! Thank you to the whole team.

Fantastic experience: We took Dougal to be neutered and as usual the staff were absolutely great, from the reception team through to the nurse. Everything was explained and we were asked if we had questions. This veterinary practice is in my view the best practice in Herefordshire. We have had different vets over the years and Vets4Pets are the best we have been to. We have 4 dogs and ever since being at Vets4Pets we feel all our dogs needs are met here. They never rush us and are always available 7 days a week unlike other practices. Many many thanks to you all .

Negative experience: They euthanised my little rescue birdy, and didn't even ask me. They didn't even call me to ask first if I wanted to try to look after him, even though I made it clear that I wanted to when I dropped him off. He was managing fine from the previous evening when I brought this little Starling inside. He wasn't in any way beyond saving and having as a little pet at home. And yes, I know he only had the one leg, and that the other had long since been lost in some mishap and healed, but this very afternoon he was hopping around and chirping, and flapping just fine, and eating and recovering well. I know that in many cases rescues don't survive the night, I am not foolish, I get that. But this one did. And I just wanted to continue caring for this bright little personality that I had rescued from a cat outside. And they killed him instead. I am heartbroken. I had prepared a little enclosure, and ordered proper food. I just took him in to be checked, and now he's gone. And yes, *of course* I know it's just a little wild Starling, and he might have been eaten by a cat outside without my ever knowing that he existed. I get that. I really do. But I also could have kept him at home tonight, and it might have been just fine. And so it just feels like one more horrible symbol of how relentlessly ruined everything is in the world right now. Lesson learned. I will *never* bring in a rescue again, and I will never trust an institution alone with an animal again. I emphatically do *not* want a response to this message. Please do not dare to do so, and in doing so insult my dignity. There is nothing to be done, because you cannot have something back once it is gone, and words are of no more use.

Fantastic experience: I am a veterinary professional and visited the practice to perform some filming for a project we are running at the RCVS. The practice's positive and supportive culture shines through. They work so well together as a team, and clearly care deeply about the service they provide, their patients and their owners. The practice director, Elliot, drives a culture of collaborative work, and supports his veterinary nurses in being the very best they can be. We were using this practice to demonstrate 'what good looks like' in terms of culture and team work, and it was spot on. I left feeling inspired by this practice, and wondering if I'd manage the commute from Evesham should any vacancies arise!

Fantastic experience: Elliot and the team are amazing! We’ve used Vets 4 Pets in Hereford since moving here nearly 6 years ago and they’ve always gone above and beyond in caring for our cocker spaniel Bailey. These past couple of weeks we’ve been in a few times as he was diagnosed with diabetes. They’ve helped us immensely with how to treat him and he’s back to his usual self - phew! And have been speedy in helping with our insurance claim and sourcing his medication online. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Fantastic experience: Absolutising service ! I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this place and these people are. My Daughters dog was hit by a car last night. No other Vet would see her. The Lady on reception was beyond helpful and compassionate. The Vet was brilliant and the charges were I would say a quarter of what any other Vet would charge. This was all despite never having seen us before. So very grateful to them for everything

Fantastic experience: The staff here are all friendly and helpful - they were great with our Oreo and Luna who went in today for procedures . We’ve been in 2 times with our kittens and you can tell they love animals and their jobs taking care of them - so glad we chose vets at pets to look after our feline family and piece of mind they will be there if or whenever we need them - here they are recovering together

Fantastic experience: I love Elliot and the team - the care they provide to my senior chihuahua is perfection. They're also always sensitive to how dramatic I am about him, and treat us both very well. Bailey (my chihuahua) has just had to have an extensive dental procedure, and the surgery and recovery was perfect. He's doing great, and they were fantastic at reassuring me. Wonderful team!

Fantastic experience: I would just like to say that the service I received from Eliot and the team here was Perfect, I sadly lost my best friend to a unknown growth and Eliot and his team we so compassionate and caring for both myself and my Jonty until his passing, I even received a hand written card from the practice as well as some of Jontys Hair cut out and his paw prints , small things go a long way. Cannot recommend them enough.

Negative experience: I called the vet as my cat was in critical condition told to go straight there so I did , no staff on desk ten minutes had passed Then we eventually were seen 20 minutes later , baring in mind my cat was in a critical condition He was more interested in pricing up the bill of over £1500 then he left to see another patient sat waiting again for 25 minutes so we walked out and got seen by another vet immediately and a much better service wasn’t interested in money just my cat which was reassuring , these cheeky sods had the nerve to write to me and say they will no longer treat any of my pets and charged me a consultation , but for what are you charging me for?? you told me what I already knew , I do not recommend this place it’s awful and so over priced only interest is money and leaving pets to die disgusting you should be closed down for your actions

Everyone takes an interest in your pet from the reception team to the nurses and vets. They imbue me with confidence that they will look after my pet and they are in safe hands when being left for a procedure.

Fantastic experience: From arriving in reception and meeting Claire we were greeted with a smile and welcomed. Claire was great in explaining everything and making Enzo (our puppy) feel at ease. We then met Amber, our vet and she was great! It was Enzo’s first appointment and he was so at ease. Amber explained everything, cared about Enzo’s experience and even gave him some time for pets which he loved. We had such a great experience and are happy that we have chosen V4P Hereford for our boy.

Fantastic experience: Ruby is a VERY anxious lady who requires some calmers and a muzzle before visiting the vets. Elliot and Becky (previous visit) have been brilliant with Ruby. During her latest check up after having surgery 4 weeks ago she wasn't as calm as she had been on her first check up with Becky, but Elliot is very patient and calm with Ruby, knows Ruby's needs and is very attentive to them. All the staff at Vets4Pets-Hereford know Ruby, they never make a fuss around her as they know she will struggle to tolerate it, they give her her space but at the same time acknowledge her like all the other patients. I honestly couldn't of picked a better practice to care for all my animals when in need. Thank you

Negative experience: I phoned up to tell them my kitten was struggling to breath at 9 am and the vet offered to see her at 11.30 !! Unbelievable . sadly when my kitten was in there care she passed away 3 hours later , I don't blame them but can't get passed why they didn't want her to be seen ASAP it could have made the difference, to me it's more about the money

Unfortunately she had to be put to sleep.But the way she was treated and ourselves I cannot praise the professionalism of the staff highly enough. Even a week on to the day we received an unexpected condolence card through the post. 10/10 professional, exceptional and would 100% recommend this vets.

Fantastic experience: Started taking my 2 rabbits here after I adopted the one from P@H. Never been here before, but although it's a large chained vets(which I generally stayed away from) they're very good. All the staff are knowledgeable and caring. They won't fill you with rubbish just to get more money like some. They have been brilliant with my rabbits, both have been neutered by them & recovered really well, no issues or anything and they were always there is I needed any info. Thanks guys! Freyja&Odin

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff, all very personable and will do everything they can to care for your pet. My cockatiel unfortunately had to be put down recently and both Elliot and Natasha were very helpful and kind when I brought him in. They're realistic but helpful, and even sent a condolences card after he passed. On the flip side, when I brought my cat in for some concerns with her eyes, Natasha was quick to calm my nerves and let me know that everything was okay. The best vets' practice I've ever dealt with.
