Fantastic experience: Bruceview Vets have looked after all of my cats over the years and I genuinely couldn’t ask for more from a veterinary practice. They’re not just professional, they’re compassionate and genuinely welcoming. A lot of vets say they’re animal lovers but the team at Bruceview actually show it in how they treat both the animals and their owners. They always remember my previous cats and ask about the others at home, which means a lot. When you walk in you’re not just another appointment slot. They spend time with the cat, they’re patient and they handle them with real care. Not all cats love the vets, I’ve had a few that absolutely hated going but Bruceview have always been understanding. Whether that meant rescheduling, prescribing something to ease the stress or just calmly working around a grumpy, terrified cat, they’ve always done everything they can. Sadly, part of having pets is saying goodbye. On those occasions, Bruceview have handled things with incredible sensitivity. They’ve given us space when we’ve needed it, treated our pets with dignity and supported both my wife and i through difficult moments with kindness and respect. I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Our first time at Bruceview and for quite a big surgery. From the first phone call right through to the end of the surgery, collecting our baby, all the staff at Bruceview have been brilliant. Want to say a massive thank you again to Rory as he put our mind at ease immediately and the second we left our little baby in his care, we knew she was in the best hands. Again, cannot recommend enough, if we lived closer we would without a doubt love this to be our go-to vet practice.

Fantastic experience: Bruceview at Bannockburn cared so beautifully for our elderly Beagle during his last years and his last moments. So there was no question when we finally made the decision to have another dog that we would choose them again. All of the staff are truly excellent.

Fantastic experience: Had Kove in for her puppy vaccinations and health check, the veterinary staff are fantastic and always take the time to explain any questions or worries that you may have, explaining in a way that you fully understand and putting you at ease, also the fantastic reception staff, who always manage to find you an appointment when you phone in sometimes frantic with your sick or injured pet, always friendly and reassuring, I have used Bruceview for over 30yrs years, even though I have recently moved to another area, I wouldn't go anywhere else and highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet who will care for your pet like you do.

Fantastic experience: We've been taking our cats to Bruceview Vets for over 20 years and wouldn't consider going to any other veterinary clinic in the area. All of the staff, from the receptionists to the nurses and vets, are friendly, welcoming and highly professional. When we go to Bruceview we know the advice and treatment we get will be in the best interests of our pet. We highly recommend Bruceview to anyone in search of a first class veterinary practice at a reasonable price.

Fantastic experience: Nothing wrong with the staff and service provided by the team, what really gets my goat is how the costs have rocketed up, Bruceveiw vets is part of a large group of vets called laughingly! Independent vetcare' in 2024 they reported a turnover of £1,181.00 million and a gross profit of £555.5 million, its great to make the rich richer, even more gauling their groups purpose is, healthy animals happy owners, of course we must be happy to spend a fortune on vet care.

Fantastic experience: I was quite nervous about taking my new puppy to the Vet as we have just moved to the area. But Bruceview Vets put my mind at ease, the reception staff were super friendly and welcoming to my puppy. The vetinarian was very friendly, understandimg & kind, my puppy easily felt comfortable and happy to be handled, and I felt listened to. The vet experience at Bruceview for myself and my puppy was very positive, and when we had our second visit for vaccinations we already felt like part of the family. I am very satisfied with my new Vet & Clinic, I could not recommend them enough ⭐⭐

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Bruceview Vets for about 30 years with the cats I've had and have always found the receptionists to be very friendly and helpful and the vets very nice and explain everything that needs to be done at the appointments

Fantastic experience: Recently had to take our dog Buddy for an emergency appointment, struggling to put weight on his front leg. Vet was amazing, so kind and gentle and after a thorough examination found he had pulled his tricep muscle. Would highly recommend Bruceview

