They quickly set to contacting the owners . Well done to the team for your efforts, you showed care and compassion and put my worries to rest .

Fantastic experience: I joined park house when I moved to Stafford. I asked around about the best vets in Stafford for English bulldogs and chose park house from all of the recommendations, especially because they are open at the weekends, the emergency provisions and the surgery facilities. I don’t drive so I didn’t want to have to travel to stoke if Misty became unwell or injured herself at the weekend. Shortly after joining Misty injured her hind leg and was seen by Luke who is so kind, warm and a true animal lover. He couldn’t have been more helpful and Misty loved him which is quite something when she was in so much pain. soon became clear that Misty would need X-rays and following those, surgery to both repair her cruciate ligament and complete the BOAS surgery. Her care was ftransferred to Nick who is quite simply the best vet Misty has ever seen. His enthusiasm and knowledge are faultless, and he has the ability to explain complex conditions in a simple manner. Most importantly Misty absolutely adore him and he clearly loved her too which significantly reduced my anxiety about the surgeries in particular. I can’t recommend this practice more highly, and Luke and nick in particular (although I’m confident that all of the practitioners would be just as good). By

Awful vets, went back numerous times for my cat this year but they didn’t really care to help her from the get go which eventually made her worse and ended up moving to another vets. wouldnt recommend them, heard a lot of other things about this place , AVOID.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff great with the animals

Positive experience: Not particularly impressed. My two Podenco's have been denied a spay because "they're foreign and may have brucella" which has been eradicated in Spain. Also, they were denied flea treatments until they had been "seen" by a vet at a cost of almost 200 quid! I think we'll be finding a new vet.

Negative experience: I was aware there was a dog booked into this vets to be euthanized, tried to contact the owners with no luck so contacted the vets which told us they couldn’t give us to much information , taken our number and said they would pass it onto the owners who at the time were there, told them we would take the dog on and give it a loving home rather than putting a healthy dog to sleep because the owners just didn’t want him anymore!! Decided to turn up at the vets but it was too late! They are meant to care for animals and were aware there was a home waiting for this little baby but still went ahead anyway , the man that we spoke to when arriving at the vets is very rude and the whole time speaking to him he found it amusing , smirking the whole time no bother in the world he had just put a healthy dog down not even 3 years old , I would never recommend anyone taking there pets to this vets!!

Fantastic experience: ive been using park house vets for over a year now. Ive been there plenty of times with rescue kittys in hours and ive used their out of hours service too (they provide this for their registered pets). I think I must of seen 99% of the vets all which have been brilliant. Ive also had many conversations with the nurses and the reception staff too. I can not fault them one bit. There always happy to help. I also have disabilitys and I am half deaf and there so accommodating with this. There all very friendly and helpful. The vets dont force unnecessary tests and procedures on you. They are also reasonably priced. I have had a echocardigram done for the kittys i have had in and this was so much more reasonably priced than having to go to an outside vet and at least it was a vet that I knew I could trust who did it. ive had experience with almost every other vet in stafford and I can honestly say park house vets is the best by far. I wouldnt go elsewhere now. They are not more expensive than other vets and infact some procedures are actually cheaper than other vets. They are an independent vets which I think is brilliant rather than these big chain vets which are just intrested in your money. we are very lucky to have park house in stafford xx

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to give a big thank you to park house, we were in Stafford for the weekend When our young puppy damaged his eye while walking on the chase. They saw us very quickly and then Realised it was a lot worse than we all first thought they arranged for us to go straight to “super vets” (Willows in Solihull) where there is an ophthalmology specialist. Just to let you know, he had his operation and they managed to use part of his own cornea to plug the hole. They also remove the debris that was in the back of his eye. He is now home and almost back to normal. Thank you for all your help and kindness

Negative experience: OMG..a not more than 5 minutes with the vet...that will be just, just £74 . Ear drops pxd at a cost of £24 which I've checked online sell from as little as £11.99 for exactly the same....I did voice my feelings about the cost. Yes I love my dog but I don't like be ripped off...as I sat waiting for the drops...2 members of staff decided they were gonna talk about me....therefore I informed the two staff that I'm sitting here if you have anything to say about me so I could defend my actions...and of course laughing we are not talking about you....needless to say ill not be attending this practice again

Negative experience: After being advised to check my cats heart health and paying over £500 for a scan I was told she was healthy enough for an operation to remove a bad tooth which cost another £500. The vets even tried to upsell me thyroid checks on the day she had her operation. She died 4 days later at home from a heart attack. She would likely have lived longer had I not visited the vets atall.

