Our comment from InfoVet about Vets for Pets - Aylesbury:
Vets for Pets - Aylesbury is a well-regarded veterinary practice known for its friendly and compassionate staff, who consistently provide excellent care to pets. Many clients have appreciated the quick appointment availability and the thoroughness of the examinations conducted by experienced vets like Oliver. Customers have shared their gratitude for the attentive and caring approach of the team during difficult times, highlighting their kindness in end-of-life scenarios and emergency situations.
Despite the positive experiences, some clients have expressed concerns regarding the high costs of medications and treatments, often feeling that they were charged significantly more than the average market rates. There have also been mentions of inconsistent communication and instances where clients felt the staff’s focus shifted towards upselling services rather than addressing their pets' needs adequately.
Overall, Vets for Pets - Aylesbury is endorsed by many for their dedicated pet care and kind, knowledgeable staff, but potential clients are advised to stay informed about pricing policies and communicate their concerns clearly to ensure they receive the best care for their pets.
Vets for Pets - Aylesbury: Reviews
Negative experience: A mixed review. The staff are lovely & accommodating. However, we experienced a huge disparity on costings (in this case a tooth extraction). We were quoted 1253 GBP initially and everything on the quote was deemed necessary for the procedure. They added things like a light scale and polish for 498.98 (which was apparently mandatory) to remove a broken tooth. When we said we would look to go elsewhere, this was suddenly not required and a second revised quote was 450 from VFP - Aylesbury. Very disappointing as in principle we really like and appreciate the care our dogs get at VFP and they were always quick to see the dogs when the need arose.
Negative experience: They gatekeep prescriptions, charged me way more than the average then refused to give me the prescription telling me it's policy because they've "had problems". No mention of this before taking my money and refused to refund me. All the places you order the drugs from cheaper require you to send the prescription with the order. In the end I had to send the supplier to contact them, it took weeks. They affectively conned me then inserted themselves into a transaction that was none of their business and extended the time until my dog could get his treatment all because I didn't want to pay a 300% markup on the meds they supply.
Fantastic experience: Just wanted to thank the lovely vet we saw this morning for my dogs booster vaccinations. My dog has had a few bad experiences at the vets and has become fearful of them, I have to sedate him and muzzle him just so the vet can examine him . Today was great no muzzle, just covered his eyes and it was all done. Thank you so much .
Positive experience: Brilliant care from vets, especially Oliver - who has been seeing my dog for the last 12 years. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately an interaction with a veterinary nurse yesterday has resulted in a star being deducted.
Fantastic experience: The staff at Companion Care Aylesbury were amazing . Not our normal vets as we were visiting family and had to take our dog (Max) as he had developed a lump in his mouth which unfortunately turned out to be cancer. From the first visit to collecting his ashes today all the staff have been caring and helpful, nothing was too much trouble . Thank you for helping us through this difficult time .
Positive experience: Like all vets, overworked, overbusy, overly-expensive. In terms of medical practice they are good and they do a good job of curing your pets, but you do have to endure an awful queuing system in a cramped store aisle with receptionist doing ten things at once and doing the obligatory upselling. So.. it takes 2hrs to get through, for just a 10 min appointment.
Fantastic experience: Amazing service. Was seen today by Oliver, couldn’t fault him. Gave me great advice on treatment plans and assessed/treated my pet with a caring holistic approach. Couldn’t be happier with the level of service and care.
Negative experience: I can't sleep because of this vets. Thanks for the stress and the lady on the phone making it clear money is more important than actually helping my doggy. If I have a fit at all in the next 24 hours because of the stress I will personally blame this place. Your cost are so expensive and you dont help in the long run I've had enough. At this rate your gonna make me ill. I don't recommend this place at all
Negative experience: The vet care is good and you can get an appointment quickly. A rip off for medication. I was charged £106 for ear drops ( Recicort) and a tube of cream (Isaderm). When i got home i checked online and i can get exactly the same products online for £42.41 inc delivery. So they charge 150% more!! I appreciate it will be more expensive, but there is no justification on this difference. Remember, the Vet service is a business and not a health care provider (although this is not the staff's fault). Next time, I will be getting the prescription and purchasing products elsewhere. I would strongly advise everyone does the same, if you want to save some serious money!