Fantastic experience: We have been on a long journey since last November with our little border terrier dog Meg. Diabetes and Cushings disease amongst a few other complicated conditions. Bruceview have been excellent from start to finish. Ella, who first dealth with Meg, has showed care and compassion and done so much to help us manage Meg's diabetes. We must also mention Jennifer and Sophie who have also both been a big part in Meg's progress. Meg loves her visits to Bruceview as she always gets fussed by the fantastic receptionists and nurses. We can only apologise about her barking Bruceview have made a very difficult time with Meg a lot easier with their care, attention and kindness. I can not recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Our dog Samson recently needed an emergency appointment recently. The receptionist on the phone was friendly and helpful in arranging the appointment. On arrival at Bruceview a warm welcome from the receptionist. Jennifer was the Vet who looked after Samson. A thorough examination of Samson and she came up with a diagnosis. Jennifer took time to explain everything to us and costs were fully explained before treatment was started. Within the week Samson made a full recovery. We only registered with Bruceview last year and certainly one of the best vets we've used.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Bruceview. From the vets to the vet nurses and front desk staff, everyone is fantastic. We've been bringing our two dogs here for the past two years since moving to the area, and the care has been exceptional throughout. Both dogs have had their share of health scares — including surgeries — and one requires monthly injections. No matter the situation, the team has always been incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional. They take a genuine interest in each of our dogs, always asking after them and making sure they’re comfortable and cared for. We feel very lucky to have Bruceview as our local vet clinic — we trust them completely and couldn't recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: Our cats have been taken care of by Bruceview Veterinary Practice since we moved to Scotland in 1988. We have had 7 cats over these years, Birmans and British short-haired. They have all had exceptionally good care from the vets and nurses at the practice for their routine care and also for any illness or accident. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming and will always try to arrange suitable apts or contact with the vets. When the time has come for saying goodbye to our much loved cats, the Bruceview Practice have always tried to make this difficult experience as easy as possible for both the cat and us. We now have one Bluepoint Birman who will be 18 in July. He has had many visits to Bruceview during this time. They have seen him through 4 major abdominal operations referring him onwards to Edinbugh University Veterinary Hospital as appropriate, and again for a rare skin condition. They have continued his followup care for these problems and have cared for him with the development of Chronic Renal Failure as he has grown older. He has attended for his coat to be clipped on a regular 8 weekly basis with one of the Veterinary nurses for nearly 10 years, which has reduced the risk of him suffering bowel obstruction caused by hairballs. He undoubtedly has had more contacts with Veterinary staff than most cats, and all the staff at the Practice have always been gentle and kind with him. I consider the care given at the Practice to be excellent, and would not hesitate to recommend them to any cat owner.

Fantastic experience: My dog is not very friendly with people but the way some vets treating him is just incredible he is not afraid of them and he seems like he knows that they are helping him. He trust two vets so if he trust them I trust them too

Fantastic experience: Peaches and Blaze had a fab morning at the vets .. Blaze was so chilled out with the friendly helpful staff she thought she was at a spa day ! Lying back for belly rubs and snoozing on the scales. Thank you again for a non stressful visit and the great advice .. it’s nice to know they are in good hands they always feel safe and secure ✨ 19/4/25 yearly check - back again - my cats are always happy and chilled in the vets , they roll about on the bench and want tummy rubs - this is again due to them feeling safe and secure with those dealing with them ..

Fantastic experience: Our cat was due in at 9am on Saturday 5th October for her health check and annual vaccinations. However, she seems to have a sixth sense about these kind of things so vanished overnight and by 8.40am, still hadn’t turned up. We tried to call Bruceview to rearrange the appointment, however the practice phone lines don’t open until 9am. As if by magic, our cat turned up at 8.59am so we called as soon as the practice opened to explain the situation. Jody on reception was very sympathetic and said they had an appointment at 10.50am if we could make it, so we gladly took it. When we got to the practice, we were seen by Irene who was so helpful and patient with our cat and also explained that someone else was able to take our appointment at short notice, which was a relief as we would hate to see an appointment wasted due to our crafty cat! Irene was great in administering the vaccinations but also administered flea and worming meds, which we have trouble with at times. Irene spotted a few bits of matted fur developing which we hadn’t noticed and she very kindly teased these out for her. Overall 5/5 service, as always. We’ve used this practice for years for our cats and our dog previously, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My Cat had to have complete Dental work done. Rory was absolutely fabulous showing me everything that was to be done , pictures, files and X rays etc I couldn’t fault him and I have a new cat with boundless energy again

Fantastic experience: We have been with Bruceview for 30 years plus, and our latest visit was Saturday 24th August. The vet who gave our dog 'Misty' her annual check up, was 1st class, very professional, explained everything in detail, and managed to clip all her nails ! Which is never easy, but she did it with little fuss. Great service from Bruceview as always, we wouldn't go anywhere else with our dogs..it's a 10/10from us..

