Positive experience: The whole team is great, gives you massive comfort, just feel like these people are in the right place, you can feel they really love and care about animals. My wee boy had surgery to extract his teeth, everything was explained to me, all questions answered and we were treated with respect, even the situation was stressful for both of us. 4 stars because it is quite pricey as people said earlier. Metacam 10 ml - £28.32. It's their policy tho, I have nothing bad to say about staff, care and everything around, with a special shout out to anaesthesiologist, she managed to keep me and my dog (me especially) calm explaining the whole procedure and what's going to happen :) I really like that the receipts being send to your email Nice to see special waiting room for cat patients :)

Negative experience: So far the care has been fine. But just got charged £107 for 100ml of Metacam. Something you can buy online (with a prescription from a vet) for £16.95. That is really taking the mickey.

Fantastic experience: My cat was referred to Neurology here following a series of unexplained seizures. We met Maria the clinician for consultation and then also review of MRI / testing, etc. She was so thorough and made sure we were aware of all our options with their pros and cons. Thankfully my cat was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy and was sent away with long term management recommendations, so hopefully shouldn’t need to return too soon, however I would have no issues using this hospital again in a heartbeat. It was also be a miss to not mention how lovely and accommodating the reception / support staff were at the hospital. They managed to keep stress to a minimum, and again explained everything really well re appts and insurance payments. Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: My dog Oscar has unfortunately had to have operations on both his back legs due to cruciate ligament failure. Every aspect of my experience with this hospital was excellent, the surgeon, Keira was fantastic, very knowledgeable, professional and explained everything clearly. I cannot praise everyone involved in Oscar's care enough, I would highly recommend this hospital and I am pleased to say the outcome after Oscar's surgery has proved successful and despite the long road to recovery it has been worth all the stress. A huge thank you to all the staff concerned.

Fantastic experience: I could say so many positive thing about my experience here at Broadleys my bulldog had to have surgery done to her cruciate ligament and this practise was so professional I had the pleasure of dealing with Luke on the phone explained everything so well even made me aware they would have to fix her kneecap as it was loose then the nurse spoke to me the same night and gave me updates about my dog then when I came to collect the 2 receptionists were very nice and informative i then dealt with Chan amazing nurse ran down my dogs complete after care plan showed me extras for the dog eg putting cone on properly and answered every single question I didn’t feel rushed then my beautiful dog came out and I can tell she had been treated with the best care possible i will be more than happy to return here for anything in the future and highly recommend anyone who loves their pet and wants the best care for them should come to Broadleys aswell ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Broadleys vets are an amazing vets and keeps you all updated with your animal when it's in for surgery. My 6 months old chihuahua had to get emergency surgery and the team were amazing and kept me up to date and phoned everyday. Can’t fault the staff.

Fantastic experience: Broadleys isn’t my vet practice but I had to attend to visit the ophthalmologist due to my dog sustaining an eye injury. I had to attend practically every 2 weeks over a few months for his treatment. I can’t praise the staff there highly enough. They were all polite & friendly and the nurse when I picked up boy after his op happily answered all my ‘anxious parent’ questions. The ophthalmologist Julia deserves a special mention and I can’t thank her enough for helping my boys eye!

Fantastic experience: I am incredibly grateful to this amazing vet hospital. My dog suddenly became very ill just over a week ago and Broadleys got him in that day with the incredible Prof Jacques. He explained everything so well including what is likely happening, what else could be happening, and costs throughout. I’m so thankful they had the MRI that day and kept my dog under while giving us the results. I appreciated that Jacques quotes studies and provided statistics on what to do and expect. He operated straight away once we gave the green light and he’s done an amazing job. My dog could barely walk before and was in so much pain he was terrified to move, well he walked right out of there a few days later! Sam and the other nurses were amazing with him, it reassured me so much getting regular updates and knowing he was with such lovely people. It’s been a week since he got home and he is his normal self! He has a big wound but it looks absolutely perfect, there hasn’t even been any bruising! I’ve had continued communication as needed which I also really appreciate. When this happened it was very scary; at first not knowing what it was and seeing my little love in such pain, then worrying whether he would be walking etc, I’m so glad he was seen at Broadleys as they were so lovely, understanding, caring and professional. I am forever grateful. My dog was diagnosed with IVDD and had a disc extrusion.

