Some of the standout aspects of Biscot Mill include:

- High Costs: Various clients have noted that the pricing can be on the higher side, with some feeling pressured into additional testing.
Overall, while Biscot Mill Veterinary Centre has shown positive improvements and has many dedicated staff members, there remains room for growth in addressing customer service and consistency issues. Many clients continue to recommend the practice based on their overall experiences and the quality of care they have received.

Biscot Mill Veterinary Centre: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Follow-Up Review I previously left a very negative review based on some genuinely distressing experiences. However, I feel it’s important to share that, at least in our experience over the past couple of years, things have significantly improved. The current team has been a completely different experience for us. I especially want to give a shout-out to Jasmine on reception, who is always kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She consistently goes out of her way to assist and makes what can be stressful situations feel much more manageable. Nurse Caitlin also deserves special recognition. She truly goes above and beyond for our pets every time we visit. Her care, compassion, and attentiveness never go unnoticed. And finally, Dr. Jennifer has been wonderful. She takes the time to thoroughly explain everything, walks you through options clearly, and answers questions with patience and understanding. You never feel rushed, and her communication is excellent. Most importantly, she is genuinely kind and gentle with the animals. For us, the atmosphere and standard of care have felt very different compared to our earlier experiences. I appreciate the positive changes and the current team’s dedication. Previous review; I am writing to express my absolute disgust and outrage at the appalling level of care provided by Biscott Mill Veterinary Practice. My recent experiences with this establishment have been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn fellow pet owners of the utter incompetence and indifference exhibited by the staff. On the morning of Saturday, March 16th, my beloved cat faced a life-threatening emergency—a blocked bladder that left him in excruciating pain and unable to urinate. In a frantic attempt to seek immediate assistance, I contacted Biscott Mill Veterinary Practice, a place where my cat has been a loyal patient for almost four years. Shockingly, despite the urgency of the situation, they callously turned us away, callously claiming a lack of available appointments. This heartless abandonment of their duty to provide emergency care to a longstanding patient is nothing short of despicable and showcases their utter disregard for animal welfare. But the horror doesn't end there. My experiences with Biscott Mill Veterinary Practice have been consistently marred by their abysmal standards of care. Each time I've sought treatment for my other cat's minor ailments, I've been met with incompetence and a blatant disregard for her well-being. Instead of conducting a thorough examination, the staff immediately jump to ordering unnecessary and exorbitantly priced blood tests—without even bothering to lay eyes on the animal. This blatant money-grabbing tactic is not only unethical but also indicative of a veterinary practice that prioritizes profit over the health and welfare of its patients. To add insult to injury, I was once booked in to see a nurse despite asking for a doctor(i haven't been notified any time prior, during or after the appointment that we've been seen by a nurse and not a doctor), only to be met with sheer incompetence and apathy. Despite my cat exhibiting alarming symptoms—refusing food and water for over 24 hours—the nurse's only response was a mindless repetition of the need for blood tests, demonstrating a shocking lack of empathy and expertise. This callous disregard for my cat's urgent needs is utterly unforgivable and highlights the gross incompetence that pervades Biscott Mill Veterinary Practice. In light of these horrifying experiences, I implore all pet owners to steer clear of Biscott Mill Veterinary Practice. Their abhorrent lack of compassion, incompetence, and profit-driven mentality make them a danger to the welfare of animals and an absolute disgrace to the veterinary profession. Consider yourselves warned.
Fantastic experience: I have been with Biscotti Mill Veterinary Centre since 2010 and the whole time I have been with them there service has been second to none. Fantastic staff, nurses and vets I would highly recommend them Thank you
Fantastic experience: Great staff and vets. Been looking after our animals for years.