Fantastic experience: Cannot thank Ben and his team enough...our Harley was quite poorly, and they quickly responded, assessed and treated her condition, and she is well on the mend...so pleased

Fantastic experience: Our Sprocker went in after not eating. The team diagnosed an intussusception, and he was in surgery within a few hours. A few days later they readmitted him for a second one. You wouldnt know our 6 month old pup had been through such major surgery just a couple weeks after. They did an amazing job, kept us informed and ultimately saved the life of our pup. Staff were brilliant, and the vetinary team took their time to answer all the questions I could throw at them.

Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable and helpful vets, nurses and reception staff. Had to have an emergency appointment on a Saturday evening for the dog and they were so accommodating and assisted with insurance claim. Good with chickens which can be difficult to find.

He was so nervous coming in but he was well looked after by staff and by the time I picked him up he was happy and relaxed. Negative experience: Have had good service from this vets until this week. Was charged £32.78 for a can of household flea spray which is available from Amazon and a shop in town for £15. At least they gave me a refund.

Negative experience: Terrible..I had written a 5 star review on here previously but have deleted it. I've changed vets with all 8 of my dogs and will never use or recommend Parkhouse again. Abysmal waiting times every time I've used them, extremely expensive compared to other vets but I stuck with it because if I managed to see a vet before my puppy eventually died of old age in the waiting room, the vets are excellent. However a couple of veterinary nurses who were on duty when I went this week took it upon themselves to keep stealing sneaky glances at me and my pup , whispering and then laughing uproariously. I suffer severe social anxiety and it had taken me all day to work up the courage to come out of the house and face strangers, for my pups sake, but my experience has made me feel like I never want to step out the door again.

Our dog Bella who is a staffy usually gets very anxious during vet visits, was treated with such kindness and patience by the staff. The veterinarian took the time to thoroughly understand our concerns, and you could tell that they genuinely care about the well-being of every animal that comes through their doors. The vet was incredibly thoughtful, explaining each step of the process in a way that was easy to understand and ensuring that our dog was as comfortable as possible. They didn't rush through the appointment, which made a huge difference in easing our pet's anxiety. Their expertise was evident, but what really stood out was their compassionate approach. Negative experience: I changed vet’s with my dogs due to a misdiagnosis on my dog who is now living a lovely happy life . I have a young kitten who was bitten by a dog so I rang park house to see if they could see him as an emergency I was told no , our usual vet was closed . The kitten died in my arms, thanks Park house for not being the caring veterinarian practice you make out you are .

The staff on the phone before our visit were kind, empathetic, and made the process so much more comfortable than we could ever have asked for. Fantastic experience: I would recommend Park House Veterinary Centre to anyone with animals. The team are kind and compassionate and go above and beyond for your furry children. My cat has an ongoing medical problem and since relocating to this practice I feel she is in much safer hands. They were very quick when our cat had issues with her teeth and got her into surgery that day and kept a very close eye on her during recovery and Luke even called the following morning to make sure she was okay - very grateful for that and we feel very supported.

Fantastic experience: I'd happily rate this 100% and know I made the right decision changing vets. I moved from Vets4Pets as they are simply money oriented! Park House was incredible from the moment I arrived. Unlike any other vets I've visited apart from a very small amount of 'well branded' toys for sale, the walls weren't covered in advertising posters, they didn't have shelves of food or treats and there wasn't stands of product leaflets all claiming to be the best. It was neutral and TBH really nice as it felt unbiased. The vet I saw was fantastic. He took his time with each of my babies and was extremely thorough. He didn't try telling me what I needed to change or try and push lots of things on me. He even picked up on a medical condition that's been affecting my dog for 10 years & never been picked up. I genuinely couldn't have been happier with the service and advice given. The price, which was not important, was extremely reasonable, and I had to double check it, as it seemed too cheap! I am happy to know I have these guys on standby for if and when my babies get ill.