Fantastic experience: My little Pippa was not in a great way when we got our referral. As soon as we got referred, the reception staff were lovely, so informative and friendly. Put me at ease straight away. The neurologist was amazing with us in explaining every step and result. Updated morning and eve while she was in and covered everything off, very transparent. You can tell the staff really care for your little one when they are in which is so comforting. Thank you for all your help and care. Honestly thought I had lost her. Cannot believe how much she’s improved in 3 days. Will be forever grateful

Had tests and investigations and major surgery the same day I was kept informed about her and was able to collect her the next day I had a full and detailed report to take away with detailed instructions for her care The vet was brilliant and all of the staff were fantastic and reassuring

Fantastic experience: A Long Overdue Thank You to Broadleys Veterinary Hospital. This is a review I’ve meant to write for a long time, but due to various circumstances, I haven’t managed to sit down and do it until now. I’m Norwegian, and in 2015, I moved to Perthshire with my two beloved Cocker Spaniels, Liza and her daughter Luna. We lived in Scotland until December 2024, when we returned to Norway. When I first arrived in Scotland, I chose Broadleys Veterinary Hospital because they were the largest vet hospital in the area and also offered 24-hour emergency care. After my very first visit, I had such a good feeling that I immediately decided to stay with them — a decision I would never regret! Over the next nine years, I visited Broadleys with Liza and Luna more times than I can count. We went through everything from routine check-ups and in-depth investigations to a number of surgeries — both minor and major. In total, I believe we went through around 10 surgeries. I love and respect my dogs more than anything. Their health and wellbeing have always come before my own, so naturally, I often felt anxious before vet appointments — especially if I suspected something serious or that surgery might be needed. One memorable example was the day I discovered mammary tumors on both Liza and Luna. Having experienced this with my previous dog Asia in Norway, I knew it meant surgery for both of them. I still remember the overwhelming worry I felt on my way to Broadleys. But I also vividly remember the peace I felt afterward, sitting in my car post-appointment — completely reassured. I felt 100% safe. Their surgeries went exactly as hoped, with excellent outcomes, just like every other procedure we went through at Broadleys. But beyond the outstanding medical care, there’s something else that truly sets Broadleys apart: their honesty. They never put me or my dogs through unnecessary treatments or costs. Broadleys always made me feel confident that their only concern was the wellbeing of my dogs. That level of integrity is something I now appreciate even more after moving back to Norway, where — unfortunately — I’ve encountered a very different approach. Honestly, I could literally move back to Scotland just for Broadleys. So, thank you — truly — to everyone at Broadleys Veterinary Hospital. And a special thank you to the main protagonist who made all of this possible. You’ve always had — and will always have — my deepest respect and gratitude! Fantastic experience: Outstanding Care at Broadleys Veterinary Hospital. I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional staff and specialists at Broadleys Veterinary Hospital. When our pup Broxi suffered a broken leg, our local vet referred us to Broadleys due to the complexity of the fracture. Within just 24 hours of arriving at Broadleys, Broxi had undergone treatment and was back home with us, well on the road to recovery. The level of care, professionalism, and compassion shown by the team was truly outstanding. It’s as if our wee Broxi had never had an accident at all. We are incredibly grateful for the prompt and expert treatment he received. Thank you, Broadleys, for giving us our happy, healthy pup back.

Fantastic experience: my cat and i have been going to broadleys for four years now and i can’t recommend them enough! every single vet i have seen has been so helpful and so caring. they all have been able to quickly spot and treat his health conditions, which continue to grow as he ages. sadly, i live a bit far away and had to switch vets to go somewhere closer, but i will forever feel so grateful for this entire team who has given my cat the utmost care, and for the kind receptionists who have been gentle and caring whenever i leave feeling emotional. amazing team, i wish i lived closer!!

Fantastic experience: Went to see an orthopedic consultant for my dogs elbow dysplasia and she was ama@ing. She explained everything clearly and took time explaining what we can do to help his condition and what will make it worse. Worth the travelling for us

Negative experience: Took my cat in today for tests because he has unexplained weight loss and has been spraying constantly in the house. The vet did some blood tests, but did not do urinary tests despite his history of urinary problems and despite me flagging this by phone before the appointment. The vet's comments about the spraying were completely unrealistic and totally contrary to the advice from the cat behaviourist. For example, the vet said we should keep other cats away by using a sprinkler when a) we live in the Trossachs and the tap and hose are frozen for 4 months a year, and b) the garden is an acre and surrounds the house, so you would need a truckful of sprinklers and a dozen outside taps! The vet then failed to send me a written copy of the test results, despite me asking for it. I would not recommend this vet for cats. Edited to add: I originally left a 2* review. I have now reduced this to 1* for two reasons. 1) The staff at Broadleys responded to my negative review by leaving me a note inaccurately asserting that I had left a negative review for a different local business (see picture). I do not appreciate their attempt to mislead or intimidate me into removing my review. Given this experience I would STRONGLY advise that people do not trust the positive reviews on here, because it appears the staff are trying to mislead or bully clients into removing negative reviews. 2) I saw a vet from a different surgery for a second opinion. That vet identified a clear bladder problem (swollen, firm, tender) and prescribed 2 medications to treat it. He also told me a urinary test was definitely needed. This was missed by the vet at Broadleys two days earlier.