Negative experience: NEVER AGAIN – Terrible Experience! I took my new kitten to this vet for the first time because he was sneezing. I paid nearly £100 for the appointment and medication. They diagnosed him with the flu and prescribed an antibiotic that didn’t help at all, along with a pain relief syrup meant for post-castration (completely unnecessary, just a way to charge more money). After I got home, they called me asking me to return because they had mixed up the documents at reception. I drove back to drop off the form they needed, only to realize how unprofessional and incompetent they were. The prescribed treatment did nothing for my kitten—he had sinusitis and kept sneezing out mucus with blood. I had to book an appointment with another vet from Ukraine, who immediately diagnosed sinusitis and prescribed the right antibiotic, which actually helped. Later, when my kitten was older, I booked an appointment at the same clinic for neutering—what a complete waste of time and nerves! While filling out the intake form, I mentioned that I had consulted another vet and given my kitten a different antibiotic because their treatment had been useless. Suddenly, they started demanding an official report from the other vet, even though I could tell them the exact medication and dosage. One of their rude assistants (a large woman with a terrible attitude) insisted that I had to contact the Ukrainian vet for a formal report, or they wouldn’t accept my kitten for the procedure. I refused to follow their absurd demands, as I felt extremely uncomfortable dealing with such unprofessional and incompetent people. I would never trust them with my pet. NEVER AGAIN! I will never return and will make sure to warn everyone I know to stay away from this place!
Fantastic experience: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving shadow a new bill of health, she is 22 1/2 years old & we truly thought we would not be bringing her home. She is now snuggled in her bed after having a lump removed by Alan Reeves & looked after by Robin. Both showed love, respect & professionalism in their work. Thank you
Fantastic experience: Needed emergency treatment for my baby chow chow and I absolutely cannot thank the staff on today in companion care … especially Issi the vet she’s really knowledgeable caring and empathetic. She is amazing a real asset Companion care … they are very lucky to have her can’t Thankyou enough ❤️
Fantastic experience: I had an appointment this morning for our beloved Pet Rat Coco's final sleep. Your vet lovingly held our girl and made sure she was cared for in her final moments. She was very patient and caring, and wrapped her up gently for me to take home after. It made saying goodbye that little bit easier knowing she was in good hands. Thank you, what a wonderful vet she is!
Positive experience: Fantastic and caring vets. The only downside, which is with all vets, is the price of medications.
Fantastic experience: I was a bit cynical about a 'vet in a shop' at first; we took on two cats from a someone who was leaving the country and they had always been at Companion Care, so it seemed sensible to stay put. I have since moved my two dogs to the practice as well based on the experiences that we had with such excellent care for the cats. We lost one of the cats and one of the dogs last year and the team at CC were so knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful at the time, and when dealing with me since. Particular praise must go to Joy on reception and Lauren, one of the nurses. It's not easy being in a business that has to deal with people when they are anxious about their pet, or upset, and this makes their jobs even harder. Vet care is expensive, or seems that way, because we have free medical care for humans. Companion Care are reasonably priced when compared to others locally, and have a great team working there. Highly recommend (and I used to work for a vet practice)
Negative experience: Rude receptionists. Spent over £200 to be told they aren’t sure what’s wrong with my dog. Charge £20 to fill out an insurance claim form. Companion care isn’t what it once was, it’s just a money grabbing business.
Fantastic experience: Can't thank the team at Companion Care Aylesbury enough for their support and compassion with our beloved dogs end of life care. They made a very difficult 6 months so much easier and we are forever grateful.
Negative experience: Awful Service from Aylesbury Companion Care. On our visit the staff we rude and the place was rammed with pets and far too busy. Invoiced us for a service and products we didn't receive. AVOID!