Fantastic experience: what amazing vets and nurses couldn't have asked for any more for my dogs end of life so caring and compassionate. highly recommend. thankyou
Fantastic experience: Very good
Fantastic experience: Our dog Nala is very anxious when it comes to visiting the vet, but the staff here are always incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. From the moment we walk in, they help her feel as calm as possible, even when she’s all over the place with nerves. Despite her wriggling and worry, her vaccinations were done smoothly and gently, and the team made sure she felt safe throughout. We’re so grateful for their professionalism, compassion, and the extra care they always show. Highly recommend this wonderful practice!
Fantastic experience: Got a same-day appointment for my cat with an injury, and left with full care-plan and medicines required. Receptionists, especially Kezia, also exceptionally helpful. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Very welcoming when you arrive. The vet was friendly and talked through the different options
Negative experience: Absolutely awful place, each time a different vet so no continuity if your pet fels ill. Our poor pet was loosing fur - we were told it was food allergy and they put him on special expensive diet (then he was suffering diarrhea!) They also stated he had arthritis and insisted we give him meds which upset his tummy even more. When we took him for a consultation to a different vet he was given one injection for bacterial infection and he has his beautiful fur back now. Also they refused to give us a little kitten found on parking lot although the little one wasn't microchipped. When l demanded to speak to manager of the practice rude receptionist told me they don't have one! Also did not want to supply headoffice contact details so we could fail a complaint saying l should email the complaint ...to Biscott Mill reception !!! There are other issues too - they either don't have appointments available or cancel appointments, once they cancelled 15 min prior to the due time while l was on the way to them and when l arrived they argued there it no app on their system and no vet available - when l showed them their own reminder text a Romanian vet magically was found to see us ! (l think he was one of the most polite and most sensible ones we have seen there in 6 years). They also estimated dental for our pet to be £890 plus blood test. We now moved our cat to a different practice - no nonsense, always same vet and dental work... £400. Do your research before you submit your pet into this place. Good luck!
Fantastic experience: I have used biscot mill veterinary for over 15 years Always had a positive outcome with consultations, orders and service good luck and carry on
Positive experience: All staff very pleasant and helpful
Fantastic experience: Have been with biscot vets for over 40 years with all my pets over the years and 3 of my 4 dogs are registered with them Always a plesent knowledgeable vet and they are so caring and nice too.
Fantastic experience: Great staff totally got my dog feeling comfortable. Very patient
Fantastic experience: Great doctors and customer service here
Negative experience: Veterinary care is severely lacking, bordering on dangerous. No compassion for sick animals or upset clients. Dismal customer service. Dirty reception area - on our last two visits my pet has sat in dried blood and fur from a previous client. Consulting room tables are not cleaned between clients. My views are not based on a single incident but over many years. Biscot Mill Vets should be shut down 'unfit for purpose'. I am currently escalating my latest complaint through appropriate channels, which includes physical assault by a vet who hit my hands to stop me recording her inappropriate behaviour.
Fantastic experience: Amazing vets. Understanding and considerate. Very friendly
Fantastic experience: My first experience was reassuring and informative. I know my cat will be well cared for. The vet was knowledgeable and explained everything including potential costs in a way that was accessible.
Fantastic experience: Although our cat went in to have teeth done and it cost a lot of money twice as much as we thought it would but the people and the friendliness the cleanly less the way that they were with our pet they are an absolute wonderful veterinary clinic and I would recommend them strongly
Fantastic experience: Friendly and efficient. Had my kitten spayed and she recovered quickly. Neat cut and no complications. I was very happy with the service.
Negative experience: I brought in a stray cat that was dying and found the receptionist to be really aloof and uncaring and a little rude and emphasised that she would've been in a lot of pain, when I was already distraught and crying, it seemed as if she was getting off on making me feel worse. Like she was blaming me in someway, as if already I wasn't feeling like utter crap made me feel worse. I wasn't even allowed to say goodbye properly. Over the phone it seemed to take forever and like she didn't care at all and had a really sarcastic tone like Carol off of Little Brittain!