Fantastic experience: Our dog Molly was diagnosed by our own vet on Thursday the 27th of Feb of a ruptured cruciate ligament. They managed to get us a referral very quickly with Broadleys on the 4th of March. We took Molly up to see Othopedic Vet Luke Arnott, who assessed her. He admitted her that afternoon to do investigation tests and operated on her the next day. we were able to collect her on Thurs the 6th. From our 1st point of contact with Broadleys, everyone there was 1st class, very professional and caring. Luke could not have been any more informative. He explained everything clearly and put our minds at rest she would only get the best attention possible. We were kept informed with updates on Molly's progress by Broadleys each day, and when we called the the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I can not recommend Broadleys highly enough. Within a week of seeing our own vet, we had Molly assessed, through an operation and home, to recuperate. I'm not sure if it would have been possible to get that sort of service anywhere else. We can not thank them enough for their care for Molly, and look forward to taking her back for her post op assessment in 6 weeks.

Fantastic experience: Poor Winston, our cat, took a turn late at night. Staff came out straight away, but unfortunately, Winston had passed before their arrival. They couldn't have been anymore sympathetic as if he were their own. They were there for us on the phone beforehand and when they arrived they hugged my son, which is a very personal thing showing they cared we had lossed one of the family. They were there for us and Winston. Brilliant and caring people. Aftercare was exceptional as if they were part of the family, understanding our grief. Can't thank them enough.

Negative experience: Appalling practice who only care about finances and not your pets , as my girlfriend got struck off register because of an outstanding bill of £17.59 , there excuse was they had sent letters out but she can only mind 1 being sent , but at the time her mother was in hospital with cancer and had just lost her dad the year before so it had slipped her mind , she offered to pay bill there and then but got told no and she would have to go to another vet ! Been with the practice for over 10 years and this is how your treated , disgusted .

Fantastic experience: Had to come here for a referral (Osteo), given they had never met us before they were lovely, very welcoming, informative, and took amazing care of our dog. He was there for three days two nights, and have a fairly complicated operation. They called us at all the appropriate times during the process, and were very good with how they delivered any news or information. If I ever need a new veterinary surgery or know someone close to Broadley's I would absolutely recommend them as a Vets. 5*s

Negative experience: 5 weeks ago, our beautiful boy took very unwell late on a Friday night. We called Broadley's (not our usual vets)as it is the only emergency vet we could find in Stirling . Spoke to the woman who told us to bring him in, and it would be £265 just to get in the place. My husband and I arrived and rang the bell , a few minutes later, an older woman came to the door and spoke to us very abruptly, asking if we had an appointment (23.30). Right at that moment I wanted to turn back and go home but our boy was very ill. After the most distressing and invasive checks, causing our poor boy to try and climb the wall to get away, we were sent home 10 minutes later with some medication. The whole experience left us all extremely upset. Never have we encountered such issues with our own vet and would never take any pet to this place ever. Sadly, our boy passed away 9 days later, and we regret putting him through so much unnecessary stress with such an,IMO, uncaring vet. She made us feel like we were getting in the way of her Friday night and didn't show one bit of compassion for our situation.

Fantastic experience: If your looking for a vet for your fur babies this is the place, they really care, my Ben is 13 and needed a tooth out they recommended extra tests to make sure to get a clearer picture without the pressure I chose to do them and glad that I did. His kidneys where not forming to there best so gave him fluids to help with the surgery. Also medication that would not cause him harm. He's home and back to his normal lazy King self. The additional tests were not overly expensive but if missed the added complications that might have occurred would not be as affordable.

Fantastic experience: My dog broke her leg 8 weeks ago. I was on holiday in England at the time. The emergency vet in the nearest town admitted he didn’t have the skill set to even attempt the surgery required. I packed up and drove home to see our own local vet in Scotland. Our own vet was willing to attempt the surgery but admitted it would be complex and a successful outcome wasn’t guaranteed. Many years ago another dog of mine had a very poor experience with a vet hospital (not this one) and I was so nervous about even entertaining the prospect of my dog having potentially having to attend a vet hospital. However, given the circumstances I could see it was necessary. My vet recommended this one which has specialists in orthopaedics and I cautiously took his advice. The X-rays / CT scan and subsequent surgery was completed by Ciara and my dog has gone from strength to strength! We completed our 8 week review at the hospital today and her continued advice was patience was very much welcomed. I am so very grateful for her professionalism and immense skill. Every member of staff I encountered across the process from the receptionists to the vet nurses and consultant were all fantastic and I am very happy to recommend them to others looking to choose a vet hospital.