Fantastic experience: Again, can't fault the service Oliver and the team offer us and the dogs.
Negative experience: Ridiculous multiple phones calls and no answer each time is there no one around to pick up a phone? Glad my pet isn't here as would hate to not be able to get hold of a Vets that has pet.
Fantastic experience: The nurses and staff have been just so compassionate and caring when my little cat summer was killed by a car, they sorted her cremation and even got me a last paw print from her...I can't thank you all enough xx
Negative experience: They seem to employ the rudest receptionists. We moved away from them nearly 2 years ago because their communication was awful. Following up on an email they sent me today I was yet again met with unsympathetic, rude staff. We now use high Wycombe vets 4 pets and I can not recommend them enough!
Positive experience: The Vets are very knowledgeable and care a lot about your pets
Fantastic experience: My dog at 16 had to have a big operation and they were so helpful and kind. I didn't hesitate to take her there. After care was good as well.
Positive experience: I could only give 3 stars because although the team were brilliant when my dog had surgery for an intestinal blockage, we discovered another issue with a questionable plan of action. During surgery for blockage, the vets noticed a mass in his gums by the front of his mouth. This was failed to be mentioned to us until nearly a week later when we had noticed this ourselves. When bringing it up it was "oh we forgot to mention this at the time". We obviously wanted this looked at asap, there was a rotten tooth in the mass which the vets were very unsure about what this could be. When we asked to remove the rotten tooth and mass they said they would have to biopsy and xray with him under. And then once the results come back they would put him under again to remove which was a concern for me as that would mean going under 3 times in a month and he is 9 years old! We asked if it could be removed at the time of biopsy and we were flat out told no. Unhappy with this we moved him to Hampden vets who on first look knew straight away this was an epuli caused by a deciduous tooth and said they would remove and biopsy (no need for x-ray) all at the same time. After this experience it has left me questioning companioncare's duty of care (by suggesting to put a older dog under more than twice in such a short space of time), knowledge in general as not once did they make us aware the tooth was a deciduous tooth and the whole thing just felt like they were trying to get more money from a very simple procedure. Such a shame as previously had really good experiences there.
Negative experience: My dog has an ear infection and so was prescribed an antibiotic. 15ml bottle at the Companion Care Vets was £39.90. The same 15ml online is £10. When I asked if I can get just a prescription then, firstly they wouldn't give it to me, they can only send it directly to a chosen shop, and then they wanted to charge me another £20 just for the prescription, which would bring the total to almost the same price anyway. When I asked receptionist if the antibiotic is just £10 and the fee is almost £30 she said "no". When I prompted and asked why it's 4 times the price online then she said its because of "their overheads". To make this deal even sweeter I pay a monthly plan that cost me over £200 a year. What a rip off.
Negative experience: I wont ever try and use this vets again. I called at the weekend to get help for a guinea pig with an ulcerated eye. The woman on the phone was so rude and unhelpful. She huffed down the phone at me and told me to go elsewhere before hanging up on me!
Fantastic experience: Very good place staff are very helpful and friendly in the vets and also in the shop itself.
Positive experience: Every time I take my dogs here, we see a different vet!
Fantastic experience: Our Dino was a bit scared in the beginning but the vet and staff were kind enough to him so we got what we wanted for him .thank you guys
Positive experience: I didn't attend the vets, but went to the Pets at Home shop it's inside. Stock levels were good and the shop was busy.
Fantastic experience: Always friendly my dogs love the staff here.
Fantastic experience: Staff are really good and friendly with animals. Receptionist really helpful and informative too.
Fantastic experience: I moved to this vets about a year ago after having repeated poor service from another local vet. I am really pleased I did. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful, I've never had a problem with getting an appointment and the vets have been kind, professional and explain what's happening really well. The location is great too, close to home with ample parking.
Negative experience: Over half an hour late being seen. Charged extra to execute a procedure during the appointment, which is effectively double charging. This used to be a reasonably priced place with good service, recently it has gone down.