Negative experience: Rude receptionists not welcoming nor helpful at all just eager for payment even vets mention pet plan dont explain nothing fully just rush you, had me on system as mr x din even though id written my name on piece of paper twice funny way of amusing themselves, brought my cat in was wheezing I was worried vet was just clueless said had inflammation just gave me tiny bottle of medicine cost me 90quid for visit turned out was just hairball they failed to even mention that careless people, they send reminders of cat check ups and vaccines due yet when make appointments they cancel continuously making excuses have emergency or we have shortage of vaccines they misplace vet notes on purpose just so u can pay again very dishonest people give the run around disgraceful practice just money grabbers seems they want to lose patients I wouldn't recommend at all save your money people just feed real organic meats omega 3 foods to your pets they will stay healthier give plenty of fresh water too, hopefully people will see sense and see through their dishonesty and think rwice before bringing their pets here receptionists have no shame at all
Fantastic experience: We had an emergency with my goodest boy yesterday. This vets practice have the kindest people ever. They show so much compassion in a world of harsh corporate money grabbing businesses Biscot Mill vets put the care of your animal first . James , you were absolutely brilliant and you treated our doggo like your own . I can’t thank you enough
Negative experience: This has taken me some time to write but August 24th last year my dog had passed away. I took her to this vets as we were all under distress and needed confirming she was gone. The receptionist shows no emotion or care. She took what felt like a long time to tell us which room to go into whilst we stood there carrying our dead dog. So far I felt no empathy from the moment I walked in. The nurse who saw her was kind and empathic, he told us our options. We decided to go for cremation and asked should we pay now. He said no pay when you come to collect her. We left and called three days later the day we were told she was going to be taken to be cremated, there pick up day. The receptionist then says she won't be going unless we come in now to pay as we hadn't. Informed her what the nurse said and mentioned im happy to come and pay today but she said unless I come in the next 10 mins my dog will be staying in the vets for another week until the next pick up. Now as a vet service I'm appalled that they first gave me misinformation and the fact they've shown that they only care about is the money side. Now to the receptionist a white british woman in her 40s i believe (dont know any of there names) who answered the call how disgusting and awful she was. No empathy extremely rude, if my dog was not in there hands i would have given her a piece of my mind. I've seen her be rude to other customers at the vets I can't understand why she works there and should be sacked. What I will say is when I went to collect my dogs ashes the receptionist a young white British lady was on the phone she paused her call and I told her im here to collect my dogs ashes. She was so kind and empathic i could just feel it from her even without her saying much. She was the only receptionist to have said I'm sorry for your loss. I wish I had received this kind if empathy from the beginning. The vet service was brilliant when David was in charge and is now the worst place.
Fantastic experience: 10/10 for this veterinary surgery! The care has been excellent for my little cat ; Mog. Very recently Mog underwent surgery after swallowing a pistachio which did not show up on the X-rays. After days of being very poorly I was going to give up on mog . The family were devastated. Due to past experience; Ella was convinced that Mog had swallowed something so we opted for surgery. We still have Mog with us and she is thriving and it’s all thanks to Ella. The after care at the surgery was excellent . I can fully recommend Biscot Mill without hesitation.
Fantastic experience: Friendly and confident reception and vets especially important when you have a large breed dog would recommend to all.
Fantastic experience: Very clean and friendly people can't do enough for you Excellent service thank you..
Fantastic experience: Good care...very nice staff
Fantastic experience: Great vets, knowledgeable & supportive. Great with dogs. Friendly. Exceptional service
Fantastic experience: This is a very good vet they are very helpful. Special thanks to Abby, she is very professional and very helpful and friendly
Positive experience: Excellent caring staff. Clear idea of costs and treatment options.