Fantastic experience: My 15 year old boy Floyd needed to see someone late Saturday night. Called and organised an appointment for 15 minutes later. The vet was excellent. Very caring. He needed blood tests. The results were delivered to me by phone less than 2 hours later. Thankfully they all came back fine. Im praying he gets better soon as unsure what is causing the problems with his balance. Cant praise this place highly enough. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately I’m only able to give Broadleys a five star. Due to the emergency situation that I found myself at Broadleys with my dog, Pig ( French bulldog), I hope this review is helpful and puts peace of mind to others who may find themselves in the same situation. Pig was seen by 2 vets who diagnosed issues with her back. She was in obvious pain and my vet arranged an emergency appointment with professor Jacques within the hour. After a quick examination, Jacques thought the issue was with the neck area and MRI confirmed his initial assessment to be correct. Within 2 hours of our appointment, pig was operated on. Professor Jacques explained in layman’s terms ( as I’m not a medical professional) what the procedure would be, the risks, the success rate so that I was able to make an informed decision. The operation went well and I was kept informed at all stages. Sometimes, professor Jacques was in surgery or taking an emergency, so his wonderful team updated me. This must have happened to another family when he spent time taking us on as an emergency, undoubtedly saving pigs quality of life, if not life. When discharged, pig came home with a 4 page document detailing what was wrong that required surgery, how the surgery went, what was fixed and aftercare for the next 6 weeks. The bit that got me was “ can you please keep me updated on pigs recovery and how everything’s going once she’s home. If you feel that she’s not progressing as should, I would like you to bring her back to see me rather than her vet”. I was also given 4 ways to contact professor Jacques if I had any questions or queries. He’s not her vet, he’s a specialist who saved her life and he couldn’t show he cares about her, or us as her family, anymore if he tried. The receptionist was lovely, the girl who phoned with daily updates was amazing, the girl who helped us with the discharge of pig was wonderful, Professor Jacques was unbelievable. I could not rate them more and feel privileged that they had the time to help us when we needed it most and will never forget how easy they made a really difficult and stressful situation. Update almost 2 years on from the surgery: pig( frenchie) is doing great. She has no complications and has a great quality of life. You can see above what the vet practice done for her at the time but I read so many stories, see so many updates on frenchies not making it after spinal issues yet pig is enjoying her walks/ life unassisted. I know every case is individual, but if I can provide feedback or you want to ask the vet to put us in touch for me to tell you our experience first hand, I’m happy to do so. We have no regrets with the surgery or the vet and happy to help if it assists in any way.

Negative experience: Do not take your pet here. From reception mess ups on appt times, collection process and incorrect information provided, not to mention the state of my dog on collection which resulted in a serious condition that needed surgery from my own vet…. Endless debacle of poor customer care and mistreatment of my pet. Never again. On complaining the response was basically ‘nothing to do with us, to bad, so sad’ and ‘haven’t you seen our awards’. Disgraceful from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: My wee Yorkshire Terrier, Tia took unwell on Xmas Day, phoned emergency vet at Bradley's. She was given treatment for 4 days but sadly passed away on the Friday. I cannot fault the service I received and the love and care Tia received when there. Everyone at Bradley's was amazing and gave us so much care and love. Negative experience: Sent me and my paralysed dog away after booking appointment, all they care about is the fee and what they can get. Keep in mind my dog was suffering from IVDD and my vet recommended me to go here. I found the out about the small animal hospital in Glasgow. Go there instead. Pure negligence to your pet turning us away, especially after travelling over 1 hour to get here. Reception staff not helpful either full of attitude and disrespect. I was holding my dog in my arms and reduced to tears. Shocking place

Fantastic experience: Great vets, brilliant staff. Always get the best possible care and very helpful and friendly. They have a useful monthly payment plan for boosters, flea/worming, check ups and nail clipping etc. with a nurse.

Negative experience: If I could put Zero I would this non caring facility has refused to treat my dog I find it difficult to understand why they would involve themselves in some political thing with another vet

Negative experience: The treatment my partner received on the phone was shocking, whoever is answering the phones has a severe lack in empathy, especially considering the field you work in where peoples pets are unwell. Awful business, would not recommend.

The cardiologist was really caring while examining my dog Murphy and I felt Murphy was in very good and safe hands.