Positive experience: I shop hear every two weeks for my pet needs and companion care is a veterinarian service inside pets at home
Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience and bunny taken good care of. There's something about the reception and breakout spaces that make this place the future of companion animal care.
Fantastic experience: Took my dog to get her booster and nails clipped, always excellent care especially when my dog is very hyperactive happy to see anyone and everyone, they know how to handle her very well.
Fantastic experience: Vet was very good, helped with problem and gave great advice.
Fantastic experience: I cannot praise the staff enough .. everyone from reception , nurse and vets . I currently have a very poorly dog .. the professionalism but with an added empathy with owners.. As a pet owner running out of funds .. no judgment, just kindness and still trying their absolute best for both ,we don’t know what’s causing it but doing the best for what I can afford .. I went elsewhere 6/12 ago because of a couple of vets there who seem to have left … 5 star reviews for all the vets there … can’t thank them enough.
Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to this practice as my usual vet couldn't help me for a few days. I called on the off-chance they would be able to see me and the friendly receptionist registered my details and advised me to come and wait to be seen between slots with no definite time slot. Within 2 hours of calling my beagle had been fully checked over and prescribed the antibiotics she needed. Georgina was the name of the vet I saw. She was very professional and friendly, and gave plenty of good advice supporting the problem attended for. I'm so pleased with the service that I will likely move all pets here for future vaccinations and care.
Fantastic experience: Wow what a lovely team!! From calling the receptionist from home and arriving in store my Dog Ricco was seen within 30 minutes, the vet Amanda was caring, compassionate and highly professional aswell as the nurse and the Receptionists. What stood out most was when I had to go and collect Ricco's medication I had explained to the receptionist on the phone beforehand that I had just been discharged from hospital and they said they would bring the prescription out to the car for me so I didn't need to come into the store as I was still recovering, I was blown away by the pure kindness from the receptionist as it just shows not only do they care for our animals but they care about their customers just as much. I regrettably didn't catch the receptionists name but I hope this review gets seen by management and they receive the recognition they truly deserve. I highly recommend Companion Care Aylesbury because you won't be disappointed and when your beloved pet needs a vet they will ensure you get the highest quality of service, it can be traumatic for both you and your animals but please trust me when I say you will be very much looked after!! Thank you Companion Care Aylesbury
Fantastic experience: Because the staff are lovely as I use a wheelchair Oliver is so kind
Negative experience: The vets here could honestly not care less. We went in numerous times to express concerns with our cats breathing, to which they said they were not concerned, she was just obese. They even said she sounded all clear when listening with the stethoscope. They noted that she had put an entire pound on in less than 2 months, but were not concerned by this. She has now passed. We went to a different vets last week, who straight away said her breathing did not sound right. They found that actually she was not obese- she had a build up of fluid around her lungs (making her look and feel bigger than she was), which was caused by cancer. The fluid was restricting her lungs from expanding, true to our concerns, she could hardly breathe in the last few weeks of her life. God bless her- but we are glad it was something incurable/cancer. Imagine had it been curable but we had left it too late after listening to the unconcerned vets at Companion Care.
Fantastic experience: When I made the appointment to get my dog spayed. I was advised how long to wait after her heat. I called & popped in to ask questions about the spaying, & the receptionist was very pleasant & patient. I was able to drop my Daisy off early so I made work on time. I have dyslexia & the nurse read the questions before surgery to me. Which was a big help. I got a call to ask me permission to give her an injection to help with nausea, I thought was really good. When I went to pick Daisy up, the receptionist was really helpful & professional. The nurse that came out to speak to me was so nice & patient with me, (I had a wee tear of relief that everything went well). She explained what to do for after care. & I loved that the written instructions has Daisy’s name on it, rather than just being a generic letter. When I called today to book in her check up appointment, the receptionist was so sweet. The whole experience was very positive, I feel they treated Daisy & me care & kindness.