Negative experience: Gone down hill massively in recent times. I’ve heard they are short staffed which possibly affects how many meds they can prescribe/ stock. Resulting in my elderly Mothers cat constantly running out of meds and me having to make wasted journeys from my house in Leighton Buzzard for them to get the quantity wrong and supply me with a few days worth, or forget to call me to say I need to do glucose readings before I can get the meds. So I turn up to pick it up and it’s been held to ransom, so an extra weeks delay! It’s been like it for months now, absolute shambles!
Negative experience: Have used this vets for years and unfortunately it has gone downhill fast after changing hands Have been back and forth for months with a persistent issue costing thousands. Finally got some answers and tests done (which should have been done at the first appointment) was told that results would be 2 days now 7 days later still no results and after being told they would be chased I’ve called again to be told oh it can take 10 days. Medication has run out as was only prescribed enough till test results came in and now been told I will have to pay again for consultation etc to get anymore even tho it’s there issue. Once results are in will be leaving. Also it’s a revolving door of vets and students who are allowed to be working unsupervised you never see the same vet and when asking them if they will be here for next appointment your told they are leaving so it all starts again
Negative experience: This vet used to be good under the previous ownership but has massively gone downhill since taken over by new owners. I was told my cat urgently needed medication via injection and to bring her in the next day to administer it. When I got there with my cat for the appointment they told me they did not have the medication in stock, it was a wasted journey for me and stressed my cat unnecessarily. This was despite them saying they’d checked beforehand that the injection was in stock. The next available appointment was almost two weeks later despite them saying she needed the medication asap, and this was only after calling several times as initially they told me the first available appointment was in 6 weeks. The receptionists do not seem able to view the vets notes which means making follow up appointments very difficult because they don’t seem able to comprehend what the appointment is for. They also take ages to pick up the phone, sometimes I’ve waited on hold for 20 minutes or more. They really need to modernise and get an online booking system for appointments so customers don’t have to wait on the phone.
Negative experience: One star because all the staff are excellent except for the vet that diagnosed my cat with cancer. Tadas Charzevskis, the vet had stated the following - Examination - Admitted for ultrasound abdomen vey large and in deep pain on examination full belly in fluids Applyed urine cateter in to the bladder removed 220ml urine it wasnt blocked the cateter went nicly On the left side of kidney attacked mass it call renal cancer.Of the cancers that do develop in the kidneys , lymphoma is the most common type to appear , followed by renal cell carcinoma Treatment : surgery, chemotherapy , radiation therapy , antibiotics and supportive care kidney cancer usually carries an overall poor prognosis in cats This was untrue. I got my cat checked by another vet on Studly Road and was told he does not have cancer. Had I listened to the Biscot practitioner my cat would have died. This is just a warning message to others, if your cat has been diagnosed with cancer always get a second opinion, I was advised to euthanize him, but did not. He now leads a healthy life and has FIV. He only required iv drips and the little man was up and running.
Fantastic experience: Iv been with normans vet for years now... sad day today and the staff are so nice... as long as I have a pet they will allways go there x
Positive experience: Biscott mill vets used to be a friendly independent vet. But since it has been bought out. I find it very very expensive. There is now a price guide in reception. Before that was there. When ever I got written prescriptions. I never knew how much I was going to have to pay as it was different each time. Now it's not so bad.
Negative experience: I am deeply unsatisfied with my experiences with this vet, I wanted to express my concern regarding the difficulty we have experienced in trying to contact the vets for an appointment for my cat. We have been attempting to contact them since yesterday, and today we were on hold for over an hour. When our call was finally answered, we were asked to wait, but then the call was disconnected by them. This is extremely unprofessional and I do not recommend registering your vet with this rubbish veterinary clinic as you will not receive the professional care your pets deserve.