Fantastic experience: We had been to several veterinary clinics over the years and were mostly disappointed and sometimes concerned. Then we found Bruceview Veterinary Clinic. Bruceview is situated in a place where there is a good area of grass where your pet can do what they do before and after their appointment. Reception was spacious and the staff friendly and welcoming. Andy, the vet who saw our Boarder Collie, Kara, was easy to talk to and was very good with our slightly nervous dog. Instead of lifting her onto the examination table, which always alarms her, he got down on the floor with her and made his examination while taking to her. It’s the calmest I’ve ever seen Kara at the vets. Andy was thorough and explained what was happening with Kara, we learned a lot in that visit and are happy with his suggested treatment for Kara. Fantastic experience: The reception staff are always lovely and straight forward over the phone and in person, every vet I’ve had has been enthusiastic, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They truly care for the pets that come into their practice and can see the love of animals from all of the staff. When we have had a charge it has always been explained clearly in the appointment. When setting up my appointment for the Snips and Chips Scheme via cats protection, Bruceview receptionists explained all I would need to bring to the appointment clearly. Fantastic experience: Had to take my spaniel in with a swollen ear. The vet quickly diagnosed the cause and proposed a treatment plan. She was friendly, knowledgeable and great with both dog and human. The staff here always have a friendly welcome for animals and humans. They are very knowledgeable and seem to have a genuine love for animals and the job they do.

Fantastic experience: I've had Yorkshire Terriers for nearly 40 years and I've always went to Bruceview Vets. I would not dream of going anywhere else, why?. Well I have never had a negative experience here and trust the vet's with my wee dog's life. Bruceview have kept all my wee dog's healthy and long living. All staff from receptionists to administration staff, from nurses and vet's are all very passionate and friendly while being professional and no hard selling by vet's. Very open about costs also. Bruceview will not let you down.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't have chosen a better vets for my puppy. The reception staff are very freindly and welcoming. The vets are great with my pup, who doesn't mind going as he always get a treat from the staff. As a first time dog owner I have worried about a few things (going down the Google rabbit-hole) and each time the vets have put my mind at ease instantly. I can't praise the staff highly enough, no question is a silly question to them. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: What a lovely greeting you get from counter staff then when I saw the vet he was brilliant with our kittens which made me feel at ease, upon collecting our kittens they couldn't get one of them in their carrier so they gave me one of their own to take him home which was very kind and trusting of them. As I waited for my turn lots of owners were coming in for medicine for their pets and it was like family visiting as the staff knew who they were and asking how their pets were which shows how caring they are, it's not just a wage at the end of the week, all the staff really care, it was my first visit with my kittens but I won't hesitate in using them again.

Fantastic experience: A 5 star service from the staff at Bruceview, we registered our new puppy Seren with the practice for her 2nd vaccination the service we received from entering till leaving was 1st class, every question we asked was answered we left far more knowledgeable than when we entered, we took out the pet plan which the vet explained to us this is excellent value. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a veterinary practice to look no further than here.

Always have a smile and a friendly word. 2/05/22 now that covid is almost over still wearing masks but now allowed in to reception. Again a friendly welcome and well informed vet. Another visit to the vet with our new puppy. Covid long over and all back to normal. New vets in the practice, but still the same friendly service.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Bruce View vets. The staff are amazing , they listen to your problems with your pet and give you great advice. They tell you how much its going to cost you and if your needing help, they all help you as much as they can. Just a great place to take your pets . They have been great with my two cats, one of which needed surgery and also developed arthritis since we registered with the practice early last year. Price has always been made clear before proceeding so there were no surprises and all the options were explained so I could make an informed choice about my cats' treatment. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Been at this vet practice for years. Wouldn't go anywhere else. All staff are great, friendly and really attentive. Instead of waiting outside in the cold they give u a small device that when it's your turn it lets out a continuous beeping for u to go up to the door for your appointment. Handy if u drove there and don't want to stand outside if its a horrible day