Fantastic experience: This time I only visited to order Yo-yo’s repeat prescription, no problems at all and most of the reception staff know my name as I go in, so they just asked for which dog the medication was for, sorted and ordered within just a few minutes
Fantastic experience: The vets and receptionist are always a pleasure to see The vet was very knowledgeable and could see what was wrong with my cat as soon as we took him out of the carrier and gave him a treatment plan and loads of cuddles
Fantastic experience: Everyone at Companion care is always really friendly and helpful and explain everything really well they care about both my pet and myself and the treatment rooms and waiting area are always very clean my dog always feels welcome coming in
Fantastic experience: The care for my dog was brilliant..hes a bit shy of people and they treated him accordingly and put my mind at rest. The after care advice was very good and any question wasnt a silly question.
Positive experience: Seen quickly by very friendly and helpful receptionists. Always been happy with the service I have received from Aylesbury Companion Care vets so far.
Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable and friendly vets. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Overall great experience
Fantastic experience: Nothing to discuss. Your team is super professional, very kind and caring, always accomodating and working around customer not the other way around. I highly recommend your company to my friends and family as I've never been mistreated by you guys
Fantastic experience: They look after my cat like its one of there own i was very satisfied great company great service
Fantastic experience: I visited companion care as an emergency, and unregistered, the guys on reception booked me I immediately, and I saw Alan a vet who did his absolute best for my little Ronnie ❤️ he found a solution Ronnie's emergency all the while trying his best to keep my costs to a minimum. Amazing people. Thank you. Xxx
Fantastic experience: The nurse I dealt with was very reassuring and great with Juno. She explained everything to me and put my nerves to rest.
Fantastic experience: The Vet that Newt and Hudson saw was just wonderful. She took an interest in my new kittens and made sure I was happy and had no questions before I left. I hope they see her again
Fantastic experience: vet was lovely with my nervous small dog but was able to put me at ease to help put my dog at ease. Everything was explained thoroughly as to what could be wrong with her and we discussed a number of different routes/ideas as to how to get her better
Positive experience: Reception team really happy friendly credit to the team. Vets themselves usually really friendly however new vet was snappy and upset he didn’t have a nurse to assist him. Asked him to look at my cat whilst having vaccines done and tried to sell me products without even inspecting him and confirming what was wrong then later changed his mind and tried selling me more products not sure if he was on a upswell bonus and just having a bad day needs some people skills maybe the reception team can teach him.
Positive experience: I completely trust the staff with my animals. The only real let down is the waiting area - it’s not very nice
Positive experience: Very caring vets . Been taking my dogs there for 10 years and great service with a smile from the start. Only slight downside is the smallish waiting area for the amount of owners and pets waiting. My shepherd is not good with other dogs and it’s Very stressful waiting for a while within the sight of other dogs.
Fantastic experience: always made to feel welcome, very friendly staff, efficient, receptionists always helpful so well done to all the team
Fantastic experience: Very friendly receptionist & the nurse was kind & very helpfully on our first visit.
Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable vets who were very calm and professional. Receptionists were also helpful sorting out flea and worming treatments for my dog.
Negative experience: If you are looking for professional butchers, here is the perfect place to bring your pet. One of the phrases I've heard when I refused a certain investigation was "so you don't care about your cat's health,no?". After the neutering procedure where they remove all the reproductive organs (without my consent), keeping her without food for over 16 hours due to their lack of commitment and a severe infection that they are not making themselves accountable for, is time to find a different practice. Horrible experience.
Fantastic experience: Receptionist, Joy, is friendly, professional and immediately makes you feel welcome and at ease. She knows who you and your pet are as soon as you arrive, even without an appointment, making you feel valued as a customer. The vets themselves are fantastic. They show so much love and compassion for the animals they treat and their humans. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and would recommend then to anybody.
Fantastic experience: Very pleasant at reception, explain all my questions. The Vet Well professional and explain everything think I asked.
Fantastic experience: Excellent vets. The team is lovely, kind and compassionate. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Fantastic experience: The staff are very helpful.I had to wait for 25 minutes as they were behind. But the vet was pleasant.