Negative experience: Do not vet with this company they don’t care at all about your pets. When trying to contact them about my cat they hung up. What kind of rubbish service is this. Not only do they charge a unreasonable amount but the staff there never have a smile on their face and are so rude… your better of vetting with someone who genuinely cares about your animals
Negative experience: I am deeply dissatisfied with the service provided by this veterinary clinic. I attempted to schedule an appointment for my cat, and after numerous attempts to reach them, they finally answered, only to instruct me to call back at 8:30. When I did so, I was hung up on twice. Additionally, they were unable to administer my cat’s vaccination, which I found highly unprofessional, especially considering this is a veterinary practice. Furthermore, the receptionists consistently display a rude and unhelpful demeanor. I don’t recommend registering your pets at this vet.
Negative experience: From June 2024 until now I’ve had 3 appointments cancelled. One when I was there in person 10 minutes after my appointment time, one the day before and one 2 hours before. My mum is unwell so I have to travel from east London, hire a car to transport my animals and book annual leave. That’s time, money and annual leave I won’t get back. My cats are yet again without an appointment so I have to seek another clinic.
Fantastic experience: Always very professional. I've been taking my pets there for many years. The vets are always ready to listen to your worries and offer both great veterinary care and advice. Would recommend.
Negative experience: Stay away from this vet, they only care about money and not the wellbeing of your pet. I will be going elsewhere. Receptionists are rude and refused to book us in because we were less than 10 minutes late claiming they have no capacity. The waiting room was fairly empty so I don’t see why we couldn’t be seen. Avoid at all costs!
Fantastic experience: Had to take my 4 year old Cocker Spaniel for an urgent appointment. Seen straight away and kept fully informed throughout a difficult 3 hours. A great surgery with a great team
Fantastic experience: The staff were very friendly and made sure to help out a desperate pet owner like myself who was struggling to find vet care for my pet.
Fantastic experience: Took my dog juse who was very poorly and vet went out her way and gave a excellent service highly recommended best vet in Luton
Fantastic experience: Been using this practice for since our latest pet birth ..... Excellent practice and care given at all times. Very impressed with service and prices are competitive. Just to note - they do not have facilities to keep animals out of hours but then again I guess a bit like humans who wants to stay overnight following treatment......home is always better. There is a small amount of onsite parking which is a bonus. Staff are polite and knowledgeable - admin, nurses and vets Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff great with my dog. He is nervous and they have so much time for him so he could relax the vet explains everything in detail would highly recommend
Negative experience: Rude staff interested in only making money ! Where is the compassion for animals Only there to take advantage of you and your pet. Everything they advise and do is to make as much money out of you as possible. The vets are inexperienced and don't have a clue and the receptionists think they are doing you a favour. I will never set foot in that place again !!! Its hard to find a good vet but don't bother with this one.
Fantastic experience: I have used Biscot Mill Vets for many years, even when it was David Normans. Over the years they have treated my dog, my 3 cats and my daughters rabbit expertly and I will continue to use them for as long as I am lucky enough to have furry family members. I highly recommend Biscot Mill Vets for delivering excellent service at a reasonable price.
Fantastic experience: Vet helped us with the travel requirements at last minute. Has put lots of time in getting things resolved. Many thanks
Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly and informative. I've not had an issue here but if something is out of their specialties they will/can refer you to elsewhere. The wait list can be long but I've had good service since sign up.
Negative experience: Dishonest, insincere money grabbers. It's all about money now, they make incorrect diagnosis so people have to pay hundreds and thousands of pounds for unnecessary blood tests and x-rays.
Fantastic experience: Sadie had a lump, the Veterinary nurse Ella Woods was extremely good and patient with me, whilst I phoned my Wife and Ella explained everything over the phone. Thank again to all concerned.