Fantastic experience: Great to find a vet where we felt listened to and the vet addressed the issues we had regarding our rescue Yorkie. The vet was able to do the blood tests necessary with fast results and put our minds at ease. Medication was dispensed quickly and the whole experience was brilliant from the receptionists to the dispensing at the end of our visit. Thanks to all at Park House.

Fantastic experience: After a particularly difficult experience from our previous vets, we joined Park House and I have to say what a difference in their attitude towards my dog and towards me as a pet owner. The team at Park House are so good with us and my dog (large mastiff) that visiting the vets is a pleasure, even when the news is difficult. Luke as a vet is patient and has made the time to get to know my dog who she now trusts, and will let him inspect her when he is poorly. Amy on reception really went out of her way recently and arranged medication and an appointment at super short notice, and called me several times with updates which I wasn't expecting, but appreciated. Katie, well you are just the best, Darcey loves you and I think knowing you are there makes her want to visit. Amazing team and amazing service.

Negative experience: Charged over £100 for just 30 tablets Wish I never bothered with this vets Quick check online - far cheaper at 95p each!

Fantastic experience: Once again we received excellent service from Park House Vets, my Grans dog very unexpectedly had a fit which was very traumatic. She called up and got an emergency out of hours appointment right away so we rushed her in. The service we received from Luke was exceptional and turned a horrible situation into a much more manageable one.

Fantastic experience: All my dogs are registered with park house and get wonderful care from all the vets and staff, but two weeks ago I faced the sad news that I had to have my dog sid put to sleep, I was devastated. Vet Luke had been looking after him and made a very emotional situation bearable. He show sid such kindness and dignity and great companion to me. He's a wonderful vet .

Nick and the team at Park house vets were absolutely incredible, from the first night where it was a miracle he survived, to 6 weeks on and he is back to his very mischievous self. Fantastic experience: I had requested flea and worming drops for my car a couple of days beforehand. The staff on reception were friendly (as always) and the drops were fetched from where they are kept, checked and then handed over to me. Everything from my own identity, that of my cat and the nature of the drops was checked.

Fantastic experience: Park House vets are very accommodating of our schedule and the staff are really friendly. It's a little more expensive but they'll do a lot of diagnostic checks in house rather than wait. They're really quick with invoices and documents for the insurance. Happily bring the dog here. The dog enjoys her visits so much I've considered just walking her here at times.

Getting an appointment is easy and they keep an eye on boosters etc and contact you via email to let you know when things are due. I couldn't recommend this practice enough to look after your furbabies

Negative experience: They had my lovely Ben labourer in because he was coughing, and Ben the vet said he wanted he to more test my dog, so my father asked how much it would cost Ben reply £450, so we left my dog with him, and later on that evening l ring up and they ask me to go down to see them, it was the news I didn't want to hear, putting my lovely Ben down, the bill jumped from £450 to £622, park house vet used to be great and honest place, but I get the feeling that they squeeze every penny before my lovely dog passes away

Negative experience: Felt we could been helped more instead of having a load of options prices thrown at us - would have made situation easier for us and you. Call felt cold uncaring unhelpful and not in real world regarding cost of living. Up to that point had good care and improved our dogs conditions and diagnosis. Nick is very good as is Luke. Sadly we felt we didn’t get the time help support guidance and decided to seek help elsewhere. Throwing in bladder tumours etc left us in a mess we are disappointed in Ben.we feel the bill was bumped up dipstick tests etc and get different estimates from desk to vet like other reviewer comments. The vets we sought another opinion from incredibly helpful understanding and explained funds don’t stretch to all 3 tests our new vet explained what was more important 20 mins spent with us. We felt it’s just another animal rush rush rush. We had been coming for 3 years each month with our one dog and every 3 months with our other dog. All this has gone now not that will bother anybody.

Positive experience: We just popped in to register our new puppy Dachshund, Fredy, with this vets and although we have not received any treatment yet for Fredy we were greeted and welcomed by very friendly staff and advised of Fredy's coming injections. We left confident that we will receive professional and kind assistance for our new puppy.