Negative experience: I have been registered at this practice for years. I rate Oliver. However I am not as impressed with other vets and particularly one who has recently had to leave. I feel that this practice is super expensive now and not good value any more. I am now out of pocket by a considerable amount of money because an insurance claim has been declined on one of my dogs after a lot of investigations deemed obviously irrelevant. The diagnosis was confused and I was made to believe that tests were imperative. When your pet is ill you take the advice of the vet… I blame myself for following this flawed advice and will be changing practice imminently. I had another encounter with my other dog the week before Easter and refused to see the vet I had had problems with before. My 20 month old dog was extremely pyrexial and fading fast. Bloods were taken and revealed a serious infection / possible sepsis with markers raised and I was referred to a specialist centre for the following day but not immediately. It was 6pm by this time and they were all going home! In the space of less than an hour my dog was moribund and because of a lack of in house out of hours service, phoned the specialist centre who requested me to take him immediately. Diagnosis was sepsis with a huge lumbosacral abscess. He thankfully survived because of the expertise of the specialists but if I had not taken him that night he would probably had died before the morning. I no longer have confidence in this practice and it is sad to leave Oliver but he is not always there. This practice is driven by money, doing unnecessary tests and not providing the joined up care that my pets deserve. Beware!
Fantastic experience: Amazing vet I won’t take my Dogs anywhere else always a great service and the staff are lovely The Vet I saw with my little dog Bella was so nice and understood all my worries.
Negative experience: Waited an hour for a pre booked appointment then the vet just tried selling me stuff we didn't need As well as injecting there own hand
Fantastic experience: The receptionist Joy was so helpful and understanding when I first rang. She gave her name and advised us to call first thing in the morning. She remembered my call and made certain that Casper was seen that morning. Excellent service.
Fantastic experience: Great team, they took great care of both of my dogs and excellent advice.
Fantastic experience: I have confidence in Leonie; she is a first class vet who connects with every pet we've ever owned.
Fantastic experience: My exspereince was good at the vets. They were very helpful.
Fantastic experience: The whole process of booking and attending the appointment was so easy. I even got to see the vet I requested. George is always so good at explaining treatment and really shows compassion.
Fantastic experience: The over all care of the vet the thorough examination the speed of the app in a emergency and dealing with everything thank u from very worried pet owners our Benny is back to normal x
Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff. Good explanations and I felt care was good after my dog's surgery. Another visit today for Annual check up and jabs, all the team were friendly and made my dog, therefore me, feel at ease. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: I was concerned about my dog but the vet was able to put my mind at ease. The treatment has worked and am happy to say he is much better now.
Positive experience: Not very happy with reception as they told me for a second tim e that my dogs health plan had been cancelled when I phoned the company they informed me that it hadnt
Fantastic experience: I moved to this practice to follow Oliver Watson, a vet who has known my animals for many years, and have always appreciated the thorough, personal and knowledgeable treatment and care we have always received throughout the entire time we have known him, both from Oliver and from all his staff. Cannot fault this practice.
Fantastic experience: Vet was lovely with my cat and very thorough. Explained everything.
Fantastic experience: Right from the first engagement with reception to meeting the vet, everyone was very professional and caring. The vet understood the issue and also my situation to give very constructive advice and a plan I can stick to. Couldn’t recommend high enough, and as someone who works in the service industry and finds faults everywhere I go, that’s a big statement. Great practise guys.
Negative experience: Our 5 year old dog visitied Companion Care several times for problems with a build up in her ears and she would scratch them until they bled. We were prescribed ear cleaner everytime even though it wasn't getting rid of the problem. We decided to try another vets who took swabs, something Companion Care never did and they prescribed antiobiotics once results were back. 3 days after starting these her ears are completely clear and the scratching has stopped. After wasting a lot of money on consultations and prescriptions for ear cleaner I highly recommend you look elsewhere as it seems this vets will do all they can to keep you paying money without ever solving the problem.
Fantastic experience: I managed to book a same day appointment for my very ill dog but they called me back when an earlier appointment opened up. The vet was very understanding and listened to my concerns and explained clearly what the options were.