Fantastic experience: Excellent service top notch vet, very informative and easy to talk to
Negative experience: My cat has pododermatitis. We had a video call and a consultant agreed that it's pododermatitis. Today I called to speak with the vet, review the video and get a prescription. Guess what? The vets are busy, they can put me on "call return" list but no one knows what day and what time I will be contacted! I asked if they can book me for face-to-face appointment. All they offered me was midday appointment. I explained that I work and can not bring my cat midday and was advised to call at 08:30 in the morning to find out what appointments are available on a day. I explained once more that my working day begins at 08:00 and finishes at 15:45. The receptionists said they have no evening appointments and I should call at 08:30. It was like a bad case of Groundhog Day! OK, I asked if the vet can review the video of my cat's paw and just send me a prescription. The answer was "no"! So, my cat needs a treatment but vets don't have suitable appointment or any desire to call me back, or review the video and send a prescription. Bravo!
Negative experience: The Vets and Nurses took good care of our cat for a spay procedure, but we won’t be returning again. I would not usually leave a negative review however the attitude of the receptionist staff here is absolutely shocking, for no reason. They were unfortunately very rude in person, and rude on the telephone, I’ve genuinely never experienced anything quite like it. Investment in customer service training is needed here, going to a vets shouldn’t be such a negative experience.
Fantastic experience: Very clean tidy place, friendly staff, courteous and knowledgeable vet, and value for money.
Negative experience: I am really disappointed in the service I have had recently. I have used this vet for over 20 years and it has gone downhill since David left. The appointments are rushed. The reception team do not seem to know anything and just hang up or say they will call you back and they never do. The appointment costs are higher than any vets in the local area and for the cost the service is extremely unprofessional. I would not revisit or recommend
Negative experience: Their proficiency in miscommunication is particularly notable, particularly among the reception staff. They requested payment for a check-up, asserting that it wasn't covered by my insurance, despite failing to provide this payment information when scheduling the appointment. It has now come to light that the appointment is actually with a nurse, which I was not informed of initially. Presently, the reception staff appear to be attempting to conceal their error. Upon reviewing my insurance coverage, I've discovered that the service is indeed covered. This marks the third instance of their attempts to obscure the truth. In hindsight, I regret seeking their services after the second occurrence.
Negative experience: One of your vet let run away cat by the open window behind the treatment room. Also was rude and unprofessional and aggressively kick out the cat owners from your practice. It’s disgusting what you did today. And you should be ashamed because vet should be helping animals. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Definitely not recommended
Negative experience: Vet left open window in the room while trying to treat cat! He didn’t manage to keep the cat and he run away by the window!!!! After that vet was aggressive to the owners and kept telling them it’s not his fault!!!!
Negative experience: A cat escaped from the vet's office on Biscot road. He's injured. He has a cut paw. The cat escaped through the open window in the room of the veterinarian. The vet didn't even feel guilty. He didn't even apologize.
Negative experience: Not had a good time with vet over grass seed incident with dog. Could not get to get into see vet on day it happened saying they did not have space. I phone around other vet but they could not see me. I asked if I should use emergency vet service I was told to wait until tomorrow which I did anxiously. I went next day Saturday with dog but because they were so busy they could not get it out because they did not have time to do it so had to go to emergency vet anyway. Bad advice given to wait and I could have relieve my dog suffering by going the night before. I expected some help and got none and still had to pay for the visit.
Fantastic experience: The vet was very good listening to us an understanding how are dog was very anxious an let me give him his Kennel cough vaccine. Recommended some good things too.
Fantastic experience: Thank you for your care and compassion when having to put my lovely old girl (Eva Tibetan Spaniel) to sleep.
Negative experience: Took my dog here during the pandemic have tried to get an appointment now told we are not registered and they are not taking on any ‘new’ clients, no wiggle room at all just NO very disappointing felt like we were being called a liar.
Negative experience: Avoid this place, the receptionist are very very rude. I took my dogs to this place for a while, now I called to book an appointment for my dogs they said that they don’t have my dogs details anymore. I questioned them how it’s possible. They put the phone down. Avoid Avoid this vet.
Fantastic experience: Excellent veterinary service, staff are really helpful. The clinic is clean and tidy and easy to locate. My cat is happy and so am I!