Positive experience: Have uses this vets for a number of years. A clean big practice and the vets are really friendly. Free parking on site. I've always arrived on time for the appointment but have always found I have a 10 to 15 wait before being seen which is slightly annoying. Possibly because of the days backlog buildup. But I'm prepared to wait as I like the vets.

Negative experience: We made an appointment with your practice for end of life for our much loved 14 year old Germany Wirehaired Pointer Molly, your Veterinary Surgeon and assistant were very professional caring for Molly throughout the whole traumatic experience. Such a shame to find out on attending the surgery the next day to settle the account we were given figures that had not been quoted The reception staff initially gave us some figures on our first enquiry which then changed on confirmation of the booking. It was never mentioned these figures did not contain the final account we feel very let down by the whole clerical side of your practice very disappointed

Fantastic experience: Bert, ted and Benji had Nicholas Kelly for tonight’s appointment. Two of our dogs have both unfortunately had surgery and needed medical supervision and Nicholas and all the team at Park House are amazingly fantastic!!! Personal and incredibly professional with everything explained at all times. Highly recommend as we have moved to Stoke and drive back to Stafford to ensure our dogs get the best of the best.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed by the look and feel of this vet centre, which was recommended by friends. I noticed how spotlessly clean the reception area is firstly, and was then welcomed in by the warm and friendly reception team. I came here for a second opinion, as my puppy was having some difficulties. After lengthy, unhurried consultations a solution appears to have been found. The two vets I have seen so far have been great, really helpful, genuinely caring and provided lots of advice. A few days after visiting and receiving treatment, the pooch has pretty much bounced back to his normal self. Fingers crossed he continues to do well and the infection goes away after his course of meds. Really pleased to have found such a good veterinary service. Many thanks to the team.

Fantastic experience: I took my cat in for an emergency appointment, I had a cry down the phone to the receptionist, who was simply fantastic and reassured me that pets get ill and these things happen (my logical brain knew this but in this moment of panic all logic was gone) within an hour my cat was seen. Less Than 10 minuets later the lovely vet said he would need surgery. He could be sorted that day and home by the evening if all went well.luckily all did go well. I was given indepth information about after care and had a follow up appointment booked. My cat is a very good judge of character, and he had no issue these complete strangers shaving him, poking him and proding while he was in pain. And there was minimal fuss when we went back for the for the follow up. My cat knew he was safe thereand knew he would be okay. I can not recommend this place enough.Luckily this is our first proper trip to the vets, but I feel so much better knowing if anything does happen again he (and I!) will be in good hands. Thank you to the whole team from me and kit :)

Fantastic experience: I haven't been to many vets ever. So I can't compare it to the others. I have a 10month old German shepherd and she's well taken care of I feel. I can say that each time I've been, the desk staff have been super pleasant and helpful, and the vets have been calming, knowledgeable, and helpful. I haven't had to wait long for appointments when I call up, and haven't had to wait long in their waiting room. Prices have gone up - so I think it's now £42 for a consultation where it used to be £35. Not cheap. Occasionally I've called for advice and they're happy to help when they can. I'm happy

Fantastic experience: We have a vet literally around the corner in our village but we choose to travel to Stafford because we know Parkhouse are the best. When you choose a vet you need to know not only the Vets are very good but the nurses and reception have got your back too, when your pet has to be admitted its good to know the Vets are the best but just as importantly you are leaving often a very scared pet in the nurses hands for the main part of their stay. It's good to know that the nurses are going to show compassion and care as they will be with them before and after any procedure. Also important that reception listen and book you in, which they always manage to do if you are really concerned. They are all lovely people and go that extra mile. That's what you get with Parkhouse. It has 24/7 cover so you will see someone from Parkhouse with access to your pets records, not some random vet youve never seen before. We tend in the main to see lovely Ben and kind caring Luke, (yes you know you are!!!!) who have both cared for our cats and especially Ernie and got him through his problems with pancreatitis and IBS many times. One of the best Vets practice we have ever used and there have been many. Highly recommend, especially if you have ever been let down in the past.

Fantastic experience: The best in Stafford by far. I’ve been using them since they where in Telegraph St, so for quite a number of years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. My Beagle, Molly, gets the best service and care there. A caring and sympathetic practice who give you confidence in their treatment of your pet. Use them, you will not be disappointed.