Fantastic experience: The vets and nurses were so kind and caring. I cannot thank Oliver enough for all he did for our cat when she was so poorly. Amazing vet and went out if his way to help. Thank you to you all x
Fantastic experience: The vets were so kind and caring when looking after my cat Beano. Oliver was so gentle and supportive at the end. Really cannot thank him enough
Positive experience: Reception had the flea/worm treatment all ready and waiting for me. No waiting around.
Fantastic experience: First time i have used their services and found they are very polite, caring and professional
Fantastic experience: I had to take my dog Barney to Companion Care in Aylesbury over the past weekend, due to severe vomiting, diarrhoea and lethargy. I could not have asked for better care. The vet, Oliver, did a thorough examination of Barney, but also treated Barney with gentle kindness and sensitivity. Barney was taken for some further tests and X-rays whilst I waited. The vet, Oliver then discussed his findings with me. I was given a couple of options and chose to have Barney admitted overnight for fluids, monitoring and further tests. Barney was admitted to Companion Care's Out of Hours service, and again I could not have asked for better care. They were so kind, and took really good care of Barney overnight, and kept me informed of his condition and progress, He was discharged late afternoon the next day, and he looked so much better, happier and more himself. I booked Barney in for a further check up at Companion Care the next morning, and, even though the vet, Oliver, was not actually one of the vets seeing appointments that day, he had noticed that Barney had been booked in again, so he came out and made time to see Barney, as he had been so concerned about Barney's condition. I was so impressed and grateful for the wonderful care that Barney received. They were all so very kind, caring, compassionate and willing to help, from the reception team to the wonderful vet. I felt that I could completely trust them all to take good care of my Barney and I will recommend my vets practice to all my friends.
Fantastic experience: George was very caring and called us back on Saturday evening when they received the reports from the laboratory
Fantastic experience: We very sadly had to have our beloved elderly cat put to sleep today due to an aggressive and inoperable tumour. There were some special circumstances surrounding this which could have made this procedure extremely difficult and traumatic. Thanks to Oliver, the wonderful vet, the experience was as gentle and painless as it could possibly have been. He really went out of his way to make sure that everything was carefully explained and his compassion and kindness was so much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend him and the practice to anyone needing veterinary care. Thank you so much Oliver.
Fantastic experience: George (the vet) was thorough in investigating our dogs many ailments and thoroughly explained treatment and possible options going forward.
Fantastic experience: The nurse was very friendly and professional to explain the procedure my pet was having. I left very confident that my pet was in very good care. Also the surgeon got in touch by phone and explained how my pet was felling and how they would go ahead with the surgery after I was informed and accepted the circumstances . The team got back to me by phone to let me know how did the surgery when and how my pet was doing. Overall a very good and organised team.
Fantastic experience: It was quick, efficient and professional. The only downside is the small waiting area for the amount of pets and owners.
Fantastic experience: Very friendly welcome from the reception team. Consultation room was covid secure and the vet was very kind and knowledgeable, also put my pet at ease.
Fantastic experience: Oliver operated on Daisy my dog brilliantly, not the easiest place but it has healed beautifully in less than two weeks. Special thanks to Oliver and the veterinary nurses who cared for Daisy during her time. THANKYOU so much, Best Wishes Sarah.
Fantastic experience: All the staff are amazing! They always come over and make a fuss of my dog when he comes in. My dog recently had a operation and we knew he was in excellent hands with Alan the vet and the nurses. Beforehand Alan explained everything in detail and made us feel comfortable. We were previously at an independent vet, which was more expensive and I feel I have received a much better caring service through Companion care at a better price. 10/10. It is never an issue getting an appointment and there opening times are great
Fantastic experience: Very professional and very friendly staff. The vet we saw was very thorough and explained my dogs condition and treatment very well and a way that we could understand.
Fantastic experience: Easy to book an appointment and explain what I needed. The vet was excellent and was amazing with Rocco and answered any questions I had for his health. The reception team were great explaining the plan which I registered for there and then.