Negative experience: I'd have given - 5800 stars if it was an option. 1 star is too many for this practice. The reception staff are rude to me and while I'm waiting I can see that they are rude to other customers aswell. So it's just a stinking attitude in general. Iv taken my 3 cats in for regular appointments and each time the table is dirty. I saw a flea jump onto my ragdoll WHITE fur, so each time I went in after that I asked them to wipe the table in front of me as I'm petrified of fleas (very politely), and each time the nurse looked at me like I spat on her nan. Too bad as I won't be taking fleas home with me. I took my dog in a few months ago with severe ivdd and was on the floor with her and my daughter in tears being told her prognosis was no good. The vet was itching to get the needle out and euthenise her on the spot. No sympathy or compassion. God forbid I'd let my best friend see the inside of that place and that vet as her last. Every single reception staff I'v come across has the attitude of a sour fruit. God knows how they have such good reviews on here as everyone I know with animals has had similar cold hearted experience with this vets. Left them after my dog passed and now with vets for pets. Couldn't recommend them enough don't know why I didn't switch over sooner. Don't walk away. Run from this place!
Fantastic experience: Took our dog there today for nail clipping & stomach problems. A very thorough examination & medication prescribed. Very professional staff, happy that we are registered with this vets practice.
Fantastic experience: Very professional caring vetinary l have used for many years and highly recommend to others
Fantastic experience: Great vet, we have been using them for years which should tell you all that you need to know.
Fantastic experience: I find this vets very helpful & understanding from the minute you call them to seeing the vet, they're treating my dog for a skin condition which at mo is helping I've been to other vets but I find this one the best & I shall always go here.
Fantastic experience: From me phone call to seeing the vet was a good experience, everyone is polite and friendly but still professional. Wouldn't be concerned about recommending this practice.
Fantastic experience: Have been with this vet for 5 years and the service has always been great. It is easy to book appointments, there is a separate area for cats waiting to be seen in the building and all the staff are lovely.
Fantastic experience: Very pleased with my experience of using Biscot Mill Veterinary Centre. Very kind and good veterinarians, taking time to listen to your pet's problem. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: First time visiting here in a long time but found staff and vet was extremely professional and very helpful. Answered all my concerns regarding my dog and put her and myself at ease. I was made to feel that no question is a silly question which was nice and reassuring. As my dog was a stray so I don't know her history so all vaccinations started from scratch and coat, weight and general health is all heading in the right direction and she is a loving and beautiful addition to our family. Would highly recommend
Fantastic experience: I currently have two dogs there, nice warm welcome and well priced compared to other vets. Also I don't have to wait long for an appointment which is a plus
Fantastic experience: Have been using this veterinary clinic for many years and no matter which vet my dog sees, we always receive great service, advice and treatment. We have seen Victoria this occasion and would highly recommend her. Great with my dog and provides me all the info I require.
Fantastic experience: This Vets are amazing staff so friendly and helpful. Place is clean. There is a small carpark 10/10
Negative experience: If there was an option to give zero stars I would. VERY disgusting reception staff. my dog lost all stability in his back legs I called to say I was so scared and need help if I can get booked in as it was a emergency was told by her I’n her own words. IM SORRY WE HAVE NO BOOKING. As I tried to explain with my tears running down my face my dog is in a Lot of pain and can’t move STILL she didn’t want to understand and said I’m sorry is there anything else I can help you with when I told her yes can I book my dog in for a emergency she cut the phone. my dog has passed away now as I had to take it to RSPCA for emergency and they said she is in lots of pain and pain killer won’t help r.i.p my beautiful soul ⛔️⛔️⛔️AVOID AVOID AVOID ⛔️⛔️⛔️ And to that disgraceful staff hope your day comes soon to suffer that way I did you learn you a life lesson
Fantastic experience: Excellent and friendly service. Found the pet care plans very reasonable and we feel our little furry friends are in great hands.
Fantastic experience: We are so lucky to have the most wonderful vet. Ella is so kind and we could not be more thankful to be registered at a 5* vet
Negative experience: No compassion for the pets or the owners, felt rushed to make a decision on my pets life and wasn’t even given a moment alone to decide. The vet just stared at us like we should be able to make the decision instantly, after we sadly made the decision to let her rest in peace, the receptionist didn’t say anything no sorry for your loss , condolences or any eye contact just made me wait while she prepared the bill and told me how much then I paid she said thank you. When I look back on, it feels like every step of the way from the phone call to the visit they were just waiting to take the most of my money they could. Would not recommend for exotic animals
Fantastic experience: Have used this vet for many years as did my parents for our childhood pets. Always great service
Fantastic experience: Lovely vets so much information in reception very welcoming and professional
Fantastic experience: Fantastic and very helpful team here, always making sure your pet is comfortable no matter what the circumstances and always put the owners mind at ease.
Fantastic experience: Found a damaged racing pigeon. The local vets where not interested and said leave it in the garden. We have 3 cats. Biscot Mill accepted it happily. Treated it and sent it to woodys to recover. Kept us updated on its progress. Lovely people, good practice.
Fantastic experience: Been going since I got my dog as a puppy always informative great advice receptionists helpful and friendly, nothing is to much trouble, great vets practice.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant with my dog, who is a handful. Gave us the referral we needed and am so thankful they did. Fantastic vets.
Fantastic experience: Great vets. My dog bailey has been going here for 4 years from a puppy. She is a very anxious dog and the vets are always very good with her
Negative experience: Rushed appointments with little thoughts of advice. Chloe on reception is lovely, along with one young veterinary nurse. However, the other receptionist is very rude. Her tone of voice and attitude towards customers is something difficult to work with. She has an attitude of she knows best and refuses to accept conversation. She refuses to offer certain help, but when speaking to other staff members they will gladly help.
Negative experience: Worst service ever. Rude receptionist. I gave this vet a second chance, because I took my hamster a few months ago and he died due to the lack of professionalism and concern of this vet.
Negative experience: They are islamophobic . I arrived 5 minutes late and they refuse to see me whilst another pet owner came 15 minutes late and they saw them . Last time I came to the vet they saw me half an hour late and I didn't complain
Positive experience: Our last visit was the only time in many years of going here that we had to have a little moan about the waiting time (without explanation on arrival) however i cannot speak highly enough about the care and attention they have given to all our dogs over the years... we moved away for a couple of years but as soon as we were back this was the vet we re registered with, i think that says it all really...x
Negative experience: I have been a customer at this practice for many years. Since David has left it’s just become a struggle to get through to the “friendly” dragons on reception. I seriously was concerned for my pet, I have a big heart, if I have a concern and my pet is in pain- should you not do the right thing and head to the “professionals” to help you and your pet? Well called today to get told no appointments and to call back tomorrow wasn’t bothered about my concern, or even asked what was wrong with my pet to see if they could see my pet as an emergency or an advice call etc. i thought to work on reception and that type of environment you needed to have love and care for animals as well as the human kind. (If so you need to change that on your job description!) I honestly don’t know what’s happened to the practice & staff but they seriously need to have a wake up call. I just hope none of them ever have an emergency with a loved one if that being a pet or a family member. And they don’t get treated like I did today. However vets for pets were lovely. Nothing was to much trouble.
Fantastic experience: Clean, welcoming and friendly staff made a fuss of Betsy and her appointment was on time
Fantastic experience: This is one of the best vet practice I have ever been to I would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: I have used biscot mill vets for 20 years . Bertie is my fifth cat all my cats have been treated here.my last two cats were twenty when I lost them running up to that they had several elderly problems and the advice and care they received meant they had a long and dignified life. members of my family also use this practice and are also very happy.
Fantastic experience: Very good first visit, will continue to use this vets going forward as service was great.
